[Urgent] How to connect RMI Server from EJB
I'm trying to connect to an RMI server from an EJB. I have client code for the
RMI Server that already works standalone from the command line. However I am having
configuration issues with webLogic 6.1 allowing the connection to go through.
Standalone I create an RMISecurityManager, inside of the EJB I cannot do this.
How do I set up WL6.1 to allow RMI connections?

how to change web server from inbuilt Tomcat to IIS in already configured Cold Fusion 10
You just need to run the Web Server Configuration Tool to connect ColdFusion to IIS. It can be found in the ColdFusion program group off of the Start menu. Be sure to run it "As Administrator".

Try running netstat to see whether another process is actually running at
the given address/port.
Also check using ifconfig/ipconfig or directly checking /etc/hosts file of

Try running the manageed server directly (as sort of admin) by not passing
the admin server url and bringing it just like an admin server.
See if this works. If it works, then soemthing wrong in the way the admin
server is receiving the request/security credentials from managed server.
Also make sure both managed and admin servers are on the same patch/service
pack level.

How to connect oracle database from tuxedo
Hi,
How to connect oracle database from tuxedo.
If any one can help me.
Regards,it depends on configuration your going to choose, there are two ways--
- Using X/Open standards, for this
you have to make an entry of Resource manager in $TUXDIR/udataobj/RM file.
Then in UBBConfig file in GROUPS section u have to set Openinfo.
It also depend on which database you are going to use.
In your service now you need to call tpopen() API from tpsvrinit() function.
- Other possibility is, take an implicit connection using Pro*C or Pro*Cobol whatever platform you are using.
EXEC SQL Connect ... -

How to connect to db from sql navigator ?
database active and working.
login from web working normally.
how to connect to db from sql navigator ?Remote connections generally need three bits of information, whether its an oracle, odbc, or some other type of client ...
1. Where does the database "live" (hostname or IP address)
2. What port is the database listener "listening" on for connections
3. What is the database service name or $ORACLE_SID
Default port is 1521, if its an XE install the service name is XE out-of-the-box (as set up by the installer and no DBA intervention.) -
