TS2446 I have an itunes account that has lost it's association with my email address, password or birthdate doesn't work. How do I fix this?

My email address is no longer associated with my itunes account/MacID. I think this happened when I created an account for my new iphone and used the same email address. Now I've forgotten my password and can't seem to reset it. When I tell it to send me a new password via email it never shows up. When I try to do it by answering questions it doesn't accept my answers.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

You can't transfer a balance (nor its purchases) to another account. Do you have any of its purchases on your computer's iTunes library ? If you do then selecting it and doing 'get-info' (control-I) should tell you the account id on the Summary tab on the popup.

As lllaass said, change your password. Go to http://appleid.apple.com, click Manage Account, click Password & Security.

After I installed firefox four a pop up dialog box started showing imediatley and clicking OK made it dissappear and return a split second later, over and over again. I typed in my eamil address to contact firefox about it in the dialog box for that but clicking the send button didn't send the message. If you still have your old card listed on your account then try selecting the 'none' option and remove it and then try entering the card's details from scratch. If that doesn't work then what is the full error message that you are getting, and the card is registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing) that you have on your iTunes account ?

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

You don't mention anything about the music files on your computer that were used to copy into iTunes. If you have moved those files to a different location on you PC you will get that error message from iTunes. This is because iTunes will look for the music files in the original location that they came from on your PC when they were copied. If this is the case you have to tell iTunes to look in the new location for the music files or move the music files back to the original location.

the last version of Mac OS X which supported running PowerPC apps on Intel Macs was Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). If you intend to keep using iCloud on your iPad, your best course of action would be to update your Apple ID/iCloud information so that you have a known password and it is associated with an active email address. You may find the following articles helpful:
