Undesiarable Delivery split based on customer group

Hi Gurus,
This is very urgent,
One of my business requirement is to avoid splitting of Delivery when the reference sales order contains line items that belong to different customer group.
I have a sales order with three line items. Two of which belong to one customer group and one belong to another customer group. When delivery is created it gets split into two based on the customer group. But I dont want splitting based on customer group.
Is there any SRO settings or enhancement or SAP note etc available for this purpose.
Helpful answers will be rewarded.
Thanks in advance
Ramachandran Babu

This is indeed the routine I was referring to. This ZUKRL field is created for each order and only orders with exactly the same content in this field will be or can be combined into one delivery.
However, I don't see customer group here (only distribution channel and division), so this will not be the cause of your problem.
Regards,
John.

  • Need to have a Delivery split based on number of line items

What are best possible ways to have a control on the delivery creation based on the no. of line items.
Scenario : Suppose if i have a sales order with say 1200 lines (same to ship to party, same del date & Same Shipping point) and suppose if i want to have a deliveries created for this order that should not exceed 400 lines (hence 3 deliveries for the same order), how can i proceed?. Kindly Advice.
    Thanks & Regards
    Ilango

    hi
    there are  2 options
If you are creating delivery manually then you can give the no of line items on the first screen of VL01N.
second option is to use field LIKP-ZUKRL.  You can popluate this field with some logc that for first 400 line itmes the value is 1 and beyond that it is 2 and next 400 it is 3.  The system will split the delivery according to the field ZUKRL.  It the values are different at header it will split the deliveries. you can do this at the time of copy control or user exit.  Please chek the best feasbility with the technical consultant

  • Control Delivery split based on diff in exchange rate (let. of credit)

    Hi Team,
We have a scenarios where the user does nto want split in delivery because of differecne in Exchange rate for line items.
In my case when Letter of credit si assigned to line item.
I understand this as standard behavior that a delivery splits happens based on difference in exchangerate.
My question is to control this split, will it be a right to control it by routine in copy controls routine form order to delivery or we consider the user exit.
So, kindly assit me to solve this or do we have any standard setting by which i can control. this.
    Thanks in advance
    Balaji

    Hi Balaji,
See Note 415716 - User exits in delivery processing, because it tells us how some modification can affect to split documents.
I suggests you to manage it with VOFM subroutine. The idea is that diferent values in LIKP-ZUKRL determintes the split of documents. You can populate until 40 characters, and you manage it with structure ZUK. This concatenation in a string is moved to LIKP-ZUKRL. It works like ZUKRI in spliting of invoice. This VOFM is set in copy rules.

  • Delivery control based on customer's GRN

    Dear Gurus,
We follow Scheduling agreement (LP) process. We have a requirement like, when we do the PGI of the delivery (along with the commercial and excise invoices), the goods goes to Transporter's warehouse and kept there.
Whenever customer ask the transporter to send some of the goods (say PGI made for 500 qyt and customer wants to GRN for 300 initially) then transporter sends the same. Rest will be sent as per the customer's request by transporter. ( FYI..Here transporter updates the delivered qty dispatched status to the client)
In this, my client wants to have a control that when we create the next delivery to the same customer and the same material, system should indicate them that out of the earlier dispatched goods, how much of them are inwarded by the customer and left out qty in transporteru2019s WH details.  So that they can avoid creating dispatch again to that customer
How to map this in SAP. If we have to do with some developments then pls suggest me on how to do the same.
    Thanks in advance.
    Reg,
    JJ

    Hi,
here you need to have clarity on below points-
    - On whose name goods issued initially?
if its customer's name, then stock is out of the system & no chance of tracking, as ownership of the goods transferred from client to customer.
if its transporter's name, then transporter should treat as ship to party. still you will not have track to consider in availability check.
Final option will be consider the transporter location as depo/warehouse , then whenever customer demands for goods, first transfer to warehouse/depo & from there issue to customer. Delivering Plant should be always transporter warehouse.
-Invoice & Excise invoice has to be created on customer, if goods are sending to customer, but not to transfer to the warehouse.
-Just for the business convinience / for immediate dispatch or timely dispatches to customer, transporter's warehouse is hired to place the stock.  if the stock at warehouse is still client's property then only availability check is possible.
    - Legally, client should show in their books until goods are their ownership, if transferred physically to the other location which doenst belongs to client then that is not considered as client stock.
Re-discuss about this process with the client & we had similar discussion and convinced FI & their internal auditors as well to set up / consider the transporter warehouse as depot. mapped accordingly.
Tracking of GR qtty is part of report requirement , where as availability check is a function which needs to be carried out at transaction level. GRN is nothing but a POD.

  • Group Conditoin based on Customer Group

    Hi Experts,
I have used a Group Condition feature of Pricing. (Group Condition tick mark in Transaction - V/06)
Now actual use of this Group Condition is somewhat like mentioned below as per the F1 Help.
"For a group condition to be effective, the items must belong to a group. You can freely define the group to meet the needs of your own organization. The items can, for example, all belong to the same material group."
Now I want to know that what are the different groups which are considered for applying Group Condition concept.
I want to apply this Group Condition concept for the line items with the same customer group. (material group can be different for them).
Is it possible? If yes, how can I set / configure it? If not, is there any other alternative for that (like GrpCond.Routine)?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    HP

    Hi Krishna,
    Thannks a lot for reply.
Actually I am aware about VOFM and how to write Routines also. My problem here is that I dont know what Structure or Internal Table should I play with in the Routine.
For Example if I write a routine for a normal pricing we use fields XKWERT, XKWART or Structure XKOMV with field KWERT, KWART etc.
So in the same way what should I change or use or update to change the Group Condition Check base?
Like as in F1 Help, it is mentioned...
"For a group condition to be effective, the items must belong to a group. You can freely define the group to meet the needs of your own organization. The items can, for example, all belong to the same material group."
Here if the material group (KONDM) is same, it the group condition will work. That means somewhere I need to replace KONDM by KDGRP in the Routine. Where do I find this and replace KONDM by KDGRP?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind Regards,

  • Determining service level offer for delivery date based on customer/materi

    Hi,
we operate R/3 4.7 enterprise and are looking at a new requirement to present a service level offer at time of sales order input va01, drvin by customer number or group and the material number... For example customer 123456 orders two materials, ABC, ZXC... ABC has a proposed delivery date of today +2 while ZXC has +5 days, this would populate the "first date" ETDAT and then if not available schedule lines would be based on ATP scope of check. To further explain a second customer 654321 orders the same two materials, ABC and ZXC but this customer has a service level of today +4 days for ABC and +10 days for ZXC... I do not recollect in my experience such functionality in standard sap, perhaps with CRM? OR ABAP user exit?
Appreciate your thoughts and direction, perhaps siome one has developed a similar scenario or knows with greater experience that the solution is not in standard R3 4.7...
Thanks and look forward to your thoughts...
    Craig

    Hi,
When u creates sales order, system reserve material in c u r case
    ABC = Today + 2 days
    xyz = today + 5 days
Now another order come for same material then system automatically gives u next date if material is not availabe
    ABC = Today + 4 days
    XYZ = Today + 10 days
But if u have stock then this will not give u further dates,it will confirm as early as possible.

  • Delivery creation based on Customer Preferred Days

    Hi,
We are on SAP 4.7 version.
My requirement is to have delivery create date (i.e. schedule line date) to be based on certain specific days of the week. For example one customer picks up their goods on Wednesdays only. I want all deliveries due before wednesday to be created on wednesday. These days are specific by customer. I therefore cannot set up shipping point calendars.
How can this be achieved ?
I tried, Unloading points -- calendar assignment in customer master. It does not help is determining the schedule line date. I only get a warning message saying "customer will accept delivery on dd/mm/yyyy".
    Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Ron

    Hi,
You should be able to do it via route scheduling - I haven't used it myself yet, but see an extract below from SAP Help about Route Scheduling. In Route Scheduling you can specify by customer what dates and times the customer can receive a shipment. The system does backward scheduling based on the date and time that the customer can receive the shipment, and the delivery creation date should be based on the route schedule. The key is to ensure that the route schedule is used to determine the delivery creation date. Like i said, i havent done this before, but it is worth investigating.
    =================================================================================================
    Processing a Route Schedule
    Implementation Options
Wholesale trade customers and stores can receive goods at regular intervals. These delivery rhythms have an influence on the workload in the warehouse. To help delivery planning, the route schedule serves as a tool for planning regular, repetitive customer deliveries on a particular route. At the time of planning, potential deliveries that have not yet been created are grouped in the route schedule. When the deliveries are created, the system can automatically determine a route schedule and assign it to the delivery. All deliveries with the same route schedule and the same date can be processed together in the shipping point. All these deliveries leave the shipping point together at a particular time. They are distributed along the same geographical route.
    · Deliveries for route schedule MO10H leave the shipping on Mondays at 10:00 in the direction of Philadelphia.
    · Deliveries for route schedule MO10M leave the shipping point on Mondays at 10:00 in the direction of Boston.
    · Deliveries for route schedule MO10S leave the shipping point on Mondays at 10:00 in the direction of New York.
You can print picking lists for all deliveries that belong to route schedules MO10H - MO10S together.
Maintenance of the itinerary should be uniform for all the route schedules used. To ensure exact planning, maintain the itinerary for all the route schedules. If rough planning is sufficient in this case, you do not need to maintain the itinerary for a route schedule.
If you do not define any goods accepted times in the customer master for the unloading points of the ship-to party, the system assumes that the goods acceptance is possible at any time. The system determines the delivery time from the departure time in the route schedule plus the required traveling time to the ship-to party, as set in the itinerary (specific move time). This delivery time must be within the goods acceptance time of the unloading point of the ship-to party. If not, the respective route schedule is not determined during delivery creation.
For more information on route schedules, refer to the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Route Schedules.

  • Delivery Split based on Schedule line data

    Hi,
Would need some help in determining how to proceed with splitting delivery based on Schedule line data (Date/Time).
If S.A 1 has line item 10 with two schedule lines SL1 and SL2 which happened in different times of the day, how to split this S.A to two deliveries in delivery creation (thru VL10E).
    Please suggest.
    Thanks,

  • Delivery creation based on Customer PO number

    Hi Friends,
    My requirement is like this
    suppose i have 5 Sales orders - S1, S2, S3, S4 & S5.
    If Customer PO numbers in S1, S3, S5 are P1 &
                                            S2 & S4 are P2.
Then there is a background Job which runs a Program
RV50SBT1 (Transaction VL04) which creates the delivery.
Now the Problem is that Only those sales Orders with same Customer PO Number (S1,S3 & S5 With Cust PO number - P1) should be combined in 1 delivery say D1 and (S2 & S4 With Cust PO number - P2) in another delivery D2.
all sales orders have same shipping point say SHP1. Now i have to write the Logic in some user exit and VL04 creates a delivery and how can i write the logic such that 2 deliveries are created in this case.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
Can a Sales order have more than one Customer PO number?
Is it possible to split the delivery order into as many number of
Customer PO numbers in the sales order?
For the Sales Order type in t-code VOV8, please use the option called "Check purch.order no" and leave this field blank and you can go for multiple Sales Order with a single Customer PO number.
Coming to your second query, Could you please refresh your question as there is lack of clarity on the requirement ? I mean do you mean to split the Delivery Document on the basis of PO number at the item level ? For this you can go for a requirement and attach this requirement in the copying control between Sales Order Delivery Document in VTLA.

  • Delivery split based on schedule lines

    Hello toghether,
I hope someone could help me.
I have the following problem. I need to split a delivery, if some data on the schedule lines is different. That means, if I have 3 schedule lines with different data (except the delivery date) I need 3 deliverys at the end.
Can I do this with a copy routine?
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Andreas

There is a check in Standard SAP which splits a delivery when for different schedule lines if the shipping point is different. You can add your own field checks in a user exit and set up this kind of a split.

  • Send Separate Remittance Advice - Can I send multiple files to single supplier based on custom groups

I want to send multiple emails to single supplier based on the Legal Entity of the invoice paid.
eg. If a supplier has two invoices in a payment, both are paid by different legal entities of invoices payable .. then I want to send to different emails to the same supplier
I am able to create 2 pages in the RTF using <?for-each-group:OutboundPayment;DocumentPayable/DocumentPayerLegalEntityName?>
But I am unable to send 2 emails
    please help..

When I know i'll be transforming or adding additional filters, I prefer to go directly to creating smart objects rather than grouping them first, since the relevant layers are automatically "grouped" by being pulled into the smart object. My thought is that the default name for a smart object (or a group, for that matter) should be the lowest layer on the selected stack that has a non-default name, since in most cases that's the one you'd want to use for the new smart object. I don't know exactly how Photoshop recognizes layer names, but since it knows what number to assign to new layers or individual types of adjustment layers, it should also be able to recognize when a layer name is not a default name.
