Update/refresh organizational structure

Hello
I have a problem that seems to be a bug.
I have added in organizational structure new purchasing groups with responsabilities. But when I create a new shopping card, the system does not consider the good purchasing group.
Is there any transaction to refresh the organizational structure ?

Check with these two FMs
BBP_GET_CATEGORIES_F4 - input - user has a attribute for that material group.
BBP_PDH_WFL_GET_PURCH_FROM_ORG - input- purchase gruop object id.
under the purchase group what are the buyers are available.
Morever - Check extended attributes are pointing to correct logical system....for eg product category since you done refresh recently...

Appologies if you saw this message on Friday, because I did originally post it under the general area. I was hoping that if I re-posted it under this area I might get a few more responses. I have included the one response I got, plus my reponse, which does contain more detail about how I ran PFAL - program RHALEINI, and re poses the question about what needs to be created in SRM re an organisational structure, prior to doing an initial load using transaction PFAL.

As per OSS Note 36317, which concentrates on the initial distribution, and I am working through, I have run PFAL in ECC 6 only for object type O. The HRMD_ABA idocs have been successfully transferred to our SRM system, but all are at status 52.
The message for all the idoc segments is:
'You tried to create a relationship from object 01O 50000333 to object 01S 50000846. However, object 01S 50000846 does not exist or is not active in the period from 19000101 to 99991231'.
One thing I haven't done, which might be incorrect, is create an Organizational Plan in SRM. I specifically haven't done this because I am wanting to use external numbering, and therefore thought the organizational plan would get automatically created as part of the initial distribution.
Does any one have any idea how to resolve my problem?

Hello Claire,
It looks like you are replicating "S". After the "O" replication you should run the "S".

I intend to replicate 'S', as described in the note, but nothing has been created with my initial replication of 'O'. As per the note 363187 you are supposed to distribute type 'O' first before moving on to 'S'. Is there anything really fundamental I have missed that you are supposed to do in SRM either before or after the initial set of idocs for type 'O' are brought in?
I have also read the other 2 notes you mention.
Note 363187 stated:
'Perform the following steps in the sequence given if the target system is a
mySAP.com system (SEM, CRM, BBP/EBP):
1. If you want to use the change pointers for later changes, activate
them at once. During initial transport, you should not maintain the
data in parallel in HR because the distribution takes the blocking
mechanism into account, which can cause an incomplete initial
transport.
2. All objects of object type O are distributed with program RHALEINI. As
a transfer mode, the update mode with infotype 1000 selection should
be used.
This way you make sure that all objects of object type O are created
in the target system for existence checks.
3. As previous step but for object type C.
4. As previous step but for object type S.
So far all I have tried to do is up to step 2.
When running RHALEINI I have entered the following:
Objects - Object Type = 'O'
Reporting Period - Today is selected
Transfer Mode - Insert is selected, with the Update Mode infotype set to 1000
I did think making a setting under the Update Mode Infotype seemed a little odd, as I was doing an insert, but is this not what point 2 from the OSS Note is telling me to do?
Any thoughts would be really helpful.
Am I supposed to create a skeleton Org structure before pulling in the ECC 6 structure when I am using external numbering?

Changing organizational structure in SRM

Hi All,
We are in production with SRM 4.0 since 1.1.2006 and using R/3 since 2003.
Our company intends to change the organizational structure (delete, merge, move
organizational structure).
We are going to copy our PROD systems (both R/3 and SRM) to other systems to be able to apply and check the changes.
Problems:
1. How is it possible to replace LogsysXXX to that of the new backend for each attribute in the organizational structure, for every organizational unit? The attributes are not inherited data because they differ from one another, and there are many of them within the org structure (for example the attributes plant, purchasing org and group have the LogsysXXX defined as part of the parameter. There are about 600 users with 50 attributes each in all the org structure; therefore a manual process would not be acceptable.
Note: We didnt copy the HR organization to the SRM org structure.
2. Documents which are being processed and at the time of copy client and were already created in SRM (PO, POR, SC), point to the old backend (LogsysXXX).
How do we change this pointer in existing documents to the new backend system?

I need to transport the organizational structure in HR,
I ordered the Tcode RE_RHMOVE30, the release without problems but when found in the tail of I transport the sample.
Wanted whether data within the directory or file cofile the order and not displayed.

go to transaction code STMS_IMPORT in your production system. Refresh the import queue. If you can not see the request, go to "Extras>Other Request->add".. Enter the request number and click ok. If you still can not find the request that means there is no datafiles and cofiles for that request or you have to bring the data file and cofiles for that request manually. This depends on your transport settings.
But I guess you have moved the request from DEV to QAS. isn't it?..that means ...datafiles and cofiles are there.

first create a program to create the Organization Structure nodes using FM
GUI_UPLOAD
HR_ENQUEUE_OBJECT
HR_DEQUEUE_OBJECT
BBPU_CREATE_ORGUNIT_AND_BUPA
then use second program to update the attributes
RH_GET_ACTIVE_WF_PLVAR
RH_READ_OBJECT
so this can be achived through built in z custom program.

You can upload the Org. Structure using 'OODT - Legacy Data Tranfer' transactipn. For that you need to have this structure in sequentil file.
Use 'OOMV - Create Sequentila file ' to create sequentil file,Download it to presentation server, update the Org. structure, upload it to Application server using transaction and run the 'OODT' using this file.
To download and upload the sequential file use transaction 'CACS_FILE_COPY'.
By seeing this, it may look complecated. But take Technical person help to manipulate sequentila file.

After updating to 10.10.2, my OpenGL applications do not work, and there are problems with window updates/refresh in App Store, and many applications, Google Chrome is unusable.

How do I disable linked smart-object auto-update/refresh?

Working in the CC3D features, I am constantly making changes to my bump map. Every time I step-backwards, or make a significant change to the bump texture (smart object?), CC auto-saves the layer. This specific file is a very very large document (3 gigs in the bump texture layer alone), and the 3D layer has lots of lights and is very complex. This auto-refresh/update really bogs down the time that it would take me to make my changes. I have a very fast machine (I know it's fast, I dont need to list my specs), and I have all shadows disabled.
How do I disable linked smart-object auto-update/refresh?

If you do not like a feature like smart objects there is nothing forcing you to use it. Use some other features to do what you want. Please don't ask Adobe to introduce bug into smart object support.
You could work on your bump maps textures in external files. When your done some time in the future you could edit your project with the smart object layer and use replace smart object. Only then will all smart filters be applied to the smart layer with the replaced smart object.
Or if by CC Auto save Layer you referring to CC Generate feature you can disable that feature.
I have no idea what your referring to when you write "CC auto-saves the layer" being a feature. I know CC Generate will write layers out as web files but that more a Web feature then a 3d feature. Where do you see your layer being saved?

Error while creating the Organization structure.

Hi,
I am trying to create an Organization structure in SRM 5 sytem, I have created a Root for the structure and when i try to click on the Attribute Inheritance or the Check tab below i am getting an error "Start program BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL first (see note 563180 and long text)" but i have replicated one plant from the R/3 system using BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED and the material groups and all the other relevant datas from R/3. I can see in the table BBP_LOCMAP the plant been associated with the relevant company code. I am now struck in creating the organization structure. I am not sure where i am going wrong while creating the Org model.Please give me your valuable inputs to overcome this error.

Description = Locations Successfully Migrated
This tell the system that the locations have been replicated and the error indicating location get all needs be executed will go away.

Problems assigning BP to a position in the organizational structure

I tried to assign a bp to a position in the organizational structure,
but I receive this message "Object cannot be assigned to object CliC
Agent in the period 21.12.2006 - 31.12.9999".
Also, I notice that in the screen, the checkbox where i can select for
the business partner is missing.
However, I can assign a user to the org structure.
Before upgrading, it was working. This is the support packages that it was in.

We are still having a problem with failing iDocs everytime we pass over IT0105 Sty 1 records from our SAP system to E-Recruiting.
Would anyone happen to know where I should start looking to troubleshoot this error message?

Currently both systems require that your password be at least 6 characters long, which makes this message even more perplexing.
Having a better understanding of how RBDAPP01 processes inbound IDOCS in status 64 would help. We are using message type HRMD_ABA. Our data filter looks like....

Calculation of minority interest in matrix organization structure

Hello-
We are currently implementing sem-bcs and have a matrix organization structure in place. We use company code and profit center as consolidation units. Company code being the currency carrying unit.
We are facing an issue in minority calculation-
Let us take the following example -
Investee A - books equity in pc A
Holding entity B books investments in pc B
The above information were entered in AFD and was also pulled in BCS as RFD..
The first consolidation happens as per our expectations.
For subsequent consolidation, the retained earnings account (additions movement) could have multiple profit centers. The system calculates minority interest correctly for combination of retained earnings addition @ PC A. However for all other combinations (I.e retained earnings for PC other than A), the system treats the entire amount as minority interest (even though that's not the case)..

The PC hierarchy is already in place..I maintained Additional Financial Data for the other combinations (of Cons Unit and PC) with 100% share and zero value. The system considered that and calculated minority interest correctly.
I wish to know if the above approach is ok..

Organization structure in extended classic scenario

Hi All
I am trying to configure extended classic scenario on SAP SRM 7.0. I have made the following settings for the same:
1. In SPRO->SRM Server-> Technical Basic Settings -> Define backend system from product category, I have specified target system as SRM system and not ECD system
2. In SPRO->SRM Server->Cross Application Basic Settings-> Activate Extended Classic Scenario, I have selected all the options including "Back end purchasing group responsible"
I have a few doubts.
1. In organization Structure (PPOMA_BBP) Comapny code is corresponding to company code in back end but do I have to create local purchasing organization and local purchasing group i.e. in Functions-> Corresponds I'll have to leave blank. plz suggest
2. Also is IPC configuration mandatory for extended classic scenario
Plz give your suggestion on above mentioned issue

Hi Pawan,
No you should mention Purch Org & Purch Grp also wrt your backend (ECC).
IPC need not be configured separately from SRM 5.0 onwards. To ascertain if IPC is working fine just run the report : RSVMCRT_HEALTH_CHECK. You should see 4 success messages. Else get in touch with Basis to enable Virtual Machine Container (VMC)
