Transcation code to create Organizational Unit, jobs, and tasks

Hello,
Could some one please tell me the transaction code to create an Organization Unit? If you know the code to create other things (tasks, jobs, assignments) then please let me know those as well... Thank you so much for those who can help!

You can use PP01 (that's zero - one), to create any org object. Just select the object (org unit, position, task, etc...) and hit create.
Also, you can use the following:
PO03 - Jobs
PO10 - Org Units
PO14 - Tasks

If I understand you correctly, you want to create a PROGRAM to create an Organization Unit (IT1000) and it's relation to it's parent Org.Unit (IT1001 with relation A_002).
Check out program RHCOPY00, and create a Z version adapted to your needs.

Actions for Org.Units, Jobs and Positions

Dear All,
I know how to create or copy the available actions for Org Units , Jobs and positions thro' the table T777M and run them through PP03.
Once I do it , when I want to skip some of the relationships it doesnt allow me to , the next page tab is grayed out.
I mean if we have for ex. a position reporting to a position and because he is, say CEO and I want to skip that relationship I am unable to , how to activate the skip or Next page tab ??

Goto table T77IV click on maintain, Click on New Entries >> Enter the subgroup ( PVOB) PV - Plan Verson and OB is for Object you want to maintain the number ranges for eg : 01C for Job. >> Enter and save the record...
It will take u to the next screen >> Click on maintain intervals >> Click on Add Intervals >> New screen will appear ... enter the details as below :
NO From Number To Number Remarks
01 1 19999999 This is Object range
Note : do not enter anything in "Current Number" & Do not select "Ext"

Hi,
For organizational objects maintain number ranges via OONR.
e.g. In order to maintain number range for C - Job object in plan version 01 add the following line to OONR:
01C IN EX
Then select this line and hit "Number range maintenance"
There create the interval you want.
(EX 60000000 69999999)
For PA, EG there is no number range maintained.

Creating a new job and position prompts customizing request...

Dear All,
        I created a Job and Position through PP01 transaction. I am facing 2 issues while doing so...
1. System prompts for Customizing request when i try to save the new entry.
    What table/settings do i need to maintain for turning of the customizing request promptings.
2. Once i save the entries(after entering some dummy customizing requests), when i check the
    HRP1000 table for the new jobs and positions... The table entry shows 2 records for each Job and
    position. One entry with Plan version '.:' and another with active Plan version '1'.
    I need to have just one entry in HRP1000 table for each job/position with ACTIVE plan version.
   I checked T77S0 table, it has active plan version maintained against the PLOGI-PLOGI entry.
   Please let me know what table i need to maintain to handle my requirement.

Hi Nanda,
When you create new job or position in sandbox system it will not ask for the request number,since you generally dont transport the objects from sandbox to test system.
When you create a new job or position in development system, it will always ask for request number. This is because, in most of the cases, you need to transport the job and position to test system and then to production system.
Without a customizing request you wont be able to transport those changes to next system.

1) Any body can tell me how to create the Operating unit, department and division in PP01 transaction.
2) How to move one department to another operating unit and etc.
3) is ther any std report/ FM exists to get affected employees(I mean when i move one department to another operating unit (Y) i need employees who comes under this

Jobs and Tasks for Automation of load data in Essbase ASO Cube

Hi, all people,
my question is about creating jobs or tasks for automation loading data in essbase cubes.
I use .bat file witch run MaxL script for loading data form oracle database into an essbase cube. For running .bat file is made a Windows Task.
Is there any other opportunities to run .bat file not using windows tasks? Maybe there is special utilities in Oracle EPM Systems or any other.....
I am using essbase version 11.1.1.2.0.

There is no internal scheduler.You either have to use Windows Scheduler, Unix Cron or a third party tool. Take a look at Star Analytics Command center, it is designed specifically for Hyperion applications http://www.staranalytics.com/products/command_center.htm

Number range for Org.Units, Jobs and position

Hi,
Can someone guide me on how to create number range for Org. Units from say 10000000 (My org unit series should start with 1xxxxxxx), Jobs 20000000 and Positions from 30000000. Step by step would be helpful.

The question about configuration Organization Unit on spro

I want to configuration Organization Unit on spro so I have created O.Units, Jobs and positions on Personnel Administration->Organizational Assignment->Organizational Plan but I can't see these values about O.Unit, job and position on SAP Access Easy .
How to see these values on SAP Access Easy ?
Can I input these values about O.Units, Jobs and positions on spro ?

instead of that
Define the Number ranges
in OOCR
for all the objects
Make a Template for Objects and Object Id
and upload the same thru PP01
than all the enties will sit in the SPRO
>note it is not mandatory to create thru SRPO wht in case if u have 4000 to 5000 Employees
So the best way is upload the Data thru LSMW thru Proper objects and Relatioships

Organization Unit and assignment plan

Hi Experts,
I am using function module RH_OBJECT_CREATE to create Organization Unit and now I want to do assignment plan for the created Org units.
I am using function module RH_RELATION_WRITE for the assigment plan. But could not able to do the assignment.
Can some one please let me know what other function module I can use to do the assignment plan?

You can try by calling the function Fodule
'RH_UPDATE_DATABASE' immediately after RH_OBJECT_CREATE and RH_RELATION_MAINTAIN.

now tDS rate is change , so i would like to know How many new tax type and Tax Code is created in our system
and also like to know At what percentage i will crete that new tax code.

Creating org unit under group???

We are running SAP CRM 7.0.
I am fairly new to SAP and CRM in general.
I was trying to create a BP (Business Partner). I would of thought a group entailed a major division such as say "FORD MOTOR COMPANY" and within that all the organzations for FORD such as all the sites imagine the following:
FORD MOTOR COMPANY
   - FORD DETROIT
   - FORD LOS ANGELES
Etc.
However when I create a "Group" in transaction BP and save it I can see this as a group. Now when I create an "Organization" how do I Relate this organization back to the major group? I see a groupping drop down in transaction BP but that does not list the Group Ford that I just created. How can I Relate this organization to the group?
Finally my second question is can we create a group within another group say something to this effect:
FORD MOTOR COMPANY (Group Level 1)
   - FORD AMERICA (Group Level 2)
        -Ford Detroit (org unit)
        -Ford California (org unit)
   -FORD GERMANY (Group Level 2)
        -Ford Bremen
   -FORD BRAZIL (Group Level 2)
        -Ford Rio De Janerio
How can I establish this structure if I cannot relate these? Please I am new to CRM so if you can provide detailed information...

Functional units are reprseneted in OM.Please check allowed relationship per object type.tcode OOIT..Org units and Position relationship can be assimilated using this.
please check T778T,T777E(Table T777E contains all the relationships permitted between organizational objects)
Table T7791 contains information about which SAP organizational object types should be linked with positions, which with jobs and which with organizational units.
objects and relationships are building blocks of OM(1000 and 1001)

Can any plz let me know that while creating organization unit in Easy Access screen whether we normally use Expert mode or Simple maintenance mode ?
Is it up to us to decide which mode to use ?

ur at the cliets place if u are useing export mode u need to knwo the org unit no , departent no , job number and u shd relate them
where in simple maintainence i think this much risk will not be there

I have done all steps of LSMW using Transaction code PO10 to create Organizational Unit.Even after doing these steps I have not got Organizational Unit so there is some problem or mistake.
If anybody is having a file of LSMW-Org.unit showing step by step(Specific for Organizational Unit,How to do Recording) with screen shots.

The same fields as PO10 will reside in text file for PP02 too.
In the main screen make the following fields constant:
Plan version = 01
Object type = O
Object ID = empty
Infotype = 1000
Planning status = 1
Read the following fields from text file:
Validity period (begin & end)
Object abbreviation
Object Description.
