Sounds like someone ripped the movie off of YouTube and it got corrupted in the process. Try getting the movie file again, or try using an alternative movie player such as VLC: http://www.videolan.org

What the best way for STORAGE the documents from DMS?

Please, can someone tell me if the limit of storage the originals through a data carrier is two for document or i can to large this limit? 'Cause i know that using Kpro i don't have limit of storage, but i'm trying to use the data carriers 'cause i just have a place in the company server for storage this originals.
I'm trying to send the originals from a path like this
abcs01\dms$\ through of a configuration "servidor, front ends", but i'm not get to send the originals from CV01N for this place, even the document been save. I verify that the documents were not sent when i enter from the CV02N in the same document and try to change or screen the originals, 'cause i receive a error message saying that the SAP doesn't get to find the originals on the path indicated.
Did someone just work on a likely situation?
Did someone have a view about the best way to storage this documents in this case?
If the best way will be KPRO, Do I use KPRO with the Content Server or KPRO with storage the documents in a SAP table through of the standard system aplication "DMS_C1"?

Hi,
The decision to go for either content server or vault depends on what data will be stored. If you are storing drawing data it is highly recommended to go for content server.
For vault storage performance issues are reported.
DMS_C1 is IDES based BSP database repository. It is useful only for dev/testing.
You will be required to create storage repository for CS.
If you have server available when you insert content server CD inside it, it automatically asks you for maxDB database instance creation. As you click on next it will take you further to create maxDB instance. K-Pro is service on web server. It is used to manage the checkin-checkout and other functionalities of the CS server data.

I copied a pictogram, incolor, from the internet and pasted into a pages document. However, when the document is printed the pictogram prints in
black and white, not color.. How can I print it in color?

What format is the pictogram?
What color mode is the pictogram?
Does it print in color from anywhere else?
Have you tried editing the pictogram in anything else?

How to configure SAP ECC DMS content repository with CRM Services Object

we have SAP Document management system which is currently integrated with SAP R/3 Ecc system .
with ref. to sap standard functionality i am able to upload the document in DMS content repository through SAP R/3 Ecc System as below.
step-1 ,T.code:CV01n
a.     create - DMS Documents
b.     Oupload Scanned documents in DMS system
c.     select content repository
d.     Save Document
now, in same manner i want to store business documents in SAP ECC R/3 DMS content repository using CRM services trnsaction"CRMD_ORDER". kindly guide me suitably.

Bapi or FM to print the document attached in DMS

We have a requirement to print the document in DMS as one of the functionalities of a report.
Is there any BAPI or Function modules that can be used to print the documents checked in using transactions CV01N or CV02N.

We had the same issue. Where we stored PDF's in DMS and we needed to print multiple files in an automated fashion.
We used "CV120_DOC_CHECKOUT_VIEW" to get the document and "CV120_START_APPLICATION" to print.
Note "CV120_START_APPLICATION" uses the front end application to print, so the user needs to have the applicaiton of the original file installed. Also, there can be memory limitations that restrict the number of files that can be printed at any one time.
For example if you are printing 20 originals, you will be opening 20 files on the desktop and printing. You get the picture...

DMS and PO linking to output the documents

I have issue where in the document from DMS is linked with the line item of the Purchase order.
While processing the output for PO the documents linked with the PO should also be sent . Can pleas someone suggest any way out .

This is a common requirement in a project by a client who does not understands the technical things.
This scenarion if you think in depth has technical limitations .
There are various factors that needs to decided before going in for solution.
1. If PO contains 100 line items whether system will be able to send all 100 application files to vendor.
2. If each PO line items has more than one application files in DIR.
3. If each PO line items has Original application files large in size.
This puts limitations on the developement. Because in any organization there are limitation to size of mail( Max 5 mb ). If we consider even 5 line items PO the Mail size would cross 5 mb size.
Now its upto client how he wants the solution ( Tailor made or Open TEXT). If he is ready to invest then "Open Text " solution can be thought. This in turn increases the TCO of the client.
So check with client the detail requirements and convience him not to go for such functionalities. At least I did that and avoided slipage of project cost and timeline.

A picture that was saved in a word document is not showing when I open the document in Pages. Is there a way to recover the image, or a specific type of file that Pages only recognizes?

My professor posted the course syllabus online and at the time, I was using OpenOffice. Whenever I opened the document the image would show perfectly fine, but I switched over to Pages because it had a template I know one of my professors wants a project to be done in. When I opened the same document in Pages to see if it would look the same, the error box popped up and said the image could not be imported and there was a blank box where the picture should have been. My question is, is there any way that I could somehow get the image to show or was it saved in a format that Pages doesn't recognize?

Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Paste it into Pages.
If that doesn't work,
Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Launch Preview. Press command-N (New document from Clipboard). Save the Preview file as a PDF or JPEG, as appropriate. Insert that in Pages.

OpenXML Images added with AddImagePart not showing up in the document

I'm trying to add an image to an existing Word 2010 document using OpenXML SDK 2.5. But when I add the image the image does not get embedded. When I open the document, the image shows the placeholder with a red cross (as if the image cannot be found). I'm

When I open the file generated using Winzip, the document.xml.rels file does not contain a relationship ID associated with the embedded image.
When I open the using OpenXML Productivity tool and validate the XML I get the error : "The relationship 'R75a8cc179...' referenced by attribute 'hxxp://schemas.openxmlformats..../relationships:embed' does not exist
But what strikes as odd is imagePart.AddImagePart is not creating a
<Relationship> tag in the resulting document.xml.rels.
Using a debugger and stepping through, I checked the output of wpd.GetReferenceRelationship(wpd.MainDocumentPart.GetIdOfPart(imagePart)) and it throws a System.Generic.Collections.KeyNotFoundException.
Can you help?

Repricing the Document in WEBSHOP

Hi Experts,
We have a landscape of 3 different systems i.e. Webshop, CRM and R/3. As business process Sales orders are placed in webshop interacting with CRM and then moved to R/3, and an issue is identified around pricing, we use IPC for pricing.
The issue is we have Condition type YGID which has a group condition flag and works correctly, but the issue comes when an sales order is created with two line items, YGID group get's applied correctly, but if the second line item is deleted then the discount given on the first line item doesn't get reverted.
This is because the price is not getting recalculated on saving the order.
On analyzing this on 3 environments (i.e. Webshop, CRM and R/3 ) we can notice the following:
In Webshop : Price is not recalculated even if we save or confirm the order.
In CRM : The price is not getting recalculated on saving the document, but on confirming the document the price is getting recalculated.
In R/3 : The price gets recalculated on saving the document.
Do we have any settings required in Webshop where the repricing can be done.

"The document could not be saved/exported as"

Since the installation of Mavericks, I get this problem that I have been trying to investigate, without success so far:
With all application (could it be Preview, Pages and so on), when I first want to save or export the document, the Save dialog displays the default folder (let's say the Documents folder), then if I try to "save" there, or in a child directory, I get a "The document XXX.xxx could not be saved/exported as XYX.yxy".
If, instead of browsing from this default directory, I go back to the root (that is, click "User" then "Documents" and so on), the error vanishes, and the next save goes OK. Until I close the application and start over.
A hint:
The same thing can happen when unzipping a file, and I once observed, when trying to make a new folder from the Unzipping dialog, a "This folder is read-only" indication. In this case again, selecting the same folder by going back to the root, made this indication vanish.
So my guess is that there is some permission problem with the default path / shortcut for writing documents, but I have no clue about how to fix this.
I tried fixing the disk permissions and running all maintenance tasks of Onyx, but the problem doesn't go away.
I would be grateful if anybody had a clue or solution!

If you're having trouble making changes to files that are inside your home folder (represented by a house icon in the sidebar of a Finder window), or if you can't get changes to the settings of an application to stick, then please see below.
Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:

How can I search and replace the order items appear in the document?

Here is my script. I am trying to replace instances of a text pattern (Lot ^9^9^9^9^9) with an auto incremented number Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3, etc... I believe this script produces unexpected results becuase the search result is ordered by document construction. The first item in myfounditems is the last item added to the document (which is on the last pages of the document), the second item in myfounditems is the next to last item that was added to the document (which was moved to a middle page in the document). The net result is that instead of having the first item on the first page being Lot 1) and the item directly below it being Lot 2), my document is a hodgepodge of Lot numbers is a seeminlgly random order. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

You noticed the first one yourself: the Found item list seems to randomly jump around the document -- I believe you are correct in your observation it may be due to the object construction order. That tells me, by the way, something about your lot numbers that tou didn't mention: your text is not one continuous long threaded story, but it's all or partially in disconnected etxt frames. The Found list does return everything inside a single story in the correct order, but it goes over each separate story in the order they were constructed.
The only solution is to gather all of your lot numbers, *re-sort* them according to the page number they appear on (and some sort of Worst Case Scenario is when you might have more than one lot number frame per page; in that case you also need to sort by textframe, top to bottom -- yet even worse is if you also may have these textframes side by side!).
Only then you have a reliable counting order.
This isn't too bad. We can just extend the method I offered for sorting top-to-bottom/left-to-right in Re: Working around the frame selection order issue in CS 4 and make it also include page numbers:

As for actually implementing the above I cannot be of any help with Applescript.
Once we're dealing with sorting I think you're much better off in Javascript anyhow.

Pages (5.2) won't quit on 27" iMac with OS 10.9.2. I need to force quit and then reopen. Fortunately the document is saved. Anyone else have this issue?

In summary I purchased a new 27" iMac with Mavrickes, OS 10.9.2. When I try to close a Pages (v5.2) document after saving the document the application freezes and I get the spinning rainbow ball. I then need to Force Quit Pages. When the Pages application is reopened the documents pop back up, with the data saved after the Force Quit, I am able to close the document. Any suggestions?
I deleted Pages and then reinstalled a new downloaded copy of the application and the issue persists.

If you migrated from an older Mac, Pages '08/'09 might still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
