Updated Class files not generated

Hi ,
I am using Eclipse SDK Version: 3.2.2 and have configured with my project and weblogic server. When the application is running in debug mode if necessary making some fix and when i use ctrl+b the new class file should be generated and immediately the application should refer to the new class file without expecting to restart the weblogic server.
But that's not happening, when i do a ctrl+b the class files are cleaned and new class files are not getting generated,moreover this cleaning is also consuming lot of time.
Can some body help me to resolve this , so that i can save lot of time in restarting the server for every small fix too.
Regards

  • Migration from windows to Linux - JAR files not generating under JAVA_TOP

    Hi DBA's
    Jar files not generating under JAVA_TOP after migration from windows to linux.
    I followed workaround but same in result.
    Workaround
    Run this command. It will give the missing file
    adjava -mx512m -nojit oracle.apps.ad.jri.adjcopy -masterArchive $JAVA_TOP -sync -reportfile javatopfiles.lst
    Then run this command
    adjava -mx512m -nojit oracle.apps.ad.jri.adjcopy -masterArchive JAVA_TOP -sync -mode APPLY
    I have checked in google.

  • Update programme was not generated

    Hi,
    We have a situation where we are planning the Activity in CRM System and this data will be written to the transactional Cubes in SEM.
    The Problem is in the Activity if we change the plan end date while saving the Activity the Cube update programme was not generated in the Transactional Cube as result we have in the CRM online value for a particular period and in the Transactional Cube we have the same value for different Cubes ultimately in the report different periodicity.
    We cannot save the Activity agian as the Activity already in the Executed status and conditions flown to R/3 and also Actuals spent  for the same amount.
    Can anyone suggest how to make the data consistent in CRM online and in the TCubes

    Thanks for the posts.  We do plan to recapture the updates rules and will try to transport again (prod is not changeable).  Was just curious if anyone else had seen this problem.  It is just very odd that you can actually see the code via "Display Start Routine" in the update rules view, but the generated program does not contain the changes.  Actually, I am not surprised since the generated program version is older than the last change to the active rules and the generate program step is not executed in transport application.  Just don't understand why this happened.  Thanks for the comments so far.

  • .Class file not updating

    Hi all,
    I am working on an applet that requires the use of a .class file. So, when I make changes to test.java, I want the changes to move over to test.class, however they are not moving over there. In a sense, my .class file is outdated and is not updating when I save my .java file or run it (as an applet). How can I get this file to update?

    No, build automatically is on, and manually building does not work either.Then put aside the IDE and work with a text editor, javac and the jar tool until you figure out what you are doing. Obviously you are doing something wrong in your compiling and/or deploying steps and it's not productive for anyone, including you, to have us sitting around playing guessing games as to what might be the problem.
    Also from your initial post it is clear that you don't understand the life-cycle of a Java program. Your java file is source, it has nothing to do with what happens at runtime. It is only the compiled class file that is important.

    Hi
    I have another problem with converter. Could you help me please again if you have the time?
    I have created a directory when I save the class files generated by javac. After That , I use convert in this way:

    packageaid="0x01:0x01:0x01:0x01:0x01:0x01:0x01:0x01:0x02:0x00"

    The code I am using is working fine in a class file but wont work in my jsp.
    <%@page import="java.util.*,java.lang.String"%>
    Date date = new Date();
    String dateString = String.format("%tb%td",date,date);
    System.out.println(dateString);Any ideas?

    I get excactly the same problem.
    If compile the the JSP in Netbeans it works fine, however when Tomcat attempts to compile it into a servlet at runtime, I get the same error as described.
    This is the line in JSP that fails:
    <code>Some more text <%= String.format("%s","Bizarre") %> </code>However this one works OK:
    <code>Some more text <%= "Bizarre".substring(3) %> </code>Its almost as if Tomcat is compiling under JDK 1.4.2 or something but I don't have any other JDK or JRE installed; only 1.5.
    I suspect it may be a Tomcat setting that's causing a 1.4 code compliance.
    In Netbeans, if I go to the project properties -> Sources, at the bottom is the "Source Level" drop down list. If I change this to 1.4 and clean and build the whole project I get the same error when the jsp (or any class with this construct) is compiled by NetBeans.
    Note: I am using the Netbeans 5.0 and Tomcat and 5.5.9 co-bundle which I downloded from the Sun website.
    Can anyone help?

  • Why is U51 blocking individual class files not in jars but U45 accepted them?

    Let me answer the "why do you need individual class files?" question first. We have a rather large applet based application with a current client-side minimum jar download size of 1.8 MB. If we put ALL of our class files into jars, that size will probably double. Most users only use a small portion of the class files for their particular tasks. Which of the class files they use depends upon the tasks they perform. Having ALL users download ALL the classes, albeit compressed in jars, is extremely time consuming and a major problem after application updates due to the large number of users and the network load it would cause.
    Jar file manifest:
    Permissions: all-permissions
    Codebase: *
    Application-Name: MyApplication
    Application-Library-Allowable-Codebase: *
    Caller-Allowable-Codebase: *
    Trusted-Library: true
    We have 11 directories with one containing the applet and main client application code. The other 10 directories contain class files relating to the various sub-applications in the system. The system has a third-party runtime jar file, too.
    We have a private network and servers for our business so the exposure is small. This is a screen-scraping, reformattring application that does no real data processing so doesn't need the same security as a true data processing application. Since we are not open to the Internet and of limited security risk, we chose to keep a more simplified structure.
    This all worked under 1.7.0_45. I read the security guide and it was my understanding that these attributes in the manifest would also work for U51. Apparently not. Looking at the guides, now, it appears they have been changed sometime last year regarding mixed-code to mean jars with certificates and jars without certificates. The support for individual class files appears to have been removed. If this is true, then there should have been a beta of the U51 code because the rules seem to have been changed since the last release or there is a new bug.

    This is exactly my same problem. My app (and applet) is about 5 MB if I consider all the classes and libraries used by the app. (I mean 5MB is the size of the jar file). I can't ask customers to download 5 MB every time they want to access the program.
    We need java ask code signing for the principal applet but then we must have the possibility to run single class files as needed.
    Help us all please.
    Thanks Paolo

  • I am able to compile a java file in eclipse inspite of compilation errors shown in eclipse and a .class file is generated

    Hi,
    I had a java file with compilation errors as shown in eclipse IDE.
    But the class file is still generated in the classes folder on building and pressing clean the project.
    I confirmed that the class file has an updated time stamp and also that a System.out.println() statement that i added was indeed printed out when this class was encountered during the running of a web application in which this class was called somewhere.
    (The java class has no subclasses and it is a single class with public modifier).
    How does it happen so?
    Regards,
    Karthik.

    As far as I know, the java code is compiled in Eclipse as soon as you save it. i.e. press CTRL+SHIFT+s
    as far as the build is concerned, in case you have a build file where you specify how to make a jar file, the location the jsr file is to be placed, only then you have to build the project. However again, as far as just simple compile is concerned as soon as you save the files are compiled. And show you the errors if any in the tasks window.

    The following is from the jwsdp-1.1 tutorial at http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.1/tutorial/doc/
    The tutorial for 1.2 is not available yet.
    Seems you need to modify your config.xml to have a <service> element.
    The wscompile tool reads the configuration file (config.xml), which contains information that describes the web service. The basic structure of config.xml follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <configuration
    xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jax-rpc/ri/config">
    <service> or <wsdl> or <modelfile>
    </configuration>
    The <configuration> element may contain exactly one <service>, <wsdl>, or <modelfile> element.
    The <service> Element
    If you specify this element, wscompile reads the RMI interface that describes the service and generates a WSDL file. In the <interface> subelement, the name attribute specifies the service's RMI interface, and the servantName attribute specifies the class that implements the interface. For example:
    <service name="CollectionIF_Service"
    targetNamespace="http://echoservice.org/wsdl"
    typeNamespace="http://echoservice.org/types"
    packageName="stub_tie_generator_test">
    <interface name="stub_tie_generator_test.CollectionIF"
    servantName="stub_tie_generator_test.CollectionImpl"/>
    </service>
    The <wsdl> Element
    If you specify this element, wscompile reads the service's WSDL file and generates the service's RMI interface. The location attribute specifies the URL of the WSDL file, and the packageName attribute specifies the package of the classes generated by wscompile. For example:
    <wsdl
    location="http://tempuri.org/sample.wsdl"
    packageName="org.tempuri.sample" />

  • SWD file not generated

    I am new to flash and I need to debug a movie from within a
    browser. I have successfully published the movie with "permit
    debugging" selected, embedded the movie in the webpage, and
    connected to it with the debugger. However, the lack of an SWD file
    keeps me from being able to set breakpoints. I don't know what I
    need to do to get the SWD to be genereted - I thought it would be
    if I selected "permit debugging" (even set a password), but it was
    not generated. I am using the trial version of Flash CS3
    Professional.
    Thanks,

    I should also add that I am on a Mac and I've run through all
    the updates.

  • Problem-Starting InDesign Server for use with CORBA / Java and IOR file not generated

    I'm trying to start Indesign Server cs3 for use with Corba, as per the document the server should generate the start-up message like this..
    InDesignServer -iorfile c:\ior.txt -pluginpath Server\Corba
    [server] Writing IOR to ... and it should generate the IOR file
    but I'm getting the usual start-up message and the IOR file is not generated, I hope IOR file is required for Java component interaction with IDS, kindly help me to solve this.
    Thanks in advance.

    [From Susan Doan, who is having trouble posting to the forum today}:
    It looks like the example command line in the "Intro to InDesign Server" pdf is using curly quotes instead of straight quotes. If you copy the command from the pdf and paste it in your command shell, it won't work because of the curly quotes.
    You can run the command without the quotes as Rich has said, but, as will all command lines, if your path contains a space, you will need to put quotes (straight ones!) around the path.
    Thanks,
    Ole

  • EDI  X12 scenario,deq.bat file not generating any trace file.

    hello,
    i have worked on the EDI X12 over internet(AS2) Transaction,everything is working fine until the creation and deployment of configurations on both Acme and GlobalChips servers.But During the Verification of Purchase Order Transactions when i am running deq.bat file on both Acme and GlobalChips servers the dq script is not generating any t1.trc trace file.
    There is no problem with the Trading Partners on both servers they are on upstate,can anyone help me with this issue please,its very urgent.
    note: where will be the web.xml file for transportServlet located,can anyone provide me with the file path.
    thnx

    Hello Sinkar,
    Thanks for your reply,Finally i have managed resolve the issue(deq.bat file is generating t1.trc file) successfully.But there are certain other issues regarding this topic in which i need your help.
    When i am running the deq.bat file in command prompt on both acme and globalchips servers it is showing the following status
    D:\oracle\OraJ2EE\ip\tutorial\X12\runtime&gt;deq.bat
    D:\oracle\OraJ2EE\ip\tutorial\X12\runtime&gt;java oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.data.IPDeq
    ueue ipdequeue.properties
    IPDequeue start...
    Dequeue from IP_IN_QUEUE
    and it also generated a t1.trc file on both servers,but the prompt in which i have run deq.bat is not giving any further message
    i.e some thing like IPDequeue end.
    and not even coming back to the original path i.e
    D:\oracle\OraJ2EE\ip\tutorial\X12\runtime&gt;
    and even if close the prompt it is not showing anything in t1.trc file and if i am running the enq_850.bat in acme server it is showing following stat
    D:\oracle\OraJ2EE\ip\tutorial\X12\runtime&gt;enq_850.bat

    ueue enq_850.properties
    IPEnqueue start...
    IPEnqueue end.
    D:\oracle\OraJ2EE\ip\tutorial\X12\runtime&gt;
    and its didn't showing anything in the t1.trc file generated on the globalchips server and same thing is happening when i am running enq_855.bat file on the globalchips server its not showing up anything in the trace file generated on the acme server.
    I have tried one thing that u have suggested for such kind of issue(t1.trc empty) in your forums
    1.) I have applied the patch #6673231 and it is showing the Document Routing Id Field in the B2B UI,but when i am completing all the process in B2B UI and running deq.bat file the result is still the same,the IPDequeue is not ending
    But a certain change has taken place after applying the pat
    D:\oracle\OraJ2EE\ip\tutorial\X12\runtime&gt;java oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.data.IPEnq+
    ueue enq_850.properties+

    Action Name = null
    IPEnqueue end.+

    IPEnqueue start...+
    Action Name = null
    IPEnqueue end.+
    C:\oracle\OraJ2EE\ip\tutorial\X12\runtime&gt;+
    I Think that no action is taking place in both the cases
    bcoz its showing this Action Name = null+
    if that is the case what is the problem here
    I have also set oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.DocumentRouting=true.
    but the situation is still the same,please read the above problem carefully and suggest a solution which would be fruitful for my further progress.
    thanks
