Updated image is not continuing with the State Restore Phase

MDT 2010 Update 1
Our MDT guru quit about a month ago.   I've done basic stuff here and there
But have never updated an image..
1. I deployed our current image to a Vmware workstation. Added about 200 updates. Nothing else done.
     I than rebooted and logged in as local admin and ran litetouch.wsf in a command prompt.
     And ran the "Sysprep and Capture image" task sequence.
     This sysprep'd and imaged with no errors to the captures folder.
2. I than moved that updated image to the "Operating Systems" folder on the deployment share. Renamed the old .wim file and renamed the new one to be the same as the old one..    (Not completely sure this is the correct
way to do this) But couldn't find any info on how this is done)
I than proceeded to reimage a machine with the updated .wim.
It gets all the way to the State Restore phase and just stops.   After the final reboot. I logon with the local admin account as usual and it does not continue.   the Minint and _SMSTaskSequence folder are still there.. If
I let it set for hours nothing happens...
I compared the BDD.log file for both images.    They seem to be identical up until the State Restore phase is supposed to start.
I see NO errors in the BDD log file...
So I am lost as in what to do to try and remedy this issue..

How can I limit the fonts in the Character Map (charmap) and reinitialize the state after use?

In a WPF application I have a RichTextBox in which users will be inserting text. I also must give the user the ability to insert characters. To do so I have called up charmap.exe using

etc., and it works fine. There are several problems I have basically with charmap, however, not with WPF. The first is that because of the subsequent use of the user’s insertion in the RTB, I must restrict the font to “Ariel Unicode
MS.” So far all I have been able to do is instruct and warn the user not to change fonts and
change back any font change that occurs as a result of use of “Advanced view” features.
Question number one is, how can I restrict the fonts loaded into charmap to this one font? The second problem is that if another font is called up, or the “Advanced view” state of charmap is closed, or a “Group by” feature is opened, these choices will
be retained for the next user that opens charmap. How can I initialize the state of charmap for each new user with the correct font and “Advanced view” features showing. It is said,but in old posts, that reinitialization occurs for all but administrative users,
but this seems to be no longer true. I have tried permission changes in charmap’s Properties, but I can’t get the necessary reinitialization to occur even if user’s don’t have modify permission. Can one use a .ini file, or the .mui file, or make Registry changes
to accomplish my goals. There seems to be a warning in the .mui file about changing fonts, but is it cancelled? I am using Windows 7 and C#.
I have looked at other character maps but they are either too complicated for the casual user, or they have no search engine and advanced features, or they have the same problems.
I am pretty much a novice with respect to the Windows files use and WPF, so please be fairly clear, complete, and prescriptive in your answer. Also so that I and others can learn, it would be nice to have an explanation of why one does whatever you suggest.

Places: problem with the State field in Aperture 3.03

hi,
I live in Europe and I have some problems in handling the State field in Aperture 3.03, because this field isn't always relevant in non North-American Countries.
The Google suggestions in Places don't always include the 4 fields (Location/City/State/Country). I have a lot of pictures taken in the Azores islands (Portugal) which don't show up in my Aperture map because the marker somehow doesn't write Azores in the State field.
Question #1: is there a way to eliminate the State field from Aperture, or at least to render it optional?
Question #2: if I manually create a New Location, what is the proper syntax to separate Location/City/State/Country in a way that will be understood by the Aperture database? I tried putting commas as a separator, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Panasonic GH4 is not listed in the "Lens correction Profile"

Hi there,
I am using Panasonic GH4 and GX7.
And according to my Lightroom 5, it is already the latest version but under the lens crorection profile. I cannot even find the word PANASONIC in the dropdown menu for cameras.
Any ideas and tips ?

Problem with the state field, brazilian store

I had my applications installed on my ipod 3rd gen, then i lost them when i upgraded to iOS 5. Now, i'm trying to get the applications back in the iTunes Store, but it insists on veryfing the payment method and complains about the state field, witch is filled with 'RJ', and then the following message is displayed: 'Inclua no máximo 3 letras ou números para estado', in portuguese, witch translates to 'Fill at most 3 letters or numbers for state'. Anyone can help?

Using the States Example how can I set Selected to Maryland Without RowNumber

Let's use the states example for the sake of everyone having
the code in front of them. If I am returning a value from the
database that I am writting out to the application like this

I believe what you guys are looking for is the
Set
Default Row Based on Specific Column sample that is on the
Spry
Samples Page.
The problem of using a spry:if="{name} ..." approach is that
it only makes sure the form select widget is set to what the server
thinks is the current row in the data set, but it doesn't actually
set the current row in the data set to reflect this, so the cities
select is out of sync cause it is defaulting to displaying the
cities for the first row in the states data set.
Checkout the sample I mentioned above, it will show you how
to set up an observer where you can query for the correct row
immediately after the data is loaded, and then set the current row
so that everything is as expected.

I am updating from a ViewRowImpl with type-safe getters and setters that were originally generated by the wizard. What you are suggesting is to replace the setAttributeInternal() with populateAttribute().
Where did you find documentation about this? - the API is a bit lean on this issue.
I am a bit hessitant on changing wizard implemented methods as the are easily overwritten when the wizard is accessed again.
I write audit records away at EO level based on the EO's state.
At this stage, as a work around, we just check if the attributes other than the transient ones changed to trigger the audit process rather than the EO state.

How to use in italy an airport extreme base bought in the states?

I have received as a gift an Airport Extreme base bought in the States and it doesn't work well. In few words it happens that the connection with the modem is discontinue. Maybe it's because it was built to be used in an "american" environment. Is there someone that can help me to understand if an US base cannot be used in Europe or what can I do to set up correctly the base? Thx a lot. Massimo

Modem: ADB Broadband DA2200

You will simply plug the Extreme into the main router by ethernet.
Setup the Extreme to bridge mode.
Whatever the airport utility chooses which can be wrong.. simply press edit when it is finished.
Change the Network setup to bridge.
And for wireless I recommend you select a manual channel for 5ghz.. because the US model is set to North America and does not have any settings for Europe. You need to set the AE to something that overlaps.

2.4ghz won't be a problem.. US is a subset of Europe.. but 5ghz are markedly different.
Apple provide no way to change regions.

Can I just add a state to bug work item and not set the state to the workflow

Based on my team, we need to add a state/states to the bug work item, just add the bug state, and let it displayed in the state dropdown list. We don't want to add the state to the workflow. Can I do that?

Hi shmily,
If you add a state for the bug in your work item definition file, you have to define the transition for the state. If not, when you change the state, the backlog page or task board will not display the work item correctly.

remains on, then I assume I don't have to wait for the IEPE current to
settle if I make a new Task and start a new measurement--is this

DAQmx Clear Task should not turn off IEPE current. You will have to explicity set IEPE current to On (for that channel) whenever you use any of the AI channels on your 4474 in order to keep the IEPE On because the IEPE for all channels in the AI subsystem will be set to the default state (Off) unless explicitly configured. That said, if you clear a task that had IEPE On, and then initialize a new task and set IEPE On, the IEPE will be uninterrupted and there should be no need to wait for the IEPE to settle. Other components of your measurement system might need time to settle if their state was changed between tasks (DUT, sensor, AC coupling, etc.)

How to Catch the state of the Entity Object

I have Location Entity object. With JClient I am testing it.
I want to insert the data,
due to validations (wrong data) insert fails.
Then I am correcting data, still to another view object it is passing old data.
After correcting the data when I try to click commit it is not executing the code from getEntityState = STATUS_NEW

Change the state of button when another button is pressed

Hi all,
I have a pretty straightforward question but just cant figure out how I can achieve it...I am trying to switch between two types of waveforms (sine and square) on a graph using buttons and a case structure.
I currently have two buttons A and B. When I press A, it turns true and displays waveform 1. When I press B, B turns true and displays waveform 2. However when B is true, I have A still enabled as true (pressed)
I cant figure out how to change the state of A back to false when B is pressed and vice versa.
I am fairly new at Labview so if someone can refer to a post where its this is already answered or point to the right direction, that would be appreciated

Instead of cluttering the code with event cases (!), hidden controls(!), value properties(!) and local variables(!) (as suggested above but not recommended at all!! Besides, it does not even work correctly!), all you need is a radiobutton control that also allows "no selection". See attached (LabVIEW 2013). You could also add a third boolean for the sine wave and disallow "no selection" to make the code even more self-documenting.
I made the radiobutton container transparent to match your existing style.
LabVIEW Champion . Do more with less code and in less time .
