TS1702 Unable to purchase in-app products

So I just got me a Mini 16GB Black B Ipad, and I've gone through the set up. I've logged out, turned it off, turned it back on and logged in, I've even followed some of the go to restrictions make code etc and still nothing. It comes up with """ Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed, For information go to www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/ """ But I can't find anything on there that tells me why it can't go ahead with the purchase. Does this to more than one app.

    My Ipad was working fine, i was able to make in app purchases etc. My grandson was visiting and wanted to play minecraft, so put his apple ID in so he could download hos content to my ipad, played his game for the visit, then deleted all details of his itunes acount when he left. He at no point downloaded anythng esle but minecraft.
    Now however, when i try and make in app purchases on my account with apps downloaded with my own ID I get the following
    "Unable to Purchase. This item is for an app that was purchased by a different apple ID. To buy this item with this apple ID you must first purchase the app".
    I have purchesed the app. I really dont fancy starting agian. As I said ipad was fine until we did this minecraft thing.
    Any suggestions??

    The message would indicate the the app was not purchased with that account.
    You can try:
    - Go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and sign out
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost       
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to itunes and App Store and sign in
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

    I am having the same issues with both my iPad 1 and my iPhone 4S.  It hangs saying "waiting" for sometimes hours or even over night.  But just now it took 20mins to update 5 items on my iPhone but currently racking up 1 hour on my ipad1.  Been having this issue since Sunday also.

    For the last three days whenever I try to either update a previously purchased app or purchase a new one I get the error message:
    Unable to purchase please try again at a later time.
    This is on an iPhone 4 which has been upgraded to iOS 6 and is a 'Verizon iPhone.
    The phone is set up to only attempt app downloads when on WiFi.
    I have tried opening and closing the app store app and restarting the iPhone - so far no help. I have alos logged out of itunes and logged back in. again no help.

    It occurred to me that I needed to go back over everything I had done with the phone for the past few days. I remembered deciding to give the new podcast app a try. I selected several podcasts I wanted to listen to and even subscribe to. I started the download process but it would seem to complete and then require restarting.
    I opened the podcast app, and deleted everything I had added and turned of ll subscriptions. After that there were no further problems with the App Store. I would guess that the podcast app was somehow bumping the connection to itunes so that the App Store couldn't connect.

    All the apps state they are compatible w/ my model iPod Touch.  No restrictions are set that would prevent syncing.  Seems like I might have had a similar problem a while back with one app but can't recall the solution -- it was something simple.

  • Crash when user attempts to purchase in-app product

    hi all,
    I didn't use to get any crash reports before introducing in-app purchase. I have approx. 30 downloads a day and 5 crashes a day now which doesn't sound right.
    Please could you help me find out why this is?
    Here is the crash info. It seems like something goes wrong when the user presses the 'Buy Product button' and it looks like it's got something to do with the async/awaiting business. I'm very new to this and don't really understand.

    I can suggest to use the following strategy.
    Define listing outside the Button_Click event
    private ListingInformation listing = null;
    and try to load the listing information before the user can tap on the button and you can enable the button after the listing has been loaded. For example, in the Loaded event of your page you can:

    Mail is starting up all by itself. It's shut down at night, but then in the morning, it's started up again. It's a problem because then email can't be checked online if it's being downloaded to the computer. Anyone else seen this?
