Translation of objects?

HI folks,
Can anybody let me know how does it effect when we translate the objects in dev and transport them to prod.
My requirement is to translate all German descriptions into English. So My question is, lets say i translated an infoobject(keyfigure) description into english and transported the same. So in prod, Does this translation effects on all the relevant dependent objects(I mean Whereever it is used)?

Hi,
Go to se63 and only create there a transport (in Administration) and than in RSA1 click translation button and just select proper object to be translated. I will send this answer in case if somebody has the same problem in the future

How to rotate and translate an object at the same time??

Hi, I have a problem with rotation and translation of an object at the same time. I wrote a behovior class for my object (a cylinder). When some conditions are true the cylinder is added to a robot arm. Then it is translated so that the cylinder would be very close to the arm (looks like the robot is holding it). And now the behavior should also rotate the cylinder because the angle is 0 and it should be 90. I can translate the object or I can rotate the object but when I'm trying to do it at the same time (I want to combine rotation and translation) it doesn't work.
Could anyone help me, please :)

How to translate BI objects - Issue

Dear all,
I am referring to the How to guide mentioned above.
I followed each step in the system and end up with a message "No objects selected".
I have the feeling that other settings have to be made beforehand...
Could you help me or give me an alternative way of translating texts in BI objects?

To be clear, I have followed each step of the known procedures (How to guide and respective notes).
I Always get the same message - not due to authorization problem because I have SAP_ALL.
This is why I think something is missing in the configuration for translating.

Translation of objects at transport request

hi, can any one tell how every object can be translated at transport request based on Object Type and object name is there any way to do like that, its very urgent .

hi, actually the requirement is that our production system would be multi lingual in future they want to change their qs-chech process. Every transport request we transport in to their test-systems must be checked, if all translatable objects are translated.
therefore they want a report, which does this automatically.
so they want to check every object at transport request is transaltable or not?
but we have some 10,000 of objects present i our development system.How can we check all those objects?
this is the senario.

JPublisher: oracle...literal.AttributeMap not translated into object type

I have a problem to get a valid PL/SQL wrapper for the web-service at http://adostest.armstrongconsulting.com/DSX/DocumentServices.asmx?wsdl
I use jpub to generate the web service callout (jar file and pl/sql wrapper) and the generation of that file completes without an error, but if I try to load the pl/sql package into the database it fails, because one of the generated object types has an invalid definition.

Command used to generate files:
jpub -proxywsdl="http://adostest.armstrongconsulting.com/DSX/DocumentServices.asmx?wsdl" -proxyopts=noload -package=ados -plsqlpackage=ADOS_WebServiceBTW, I noticed that the dbwsa.jar contains this class, but the "runtime" classes contained in dbwsclientws.jar which are loaded into the database do not contain this class. If I look into the previous version of the Callout Utility (10.1.3.0) at http://download.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/java/jsp/dbws-callout-utility-10R2.zip it is contained in the dbwsclient.jar which is loaded into the database.
What is wrong or what can I do to get a valid object type mapping?

Yes. We are calling a .NET web service as well.
I got around the problem by the following steps:
1. Forcing JPub to use the jar files that come with JDeveloper 10.1.3.3, rather than dbwsa.jar and dbwsclientws.jar.
2. Upload the JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 web service libraries into the database
3. Manually edit the JPub wrapper code (static methods) generated by JPub. I have to comment out all references to AttributeMap. Not sure why JPub wants to use it...

Translation of non-ABAP objects

Hello colleagues,
I know that SAP provides special Translation Environment for translation of ABAP-objects (TX SE63 etc.). But what about translation of non-ABAP objects? Could be SE63 suitable for this task or it can be performed only via translation xlf files (SAP NW Developer Studion and so on)?

firstly thank you for you reply.
Secondly I know about three main categories of non-ABAP objects but I haven't an information about what is it certainly? So there are at least two questions in my opinion:
1) Could it be suitable to translate Java objects or WebDyn Pro Java objects?
2) If yes, how it can be suitable for it? Because I know how I can translate Java or WebDynpro via NW Developer Studio, but I don't know how it can be possible via SE63.
Really I can't find any helpful information about translation non-ABAP objects via SE63.
Could anyone help me in my questions?

Program to list 'Z' objects to translate

I need to create a program to translate 'Z' objects (domain, text Elements, data elements, tables, reports, etc..) to rollouts to another countries.
I saw table TADIR, contains all Z objetcs created.
I didn't find the table contains the description of all objects.
Please, tell me which tables contains these descriptions.

Rotating and Translating Objects with Collision Modifiers

Hello
Im trying to build a simple 3d scene. The idea being that a
footballer walks up to a football and on detection of that
collision, the football is translated or 'kicked.'
Got the Collision Detection working using Collision
Modifiers. Got it working so that it registers the collisions, what
I havent gotten is how to translate the object (football) I have
used the simple translate command but this seems to work on objects
without collision modifiers.
Does anyone have any work arounds?

Translate Object class (for authorization objects)

I wonder where I can translate the objects class (SU21 - auth objects). I manages to find where I can translate the authorization objects in SE63.
What what is the object type for the objects class in order to translate it.

SAP itself told me there is no way to do so. They recommend to directly edit the corresponding text table.

Translate Business Content BI (BW Objects)

Hi Experts,
I install Business Content for Purchasing Analysis (Info Cube, Info source, transformation and query)
And after thatu2019s I create two custom cube with transformation data flow of business content all work fine, But my customer want the see BW objects in BEX Analyzer and in WEB BEX in FRENSH!!!

Problem translating object, newbie question.

I'm new to java3D, and I'm having problems translating an object. Here's the thing:
I have two different sets of dimensions for creating 2 boxes.
x1 = 100
y 1= 0
z 1= 100.
And
x 2= 50
y 2= 50
z 2= 50.
I divide everything by the maximum dimension (100). So:
x 2= 0.5 x1 = 1
y 2= 0.5 y 1= 0
z 2= 0.5 z 1= 1
So, now I have a box with dimensions (1, 0, 1) = (x1, y1 z1)
And the other one has (0.5, 0.5, 0.5) = (x2, y2, z2)
Here is what I want to do:
I want to put the second box on top of the first one. In order to do this I create a Transform3D object and call the set method with: new Vector3f(0, (x1+x2) /2, 0)
I thought that would work, but I end up seeing the second box half way or being on top of the first one.

How to manipulate a javascript object in java?

Hi, I am fiddling with the java scripting interface. As I understand the rhino engine is packaged with the jdk but what I don't understand is how does one reconcile the objects one gets from their engine (e.g. sun.org.mozilla.javascript.internal.ScriptableObject) versus the ones in the rhino api (e.g. org.mozilla.javascript.ScriptableObject)?
Is the one in the jdk heavily modified or wrappered up to suit their javax.scripting interface?
More specifically, how do I manipulate javascript objects from java?
e.g. suppose I have this java code:

ScriptEngine js = mgr.getEngineByName("js");
jsEngine.eval("var foo = { x : 1, y : 'hello', z : false };");
Object o = jsEngine.get("foo");Now o is instanceof sun.org.mozilla.javascript.internal.NativeObject, which is a subclass of a bunch of other classes in the s.o.m.j.i namespace. Being internal I can't use these directly.
Looking at the Rhino API obviously you normally get a org.mozilla.javascript.ScriptableObject and can call the .get() .getIds() methods. But I don't know how to translate the objects I am getting in my actual java code which uses the jdk engine into org.mozilla.javascript objects.
Is this even possible? Am I misunderstanding something completely? Should I just be using the rhino js jar and not the javax.scripting interface? If so, for what reason is the javax.scripting interface implemented?

Assuming that you DO want a deep copy, begin with a constructor that takes another hand.
public Hand( Hand h ) { ...Then for each instance variable, within that constructor:
this.instVar0 = h.instVar0;
this.instVar1 = h.instVar1;
. . .And last, for every reference, make sure there is a constructor (or copy method for arrays) that itself makes a deep copy:
this.ref0 = new Ref0Type( h.ref0 );

How to translate field names in SAP R/3 (SE63)?

Hi gurus,
I actually have an unsolved with my translation job in SAP R/3. It's urgent and I just can't find a solution for that:
I'm using the translation menu with transaction SE63.
Though I have translated the object types domain (DOM), data elements (DTEL) and table descriptions (TABT), I get no translated field name (e.g. in selection screens for summary tables).
Which object type do I have to translate? Or is there another SAP transaction or a table where I can translate the field names?

WebAs Support Package 25 converts the SAP translation environment (SE63) to a Unicode-enabled version for short text translation. This conversion requires some system adjustments before translation can continue.
If you never translated in your system before Support Package 25 was imported, you can simply ignore this note because your system does not contain any translation data that needs converting.
Please download the current documentation attached to this note:
Choose file UC-SE63_DE.PDF or UC-SE63_EN.PDF if you want to read the end user documentation.
Choose file UC-TransAdmin-DE.PDF or UC-TransAdmin-EN.PDF if you want to learn more about translation system setup and coordination.
