  • Cenvat Adjustment for subsequent credit/debit posted

    Hi Everybody,
Is it necessary to do  Cenvat Adsjustment in J1IH for subsequent credit/debit posted against PO.
If  i want to do adjustment how to do and for  subsequent credit what's the option to be choose in J1IH and same for the subsequent debit.
    Regards
    Govindaraj

    Hello Rish,
Please, be aware that if you look at the document at MIR4/MIRO etc, they will apear as a INVOICE/CREDIT MEMO (in the "Drop down" box, in the top of transaction)even if they are sub. credit/deb, but that is the standard system behavior ! In order to check if it is a Subcequent debit/credit, you can check directly into rbkp table or even better, just check in the PO history! it will be in a separate category !
Give it a check if this is not the case!

  • GL Entries of  Excise JV for Subsequent Credit in J1IH

    Hello Friends ,
Kindly guide me with an issue :
The issue is for an exciseable material I have done POMIGOMIRO , now I want to do subsequent credit for the same PO due to some changes in the rates , I raise a subsequent credit and then I go to J1IH to make cenvat adjustment, here I enter the subsequent credit document no., select additional excise option & then I enter the material no , qty etc.
Now when I am determining the GL , following entries are shown:
CR   G/L ACT-XXXXXX        AMT -Rs XXXX         PROVISONAL LIABILITY VENDOR
DB   G/L ACT-XXXXXX        AMT -Rs XXXX         CENVAT INPUT SEC -EX GRP-XXX
DB   G/L ACT-XXXXXX        AMT -Rs XXXX         CENVAT INPUT BED -EX GRP-XXX
DB   G/L ACT-XXXXXX        AMT -Rs XXXX         CENVAT INPUT ECS -EX GRP-XXX
My question is as I am doing subsequent credit , the cenvat input account should get credited & vendor provisional liability account should get debited.
Kindly guide me about the entries & also what i need to do  to get correct entries
    Thanks

Credit memo is used to reduce the vendor liability with change in qty.
Credit memo is done in case of material to be returned to vendor. When you post a credit memo, the postings are reversed from the GR/Ir clearing account and the vendor account. But when you post a subsequent credit/debit the postings will be to the stock account and the vendor account.
The account postings for a subsequent debit/credit depend on the quantity that the subsequent debit/credit applies to:
If the quantity of the subsequent debit/credit is smaller than or the same as the quantity delivered, the system tries to post the subsequent debit/credit to the stock account. If the material is valuated with a standard price or if there is insufficient stock coverage for the quantity to be debited or credited, the amount is posted to a price difference account.
If the quantity of the subsequent debit/credit is larger than the quantity delivered, the system distributes the relevant amount proportionally. The part of the subsequent debit/credit that does not have a goods receipt is posted to the GR/IR clearing account. The remaining amount is posted to the stock account u2013 or in the case of standard price control or insufficient stock coverage u2013 to a price difference account.
if you create one more invoice, the qty invoiced will be increased by the qty you mention in the invoice.
ie if you have posted an invoice for 100 qty @ 10 per qty and again if you try to post the difference amount of 250 for total 100qty, system will update the invoice qty as 200, and it is wrong.
You have to use subsequent credit/debit.
So the thumb rule is that, if only value changes after Invoice verification, use subsequent credit/ debit and if there is qty and value changes, use credit memo / invoice.
After subsequent credit/debit u have to pass JV if the material is excisable,
select other adjst for subsequent credit and additional excise for subsequent debit.
    hope it helps

  • Document type for Subsequent Credit/Debit for idoc invoic01/02

    Hi SAP Gurus,
We are implemeting an interface to post incoming invoice with idoc Invoic01 idoc type.
We could able to post debit invoice and credit memo using document type in idoc (BSART)  as "INVO" and "CRME".
But we would also like to post Subsequent Credit/Debit memos also with this idoc type but not sure what should be used in document type field ( BSART) in idoc.
If any one has come across this scenario please suggest whether is it possible to use Invoic01 idoc type to post Subsequent Credit/Debit notes if yes what is the document types used? also I see in OBCE transaction we can only mention Invoice document type for debit and credit invoices only. How to handle this incase of subsequent Credit/Debit invoices.
    Thanks.

  • Report for Subsequent credit or Debit memo

    Hi All,
Can you please let us know if we have an report  - from which we could run to identify the subsequent debits/ credits posted against POs.
    Regards,
    Karthick

    Hi,
As of my knowledge, there is no standard report which will fulfill your requirement. You may create an SQVI / SQ02 query using EKBE table.
EKBE-VGABE can differentiate whether its a normal invoice or subsequent debit/credit. If EKBE-VGABE = 3, then its subsequent debit / credit and if EKBE-VGABE = 2, then its normal invoice.
You may use the field in the selection screen of the query / ABAP report and fill the value (as 3) manually while executing the report or hard code in the ABAP report or save as default variant for the query report.

  • Process flow for subsequent debit/credit

    Hi,
How to proceed for following scenario
user had booked invoice using MIRO,later vendor sent one credit note for that booked invoice and po of SAP.
how to impact this credit note for the existing invoioce verification in sap using subsequent credit/debit.
plz send me step-by step process.

    Hi Charan,
Has vendor sent you a credit memo or a subsequent credit?
Usually a credit memo refers to a goods return and a subsequent credit to a prior invoice that was set with a higher price than it should (for example).
So you can simply make a credit memo against the PO with the value/quantity in the vendor credit paper.
Go to MIRO and choose transaction 2 Credit memo, insert the original PO and adjust value/quantity. After saving the document the PO / Stock and value are updated.
    Regards.

  • Credit memo for subsequent acquisitions in Fixed Assets

According to the Fixed Asset help file - section Credit memo for Subsequent Acquisitions it Says " Fixed Assets *DOES NOT* allow posting a credit memo for a subsequent acquistion.  What are the exactt circumstances in which Fixed Assets will block these credit memos. I have added subsequent Acquisitions and Fixed Assets appears to allow credit memo's where depreaction has not been run and also where depreciation has  not been run. How does this blocking mechanism work?

    Hi John
It appears that there is no good answer to your question.  From my undertstanding, the SAP Fixed Assets add-on is a very basic solution, and does not anticipate many of the changes that can occur once an Asset is acquired.  Frankly, it is pretty basic when handling the initial acquisition.
Not that this will help you with this particular install, but the Fixed Assets add-on from B1 Fixed Assets LLC does a very thorough job of creating Assets, where you can use any or all of Invoices, Credit Memos, and Journal Entries, mixing and matching to create the Asset.  Once the Asset has be added, making Cost Adjustments is almost as thorough, and provides considerably more options to recognize the Cost Adjustment.  You can see a viedo of a relatively simple Asset Acquisition on YouTube (www.youtube.com/b1fixedassets).
Let me know how you get this issue resolved - I am very interested.

  • Need sugetion  for deleting credit card Transaction (i-Expense)

    Hi,
I have few credit card transaction records in i-expense .
these records are not required by customer and he want to delete these data.
is there any API available for deletion of these records or any work arround.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ajit

Not aware of any supported methods to delete the Credit Card transactions. Instead you could run the "Credit Card Historical Transactions Management" program with a value for the parameter Process set as "Deactivate Transactions" for a range of posted dates, for a specific card number. This will remove the transactions from the available list of transactions for the user

  • Debit & Credit sub-transaction for billing

    Hi Experts,
Pls let me the path in ISU to create the followings and what it is importance.
    1) Debit sub-transaction for billing
    2) Credit sub-transaction for billing
    3) debit budget billing sub-transaction
    4) Credit sub-transaction for billing
    Thanks in advance.

    hi,
let me first try to explain what these 4 mean
    1) Debit sub-transaction for billing
    2) Credit sub-transaction for billing
mentioned in the rate their usage in the final amount depends on whether they are credit or debit(+/-),
If the net amount is positive (receivable), the billing line item is posted with the debit sub-transaction.
If the net amount is negative (credit), the billing line item is posted with the credit sub-transaction.
The billing sub-transactions determine which taxes are levied for the billing line item. In the rate, the only combinations of debit and credit billing sub-transactions that are allowed are those that lead to the same tax for credit and receivables.
    3) debit budget billing sub-transaction
    4) Credit budget sub-transaction for billing
budget billing calculation can also occur on quantity. so billing is simulated for the contract in the budget billing period.
The budget billing sub-transactions from the rate step are allocated to these budget billing line items:
If the net budget billing amount is positive, the billing line item is posted with the debit budget billing sub-transaction.
If the net budget billing amount is negative, the billing line item is posted with the credit budget billing sub-transaction.
The budget billing sub-transactions are only for account determination. The tax determination is also determined from the budget billing line items via the billing sub-transactions.
    and now for the paths
img->financial accounting->Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable->Basic Functions->Posting and Documents->Document->define account assignments for automatic posting
and to define new sub transactions
    img->financial accounting->Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable->Basic Functions->Posting and Documents->Document->maintain document assignements->
    hope this helps.
    regards,
    Rakesh..
