Ua decompress failure to download??

Does anyone know how to fix ua decompress failure to download?? I'm trying to download a sign language app for my nephew with Down Syndrome and it keeps saying ua_ decompress_failure_title after it has downloaded. I've tried turning it on and off several times and reinstalling it. Same thing over again. Any suggestions would be helpful!!! Thank you!!!

I recently purchased Photoshop Touch for use on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. I have uploaded files to Creative Cloud from CS5 version of Photoshop. I can view the file thumbnails on my tablet, but when I go to open them, I get the following error every time:

Failure to download software updates and IP blacklisting

SOme setting on my computer is stopping me from downloading iPhone software and Office for Mac software updates (network time-out and 9006 errors). My IP address is also repeatedly being blacklisted at my web based ISP (they say because of my file sharing settings!). I am at a complete loss! I do not run any anti-virus or malware program. Is it my firewal setting? I have also tried to turn off Airport and effect downloads via ethernet cable directly to my router. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My firewall log (see extract below) is full of stuff - mentions Dropbox data and nmbd data amongst other things - is this perhaps the problem? HELP!!!!

The IP address 192 etc is my router!
Had a look at my Firewall settings in System Preferences.
Allow all incoming connections is ticked.
In the box below under File Sharing (AFP) is -
BackService.app - Block incoming connections.
Does this have anything to do with my failure to download the software?
I have managed to do Microsoft Office software updates and a few others, so it appears to only be the iPhone update and my web based email being blocked (blacklisting my IP address) - this service provider says it is something to do with file sharing and their system being "pinged" too many times in a short time frame and thus automatically blocking my IP.
Am so confused as to how to solve this......

Failure to download...

I know this is a recurrent topic but, well, this is getting on my nerves. I have been to download only once (in a week) the 60 Mb of a magazine on an Android 3.2 device. And none of the bigger (400 Mb) issues we've created, whether on Content Viewer or a Folio Builder created app (and btw I need to launch that application twice before I can see something to download - that is a strange behaviour). I'm fed up getting downloads errors.
What should we do now? We have invested in InDesign licences, we have invested in DPS. What we get in return are lost clients because we are totally unable to show them anything but Desktop versions of a tablet magazine (as shared issues requiring to create an Adobe account!).
So DPS has left beta a few weeks ago? Well. For me this still looks like alpha to me (and I'm only whining about issues download failures, not even mentioning many DPS features look more like tricks than real functions, nor pointing the huge differences between ipad and android devices that make the reading experience rather bad on the latter, etc).
Do you guys from Adobe have something to say (other than "server was slow everything should be fine now") before we switch to another tablet publishing solution?

Fred - we can all relate. I am hoping things get sorted because ultimately I really like the Adobe solution, and believe it will only get better. I too feel like we are BETA testers, and my approach now is to hold off on commercial work until things are stable. Unfortunately I have one job to be done this week in DPS so I am incredibly nervous at the moment.
I'd say hang in there a bit - at least see what the update does this week. I feel your pain through! ;-) Your comments are spot on.

Newest iPad version will not download ios8. Various notices have popped up in each attempt, but all end in failure to download. At least 20 tries.

IiPad 3 with iOS 7, 64GB and plenty memory, presently will not download 8. Repeatedly tried and ends in failure with no explanation. Sometimes downloading for hours before failure message come ups. I Have had the same problem numerous times. I think I will just forgo the update for now after reading about the problems. Let them fix the bugs! My iPhone said it would take 29 hours and that was after two hours.

Network reset failure to download movie

I am unable to download already purchased movies from iTunes onto my mac. They will begin to download and then fail and the error message says Failure due to Network Reset. I have contacted Apple twice with no resolution.

Two possible problems.

Check your firewall to make sure Digital Editions is not blocked. Maybe check by (temporarily) turning off firewall.
2) ~~~~~~~~~
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1). Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically.
It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.
Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

Decompression failure - Winzip files

Hi Guys
Can someone help.....
I'm having issues with opening Winzip files....
When I select the file to download, i'm getting the decompression failed error.
I'm running v10.6.8 on my mac and wondering if its just a setting issue thats causing it.
It has worked well before and a bit baffled as to why all of a sudden its not working?
I have cleared cache and reset safari....
Any help appreciated....

Failure to download on MAC with Mountain Lion

I have repeatedly tried to download Flash Player and it fails with a message at the 50% download mark to "close out Safari" ... I do this and it still loops back to the same failure ... exercised this 4-5 times using your guidance with no luck. Any suggestions? Running OS X v 10.8.4 .

Mount the DMG and run the installer
If it won't run, go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder)
Empty the trash
Reboot
Mount the DMG and run the installer again.

Windows Installer failure during download of iTunes 10.5. Why is this happening?

I'm trying to update to the newest version of iTunes, and I get all the way through the process until the very end. I then get a message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A Program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I checked to be sure I an up to date with all of my Microsoft updates, so I don't think that is the problem. Tried to download a couple of times, and keep getting this message. Not very tech-minded, so maybe I'm skipping an important step, but I have loaded newer versions in the past with no problem. Help, please!

Go to 'Apple Software Update' in Add or Remove Programs icon in your Control Panel. Select Change, then Repair. Then rerun the iTunes installation.

Installing Acrobat 9 Pro has caused a failure to download any pdf from any website.

When I click on a pdf file, including any of the help files on the Adobe site, I get a view of the file for a fraction of a second and then it is replaced by a grey screen saying ' Acrobat Plugin Crashed' and offering me the option of sending a report. I have sent many reports, to no avail. For example, I looked up some train times, and got only the briefest tantalising glimpse of the pdf before it was replaced by the grey screen. The system was fine previously, when I had only Acrobat Reader. How can I put this right?

Three songs out of 20 on album failed to download properly on my PC (windows XP) when connection was interrupted. Screen appeared prompting me to download incomplete songs. I did so, but three of the songs only play a few seconds even though they show full track times (ie 4:23). When I look to download the album or tracks again the messasge say all content has been downloaded. I downloaded entire album to my IPAD and it play fine. How can I repair the album on my PC? If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

IPhoto 6.0.5 failure to download from Canon Rebet XT

I have not had any trouble prior to the latest upgrade. Since then, iPhoto will recognize the Canon and the number of photos to download. But it will not download. I called Canon tech spt who said I was the 3rd call they had received on the subject. They took me thru Image Capture which downloaded the photos which then had to be copied into iPhoto.
Is Apple working this problem?

2. That's a Kernal Panic you're having. Do you get
them at other times, or only on launching iPhoto?
3. KP's are often Hardware related. What peripherals
have you connected to the machine? Including Cameras?

1. Problems with Canon began in July when I got it.
2. No, I tried again to download the iPhoto 6.0.5 update. It says it successfully downloaded, but fails to launch.
3. I read Old Toad's reply Aug. 11 to Harmon Tison's "cannot open iphoto now" Aug 10 message, to rebuild my iphoto library. It rebuilt, but can't get to the next step. My isync keeps popping up saying "null error, no space left on device?" Why?
4. Only camera's are connected. Bought an additional external Maxtor hard drive, bc I wqas running out of storage with all my Canon large memory photos. I have not had any problems with that & it is nt connected.
5. Just tried to download from my Pentax camera (which I never have problems with) and it will not let me.

HT1933 Failure to download a TV episode

Using iTunes I bought a TV series and the first 8 episodes downloaded successfully using "check for available downloads". Now the latest two episodes will not download using the same process. I go to my "Purchase History" and click on "Report a Problem" but this is no help. What do I do next?
