Up-to-date program didn't ask me for proof of purchase

Hi, I'm from Indonesia. Last night i filled out the form for Mountain Lion Up-to-Date Program and got to the thankyou page, however, the system didn't ask me to upload my proof of purchase and i have no idea what to do.(I Purchase a rMBP so of course is after 11 June)
So my questions are:
Can I contact apple to ask about this matter? if yes, where can i send them emails?
if they refused my form will they send me notifications of this rejection?

It didn't ask me for proof either, I wouldn't worry about it.
Now you just wait...I submitted my reqeust 23 hours ago and I'm still waiting.

    Hi everyone, I live in Australia and bought a student and teacher edition of cs 6 design standard for a Mac from Officeworks, a major Australian reseller, about a month ago and have been trying to get my serial number emailed to me for over a week.
    I have provided proof of eligibility but am now being asked to provide proof of purchase.
    It took 5 attempts to even send through my proof of eligibility and has taken 3 days (not including the weekend) to get any sort of reply from Adobe.
    I'd like to know why i am being asked to provide this as there is no mention of it being required on Adobe's order fulfillment/instruction page.

    They actually never recalled the models dv95xx and higher and they were never part of the class action although they are prone to some of the same issues as the earlier models. My first suggestion is just to buy a new laptop. If that is not in the cards I would suggest one of the many online shops that fix these models using advanced techniques and can likely get you another year or two out of it for around $100US. If you know how to remove the motherboard so you can ship just it to the shop, the cost can be closer to $60US. They will fix the ball grid array and get you back up and running.

  • Could not register. asked to submit proof of purchase

    I tried to register my Ipod Touch 8gb which I bought on 23rd November. But I could not register it and I am asked to submit a proof of purchase.
    But I have just got an inovice which is not computerised print of it but written with a pen. I wanted to know whether it will be enough to register it or should I ask for a computer print of the invoice?

    This link never worked for me, on the very first page when I fill in all the details it just comes up as if my mac serial number is invalid, have no idea why is that so, but there is another request form where you go in steps (6 or so) and that worked for me.

  • "no email program" – didn't ask to send a mail!

    Opening .pdfs with Reader XI (11.04) on Windows 7 keeps stalling; after a bit of checking and exploring, I found this is because of an alert box that is not showing up on top of the main Acrobat window. That's bad enough, but the alert itself doesn't make any sense to me when I do manage to display it:
    There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.
    I haven't clicked on any sort of Mail to link, and there isn't even a mail-to link in the document.
    Any ideas for persuading Acrobat just to open the document without making a fuss? <g>

    Good questions, Pat – the PC in question has no e-mail program installed, because it's a corporate-policy no-network box where I'm allowed to play with dangerous ideas like structured DITA/XML.
    But why should Reader be complaing about the absence of an e-mail program when opening a .pdf that doesn't even include a mailto: link? Don't tell me it's trying to e-mail the NSA to tell them I've opened a file <rofl>

  • Battery exchange program: is proof of purchase really needed?!

    I own Apple PowerBook G4 and my battery falls under this exchange program.
    I'm from Russia but purchased my notebook in the USA.
    On Apple Support website you write that only my computer serial number and battery serial number needed to participate in this exchange program.
    I contacted Apple Distributors here in Russia (www.apple.ru, www.deepapple.com) about participating in this exchange program. But alongside with these two serial numbers they ask me for "proof of purchase" otherwise they refuse to exchange my battery.
    Why is it so? Why I don't need that "proof of purchase" in the USA and in other countries listed, but need it in Russia? Why 2 serial numbers, the notebook itself, the original PowerBook box with documents package are not enough to exchange my battery?
    Not so long ago I've noticed that my battery changed its shape and color but didn't know why it happened. After reading about this problem and the exchange program on Apple Support website I'm afraid to continue using my Apple computer and I am refused to exchange the battery.
    What have I to do? Please help!

    I live in the US, also where I purchased my PowerBook G4 12". When I received my replacement battery it did not fit, and when I called Apple about they asked me for a purchase date and told me that because I bought my machine from MacMall it would have to be registered with Apple. Now I have to fax AND email them an invoice proving that I purchased it just to get a SECOND replacement battery.
    I don't know why a SN of both machine and battery isn't sufficient, except that maybe they want to know that you actually purchased the machine, not bought it from someone else (maybe the warranty doesn't transfer?) or that it's not stolen?

    I am trying to request the free 'up-to-date' mountain lion update for my retina MacBook however it is asking for my telephone numbe in US format when i'm from the UK and hence not letting me progress any further... any ideas of a solution?

    Reset the device then try the App Store.
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    No data is lost due to a reset.
    When you can, yes, there's an update available.
    Tap Settings > General > Software Update

    im trying to use mail for my email services.
    when i first registerd, i had an apple id, and email address at mac and all that stuff.
    recently, i tried to use a different email address, and ive had nothing but grief.
    1. i dont use mac mail, or me mail, or whatever crap it is now, i never have and i never will. i tried to delete my mailbox for my mac account, as well as deleting the account itself from my preferences > accounts menu, but whenever i click the "get mail" button it keeps asking me to enter the password for:
    “wappit” on SMTP server “smtp.mac.com”
    now, for reasons my feeble mind is yet to comprehend, i am totally unable to enter any password for this that it will accept. ive tried to re set my password several times, and each time it has no effect.
    now i dont want to use this mail server, at all, for anything.
    how do i adjust my mail program so it stops asking me for a password that i dont have, for an account which i cant access, to use a mailbox that i dont want?

    I am unsure as to what you are referring to with respects to my accounts, but ill try and clarify.
    I vaguely remember having to sign up for an apple ID several months ago. since that time, my mail program has been asking me for the password for the server (as i listed it) and i have never been able to enter a password that it accepts. Ill be the first to admit that computers are not my strong point, and especially not Apples, as i used PC's my whole life, but i do write down passwords that i use for accounts.
    so anyways, i never used the mail account, or the apple forums up until a few days ago when i tried to set up another mail server (the one i use) so that i could access it from mail.
    it wouldnt accept the password that i though it should be, so i followed the prompts and instructions to re set my password. again, it didnt change anything.
    finally i created this apple id to access this message board. i hope this clarifies my situation...
    anyways, as per your advice:
    so i went in to keychain, but all i see is the mail server account that i want to be using, and i dont see the mac server account on the list.
