Unable to create SUS Vendor User ID

Hi Gurus,
I've ticked the "Portal Supplier" indicator in BP screen. System triggered XML msg to PI and received successfully in SUS. Unfortunately the processing is failed, XML error msg as below:

I debugged and found there is missing value in RECEIVER_PARTNER_ID field. I also saw user id generated in SU01 with empty role and proflie.
Anyone can advice please?

Dear Glen,
Have you registered the vendor root organization in the table BBP_MKTP_INFO?
You need to maintain for the system. We have recently configured the scenario for our client.
The system should generate one time access details and send the link to the e-mail specified in the supplier master data.
With the one time access details, the supplier will create an admin user in the SUS portal.

WL Unable to create session for users behind proxies

Hi,
I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out this problem.
We are using WL6.1. We have two main apps each in their own
wl domain. User logs into app1 and clicks on a link that redirects
them to app2. App1 is load-balanced across two wl servers with
no clustering enabled. App2 is load-balanced across two wl
servers with clustering enabled. They are front-ended by five
apache servers and the apache servers are front-ended by an
altion load balancer. For some users (so far almost all of our
customers in Australia and a few corporate customers on the east
coast) wl under app2 cannot create a session for the user during
the redirect. For all other users it works. App1 and App2 only
set the http headers for no-cache (we know we need to set the
meta-tags as well, but have not seen a problem yet). The user
has session cookies enabled and successfully gets a session from
app1. The only difference between app1 and app2 is that when
the user logs into app1 it is via SSL. In app2, we call
request.getSession(true) (which returns a session object)
and then later on (during the same request) call
request.getSession(false) and it returns null. Has
anyone experienced anything similiar, or provide any helpful
information?????
NOTE: We are unable to reproduce this problem in any of our
environments, even when we setup a proxy for all our http
traffic. We turned off clustering on app2 and still wl cannot
successfully create a new session.

Can you try adding the EJB 3.0 facet to your JPA project. Typically, JPA are initially a Utility faceted project, so you must remove this facet first and then select the EJB facet. There will also be an accompanying "Oracle WebLogic EJB Extensions" 10.3.6 facet that you will need to select.
Steps:
1. Rt Click the Project>Properties>Project Facets
2. Uncheck the Utility Module(You may have to right click it and select unlock)
3. Check The EJB Module Facet
4. Check the Oracle WebLogic EJB Extensions 10.3.6.
Then attempt to generate the session beans as before.

Unable to create a User in Planning (Very Urgent)

Hi All,
I am Using Planning 4.0 version. When I am trying to create a user from Planning Web it is throwing me the below Error:
User Name is Invalid: test
I tried giving different usernames but no luck.
Is this a bug??? Are there any log files which I can look at for more information.
Please let me know your valuable inputs.

But I have this user access couple of weeks back. I do not know where to check for the log files.
This user is available in Active directory and can access production database. But I am unable to create the same user in developement environment. Even I tried to create couple of users who are in the Actice directory. I am unable to create any users.
Where should I check to get more information in order to resolve this issue.
Please let me know your inputs

Unable to create service user Installation

Hi am unable to create PIAPPLUSER service user.Am installing NW2004s on AIX.
Its using the BAPI_USER_CREATE1 to create the user, everything is successful but at last it gets a message RFC connection closed.Is this some thing to do with SLD? I created the user PIAPPLUSER manually, but then also its giving RFC connection closed...Please help me...Answers will be greatly rewarded...

Unable to create a tablespace under user scott despite of many privileges

Hi,
I use user scott to test a rdf database using oracle 11.2.0.2 contained in oracle developer days in my oracle linux enterprise guest system. However, I am unable to create a tablespace under scott. The error message says insufficient privilege. Actually, I granted all privilege in Roles, System Privileges, Object Privileges to scott in the OEM panel. I also granted resource, create session, create table, unlimited tablespace to scott in sqlplus as well. However, I am still unable to create the tablespace. The command I used for creating tablespace is below:
create tablespace rdf_tblspace
datafile '\home\oracle\app\oracle\oradata\rdf_tblspace.dat' size 14m reuse
autoextend on next 10m maxsize unlimited
segment space management auto;
Error at Command Line:1 Column:1
Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

create tablespace is a system privilage granted to a user by the DBA in below way:
grant create tablespace to scott;

Users unable to create or delete folders in migrated public folders using Outlook

We have an Exchange 2013 CU3 environment migrated from Exchange 2007.
The public folder migration was completed over the weekend.
The environment has several public folder mailboxes.
Post migration users are unable to create/delete new sub folders, or modify permissions using Outlook on any of the migrated public folders. Users can however create new top level folders using outlook. They can also create and delete new posts
in migrated public folders.
Admins are able to create folders and set permissions on migrated folders using the EAC.
Test User accounts used for testing are set to use the Primary Hierarchy mailbox as their default public folder mailbox.
Test Users have been given Owner permissions from the root down on the folders we are testing with.
We have tested with Outlook 2010 and 2013 getting the same "Cannot create the folder" error.

Further testing
We moved a top level folder from a secondary PF mailbox to the primary PF mailbox using the New-PublicFolderMoveRequest command in powershell.
After the move completed we could create new folders under the moved top level folder.
The top level folder that was moved had it's own sub-folders that we did not move to the primary mailbox. (We didn't move the whole branch.. Just the top level folder)
We still cannot create or modify the existing sub-folders after moving the top level folder.
We then moved the newly created sub-folder to a secondary PF mailbox.
At that point we could no longer create sub-folders in the folder form outlook.
From what I can tell you can only create new sub-folders in folders homed to the primary PF mailbox when using outlook.
Is this a bug or as designed?
According to this Tech ed presentation Clients connecting to a secondary PF mailbox should have folder changes proxy to the primary PF mailbox.. (See slide 10)

Not much new to report other than it appears that users need to be homed to the primary PF mailbox to delete calendar meetings.
Opened a ticket with Premier support.

Premier support continues to look into the issue. No ideas as to the cause yet.

Unable to create the portable home directory for this user

This is driving me nuts!
I have a network user who I can login to on any machine on the network. I want a PHD to be created on a laptop and eveytime I answer 'yes' to 'create PHD for this user' I get the "unable to create the PHD for this user" message.
What am I doing wrong?

I fixed this by unbinding the laptop from the od server as I had used this user previously for PHD's on this machine. Setting up the machine to bind to OD again and all is well.

What does this error mean? I have tons of them in my console. I have also repaired my permissions with Disk Utility, which found nothing in /var.

Tonight, the finder crashed during an iDisk operation.
I had to manually turned off the mac.
On the restart, Snow leopard decided to index spotlight for like an hour!
I suspected things so I went into the console, and yes I get all these "MDS Error: unable to create user DBs in /var/folders/..." for nearly each app I launch.
Any ideas?? I've been reading your thread, and couldn't find any relevant in google too.
It doesn't seem to affect the use of the mac, but it's still strange! (there's a part of me that wanna clean reinstall right now! I just hate now that i know that something might not be working like it should! haha)
Any idea an help very welcome.

lakshmiWhat you need to do is to check directory logs in order to see what is the specific object class violation. If your AM instance was working before, something nasty should have happened in directory. Check logs and schema files.

User unable to create queries on a multiprovider that exists in production.

Helo,
I have an issue where one of the users is unable to create queries in BE X on a multiprovider as the multiprovider is not geting listed .He gets the message "No objects found ".
I have Checked and the multiprovider exist in test and production
We replicated the same user's production id into a test id in Test system , and the user is able to see the mutiprovider geting listed to create the query
Not sure what is the problem in production, Any help on this will be very useful.

That User may not have the authorizations on that InfoArea and MP, so check it. See SAP help on Roles and Authorizations.

User exit not getting triggered while creating the vendor

Hi all,
I wanted to extend the idoc(crermas01) according to my reqiurement.
But when I am trying to create a vendor using the IDOC cremas01 the user exit EXIT_SAPLKD01_001 is not getting triggered.
Can anybody tell me the reason why it is happening so...........

Is your Idoc generated after the execution?
Where is you break-point, it is inside EXIT_SAPLKD01_001. Please note FM EXIT_SAPLKD01_001 will not be called unless it is implemented using project (CMOD) and project is active.

Error occurs while the user creates an vendor(MDM)

Hi,
The following error occurs when the user creates an vendor(MDM) and submits the form for validation on Enterprise portal.
" Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: MDM_WD_MODELDATA_DEST - Model: class com.xxxx.ven.crt.MDMBAPIValidateModel. Please assure that you have configured the RFC connections and/or logical system name properly for this model"
Can any one help me out how to rectify this error?

I'm have trouble with a new install of Tiger 10.4. In the very beginning after entering my location and info, the next step is to create a user account. This is the furthest I get. It says Unexpected error has occured. ( Unable to create standard user) The only option is to select quit and it first boot up steps start all over again. Any info would help.

Hi, I think you may need to start over.
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
   2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
      *Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
   3. Click the Erase tab.
   4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
   5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
   6. Highlight the drive, select Partition Tab, then Format type... MacOS Extended Journalled, select the Security Options button, choose Zero Out Data, Erase... after completion hopefully you'll be able to install.

SolMan 4.0 Solaris / Oracle install: Unable to create account user

Hi!
Am I getting this error during step 2 (Create users for SAP System) of the Solution Manager 4.0 installation. This error occurs when SAPinst is trying to create account "orasol" for system "SOL".

Hello Thomas,
It looks like a Solaris issue. Check if the home directory
/home is reserved in the Solaris configuration.
Check if this fix the problem please perform the following steps:
1. modify /etc/auto_master file to change the entry for '/home' to say
'/autohome' instead
2. reboot
3. rmdir /home
4. ln -s /export/home /home (make sure /export/home exists)
Also you could create soladm manually in advance.

All Im very new to Oracle DRM and Im trying to get the app setup on Windows server running SQL Server 2008. When I try to login to the Web Client I keep getting this error.

This might be due to The 'Oracle Instance' path may not have been set to a path relative to the 'CSS Bridge Host' (i.e. the Foundation Services machine) on the Configuration > Host Machines > CSS > General tab of the DRM Configuration Utility.
if this is the case then
1. Open the DRM Configuration Console.
2. Go to the Configuration > Host Machines > CSS > General tab of the DRM Configuration Utility.
3. Ensure that the path in 'Oracle Instance' has been set relative to the 'CSS Bridge Host' (i.e. the Foundation Services machine defined in 'CSS Bridge Host').
4. If corrections are made to 'Oracle Instance' then restart the DRM services to pick up the change.
