Transfer Inspection Decision to Batch but with exceptions

Hi
I'm using Transfer Inspection Decision to Batch and it works fine. Now a want to keep on doing that IN BACKGOUND but with exception for one UD Code (or inspection type). How can I do this?
I have copy the FM QACL_USAGE_DECISION_CODE (into Z_QACL_USAGE_DECISION_CODE ) and maked the exception but i cant trigger the new FM without change the SAP standard charactertic "LOBM_UDCODE". I have done a copy of the charactertici into "Z_LOBM_UDCODE" and add it into a klass and added the klass to the material. The results is that al the UD codes are only transferd toi the batch master with the standard functions and charactertic.
As I see it I can not use function in qa11 "block for batch record" as a background function.
What to do?

Dear,
For Z_LOBM_UDCODE characteristics, indicator migt be 'No entry can be made' is set in the characteristic master. As a result, these characteristics cannot be valuated.
After that try the function module QACL_USAGE_DECISION_CODE

Thats is the only way i also think.
Well on the techinical side i think if employee is in long absence in the program itself if condition is maintained like it should check first employee's time infotypes and according to the requirement let criteria is 20 days continous absent or 7 days continous absent then it should skip the upadation of it 8 otherwise update it.
Now those who are not selected keep a record of all those in other file and update it by same program with conditions.
less manual intervention is needed in this case but more program cost.

Recurring inspection for a batch with early date

Dear Gurus,
I have a batch with retest date 31.07.2010
I need to create the inspection lot of recurring inspection for this batch today.
I use transaction QA07, but this will not work for days earlier than today.
I tried to create the lot manually, the lot was created but the quantity was not transferred to the Quality inspection and remained unrestricted.
I need to create the lot and transfer the quantity to quality inspection....how can I handle this case?

Well, nothing is unacceptable. It's just that it needs a lot of documentation. You don't change the date and leave it. You change the date, manually run QA07 to create the 09 inspection and immediately change the date back again. With proper documentation and approval from the QA department this shouldn't be an issue. I am assuming this is a one time thing. It's not like you are advocating a new business process.
The batch record should already be self documenting already and show a record of all changes. While the FDA would frown on this being a regular business practice, if it is something that happens once and the proper paperwork is done. It shouldn't be an issue. It would however cause an auditor to probably ask what caused this in the first place, what was the corrective action applied to prevent it from happening again, how many times has this happened and is it expected to happen in the future. If all of that can be answered, there shouldn't be any issue.

Hello,
for sorting batch codes by GR time sort from high to low after finding the codes from the date(s) you want (since the batch codes are created in numeric order the lower number will be the older batch codes)

Have her go to Settings>Cellular and make sure Cellular Data is turned to On. If she's having trouble with regular sms messages, check her carrier to be sure her messaging plan is properly provisioned.

It is 2015 and iTunes still wants to tell me what to listen to. This problem still persists. The only solution I have found is to select "Manual ..." and pick one by one the items to sync.
When I select items to sync by artist or genre they do copy to the device. Then iTunes continues randomly selecting music until the device is full. When I want to load the Nano for a road trip I don't want 20% of the tracks to be Chakra meditation. When little Nano is docked on the nightstand alarm clock I DON'T want to hear Motorhead, Ministry, etc.
For all the effort aPple puts into seamless integration and ease of use ... Why the heck is it so hard to say NO? Sync these tracks and NOT those. Stop asking me to log in to your cloud service BTW. I do not want it.

Process Order creates Multiple Inspection for Same Batch

Hi Guys,
Expert opinion is needed to have this issue fixed.
Issue:When a new Process Order is created it automatically creates in storage location A. There are times when a process order needs to be created into another storage location B. When the Process Order is created and then is changed from A to B it will create two inspection lots for one batch, one for each storage location. From the plant perspective they only need one Inspection lot as they will not create two set of samples for testing since it is the same batch it just went into a different storage location then it was originally created for. Is there a way to change SAP so that it only creates one Inspection lot per batch.

We had different scenarios with same Batch
SCENARIO #1: Sloc is changed to B prior to Release, in CRTD status of order Sloc was A
So there are 2 Insp. Lot created one for A & another for B after GR in Sloc B
SCENARIO #2: Sloc is changed to B after Release
IL is created after Release of order with Sloc A, after changing Sloc B in process order and performing GR, new IL is created for Sloc B
Business scenario is certain times of the year where one creates a PO with one Sloc and then it needs to be GR into a different Sloc.
They are generating a lot of IL’s that are not used and it seems like every year they need to get UD’s made on IL’s for finance to close out the year which is cumbersome.
Please suggest way out, objective is one process should have one IL per Batch irrespective of Sloc

There are several things that come to mind.
First and foremost, get the planning right so that the process orders are created properly the first time around. This is a business issue. Yes.. I don't know your business.. no, you really aren't all that different then the thousands of other businesses using SAP. The root cause of this is you don't know what is going where when you order it or in the case of process orders, where you intend to make it or store it. That's a basic planning problem.
2 - you must have early lot creation turned on, "Y". You can't be using "X". X would only create an 04 lot when you do the GR so if you change the storage location prior to the Process order being released I'm not sure how you are generating two lots. Are you sure all the lots in question are 04 lots? Are you maybe seeing an 03 lot? Or possibly an 08 lot? Something doesn't sound right here.
3 - If you receive into two storage locations from one process order, you will get two inspection lots. No way around this. There is stock associated with these. You could use customization to suppress the second receipt but that stock would go right to UR with no inspection.
4. Don't change the storage locations in the process orders at all. You can use the stock posting screen in the UD and change the storage location when you make the UD.
5. Another option is to again, don't change the storage location in the PO but use QAC2 transaction to transfer the inspection lot into the proper storage location.
You need to explain your scenarios better cause I really don't see how you are getting the two lots when you make all your changes in the process order prior to releasing the process order. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Sftp batch job with password?

Hi folks.
We're trying to develop scripts to automate the transfer of files from various Windows machines to a Linux server. Because the job involves moving multiple files to multiple directories, I wanted to use sftp's -B batchfile option to transfer the files instead of having to reauthenticate every time we transfer files to a different location. However, the man page says:
Batch mode. Reads commands from a file instead of standard input. Since this mode is intended for scripts, SFTP2 will not try to interact with the user, which means that only passwordless authentication methods will work.
I would love to use keys to get this done but unfortunately, the type of authentication on the server is out of our control and not likely to change (it's straight password). So, is there any way I can do this in batch mode with password authentication? I thought about using scp but, as far as I can tell, it doesn't have great support for delivering multiple local files (in different locations) to multiple remote locations. One would have to re-authenticate for every scp command, right?

Thanks for the recommendation, Endperform, but after reading up on expect and autoexpect, I realized I'd rather not have usernames and passwords hard coded into the script.
After much research, I think I've found a solution. It's a little odd but the Maverick Ant library does exactly what I need it to do. It can actually read an ssh profile, perform multiple transfers without having to re-authenticate and execute multiple remote commands without having to reauthenticate. The native Ant libraries can't do this. There is no sftp Ant task and the scp and sshexec tasks are lacking to say the least.
If anyone else runs into a similar situation, I highly recommend the Maverick tool.

Inspection lot creation during GR with respect to Purchase Order

Here is my Question

Inspection type 01 set in the material master
inspection lot will be created during GR for a Purchase order
from my understanding for every GR a inspection lot will be created
No batch Management
but the requirement is irrespective to GR qty and number of times of GR
we need inspection only one inspection lot
For Instance
There is a PO for 1000 kg no batch management
now i do GR for 100 kg for 10 times with different dates
now i need to have only one inspection lot
not 10 inspection lot for each 100 kg
can any one suggest a solution, please advise my understanding is correct

There is a solution for that .The setting can be done two ways, either in the material master or in the configuration
1) Material Master
MM02> QM View> Inspection Setup> 01> Control Insplot> 'X' An inspection lot for each purchase order item/order item 0r An inspection lot for each material document and material
a) 'X' An inspection lot for each purchase order item/order item
This Means
This setting is limited for use with the inspection lot origins 01 and 04.
An inspection lot is only created during the first goods receipt for each PO item or production order.
b) '1' An inspection lot for each material document and material
If you set this indicator, the system creates only one inspection lot for a material document (in a goods receipt transaction) for each material. This setting is useful, if several purchase orders or partial deliveries are processed for the same material in a goods receipt transaction.
2) You can do this default in the config
SPRO > Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Inspection lot creation > Define Default values for inspection type > 01> Control Insp lot

Batch statement with sql server 2000 driver

I have been using the jdbc bridge and recently upgraded to the sql server 2000 driver. I have some code that was working correctly executing some batch commands. But with the new driver it no longer works. Its throwing errors. Can anyone help? I have tried removing the begin/end statments and that causes a different error to be thrown.

I am trying to get batched with shelf life larger than 370.
We are in ECC6.0 and the note applies to releases up to 4.5. I read the note and also tried it but the characteristic does not take a range; only a numberic value. For => 370 I get an error. The date for SLED calculated for batch determination (from the batch determination analysis for a test) as shown below:

Inspection lot without batch no.

Hi
For 03 inspection type, inspection lot is creating without batch number, while doing UD it is asking for batch number.
Client will give the batch number only at GR. Im unable to clear the lot.
Please advise, how to create a inspection lot without batch number or clear the lot without batch number.
Note: I used freely defined inspection points for 03 lot.

You need to apply SAP Note 146945 - Making usage decision for production lots w/o batch.
Also with the above note, you need to mentain the below setting,
In recipe
Recipe header> Quality Management> Partial lot assign: Partial lot not supported
Select Operation with QM active, go to details> Insp. point completion: Valuation

Forumla Variable with Exception Aggregation

Hello,
I've CKF in BEx, in this CKf there is replacement path Formula variable calculating number of documents.
Formula variable is replacing the value of Document number infoobject.
So definition of CKF is -> Replacement path Formula variable *1
Ckf is restricted to summation with Exception aggregation on Document number.
This implementation is working fine but issue is its taking lot of time in query ,like while checking RSRT olap :data transfer(Event ID) is taking lot of time,majority of the query execution time and counter is going somewhere around 100K.
Do you know is there a way we can implement this count in transformation?

Hi,
Doing SUM in transformation takes a long time as you need to read all the content in target.
So it is better to fine tune the query.
1) Is query running long time for small selections ?
2) Trace the query in RSRT and check where it is taking long time like Data base level , Application level

Addon 9000000X failed with exception; Event type X

Hi SDK experts,
We had a problem with occurrence intermittent, something that we identified with relation on wait of response of event.
The problem is:
My addon need to submit XML files to some webservices. In some cases this files will be send on batches, what causes the response time to events on addon is to much large.
In this cases, when the response time is much large, the B1 overthrow the addon.
In compiled mode the message is not shown. This evidence was achieved on debug time.
The error message is "Addon 90000002 failed with exception; Event type 6"
The paleative solution was implement a thread to release the event. But threads on addons can be a problem.
What the opinions?
We need a solutions. Our addon is a market product for process accounting and fiscal.
