Uploading the BOM

Hi everyone
I am having a problem in uploading BOM through BDC program.
It is working perfectly and Uploading the BOMs Successfully only the BOMs which are having the Components 18 or less than 18.
If the BOM has 18 or more than 18 components, the control is not going fo rthe further fields....
And it is showing an error message Field RC29P-POSTP(19) does not exist in the screen SAPLCSDI 0140.
Please do the needful....

Hi,
You need to scroll by page down. Not sure whether you have implemented this in your BDC. However it this is a one time activity, just use LSMW BI method for loading the BOM.

Note 1328706 unfortunately didn't solve my problem :(.
I want to import (add) warehouses (codes: Cl_K and Sev_Adm1) to Item with RecordKey 3

BAPI to Upload the data

I have to upload BOM Data from legacy system( Excel .csv format ) to SAP. I can do that with BDC but client requirement is that i have to send data by using BAPI. I dont know how to do. After long search i found BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE is the function module i have to use.
There are many tables and structures in that Function Module.
I have many doubts..
1. In the BOM there are many items ( components ) for a material.. How can i link that this Header ( Material ) has many items ( Components ) in BAPI.
2. Is there any possibility to see the screens ( As if in Call transaction ) to see whether the data is correctly filed or not.
3. How can i see the error messages by using BAPI.
please let me know how to use the BAPI.

2. No, with a BAPI you cannot see the screens during processing. After it is called you can display the BOM and check that the data is loaded correctly.
3. You can see the error messages of the BAPI by looking in the RETURN structure. This will contain details of any error, warning, information, and success messages generated during the creation of the BOM.

How to increase the BOM Alternate field in CS01

Hi,
We are interfacing between SAP and third party PLM software (Innovator) to bring the BoM date for CS01 transaction. the third party PLM is having 3 digit version, whereas IN CS01 the BoM alternate takes only 2 digit . kindly suggest the best solution to map the date to CS01 requirement (the RFC are working fine and we are uploading thrrough BDC)

I think when uninstalling you may also have to choose (tick) to delete the preferences and other personal data like the bookmarks, stored passwords etc. to erase completely. If you are installing afresh, please try right-clicking on the file and '''Run as administrator''' to install. And when uninstalling, please also make sure choose to delete all data and also manually delete any '''Mozilla''', '''Mozilla Firefox''' or '''Firefox''' from %appdata%, %localappdata% and %programfiles%. You can open a location by typing for eg. %appdata% in the '''Run''' box (Windows key + R). You may also have to check the '''VirtualStore''' folder in %localappdata%. Files in the VirtualStore can be problematic. I think a clean installation may help.

Yes. I would clarify your statement about the "shared" iTunes Library though. If you want each iOS device to have its own music library, you should create separate user accounts for them. Read:

I forget to say you cannot open the PDF in AL11 and for that you need some configuration, i think it can be done using content server,not sure completely please wait for some more suggestions.

Have you copied the NWDS installed stuff from other system and working on that?
Anyway, you can go about this way to upload your par.
Goto System Administration -> Support -> portal runtime -> Administration console -> Browse and add your par -> say upload. Thats it and your par is uploaded:-).

Hi,
If you want a reply in one line, it would be SAP R/3 does not supoort this feature.
You will have to go for APO module.
There are few things which can be done in R/3 side, as in maintaining a scope for MRP run in OM0E, maintaining special procurement key etc etc, but all these will not do any check of stock in another plant & can only help in a very limited way if all any for your specific need.
But SAP R/3 provides a cross plant evaluation via MD48 to know the stock & demands at all plants, this can help only for evaluation purpose.

That is very strange... I wonder if it has something to do with the firmware or some sort of error. I haven't ran into this but at the shop I work at I've ran into several firmware errors on iPhone 4 all the way through the 5s. Maybe its something as simple as putting a different part of the code into iTunes... I know you can something of this extent. I would look up error 1669, I know you have tried a number of things but look it up on the forum and see what fixes are available so that you may be able to restore it properly without all this garbage you are running into. Just a thought for you.
