Upload and Resize Image not inserting filename in database

I have a form that I created using the insert record form wizard. One of the fields is a file field and my form enctype is set to multipart/form-data. I then used the upload and resize image behavior and set the parameters. When testing the form the file uploads to the correct directory but no entry is made into the database for that particular field. The other fields are entered into the database just fine. If it helps, here is the code generated before the tag:

If the reason is about memory, warning message should be happened when upload the image, because "show thumbnail" means resize at second time, how come you failed to resize the picture that system let it upload succeed at the first time by the same resize process?
upload procedure
a.jpg: 2722x1814, 1.2mb
upload condition: fixed width 330px, 1.5mb
"upload and resize" a.jpg -> file upload -> "resize engine" -> passed (but not work and no warning message)
"show thumbnail" a.jpg -> "resize engine" -> failed (not enough memory)
it doesn't make sense.
and you miss an important key point, I upload the same picture myself, and resize work, so I said it happened at random, and that's why I am so worried.

Where can I find a SIMPLE program to layer and resize images on my Air?

I've downloaded the GIMP & looked at Seashore, Inkscape, Sketchbook, and Paintbrush. All I want to do is resize images (paintings and drawings, not photos), sharpen the contrast in some of them, and MAYBE layer floral drawings over some text background--the programs I mention having looked at/tried seem far too complex for what I want to do, and I just get lost trying to figure them out (and reading the user manuals!).

Is this an older "round" version of the AirPort Extreme? If yes, it is true that AirPort Utility 6.x no longer supports the older AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express models.
A model number......located on the bottom of the Extreme or on the side of the Express would be helpful to confirm what you have.
Apple probably does want you to buy a new AirPort Extreme.
The workaround might be to use a Mac or PC running a 5.x version of AirPort Utility.
A more complicated workaround would be to install AirPort Utility 5.6 on Mountain Lion. This is not supported by Apple......it does work for me.....but may not work for you. See this article for more details:

Cropping and resizing Images using Adobe Photoshop Elements 12

I am trying to edit pictures for my web site and previously used adobe photo shop 4 which I liked very well. When I try to crop and resize in photoshop 12 have been unable to adjust the images using pixels. As every photo on my website needs to be in pixels then this is a big problem for me! Is there anyway to change the preferences in the settings? Thanks Tess

Crop and resize images on iPhone - app recommendations?

Does anyone know of a photo-editing app for iPhone that lets you crop an image and also resize to a preferred pixel ratio?
On my Mac at home I use Photoshop for this (setting the crop-to width at 500 px and then simply cropping the part of the image I want to use), but it would be super-handy if I could load the high-res images onto my iPhone and do it on the move.
I tried the Photoshop app, but although it lets you crop, there doesn't seem to be a resize function.
Any ideas?

Hi Jennifer, I guess It's not possible do what I want directly from iPhone.
My problem is pinch to small size and keep it then and send to Instagram. When I double tap the image enlarge, so I double tap again and the image go back to normal size. When I pinch to small size that I want and leave my fingers the image goes back to regular size.
I'm reading others foruns and I guess I have to use some app to post 3:4 photo, like Squaready. I'm trying and seems It work. It need to resize and crop and make all adjustments.

I am unable to drag and drop image files in a JAVA supposrted site. I have all the lastest versions of softwarte here - everything is up to date.

I am no longer able to drag and drop image files int this JAVA supported site. It had always worked flawlessly in the past.
I would open the site, go to Send Files, allow access, fill out the fields and then drag and drop my image files. Now I can only use the ADD (+) button to do so.

Unable to copy and paste images in latest "Pages"

I use to be able to copy and paste images in my old pages by ctrl + click and choose "copy" and then reverse the process by ctrl + click and choose to paste it.
But now since I updated to the latest pages I am unable to execute this function.
My computer has OS X 10.9.1 and Pages 5.0.1.
Is there any way I could get this working by the above mentioned method.

It is not ctrl. Unless you are talking about right clicking and using the contextual menu.
It is command c (copy) command v (paste).
There are a number missing features in the contextual menu in Page 5.
Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5 and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Desktop Manager Folders getting unchecked and Unable to Read and Modify Filters with DM...

Like most people I have sub folders within Outlook to keep clients and employees separated. I just upgraded to the 8330 from a Dino 7100i. I set up my folders under Email Settings, General, Choose Folders so that I can send email to the device that is important.
The problem is I stop getting email from employees randomly and when I go check the Desktop Manager (DM) the boxes are unchecked. I've never had this problem with the Old BB. The folder structure is only a few deep, meaning: Inbox\Employee\Employee folders that are checked or not checked.

I'm also unable to view and edit my Filters in this version of DM. The window is unreadable and all jammed together..... am I the only one with this problem?

I am also having an issue viewing and editing my Filters. They are all jammed together. I have uninstalled the DM completely including all registry entries, recreated my profile in Outlook and reinstalled. This has done nothing to fix the issue. I am using DM v4.7, BB 8130 Pearl, Sprint Firmware 4.3.0.203, Outlook 2007 on a Vista Enterprise 32 bit machine. Anyone have a fix for this issue?

Forms6i, read and write Images to BLOB

I read and write jpg's to the database with this commands:
Read_Image_File (V_Filename, 'JPG', 'BILDER.IM_BILD');
Write_Image_File (V_Filename, 'JPG', 'BILDER.IM_BILD', No_Compression, Original_Depth);
My problem is, that forms stores a jpg-format to the db, that cannot be read from java-programs.
The other way, when java stores jpg's to the BLOB, then forms can work fine with this images too and java also...
What does forms do, when it stores jpg's to the db, so that other programs cannot use the images?

Convert image file names to labels and resizing images according to frame. Possible??

I have posted this question hastily in the main mac forum but then i realized it is a scripting question so I repost here.
Q1: I have a client with 700+ images who has named the images with numbers and the caption:
eg: 1.II.34. Walking down the road towards the building.tiff
This is the name of the image file itself
Is there a way to import the name of the file (possibly without the extension) and place it as a caption under the image without copying and pasting? A script maybe?
I tried the labelgraphics script. Unfortunately it returned the extension as well. I was given a solution but did not work for me since it deleted everything after the first dot on the name. This was:
in labelgraphics on line 105, change
myLabel = myLink.name
to
myLabel = myLink.name.split('.')[0]
So how can we tackle this so it deletes everything after the LAST dot?
Q2: The image files I am given are all huge tiff files. I use the full 100% of the images but in my document they have to be much smaller . They are usually scaled down to 25-35% of the original file. So I end up with huge, unneeded documents.
Is there a script that would work together with photoshop maybe?
It would need to read the frames dimensions the image is in, open the linked file inside photoshop, resize it with a specified interpolation to maybe 110% of the frame's dimensions, set the resolution (if not set) to 300 dpi save the image as a copy (or with a suffix or prefix), leave photoshop open (for the next image to be processed), relink to the new image and go to the next image
I know it sounds a lot but I was amazed by the issues people handle in this forum and thought I would give it a try

I've noticed that everything works wonderfully as far as
bringing the blog content into the dynamic text field; however, my
only problem at the moment is while Blogger will automatically
resize my images, so it doesn't mess up the current template in
html, but of course, Flash does not (out of the box).
I need a way to define the width & height of the images in
the text field to fit inside the dynamic text field they're in.
As far as I can tell, the tutorials listed on that site use an
alternate method and don't actually resize them. They just make a
link to them.
Lastly, I thought about using CSS in Flash to adjust the img
size, but from what I gather there are very few items at my
disposal.
Does anyone have a solution?

How to zoom in/out AND resize image?

sorry if they are stupid questions but i can't seem to find how to resize and image and zoom in/out. I am using Version 3 of Photoshop Album Starter Edition.

Don't know what you want to do...
Resize the actual image file? If so, PSA SE can't really do that.
Just look at an image at different magnifications? Select image, F11 for full screen, then use CTRL/+ and CTRL/- to adjust.

Vertical scrolling, move and resize image? Is that possible?

My homepage has a copy of the company logo, large in the center of the page. When I scroll down, I want the logo to move up into the menu and display as a smaller size.

Hi Katloubee Yes it is possible in muse. Simply you have to play with opacity in the scrolling effects panel.Mae your first image invisible when you scroll down.
Firstly you have to place your image and then use the scroll bar effects, make it stuck on the header panel, set its opacity to 0% at initial position and 100% at final. Its not that complicated as I tried to explain it
If still having trouble, than look for tutorials on adobe tv, regarding scrolling effects & opacity..

Reading and Writing Image through Socket

i'm doing a mobileapplication and i send the Image from the server using a DataOutputStream. I'm converting the Image to a byteArray. The Image in .png format. But i need to read it from a J2ME application and when i read the byteArray and convert it to a Image it gives a illegalArgumentException coz it says that cannot decode the Image.

some png files are not standard png files thats why u may get the error but u should try like this:

Unable to drag and drop images with manual sort in CS2 bridge

I've had CS2 for several years now but for some reason, just never really needed to do a manual sort. Now that I DO need to, it doesn't seem to be working. I have the view set for manual and no matter what kind of working space I use, the program does not allow me to drag and drop the thumbnails into different positions. All I get is that circle with a diagonal line through it, showing me that what I'm trying isn't going to work.
Any ideas?

DUUUUUUUDE! IT'S WORKING NOW!!!!
When you originally asked, "What happens if you click on an image and move it to another folder?", I didn't really understand what you were talking about because I almost never have my workspace set up in a way that the folders are showing. I always hide them. So I didn't really understand what you were saying. Just a few minutes ago, I realized that that is what you were asking so I opened up the folder area and tried dragging thumbs into different folders and saw that it does work.
So then, because of you mentioning that blue line and me know that I did see the blue line on occasion. I went back over into the thumbnails to find out if I always got the blue line or if it was a hit or miss thing. I couldn't believe my eyes when all of the sudden I saw that I no longer was getting that circle with the line through it, and low and behold, the thumbnail dropped right into position like it is supposed to!!!!
The thing is, I don't know what I've learned from this. I thought, "well, what is different?" The only thing that I can think of is that I now have the folders showing in my workspace so I wondered if that was the secret but I just now hid the folders again like I usually do and the drag and drop into position is STILL WORKING!!!
All I can figure is that somehow, dragging and dropping a thumbnail into a folder like that for the first time, triggered something so that I can now drag and drop among the thumbnail positions? Not sure. All I know is that for some reason, IT'S WORKING NOW!
Now, for the second important part, I wonder if I drag and drop everything into the order that I want and then select all of the files and drag them into a new folder, will they stay in that order? I need to go experiment with that.
If you hadn't kept at it and in turn had me keep trying stuff, it would have never happened because I had pretty much given up.
