Apr 16 2013 21:36:39: %ASA-7-710005: UDP request discarded from 192.168.52.7/7765 to inside:255.255.255.255/7765
where 192.168.52.7 is my PC IP.
Need to know why this message is showing up in ASA logs.
Thanks
MAhesh
Either way this sounds like an app not behaving correctly,
why would you want to broadcast this traffic , if you know what I mean
Try to close the applications running on your PC until you check that the traffic disappears then you will be able to determine.
In fact let's make it better ( the way we should do this is next )
Use the powerful netstat
netstat -b
netstat - ano
Then look for the process ID side each connection
Finaly go to your PC Star task manager /Services and match the PID

Kindly let me know the rean for such errors and how rectify the same,
Attaching the configuration file for your reference.
Regards / Ramesh MThe easiest way to do this is to set the logging level for these messages to a higher level than what you are logging. For example. You are currently logging debug (which is why your are seeing this message). If you log informational messages, you will not see this message.
Another option is to create a custom logging list, But depending on what and how much you want to log, this might not be a very good option.

Can't configure Airport Extreme with IP 192.168.0.1 after software update
Hi there,
after updating my ax with utility software 5.3.1 and firmware 7.3.1. The software didn't allow the dhcp configuration to stay at IP range from 192.168.0.40 to 192.168.0.200
The message said that this is not a valid IP.
The configuration was working before without any problem.
After several tries I changed to 192.168.1.40 and 192.168.1.200. Now I was able to save the changes. And the airport is working well.
But I can't go back to 192.168.0
But I need to use 192.168.0 for a tunnel to connect to my wifes company.
Configuration:
Seperate Modem with DSL.
Connecting over PPPoE
Activeted WLan
Connected computers over Lan and Wlan
Can anybody help?
Thanx
Stephanby-feet, Welcome to the discussion area!
AFAIK the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) has always forced the 3rd digit to be a 1 (one), as in x.y.1.z.
Could it be that you previously had the AEBS to operate as a bridge and your "modem" was actually suppling the IP addresses? -
Web page slow on 192.168.x.x network
I don't think this is a Cisco problem. When I try to access our school homepage from a 192.168.x.x network it is very slow to load. When I access the page from a 172.20.X.X network or registered subnet it works fine. It also works from the Internet. I've also tried several differant 192.168.x.x networks with the same slow page loading problem. I even tried a vlan with a 192.169.x.x network the page loaded fine. I even tried a 192.168.x.x network on the same vlan as the server. All other traffic from the 192.168.x.x network is fine. Any ideas why the page loads slow from a 192.168.x.x net??
Hi!
Can u send us ur network diagram? It will helpful to give suggestions...
Im not sure but maybe there is a routing problem... Please check traceroute from 192.168.x.x and from 172.16.x.x

Site to Site tunnel: ESP request discarded
Hello. I've got a site to site tunnel configured in an ASA-5540 (8.3) and at first working fine. After several hours, the tunnel is disconnected and I this log appear without stopping:
%ASA-7-710006: ESP request discarded from "tunnel IP peer" to outside_int:"my tunnel IP"
I can't figure out why the tunnel stop working and the meaning of this message. The explanation in Cisco documents does't fix to me.
Thanks.Hi,
At HQ ASA atleast the NAT0 configuration is wrong
You have configured this
nat (inside) 5 access-list inside_nat0_outbound
This isnt NAT0 however. It would be configured with ID 5 if you had a corresponding "global" commands using ID 5 also. It would be a Dynamic Policy NAT/PAT.
The NAT0 configurations should use the ID 0
If an existing NAT0 "nat" statement/configuration already exists then you would use the existing ACL to define the traffic that doesnt need NAT
So your configuration should probably be this
nat (inside) 0 access-list inside_nat0_outbound
I can't see a different in the actual L2L VPN configurations though there are some configurations that are not visible that might affect connectivity BUT the above mentioned NAT0 configurations is clearly a problem.
Hope this helps

Just checked the config, the problem is that you did not follow the object service configuration I sent you.
Mine:

service tcp source eq 3306
Yours:

Please change that and let me know,

guest password request for purplecat website in oakland california 192.168.33.112
I have the same errors occurring at an alarming rate. I did isolate it to the App Store. Specifically when checking for an update. I was hoping that you could test this out for me. Go to your console log and select all messages and then check kernel in the sender box (bottom left). I found that now is a good time to insert a marker. Now launch the app store then got to the update section. Select check for update.
Does this generate a series of the errors? I can reproduce the errors every time I "check for updates". The error would not show up when checking for updates in iTunes.
I did notice errors in both extending from CFNetwork
App store:

iTunes

Please compare and see if you get the same results. -
Hi there. Please i have a small LAN of about 8 computers all of which are running windows 7. I have installed FMS and XAMPP webserver on one of the machines. I want to stream live from one PC to all the other PCs on the LAN. I have a webpage with jwplayer embedded in it on my XAMPP webserver that is able to see the live stream when i start it locally. I mean the live stream works fine on the machine with the servers on it. But when i want to view the live stream from another machine in the LAN by accessing the webpage that has the jwpalyer from another machine, The jwplayer returns "server not found:rtmp://192.168.10.1/live" error. I was thinking that maybe a firewall is blocking the 1935 port but i have turned off the firewall of every PC on the LAN. I have unistalled any antivirus program on all the PCs. But i still get the same error when i try to access the live stream from another PC on the LAN.
When i run netstat -a -n|find ":1935" i get 192.168.10.2:49184 192.168.10.1:1935 SYN_SENT and i think the request for the stream is sent but the conection is rejected.
This is the code for the webpage with jwplayer embedded in it. maybe it can help:

</script>
<head>
<body onload="createPlayer();">

</div>
</body>
</html>
This page is able to view the stream on my local machine but it wouldn't work on the other machines on the machines. Is it not possible to stream over a LAN or what? OR What am i not doing right. [hmmn! [sighs] this is so frustrating]. help me please.Thanks in advance for your help.Thanks man. that is so helpful. But i doesn't solve the problem yet. I'll appreciate it a great deal if you could help me make the server accept requests from the 1935 port... And please tell me whether by server, u mean the FMS or the entire server on which the FMS is installed. I'm guessing it is the latter. Thanks in advance for your help

I can't print from my iPad2 to my air-print enabled printer (HP Premium e-all-in-one C310). They're on the same network, but have differed IP addresses! The iPad IP is 192-168-1.126 and the printer is 192-168.1.133. That's the only difference I can see. Is there a way to fix this?
fyi:
you put periods between the numbers.
Each device needs a unique number.
for the 192.168.1 the right must number should vary. 192.168.1.x
the numbers you have look ok.
Power off all devices: wifi router, printer, ipad.. wait 10 minutes. poweron router ... wait power on printer wait then power on ipad.
cross fingers.

Hi guys.
INet browsing via WiFi works (BB 9105), but I would like to get into my Router too, to reconfigure it. When I try to access my router, 192.168.1.1, or my ADSL modem (192.168.0.1) I always get the 504 error (Gateway Timeout), which is the same error I get when browsing through BIS.
Of course, through BIS I cannot access my router or modem, but with WiFi it should be possible to access it.
To make sure, I turned off BIS on my 9105.
I also, via a PC, configured the router to allow my BB MAC address to access the router.
Are they not compatible at all?
Or do I have to use a different browser on my BB?
Thanks for any ideas,
TatoHello Tato,
I hesitated posting here because I cannot give you a definitive answer, I've looked around and havn't seen any answers to this question specifically either.
What I can tell you however is using my mobile phone browser I have had no problems accessing my router while I am connected through WiFi, saying this I will also mention I use a DLink and am connecting with the same process in my case 192.168.0.1
Sorry, I can't tell you how to get it working, but hopefully this will keep you interested enough in the problem to get it sorted out.
Hope this helps,
Euclidics

Requesting pages from the index page cause the the webserver to hang
Whenever I request pages from the main osx server page(ie my page or wikis) it cause the web server to hang for a minute or so before giving me the page. It also stops the server from sending pages to anyone else.
If I go directly to any of the wikis by typing the address into the navbar I get no problems.
here is the info from the log file.

hi, I have an wrk54g wireless router and want to setup security.
Internet connection works fine (hence this request for help ;-) but accessing setup utility (by entering address 191.168.1.1 of router) gives "page not found".
Even a ping to 192.168.1.1 responds with "time out".
Have tried 30sec hard reset .. no luck .. also from other pc with cable connection ...
Txs in advance for tips !
