Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

whenever i charge my ipod 5th generation,i find myself moving the charger around for about 5minutes,the first few months the charger has worked fine now it is playing up,turning on and off charge?
I would make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out. The warranty covers manufacturer's defects. Unfortuantely, if you inadvertantly cause some damage in your wiggling, it could be determined that you broke the port - regardless if it was malfunctioning before or not. Have them look at it and see what they say.

My Ipod classic stopped suddenly while playing on the dock. On checking it said connect to iTunes to restore and the battery had also exhausted itself. On connecting to iTunes it kept displaying the message Do Not Disconnect but showed the battery getting charged. Sometime later it said OK TO DISCONNECT. It never worked after that. My iPad won't let me sign into my Apple ID when I try and download an app it asks for my id and password and when i type it in the iPad displays a message saying cannot connect to iTunes Store. However when i do this on my phone it works perfectly. Even when i sign in and out.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so how can I fix this?Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -

Would like to move iPod touch files to my new Windows 8 computer -- read on how to do this, but this involves being able to see the hidden fiels -- but can not see hidden files...any suggestions. There is no way to do so without software. I recently had a similiar task and was suggested to use iExplorer. It worked like a charm.

You can download both at the same time.
But you may wish to start off with one and use it full time, then download the other later, so you get the maximum possible time with both.

About two days ago my shuffle started to send me an error message that it cannot connect with iTunes because it's not formated properly.
