TS1702 Apple, Gimme the App!

Just bought a Macbook Air today (May 5th 2012). I have been spending all evening getting used to this new system (I was using a 2008 MacBook Pro with 10.5.8 before this). I have not transferred anything over from my old Mac to the new onle.
I've bought a few apps from the Store without issue on OS X Lion (10.7.3), using my PayPal. I'm very new with this "app" business though, so I may be missing something key with how to buy them.
I've been trying to buy the Keynote app (had the HORRID Office '08 on my old Mac so I wanted to try the new iWork software). I bought Pages so far, no problem. I'm also going to try and get Numbers.
However, each time it asks for account verification, which I provide (why every time I try and buy something? Haven't I just logged in?) and then click to buy, I get an error message (100), that the purchase cannot be processed and that I need to contact iTunes support. Initially, it told me that "credit card purchases cannot be processed at this time, try to buy later, continue to browse the App Store, etc."
Suggestions? Thanks.

Lots of people are doing this. Can you surf the web on your intranet? You should be able to buy then. You may need to open some ports on your intranet to allow the app store app.

Thanks for your suggestion. I searched, found Protopage and am really liking it. I don't mind paying their subscription fee to banish ads and help them keep the project going. Funny thing is, I used to think one of these days igoogle would start charging me and, because I was so dependent on it, I'd pay. It never occurred to me that it would go away, just that I would find it expensive.

TS1702 How do I report a "bad" app product to Apple? The App developer has failed to address the problem and keeps on selling a product which does not work. Surely Apple has some liability in this case or at the very least some responsibility.

How do I report an App that is not working and the seller has not fixed the problem yet is continuing to sell it? People are being ripped off and Apple does not seem to care.

I need to switch the apple ID the app store is asking for, but it is grey and I can't click it.

I want to update an app on the App Store on my brand new MacBook Air, but unfortunately it is asking me to sign in to my old Apple ID.
I do have the password for it, but I don't want to use it anymore, that's why I changed to a new one. everything else on the computer seems to ask for my new Apple ID except when updating an App at the App Store.
I press "Update" and it makes a pop up asking me for my old Apple ID pass. But I cannot click the Apple ID to change it. I can only attempt the password of my old account.
If I go to the "Store" tab beside "Edit" and "Window", I can sign in and out of my new Apple ID just fine, but it has no effect on the issue.
Thats about all the info I can think to give, any suggestions?

Contact the app's developer. Apple does not provide support for apps purchased from the iTunes Store except the ones they provide like iWork apps.

Try deleting it and reinstalling it.
you can also try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds or so until it reboots and see if that helps.

Why does apple let the app whisper use my udid i thought it banned apps from doing so

I don't believe the UDID is protected in any way but I'm guessing they actually banned your IMEI.

Hello there! You can contact Verietas Support at [email protected] The most usual error for gmail is that user name is NOT the full email address. You just want to enter the stuff BEFORE "@gmail.com". Good luck!

Does anybody know how often apple updates their stor, I am waiting for an update to my favorite app to be released

New apps are added daily for the most part. When a developer submits an update, the update is reviewed. Depending on the number of apps for review, I have heard it can be a couple of days to a couple of weeks for updates to be made available. Your app's developer should know the approximate release date (or at least when they submitted the update.).
