Trouble debugging plug-in sample from sdk.

So after I have cleaned and build Basicmenu project from I build\win\prj folder I'm getting with errors. It is saying that unable to start program etc. Well that's understandable because how VS 2012 is suppose to know how to open pln file with InDesign, and its not giving me option to choose executable to open with. PDF document "getting started..." is saying this should happen when you debug but it's not. Anyway, I moved plug-in to plug-in folder inside the InDesign folder. Now when InDesign starts it is saying "Adobe InDesign does not recognize basicmenu.sdk.pln as a valid plu-ing. Please reinstall the basicmenu.sdk.pln plug-in and restart InDesing."
I really need to get this work, so do anyone have any clues where to go next?

Adobe's Flex Automation Plug-in for QuickTest Professional 4.5
IE 9.0
Windows 7
Flex Application was using Flex SDK 3.0
Flex Application now using Flex SDK 4.5
We were testing a Flex application that was compiled using Flex SDK 3.0. When QTP spied on the column header contained in a FlexDataGrid, the column header was identified as a FlexListLabel object and the automationname property contained a string made up of the column names.
Example: automationname="[Exception Date] | [*Securities*]"
where 'Exception Date' and 'Securities' are the column names in the grid.
FLEX SDK 3.0:
We have another build of the same Flex application, in our test environment, that is using SDK 4.5.
In this build, the automationname of the column header no longer contains the column names, instead it contains the data in the first row of the grid. I have made sure, that I am spying on a column name.
FLEX SDK 4.5:
No changes were made to the code of the Flex application, we only moved from SDK 3 to SDK 4.5
We have custom functions that verify and input data into FlexDataGrids based on the columns. These functions made use of the fact that column names were contained in the automationname property of the first FlexListLabel within the FlexDataGrid.
Sample QTP Script Used in Function:

ColHeaders = objGrid.FlexListLabel("micclass:=FlexListLabel", "index:=0").GetROProperty ("automationname")
arryColNames = Split(ColHeaders, "|")
Has anyone else come across this issue? Any suggestions on what to try on the QTP side or on our Develeoper's side to allow for the column header to be identified again by QTP?

WD Java Remote Debug problem: Release Process from debugging

Hi Community,
when I used to debug Web Dynpro Java from the SAP Developer Studio (eclipse) to a remote host (Portal AS NW Java), it works fine for the first run. After disconnecting the remote debug session (server0), I changed the coding and try to debug again with the effect that the old coding is still used from the server process (server0) even though the parameter "Create and Deploy archive" is set (enabled) in the debug configuration. Furthermore the funktionality of "Relase process from debugging" option in the J2EE Engine dosn't react / work.
I think that the debug session is still running and the Developer Studio is not able to send any "Kill" statement to the server process for ending this session.
I tried following:
A. Rebuild Project and Deploy the archive on the "normal" way
B. Reopen the Developer Studio itself
C. Start the Project in debugmode again and chose the option "Terminate All"
...all without any success.
The only way is to restart the whole server process server0 again with the same trouble after the first debug.
Did any of you have a clue or experience to clear or kill the debugsession from the process so that next debugsessions can be started, please reply.

Why is did two JRE's load from SDK?

I've just set up the SDK 1.3.1 and have found the the JRE files have been loaded in 2 places, one under the c:\JDK1.3.1, the other under C:\Program Files\Javasoft. Are both necessary, or can the Javasoft copy be safely deleted.
Also in the Control Panel Java setting what is the "Default" plug-in location?

First JRE is for launching tools from SDK, second is
JRE for java.exe elsewhere.I must admit that I do not understand the response. Why could not one single JRE be used for both purposes cited above? In fact I have just deleted the directory under "Program Files/Java" from my machine and redirected the registry entries referring to it to under "/j2sde1.4.1/jre/". At least to this moment I do not experience problems (perhaps it will still come).

How to route single samples from NI Battery to individual tracks?

I am wanting to route the odd sample from within battery to its own individual out so i can apply effects to it, without effecting other samples within battery.
Is this possible ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open battery on instrument1 as a multi-cannel plug.
Set up battery to send each sample to a different output or output pair (3 or 3-4) Maybe even check out the manuals output section to be sure you understand how NI deal with this.
If you look in logics environment window in the "audio" layer there should be a few aux objects in the default song. if you click hold on the plug-in field for one of the auxes you should see something like "instrument1/battery 3-4" this will setup the aux to recieve the seperated output from battery.
do a search on this forum for "multi-channel" and ultrabeat. its been brought up quite a lot. Ubeat and the exs can both do this aswell..

Now that iOS 5 has come out, all iPad 2's come with iOS 5 pre-installed (unless you find old stock sitting at a retailer somewhere). iOS 5 has a built-in setup assistant for AirPort base stations (such as AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and Time Capsule). First you plug in your AirPort Express to power, and plug its Ethernet into your broadband (Cable or DSL or whatever) modem/router's LAN port. Then in iOS 5, you go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and your AirPort Express will show up in a separate list as a base station that has not been set up. Select it there, and iOS will look at your environment and guess how you want it set up. It usually guesses right. If it guesses right for your needs, you hit the button and it sets it up that way. If it guessed wrong, you hit "More Choices" and select an alternative setup method.
After you've done the initial setup that way, if you later decide you want to tweak the settings, you can download the free AirPort Utility for iOS 5, from the App Store.
Kappy made a small mistake when he said you can use the AirPort Utility app for iOS to set up the AirPort Express. You actually have to do the initial setup right form the AirPort Assistant built right into iOS 5 as I described above. The AirPort Utility app for iOS is where you make changes later, not where you do the initial setup. But yes, you can do all of this setup right from the iPad now, as of iOS 5. No Mac or PC required.

just the audio, eh?. If you were using DVI or DisplayPort that might be different, but for audio alone, it shouldn't be that hard. Just grab a 3.5 mm stereo plug to 2 rca cables adapter. Plug the smaller end into the back of your Mac Pro (or the Front), where you see either the headphone or speaker icon). Alt-click on the speaker icon at the top of your screen to show all audio inputs and outputs. Make sure it's set to Line Out. Plug the red and white end into the audio in jacks on the back of your tv and set it to the correct input. I don't know if your tv will allow just the audio to play. Usually one has to connect up something else, but hopefully I'm wrong. If you were using DVI, or DisplayPort, you'd need an active DVI--HDMI adapter or a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, but

Run SBO report directly from SDK

Hi, is there a way to run an SBO report (for example Service Contracts) directly from SDK? The report should be given the necessary parameters too.
I know that i can call Service Contracts form, simulate a query to find the appropriate record and then simulate a click on print preview button. This way it will undoubtedly work.
But I would prefer opening the print preview directly, without the need of opening another form, that slows down the whole process. Is there a way to do this?

There is currently not an object via the SDK to directly run a report. You would have to use the work around that you mentioned.

which plug-in do you want to install?
some of the plug-ins come with an installer on the disk image, you click the installer and it will install it in its proper location.
For others you move the plug-in into to System Library or your User Library:
Your Hard disk > Library > Application Support >Aperture > Plug-Ins > Edit
or
Your Home Folder > Library > Application Support >Aperture > Plug-Ins > Edit
If it is an "Edit" plug-in, it goes into the "Edit" subfolder, "Export" plug-ins into the "Export" subfolder.
You can tell by the extension, what kind of plug-in it is.
E.G. BorderFX.ApertureExport is an export plug-in, BorderFXEditPlugin.ApertureEdit an edit plug-in.

IS IT A SIMPLE CASE OF A 'SCSI TO USB LEAD' , WILL MY MAC BOOK PICK IT UP FROM THERE OR DO I NEED SOFTWARE OR DRIVERS FOR MY MAC TO BE ABLE TO SEE THEM?

Sorry for the delay in coming back. I bought a zip drive pretty cheaply then and it has only just turned up. However when I put my old ZIP disks in, it seems like the ZIP drive reads them at least but the MACBOOK comes up with the following message...
'The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer'
Does this pretty much mean a no go then? Or can I put the samples from my AKAI sampler back through the old ZIP drive, reformat some new disks in a certain way on that drive so that my MAC can read them?
All its for really is mainly to take old tracks that used these samples and getting them set up in my mac. Also there was some good bits and pieces there anyway and would like to keep using those samples for newer projects. I could of coourse resample them from the AKAI straight to the MAC but would be not as practical and would take alot longer. The 13'' macbook pros input is not digital, only its output.
