  • Urgent: End of Year Config Reset

Our posting period setup has the 2008/09 periods linked to a period category called 20052006.
The subsequent GL Determination for the category 20052006 is incorrect.
I have now corrected the determination linked to this category, however we are unsure whether this is the only area that will have been affected.
Are there likely to be further implications such as reporting, posting etc?
Also is there any impact of the category being labeled 20052006 rather than 2008/2009 or is this simply a label?
Any help would be greatly appreciated on this urgent matter!

  • Urgent PO short fall information

    Hi all,
Here suppose i create one PO of 10 Quantity. And i received 5 quantity of it.
Now there is short fall. Vendor is not going to deliver rest 5 quantity.
Here i want to close PO in Short fall. So i will go to ME22N and in Delivery Tab i will select Delivery Completed.
So how it will effect for further process. What about rest remaining amount? how it will show in report?
    Regards,
    Zubin.S.Shaikh

    hi,
when u short close the po, by delivert completion tick, u r po shall not show in open list of PO's (WE101- selection parameter).
how ever u can create the GR by mentioning the same PO.
the best option is to manually reduce the PO qty, or mention the last delivery date in PO, along with short closing be activating the delivery completion tick

There are some additional dependencies for this patch that were not
originally communicated. Applying the EOY Phase 1 patch first satisfies
these dependencies. If there is a need to apply this patch prior to
applying EOY Phase 1 we are exploring possible alternative
pre-requisites and will send out a notice late next week with more
    information.
    * 11i one-off Patch 6399100 released 21-Sep-2007
    * R12 will be part of Release Update (RUP) 12.0.4
Oracle will de-support the Live Checkwriter and Deposit Advice for US
and Canada beginning with 2007 EOY Phase 1. Archive Checkwriter and
Deposit Advice will continue to be supported. What this means is that
new code changes and bug fixes will not be tested on the Live
Checkwriter and Deposit Advice. Additionally, enhancements made to the
Archive version will NOT be made for the Live version.
    Desupport of Standard Tax Interface
Oracle no longer supports the Standard Tax interface. Taxes will
continue to be calculated and tax rate changes from the Vertex Data
Updates will continue. New code changes and bug fixes will not be tested
on the Standard Interface and we cannot guarantee that all functionality
will continue to work. Additionally, enhancements made to taxes will NOT
be made for the Standard Tax Interface. We strongly recommend that you
upgrade immediately to the Enhanced Tax interface.

  • Event Back ground scheduling information

    Hello Guru's
The start variant in the process chain has after event SAPXXXX. This is a user defined event. The process chain first executes the event and then executes the rest of the steps in the process chain. I would like to know the jobs performed by this event. What are the jobs or programs it is executing in the R/3 side and the BW side. And transaction code where we could see the entire code of the events.
Urgent need of the information,Ur Help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sri.

in SM37 , you have a option for based on event to find jobs.. just keep job name * ..at the bottom After ABAP program...you have for event name tooo.. give the event name you are interested in it..and you find out all the jobs that are waiting for this event to trigger.
you would only get event name in SM64 but not detailed info abt programs or jobs in SM64

  • [URGENT] Business Account Closing Issue

I am the owner of a company which uses PAID skype accounts for business purpose. I recebtly received an e-mail from skype that tells me these accpunt are going to be closed (deleted) in 24 hours. Please contact me urgently.
Personally identifiable information redacted for privacy.

Hi, bodyinoita, and welcome to the Community,
Please contact Skype Customer Service to resolve this.  Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
Here are a few extra notes to guide you along the way ...
You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. When you complete the web-form and click Submit, your information is relayed to Skype and you will receive a reply via e-mail unless you are transferred to start an instant message chat session with a Customer Service agent.
If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.

  • URGENT : I am really pissed now

Dear Blackberry Users & if any one from the company's reading this post, please send a remedy for the problem that I am facing from past few weeks as it's my fourth handset that I got replaced from my dealer becasue of the constant screen flickering problem.
If anyone can suggest why it's happening would be a great help.
My Screen works properly & whenever I compose a message or add a contact or check my pictures,my screen turns full black without any notification & then comes back to its normal position & again after few intervals whenever I use it it turns black again 2-3 times after recovering to its normal state.
Blackberry people & their service center says that it's a hardware manfacture problem & I should go for a replacement. This' my 4th replacement now & I am facing the same problem with my BB Curve 3G,prior handsets that I used were BB 8520 & I faced the same problem.
BLACKBERRY PEOPLE or if there representatives worldwide have read this post of mine,do help me on this as I am tired of replacements.
Just drop me one genuine soluation to it.Earlier I was using my BB curve 8520 which I bought 6 months back & I am happy with it as I have never seen any screen goes blank while using applications.
Some people says it's BB Protect problem, but that can't be justifgied as I use BB Protect already on my 6 month old BB 8520 handset & It's working smoothly without any complaints.
I am really pissed beacuse of this SCREEN automatically going blank while u compose the sms ,add a contact or compose an email or look into pictures.
I need a genuine solution to it as don't give me the **bleep** that I my be pressing the ALT key accidentally as I know how each key functions.
Serious & genuine reply needed urgently.
Removed personal information to comply with Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions of Use.
    Warm Regards,
For Blackberry People & my sampathy to those who are facing the same problem"SCREE BLANK & blinks 2-3 times & comes back to its normal state & the cycle goes on & on as u use ur handset"

    Hi
This is a user-only forum so whilst it might be visited by someone from RIM, it most certainly can't be guaranteed.
That does not mean that a solution to your problems will not be forthcoming; it may well be.
    aman_vashishtha wrote:
it's my fourth handset that I got replaced from my dealer becasue of the constant screen flickering problem.
There is almost certainly some issue between the OS and an app on THIS device. Just because it hasn't materialised on another device doesn't preclude this being the cause. Whilst themanufacturing process of any kind of product can result in a faulty batch, its pretty inconceivable to believe that you have hit upon that batch.
So, when you get a replacement, do you put the very same copy of the OS back on? (Either personally or at the dealer) and do you load any apps already stored on a backup? Me personally; I would have ditched all apps  and downloaded to PC, a brand new version of the OS after deleting the existing stored OS. Further, I would also delete/uninstall from the PC any trace of any RIM PC software. Then with no remants of the past, I would introduce new copies of the apps, 1 at a time only if the device was fully functioning. Soon as an app screwed the device, I would repeat the entire process WITHOUT that particular app.
There are many versions of the OS available and a vast number of apps; maybe sufficient that no 2 devices are alike.
Anyway, that was srerious and genuine thought and guidance, here is the process:-
This what I did to completely wipe my BB. I wrote this before starting and printed it off.
If your device is functioning, perform a backup now if you haven't already done so saving the file to a place and in a name that you can easily locate on computer.
I then uninstalled DTM and then deleted all other references to BB/Rim in Windows Explorer thus removing the OS for the BB from the computer in order to ensure that the version I would reinstall would be a brand new downloaded version.
Get the latest Desk Top Software (DTS)
    http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/?CPID=OTC-DSKTPSW&cp=OTC-DSKTPSW
and install it on the computer.
Get the correct latest version of the OS
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    and save it to computer.
If the PC does not recognize the BB, You need to connect the via the USB cable. Then pull the battery from the BB.
With the battery pulled, connect the BlackBerry to the USB connector and as SOON as you see USB-PIN:UNKNOWN hit Next. You have to be quick. From there you can put the battery back in (make sure you install the battery or else when the OS update is completing and the device disconnects from the computer to reboot, it will lose the power provided by the USB connection and you will get an error and have to do it all over again!).
If you don't get it right the first time, try again (unplug from USB, pull battery, connect and hit Next while USB-PIN:Unknown is showing). You have to be fast and the timing is key, so it may take you three or four attempts.
To erase all the data on your BlackBerry device, complete the following steps.
    1) Download JL_Cmder from http://www.4shared.com/get/oqP9V-2Q/JL_Cmder_v19.html
    2) Install JL_Cmder to computer.
    3) Double check you have already backed-up the BB. If you DO NOT, you will lose ALL data.
    4) Make sure the DTS is closed and plug in the BB to computer via USB
    5) Go to the JL_Cmder on your computer and double click it to start. Now,this may take a few tries to connect, so keep trying until it does.
    6) On the first screen, Press any key to continue.
    7) Now, if your device uses a password, enter it now. If not, press "N"
    8) Press 4 to initiate the WIPE
    9) Press "Y" to continue
    10) Now type "blackberry" to continue
    11) On the BB you will see a white screen with a'507' Error. Don't worry, this is what you want! You are now ready to install the OS.
Launch the new Desk Top Software on the computer
1). On the home screen of the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, click Device > Update my device.
2). Click View Other Versions. Click the version of the new OS you previously downloaded.
3). Click Install. The DTM will install the OS and then provide you with a list of applications to install. If you have had difficulties with an app, do not install it.
Do not disconnect the device until the whole process is completed and the device has rebooted.
After 10 minutes reboot again by removing the battery whilst powered-on and leave it out for a couple of minutes.
Leave it again for 10 minutes. You should now have a fully functioning BB!

  • We are in urgent need of the end of support date for Firefox 3.6. I have been unable to find this information anywhere. Can someone please provide the date, or a link to the location on the Mozilla web site for lifecycle dates?

We are currently supporting an older application which will no longer be patched for future browser releases. We need the end of support date, so we can plan accordingly. Any assistance is truly appreciated.

Hi Tony, and thanks for the reply. I was hoping that might be the case.
Does Mozilla not publish lifecycle dates for Firefox? The reason I am inquiring further, is that our intention is to have upgraded the product we are currently running by late August of next year. I was trying to determine if 3.6 would be supported through August of 2012. I probably should have been more specific with my initial post.

For the wifi, I can't figured out for the life of me what's causing our devices (e.g., our Nexus 7 tablets) to have a link speeds of 65Mbps one minute and then drop down to 5 or even 1.  The same situation was happening with my HTC Incredible II phone, but I think that connection was tapping out at 54Mbps.  The bottom would just drop out of the signal for some reason.  Other times we couldn't even connect back in.  The devices would say they're not in range even when they were in front of the router.  Not sure if I fubarred the router install or what?  I just swapped out the current Fios router for this new one.  Pretty straightforward.  At first, I logged into the router software with the defaults, but then I changed the the username, pswd, SSID, etc. to match what I used previously.  I thought it was working fine the night of the install but not so much after Fios got bumped up in speed the following day.  Maybe just a co-inky-dink?
I know you never get the same speeds compared to a wired pc but this seems worse (wifi-wise) than before the new router came along.  I've read that the 'N' routers can be finicky to set-up to run properly.  Maybe a setting or two is off?
I don't know if the fact that my son's netbook's wifi card is only b/g compatible would slow our network down?  At this point I'm grasping at straws!  I talked with tech support last night for 40 mins to no avail.  I got the usual story about wireless devices running slower than wired ones, that these smaller devices aren't capable to maintaining higher speeds (which I'm not sure I agree with 100%), the more active devices you have slows down your network, etc, etc.  I get all that.  But something is going on or actually, it's not.  LOL!
Why I don't agree with the above statement I mentioned is because I have my tablet at work now and the wifi speed is 54Mbps and it's constant.  So it seems to have no problems with this speed, unlike what I was told over the phone.
Let me know if I can provide any further technical details that'll make it easier to help diagnose our wifi issues.
Thanks for listening to me whine ,

    Thanks for the help, Hubrisnxs.
Here's an update since I got home:
Nexus7 (N7) took a min or so to connect to wifi when I got home.  When it did, speed said 65Mbps.  So I ran speedtest.net and got 27/20.  Shortly after that I tried again but it was hesitating.  I checked the speed and it was down to 5Mbps.  Brought it upstairs to router and pc, and eventually it was back to 65.  Ran speed test a few more times with similar results.  I did notice that the connection would intermittently come and go.  Not sure why.  Looking at the wifi section  on my N7, it says our network is out of range and the N7 is 2' from the router.  Every now and then my network will go to the top of the list and it'll say it's obtaining ip address, then secured with wpa/wpa2 psk and it's locked in.  So I hit the connect button and it's out of range again.  Of course, while I was typing it decided to connect after 10-15 mins of trying/nothing.  Says, signal strength excellent, 52 Mbps.  Spoke too soon.  It's off again.  Crap!  Back on again but speed was 19, now 5.
I did check router settings and this is what I have:
    Performance mode ('n')
    WPA2 AES
    Channel 1
    nonbroadcasting SSID
Maybe I'll try channel 11 next.....
Just for the heck of it, here is the results from verizon speed test on our pc (wired of course):

  • V12 (GA) switch issues. DB is stuck in creation state, automated backup issues, no monitoring data 1h

    Hi,
On Friday we have switched databases to V12 version as it was announced that they are now generally available, but I have doubts that everything was tested by Microsoft, as immediately we have several issues:
    1. We had automated backups scheduled on all DB. On Sunday everything started to not work properly. There were more than 10 backup databases created like AutomatedSqlExport_X_20150201T050000Z and emails send that backup cannot be created. We had to
    remove them manually except one.
    2. One of the backup database is still in creating state from yesterday so we cannot remove it.
    3. We have turned off all automated backups in Azure Portal, but I'm not sure if they can be turned on again. I do not want to have 20 DB billed every week as autometed scripts are not working properly.
    4. After switch in Management Portal only last hour metrics are available. Switching to 24h or more returns all zeroes. When do we count on the fix?
PS. tracking ID of db that is in creating state: 44530DC6-B174-4FAA-A4D6-2C01CA20CB85
    Regards,
    Rafal

    Hi Gluwer,
    Thanks for posting here.
I suggest you to open a support case as this needs more back-end information which cannot be discussed over the forum.

  • A/P Down payment invoice Problem

    Hi all,
    I have the ff. scenario
    1.     Create PO
    2.     Create A/P DP invoice(20%) against this PO
    3.     Create outgoing payment against A/P DP invoice of 20%
    4.     Create A/P DP invoice(30%) against this PO
    5.     Create outgoing payment against A/P DP invoice of 30%
    6.     Create A/P DP invoice(60%) against this PO
    7.     Create outgoing payment against A/P DP invoice of 60%
    8.     Create a regular A/P invoice against the 3 DP
Problem 1. We have exceeded our payment against the PO w/c in this case is 110%, but SBO allowed to post these Down payments. How can we prevent overpayment base on a specific PO?
Problem 2. Since we have overpayment what we should do on 10% overpayment?
    Please help.
    Fidel

    Hi Fidel,
Sorry for the late post, quite a busy day for me today.
    edit - start
Errrrr, line 12 actually should be IF @iBaseType (less-than-symbol)(greater-than-symbol) 22
Why this forum remove those 2 symbols whenever I write them? Anyway, you should understand it, I mean "IF @iBaseType is not equat to 22" in SQL script. Just curious why SDN automatically remove whenever those 2 symbols adjacent to each other, weird...
And the same thing apply to line 25, should be AND TargetType (less-than-symbol)(greater-than-symbol) 19

  • Slow DSL and inconsistent connections

Hi, I've got what appears (from what I've read in these forums) to be a common situation: have had Verizon DSL for years, no problems. Suddenly, within the past two months, my speed has dropped (I am paying for 1.5-3 mbps) and the internet connection drops sometimes for no reason. This became a big problem at the end of May when my final papers for grad school were due via email, and is still a problem now when I'm trying to work on my thesis with a number of online sources. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
I have an Actiontec GT704WG running on a "simulated dry loop" as it has been doing for at least two years, and have made several service calls to Verizon regarding this issue. The first call, I was told to replace the phone line between the router and the phone jack. I did so, and speeds improved for about a day. On subsequent calls, I have just been told to turn the router on and off. I do, and it works for a little while, but I don't feel like I should have to be doing this multiple times a day. Here's what Verizon's speed test just told me:
    Analysis information:
    Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done
    SendBufferSize set to [132480]
    running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 772.70Kb/s

Java data: Vendor = Apple Inc., Version = 1.6.0_24
    ------ Web100 Detailed Analysis ------
Client Receive Window detected at 524280 bytes.
    Cable modem/DSL/T1 link found.
Link set to Full Duplex mode
Information: throughput is limited by other network traffic.
    Good network cable(s) found
    Normal duplex operation found.
Web100 reports the Round trip time = 1433.4 msec; the Packet size = 1440 Bytes; and
    No packet loss was observed.
This connection is sender limited 93.19% of the time.
This connection is network limited 6.81% of the time.
Web100 reports TCP negotiated the optional Performance Settings to:
    RFC 2018 Selective Acknowledgment: ON
    RFC 896 Nagle Algorithm: ON
RFC 3168 Explicit Congestion Notification: OFF
    RFC 1323 Time Stamping: ON
    RFC 1323 Window Scaling: ON

Information: Network Address Translation (NAT) box is modifying the Client's IP address
Server says [71.246.121.164] but Client says [192.168.1.65]
Please help, this is driving me nuts and I am tempted to look elsewhere for a more reliable internet provider. Thanks!

Despite missing some upstream from the length of your line (causing lower margins), your line seems to be fairing pretty well. Only a few uncorrectable errors with whatever else was occurring from perhaps noise, being corrected through Interleaving. The drops may be from the low margin on the upstream and downstream. If you happen to have access to a NID, see if you can connect your DSL modem to it and obtain the new statistics it shows. This will let us rule out at least your home's wiring as being the cause of the disconnects.
As for the speed issues, due to the lack of errors on the line, it looks like you might be suffering from issues related to the Junipers. Once we get some results from a NID test if it is possible, I'll send you some information on how to contact someone who can get you off of the Juniper, if possible, and onto a Redback router.
