Update Result Analysis not allow for category E(Revenue)

Hi,
While defining update for Result Analysis for Sales Order Costing - Controlling Area - RA Version - RA Key for WIP in Sales ORder - Line ID as Revenue - and category E(Revenue), put Secondary GL against Cost/Revenue in tcode OKG4, system shows message as :
Use only categories "A", "K", and "N" in WIP calculation
Message no. KQ115
Diagnosis
In the valuation method, you chose WIP calculation as the results analysis type.
Procedure
For WIP calculation, you can only update costs ( category K), settled costs (category A), and costs not to be included (category N [revenue], for example).
As a result while doing WIP on Sales order in tcode KKA3 system shows message as "No update of line IDs specified in CO area 0810 version 0 RA key 000004" in message no KJ208.
Here RA KEY 000004 is used for WIP on Sales Order. We have defined 4 line ids which are assigned with RA Key for WIP on Actual Cost against category K (Cost) for 3 line ids and 1 line is used with category A (Settled cost). Same way for RA key Sales Order I have to mention against category E (Revenue). But system does not allow me.

In OKG3 (Valuation Method) there are two different RA Keys I have maintained. RA Key 000002(WIP of Actual Cost) which is used with production order and RA Key 000004(Result Analysis for Sales Order) is maintained with Sales Order. Both the RA Keys have common status which are REL, DLV, PREL and TECO. Is it correct or wrong staus for Sales Order WIP ? Here status number area 1> PREL, 2> REL, 3> DLV and 4> TECO.
Kindly tell me for RA Key 000004(WIP on Sales Order) you have mentioned only 3 status which are REL, TECO and FNBL. Is it necessary to maintained more status for Sales order WIP. What will be its status number and inside parameter setting from RA Type to other indicator setting ?

I am trying to use scroll insensitive resultset in following manner-

but the rs.last() throws this exception-

Hi Vinod,
due to performance improvement when using forward only cursor we changed the default for the resultset type from TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE to TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY starting with JDBC driver version 7.6. So I guess the exception comes from a statement where you didn't set the resultset type while creating it. Please check if all of the statements that you want to be scrollable have set the correct resultset type.

Limit PO Err Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services

Hi,
I am having a problem while replicating free text Limit PO's to R/3 in SRM 4.0 SP 13. The issue is while creating Free Text Limit SC with the "Confirmation and Invoice" option checked in, the PO's get created in SRM but fails while replicating to R/3 and in RZ20 errors as "Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services" although in vendor master i don't have check for the field "GR-Based Invoice Verification".
On the contrary while creating SC with the "Invoice Only" the PO is successfully replicated to R/3 with item category as B for limit orders.
Now i have noticed if i make changes in the vendor master data i.e. check the flag "GR-Based Invoice Verification" then the PO in my first scenario gets replicated successfully and also with respect to the second scenario but it gets replicated in both the scenarios as item category "D".
As far as SRM standard it should have ideally behave like the below:
Limit SC with GR AND Invoice -> item category D
Limit SC with invoice only -> item category B.
Now my question is why do my PO's fail in R/3 in the first scenario and also if i check the flag in vendor master for GR-Based Invoice verification then in the second scenario the item category is "D" instead of "B".

Limit PO :Combination of GR/IR is not allowed for external services

Hi,
we are working in SRM40 sp09 & back end ECC.50
In the Limit PO:
we are able to create Limit PO from a shopping cart.The follow on documents in ECC, it is creating a PO with Item category "B" and the "invoices" are only possible.
The Issue:
The Client wants the Confirmation/GR functionality to be enabled and the Invoices.
but for Limit PO, with follow on documents--"Confirmation" is checked, we have a error messagecombination of GR/IR is not allowed for external services".
Is there any addition configuration or steps involved.

Combination of GR/IR Control not allowed for External Services-SRM PO error

Hi All,
SRM 5.0 ECS R/3 4.6C
We have a service PO, for which an error Combination of GR/IR Control not allowed for External Services is being displayed.
The PO is in error in process at this moment. And is not in R/3
On SRM PO we have Confirm Performance of Service/Goods Receipt checked and Invoice Expected checked.
Confirmation-Related Invoice Verification is not checked. Any thoughts on this!!

During confirmation of operation at co11n (also at co11), got one error massage i.e "actual activity allocation is not allowed for order "
Due to this error confirmation is not possible .
pls help me to solve this problem.

For allocation activity costs, we need to define activity type in KL01 by specifying the unit of measurement of the particular activity type (like machine - Hours etc.). While creating activity type, we will assign a secondary cost element (with category 43) in the activity type through which the activity cost will flow.
After that we will plan for cost center in KP06 (cost elementwise). Then we will plan machine hours in KP26 where we will link the activity type to a particular cost center.
Please give the feed back.

What is message number? Did you assign the usersttus in BS02?

When we do price calculation in KSPI, system checks the planned costs for cost center (in KP06) and also checks the machine hours planned (in KP26) and gives the cost for the particular activity type.

SAP Experts,
Whenever, I delete a delivery, I am seeing a pop-up message with the information message as "Prodcut allocation check not allowed for ATPcat.'BR' and application". Is this a standard functionality. We dont have ATP Check/Allocation check during delivery delete. How come we get this message ?
This is something curious. Can someone help me on this please ??

Delete the ATP category BR from check control for A (Sales document). It seems when you are deleting a delivery the transfer of requirements settings pop this

Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services

I need to uncheck the field GR-Based IV (EKPO-WEBRE) in the SERVICE PO but I receive the message :
"Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services"
I want to allow the user to receive Invoices (MIRO) before the Service Entry (ML81N).

HI,
This is a "hard coded" option and cannot be removed.
If you want to be able to post invoices for services before the GR (acceptance) then you could consider using "normal" POs for these (without item category "D") abd use material masters (DIEN material type) or describe the service in text.
External services POs are only really suited to complex services or services that need a two step GR process (Service entry and acceptance).
Far too many organisations use the service entry sheet option when "normal POs" would be far better.

With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.

Exactly the same question I was about to post!
Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!
Come on Apple!!
Just need an option for the calender event to add to reminder or the old drag to add to reminder functionality back, Please???

Hi ,
First af all identify all such records by creating an error DTP so that the same can be collected in Error stack .
1. Go to the Update tab of the normal DTP and there you can find the create Error DTP option .Click on that .
2. This will take you to the Error DTP screen .Use the option 'Valid record updated reporting possible (request green).You can increase the number of errorneous records to be avoided there only .
3. Please make sure you have activated the option of ' Valid records update reporting possible request green ' both in the Normal and Error DTP .Also the number of errorneous records to be avoided to be mentioned in both the DTP's.
4. Activate the DTP's (Both Normal and Error) .
After this can you please run the Normal DTP again .You can check the Error stack to see the errorneous records .When you double click on any record in the error stack it will thrown an error message from where you can find the exact error with those records .You can rectify these records in the errror stack and then run the error DTP to update the same to the data target.
Ideally these records should be rectified in the Source system .

QM action not allowed for DTP requests in master data and Text tables

Hi,
I have a master data object load request which has failed, returned error in st22 and job finished.
BUT the request has not turned red in the monitor - it's still yellow. That means that I can not delete request nor start new load to infoprovider because it believes a request is still running. But it's not, I've checked both sm37, sm50 etc.
When trying to manually change QM status to 'red' it says 'QM action not allowed for DTP requests in master data and Text tables'
How can I force QM status to red so that I can move on?
Running NW2004s BI (7.0) Patch 15.

I know how frustrating this problem is even in netweaver 7.0 environment. I found a solution for this problem atlast and it works but a not direct way of resolving this issue.
When this request is in yellow status and not able to change / delete the request, its actually in a pseudo status and it is a bug in the program. This request sits in table RSBKREQUEST with processing type as 5 in data elements USTATE, TSTATE and this 5 is actually "Active" status which is obviously wrong.
All we need is, ask your basis person to change the status to 3 in both these data elements and then it allows to reload the delta. Once the delta is successfully loaded, you can delete the previous bad request even though it is still in yellow. Once the request is deleted, the request status gets updated as "4" in table RSBKREQUEST.

yes and no!
using the intended Import from Camera routines, iM converts automatically in its very own AppleIntermediateCodec. so, answer is yes.

a) Apple claims , aic is non-lossy intermediate codec. working with proRes in FCPX taught me, there are even less non-lossy-ness codecs

one thing to be kept in mind when talking about these 'issues':
iM, this 12€, is meant as a CONSUMER toy tool.
it supports AVCHD vers1 (=no 1080/60p, no >24Mbps, no 3D).
fingers crossed, we'll see soon some iM/QT/FCPX update for support of AVCHD v2 ........
the main consumer devices are within the specs, iM supports.
using professional equipments makes usage of professional software (FCPX, AP) optional.
