You are correct,
Actually i was using one transparent containers inside each Group!!
I deleted these groups and arranged containers one after other and it worked..
I will try using them again and observe for this exception.
but for time being my purpose is solved as it was urgent that the thing worked..

We are maintaining 10 internal Database through OEM 10g and using seesded reports.
When we try to create simple custom reports against one of the Target database , its failing with following error message ,

select * from dual & v$session working ( But query execution happeniing from Reposistory Database not from Target instance )
Note:

Could I create exception but the source based from 2 columns ?

In my tables, if right now, I have 4 columns, 2 Char and 2 KF.
e.g. Acct# | Cost Center | Sales in 01.2009 | KF 1 |
Could I create exception like this ??
I will highlight RED if Sales in 01.2009 > $ 1000 and KF 1 has value 0.
Could I do like this ?

Hi,
You can do one thing.
Create one formula. and use conditions in it.
For e.g.
( Sales > 1000) * (KF1 = = 0) * 0
..This will check if Sales is greater then 1000 and value in KF1 is zero, then its value will be zero.
And create an exception on this. i.e. if the value of this formula is zero then , highlight it with RED.
And in display tab when you create an exception mark "Affect all structure element".

Creating Exception in Web BI7.0

We are in the process of upgrading our system and I am doing some tests. I executed my BW 7.0 query on the Web. I created an exception, but I am unable to see the color change on execution (I created exception based on the output data) However, the same exception works on my BW3.5. My condition works good.
Any inputs on why my exception is not working????

Hi Rad,
in the BEx Web Analyzer, choose Settings. You can activate or deactivate the exceptions using the Toggle State button. Make sure that the exception is active.

Which PnL GL Accounts should have cost elements created for??

Dear Sap FICO Experts,
I am confused that which profit and loss GL Accounts should have cost elements created.
Some suggested that Price Differences, Cost of Goods Sold, Revaluation of inventory and change in WIP GL Accounts should not have Cost elements created, and some have the other opinions. Kindly let me know the reason if you suggest that for particular accounts, cost elements should be created.

As per my knowledge not all P&L accounts are created as cost elements.
All expenses realted GL accoutns are created as cost element category 01
All revenue related GL accounts are created as cost element category 11
Al sales deductions related GL accounts are created as cost element category 12.
The above given are some of the categories of cost elements we can create in SAP.

I am geting the error while creating the index on TREX 6.1. In t-code SKPR07 I have check the application log and got the following error and I am not able to create the index. Moreover I have check all setting as per installation document its looking fine. Please help me.

i just found your Question here, while I was searching the SCN for a solution. Because I had the same Issue.
In the SAP Support Portal I found the SAP Note 1512896 - KPro: Index category could not be created.
Take a Look at it. I guess, that could solve your problem (if it´s still exists)

Use of the Export while creating Exceptions in the Reporting Agent

hi all,
can anyone let me know how the Follow Up Action "Export" is used while creating Exceptions under the Reporting Agent.
I understand that for the data that was precalculated to be used as a work item in a customer Workflow, it first needs to be exported using the business Add Ins (SE19). i have created the Business add In "RSRA_ALERT" and have also set a filter according to the InfoArea and activated it.
But once, the package is scheduled and completed, wherefrom will i check the result and how do i check whether that data has been exported or not.
Kindly let me know at the earliest.

Locking Down & Creating Exceptions

We have seven school district buildings which includes an administration
building. Each school has it's own server set on NW6.5SP5 and BM3.8SP4 as
well as Zen 7. The admin bld has two servers, one for the building and one
is our web/e-mail server using GW 7.0.2HP and Apache2. It also has GWava
running with Kaspersky A/V (e-mail) and both servers are our DNS servers.
If I set the default filters (to lock down the system) with BM, all
connectivity is lost, which it should be. However, I've not been able to
figure out the correct filters to set to allow traffic into and out of the
web server and e-mail, i.e., if I lock down the building server no one can
get to their e-mail or access the web server but can access the Internet via
the BM proxy.
I have Craig's books but guess I need a little more detail and pictures. Is
there a book out there for those of us with A.D.D. that will walk me through
creating a filter one-step-at-time including saying what each step is
for/doing or what will be accomplished?
I need to lock down each of the servers, but can't because, although users
can get out to the Internet via the BM Proxy, they still don't have access
to GroupWise from the client and / or Novell's iFolder, and Instant
Messaging, of course. If I go to iManager 2.6 and attempt to creating
exceptions for GW, iFolder and IM, the filter exceptions are created but
don't make a difference.
Sorry to drag on so long, but we've had an incident happen in the last month
and we need to make the network more secure but still allow users to such
things as the Internet, GW, iFolder, etc.
Any suggestions and/or ideas would be appreciated,

We have seven buildings, six schools and the administration building. Each building has it's own BorderManager server. Each building has it's own T-1 circuit. The buildings are connected by a BorderManager VPN (IKE). The web/mail server at the administration building is the VPN master.
Currently each workstation's GW client (in each building) is set to the GW server's (MTA, POA, GWIA, WEBACC) public IP. Setting the filters to create a secure system would kill this capability, correct?

We are using "dynamic" NAT in each building. I only use "static" NAT when I create a secondary IP to my office computer so I can access it from home. NAT is then set to "dynamic and static" and not "static" only.

Copy the payload from sxmb_moni and test it in the mapping tool using debug mode. I suspect some mandatory elements in target structure requires value but it is missing during mapping. Sometime sender data structure due to values are not getting at runtime does not create target structure element. Check all the individual fields in the mapping tool.

MRP Type V1 - Does it create Exception Message for "Reschedule-in"?

Hello Experts,
We are using MRP Type V1 (Which has the Manual Re-Order Planning + External Requirements). However we are facing and issue with the Rescheduling part. Scenario is as following:
Material ROP is - 5000
Open Pur Ord is - 5000 (due in 01 June'09) based on the Std Lead time of the Material
Stok on hand is - 0
At this point a Sales Order is entered for 1000 pcs
After MRP Run, we expect an Exception Message for the Purchase Order to have "Reschedule-in". But, instead, system creates a PReq for 1000 pcs and the required date is NOT the Sales Order required Date but based on the Std Lead Time of the Material.
I have set the Material Lead time - 60 Days
I have set the Reschedule horizon - 0 Days ( I even tried with different Days but NO use)
However, when I change the MRP Type to PD, system generates a "Reschedule-in" Exception Message for the Purchase Order.
How can I get the "Reschedule-in" Exception Message for the Purchase Order with the MRP Type V1?

Anil,
Reorder point/External MRP performs net requirements calculation (within replenishment lead time). If the existing firmed supply elements minus the existing requirements bring the projected stock below ROP, it will propose an order that will bring the projected stock back to reorder point. The proposal will generally come at replenishment lead time.
In the normal business cycle, your sales order would confirm to lead time, and you now have a confirmed sales requirement at lead time, plus a new purchase req to bring the stock back to the reorder point. The scenario you have described is working exactly as it is designed. Consumption based MRP will not normally try to reschedule supply elements to match requirements inside of lead time.
Rescheduling horizon generally is counted from the end of lead time. It won't help you here.
I guess if you insist on having a reschedule message, you could change your lead time to 0 days. Not a wise move in my opinion. You then have locked yourself in your choices of types of Sales order availability checks into one that ignores lead time. You also have to find a way to let your buyers/planners know what the 'real' lead time is when they place their orders on the vendors.
I don't know why you are using a consumption-based planning type (reorder point). It sounds like your business requirements are that you actually need to be using a demand-type planning method (eg, your supply elements are driven by your demand, not by a reorder point/desired stock level). If PD works the way you want, why aren't you using it?

No such element inroadmap exception error

I have created an roadmap project. The navigation is working. except when i need to skipp a stip.
When i for instance pus a back putton the roadmap shows me that i am at step 2 instead of step 1`

JAXB - Unrecognised Element Name Exception

I am not quite sure what is wrong here.
I have got a dtd file that has the following specification:
<!ELEMENT SomeElement (A,B?)>
<!ELEMENT AnotherElement (C | B)>
<!ELEMENT A(#PCDATA)>
<!ELEMENT C(#PCDATA)>
<!ELEMENT B (x,y,z)>
<!ELEMENT x(#PCDATA)>
<!ELEMENT y(#PCDATA)>
<!ELEMENT z(#PCDATA)>
And assume default binding schema.
I wrote a XML file based on the dtd and a java app to access the data.
The XML file
<SomeElement>
<A>Some Sentence</A>
<B>
<x>1</x>
<y>2</y>
<z>3</z>
</B>
</SomeElement>
<AnotherElement>
<C>123</C>
</AnotherElement>
During unmarshalling, it throws an UnrecognisedElementNameException: x
It seems that it cannot recognised element x, y and z.
I am pretty sure I have it defined in the dtd file so why is it complaining?
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
