Update quantity in planned receipt in RO

How to update the Planned receipt quantity in Replenshinment order. Is there any BADI for this.
We have some cutom logic to calculate the quantity and we need to change this Planned receipt quantity with this new value.

Hi Lekha,
What is the scenario you have ?
Supplier can manually update planned receipt in SNC WebUI or using SMI planned receipt file download/upload functionality.
If it is EDI supplier then you can ProductActivityNotification_In towards SNC from PI.

  • Return Order Quantity as Fixed / Planned Receipt in MD04

    HI
Can anyone guide me to configure to show Return Sale Order Quantity as Planned or Fixed Receipts in MD04 transaction.
    Thanks

The MRP controller uses the display function (MD04) to review both MRP lists and stock requirements list to analyze the requirements and decide on a course of action  (company designates an individual as a MRP controller and MRP controller is indicated in Material Master record).
It enables the MRP controller to process the requirements and make informed decisions to change and/or approve purchase requisitions and stock transport orders thus triggering the acquiring of materials.
Your material is returnable packing material. The material is available and does not require MRP planning. There is also no need to trigger a requirement to procure the material. Hence this return does not show up in MD04 list.

  • RCV transaction processor not updating quantity delivered for requisitions

We are converting PO receiving transactions using PO details for each transaction. Each PO is having requisition(s) attached to it. Open interface program is not updating quantity delivered for requisitions attached to it but transactions get created successfully.
However, from iprocurement if we receive the items for requisitions it is updating the quantity delivered column.
    Are we missing something??

    Hi,
If you enter the receipt manually in Forms (not in iProcurement) referencing the Purchase Order, is it than behaving the same as the converted receipts?

We are facing an issue when uploading the files in .csv format. After downloading the SMI Planned Receipts, editing (only editable row) and saving it in the same (.csv) format, it gives an error "ERROR DURING CSV FILE PARSING" and the process stops without the data updated.
Please suggest on how we can proceed further.

  • Change component quantity in planned order

    Hi,
Is there any FM or BAPI for changing component quantity in planned order?
    Regards,
    Archna
Edited by: Archna Raja on Sep 22, 2010 12:17 PM

    Hi Srinivas,
I assume, you try to change Manfacturing Order ( Like Process Order, Planned Order etc). If so, the mentioned bapis will work perfectly. However, you have to send right data to bapi BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3. Send to bapi, only what is needed, because if there is any mis-match,system will not update the order.
Few insights from my side are,
    1) Check "ORDER_TYPE" Input Parameter.
                   -     5 Planned Order
                   -     6 Production Order
    2) Fill Only ORDID, ORDER_NUMBER and MASTER_ORDER_QUANTITY in the structure  ORDER_HEAD.
    3) Also, fill the same in the structure ORDER_HEAD_X. Put 'X' only for MASTER_ORDER_QUANTITY.
    Hope this will help you.
    Thank you,
    Santosh KB.

  • "Team Members have submitted x updates to the plan" message in Project 2013

When opening a project in Project Pro 2007 and in 2010, and there were pending updates, a message pops up stating "Team members have submitted x updates to the plan. do you want to close this project and accept these updates". In 2013, this message
doesn't always appear. Is this controlled by a setting or can something else influence this?
    Shimone Bezuidenhout

From my experience in using Project Server 2013 this useful dialog box message does not seem to appear at all or at least I have not managed to provoke it despite processing status updates by a wide variety of ways.
In my experience approving status updates and then opening the schedule does not result in the updates dialog box being displayed.
In the Approval Centre the History for Status Updates includes a column showing the status and the ribbon includes a button that allows you to publish approved status updates. This was also available in 2010 but seems to be more "prominent" in
    the 2013 version.
There are no changes in Time and Task Management settings within Server Settings to provoke this change in the user experience from the previous version of Project Server.
I have taken a look at the "official" changes and enhancements to Project Server 2013 and there is no mention of the handling of Status Updates having been changed compared to previous versions.
Perhaps others on this Forum can shed some light on this feature/experience.

  • Update COPA Sales Planning with LIS informations

    Dear all,
I´d like to know if it´s possible to update the COPA planning with the information in the LIS tables.
My company already introduced the Sales Planning in the LIS system and now it´s required to reply this information in COPA tables. Of course, it´s possible to do it directly in COPA using the plannification tools, however I´ve reading that it´s possible to transfer data from LIS to COPA directly with a short customizing task.
Please, could you inform me about this process?
    Thanks in advance.
    ViTo

    Hi,
You can transfer actual data from LIS to CO-PA using mass processing (MC8G).
    1.  For a mass processing job, make sure you run the 3 steps in the attached note 90292. Program RMCAMUS6 updates the LISPLF table with the PLOBJs (planning objects) of items to be processed. If this job is not run, table LISPLF is empty and you will get error MA367.
    2. Make sure you have specified future and historical periods in your planning type (MC8B).
    3. Make sure you have data in the infostructure and materials in the characteristics.
There is also additional information that could be interesting for you in the notes 80881 and 156972.
    regards

  • How to update CO-PA planning manually  ?

    hello everyone.
i used to upload CO-PA planning by KE13N (upload by excel).
but now i have error that i cannot solved (I request SAP customer message ).
so i have question that i can update CO-PA planning in SAP directly or not ?
if yes, please specify transaction code. and how to.
thank you very much for your time.

No .. ,like CCA.. you cannot plan COPA plannng fully manually ....
You have to use KEPM or KEFC upload .......... Some datas like COPA assessment cycles can be transferred from other modules..
Can you share the problem you are facing in KE13N

  • DO NOT update your alltel plan to Verizon

To put it lightly, Verizon told me to stick where the sun don't shine. I resigned my contract getting new Verizon phone. I have many troubles receiving text from my other family plan phone. Spent over 5 hours on the phone and on hold with so call "customer service". Asked to be transfer to a supervisor and got hung up on. Most recently I tried to add a line to my existing plan. No can do they say, you need to switch to a Verizon plan and spend an extra $50 to get a plan anywhere near your current one. Unfortunately there ain't much I can do but write on this wonderful forum and give anyone out there some incite on what to expect when you deal with the "Nations largest 3G calling network". That is my two cent, I wish I could get a dollar!

    gr8nuguy wrote:
i was also forced to update to verizon plan but they EXTENDED my contract by a year (without my permission or me signing a contract) when we supposed to be allowed to change plans without extending contracts. With them doing that, I have sent a complaint over using the e-mail customer service saying if they dont let me out of my contract without having to pay an E.T.F. they will be in court, because it is illegal for them to extend contract without permission plus me NOT signing a contract. Verizon also "removed" my texting from my plan without my permission and i should let you know, i am the only person allowed to make changes on my account-no other "account managers"
Why did you have to change plans or why would you even want to without getting a new phone???? Or did you get a new phone???

  • Increase quantity of Planned Orders upon creation by MRP

    Hello gurus.
We want to add a certain percentage to the quantity in Planned Orders when they are created by MRP. So that we can have a "cushion" for whatever waste we may have in Production.
We explored the "Assembly Scrap" field in the Material Master, but the problem is that this is added to the costing of the product. And we don't want to alter the standard price of the material.
What we are looking for is way that when MRP runs, and it creates Planned Orders for Production, it can automatically add certain percent (that we can maintain in a custom table).
They want this on the Planned Order so that this also drives component procurement.
Is there a way to this standard? Or perhaps a User Exit I could use so this is included when MRP creates these planned orders?

    Fernando,
You are assuming that you need 'a little bit extra' for every planned order.  Most people think that this approach is unnecessary and leads to creation of non-productive stock/wip.
Assume one part number, with 10 weekly requirements, each for 100 pc, lot for lot, Make to stock, and you decide to implement a method that increases all of these planned orders by 10%.  In your model, you will create 10 planned orders for 110 pcs each, or 1100 pcs; against your 10 requirements of 100pc (1000pc requirements total).
I don't know how variable your production yields are, but let's assume normal (six-sigma) variation is between 90% and 110% of the target quantity (which is why you have inflated the output by 10%).  Let's also assume normal distribution; that half of your execution orders will output bwtween 90% and 100%, and half will output between 100% and 110%.  To cover the absolute shortages for each individual requirement, you don't really need 100 extra pieces in stock, you only need 10 extra piece in stock (and, of course, you must have planned this similarly in all of the dependent materials).  Once the 10 'extra' pieces are in the planning supply chain, you will have covered all of your 'normal' shortages.
In essence, you don't need to increase EACH order by 10%, you only need to cover some multiple of the standard deviation of the yield ONE TIME.  This is the concept of safety stock.  SAP, as you note, allows you to increase supply over demand by a fixed quantity (static safety stock), allows you to actively calculate the quantity of safety stock by using a moving time-based formula (so-called 'dynamic safety stock'), and also allows you to alter the supply so that it comes in earlier than you need it (safety lead time).  These techniques are pretty much standard on any ERP system, not just SAP.  They exist because people have tried lots of other methods to increase service level, and these standard methods work best, which means they give a known way to optimize the balance between cost and service.  In addition, when you use these methods, you don't have to worry about the fact that SAP will not support your 'special' programs, both for today and also into the future when you do system upgrades.
I WILL say that if the cost of the planned material is low, and the costs of the lower level materials are also low, and the service level required is high, then your non-standard method offers one advantage, that it is relatively easy for the users to understand.  Just realize that you will be creating some stock down through your supply chain that will not add to your service level.  In many companies, this is a good way for a planning manager to lose his job.
Finally, regarding your proposal for a batch job that will inflate the qtys of the planned orders.  If you are going to write a program that will do this, you can also write it to 'unfirm' the orders prior to saving.  You should also not forget to consider your lot sizing techniques, should you decide to take this path.

  • KEPM-   in  revenue planning , quantity  not planned

    Hi
In  revenue planning ,  we   plan  for  the  amount and  quantity  of  sales.   Then   we  valuate  the  quantity to get the cost of goods  based on standard cost.     Now   if   only  revenue amount is planned  and   no  quantity is  planned,  then   i  cannot  do  valuation.
My  question is  where   can  I   manually    enter  the  cost   in  KEPM  and  see the same in report in KE30   . Also  let me know  how  to do  the same.
    Thanks
    kamala

    Hi Kamala,
Activating valuation with product cost is an optional step. If you don't want to valuate sales quantity (or you are not planning quantity) with product cost, then you can manually enter the cost in planning. Include the relevant cost value field in the plan layout (using t.code KE15) and then the cost value field will be available in KEPM for you to input the data.
    Hope this helps.
