TS1398 My ipod touch wont remember my wifi password. Any help?

Ihave a new ipod touch with the latest software and it will not remember my wifi password. I have to reconnect and renter the password everyday when I come home. My router is a Linksys using WPA2-Personal security with AES encryption. I searched the net but usualy answers are only for iphone or ipad. I saw one that said to reset network settings but that didnt work for me. Any advice?

I have powered on and off a few times and I did try what ipad and iphone suggestions were applicable but no luck. I was thinking that it was because the router security was changing things to keep unauthorized people out but my laptop never has an issue. I did change the password to an easy one so I could at least enter it everytime alot easier than the long digit one I originally had but it would be nice to have it work correctly....

You do have it turned on ins settings>Privacy, right?
For location the iPod uses the location of nearby wifi routers that are in Apple's database. You do not have to be connected to the network/router to use that router's location. Thus, it appears that the iPod can't see a nearby router that is in Apple's database. Apple continuously updated their database based on info they obtain from iPhones. No one has been able to find a way to inform Apple of a router or correct is location.
You can confirm that by going to place with a know located router like Starbucks or McDonalds

You need to restore the iPod on the new computer. You can only sync apps (and some other stuff) from different computers/libraries but you can manage music and some other stuff among different computers/libraries.
You need to restore you iPod and see the following regarding the pairing error message.

My ipod won't connect to my wifi unless I'm about 5-10 feet away from the router. Is this normal with the 1st gen ipod touches? I can't use a lot of apps because I need an internet connection to use them.

i have an iPod touch 5 on ios 8.1 which i sync very often with my compute which runs windows 8.1 rand i turned on iTunes wi-fi sync feature but when i go to settings>general>iTunes wi-fi Sync and then select my pc on the list it says that it'll sync when my com puter is available but i have my computer turned on and itunes running and connected to the same wi-fi network. how do I fix this problem.

HT1212 ipod touch wont reset after forgetting password, wont recognize device

I am trying to fix a friends Ipod after her daughter forgot the password. I have tried everything I saw online where to get it in recovery mode, etc and nothing works. It wont recognize it, it wont restore it, it wont do anything.
Anybody have any ideas to erase everything and start from scratch this is frustrating.

Hello - I received an ipod touch for christmas and have been enjoying it tons! I’m having a “duh” moment…can you please help. How do I move the icons around from page to page? I was able to get it to work once - but don’t know how I did it and now can’t figure it out any more.
Two other questions… 1) when I downloaded a music video from itunes, it was saved under the “video” folder - well, it would not let me play it. An error would appear saying that it is unable to play the video. Then, the “graphic” beside the video, was of the cover of another movie I had purchased???
2) My music had been playing just fine. I had been downloading cd’s onto my ipod (thru itunes) on a computer at home, then I came into the office (because I do not have internet at home) and purchased songs via itunes store and ever since then, when I try to play music it scrolls really fast through the song titles and arrow flashes in the top right corner and there is not any sound. Sometimes it will also display a frame of one of the movies I have saved while doing this as well - but will not play any music and freezes.

Touch and hold your finger on one of the application icons. When they start dancing you can drag the icons where you want them. To get them to another page, drag them right or left to the edge of the page and the page will change.
