URGENT - SET TASK (SYSTEM STATUS) TO COMPLETE - IW22

Hi,
Can anybody suggest a FM and its parameters (necessary) to set the system status of a task in IW22 transaction?
I tried using STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN by calling it in my report with OBJNR and STAT. it didn't gimme any error but the status didn't get reflected in IW22.
All quick inputs in this regard will be highly valuable and appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Bharathi.

Hi.
After calling FM STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN need run some procedure:
CALL FUNCTION 'STATUS_UPDATE_ON_COMMIT'.
COMMIT WORK.
Good luck.

  • System status to complete

    Hi,
I am working on CRM Service implementation. Currently my client is using non-sap system for Service orders. Post go-live with SAP, the non-sap system will be shut down. So we need to move all the complete Service, Sales orders to SAP system for past time. and set the system status of complete orders to "complete" so that no one can process them further. I cannot go thru normal new Service/Sales order process as these orders are already complete. Just for history we need them in CRM.
Please advice how can I do that?
    thanks in advance,
    LSP

    Hi LearnSAP,
You will have to create the contracts in the CRM system and set the status to complete.
<b>Steps to achieve the desired result :</b>
    1. Create an IDOC that matches with the fields of the sales order in the non-SAP system.
    2. Maintain the ALE IDOC settings required for inbound processing of the IDOC.
    3. Write an inbound processing function module to process the IDOC.
    4. In the function module you can read the IDOC data and populate the bapi BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI with the required data that you want in the contract.
    5. While populating the status table in the BAPI put the status as 'complete', you can get the corresponding code for the status from the table TJ30 and TJ30T tables, because the BAPI expects the code.
    6. Call BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_SAVE to save the contract.
    7. Call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to commit the transaction.
    <b>Reward points if it helps.</b>

  • System status _ complete

    Dear all,
I've got a question concerning standard status management.
Our client requirement is to have a final 'state' to the service request. In other word, when the service request is set to the user statuts 'Answered', the system status is completed which means that the service request can not be edited anymore. Can it be managed by the standard?
In status management, after creating a status profile for my service request,  I have seen that i can add Transaction Control.
I have set my status 'Answered' as -AM03 but I don't see any impact on the service request. Can the standard be configured in that way?
Can a user status can be defined as final that the document can not be modified adterwards?
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Anaïs

    Hi Siraj,
Sorry to come back on that subject. We have a new problem that came across this customizing.
Let me explain : Here is my status profile:
For status FERM, I have set up the customizing previously mentionned :
for all the other status, I do not have this parameter.
Then, if I go to the web_ui, I cannot make modification on my transaction that is "Clôturé", which is what I expect.
But, I cannot create a new transaction anymore, I have the same message when I click on New :
As modifying a transaction that is at another statuts :
Can you tell me why this behavior happens? How can I fix it?
    Thanks a lot.

    Anaïs Jaussaud

  • Customizing Task type (Status and Completed fields)

We have created our own "MDAction" custom type. The primary reason is that we need different values of "Status", and we dont want to mess with the built in "Task".
We have created lists based on MDAction and it works fine but we have one issue:
The users wants the behavior with Date in red when over due. Fine.
But when we remove the build column "Completed" (that gives provides the "Checkbox") - this column sets the original "Status" field to "Completed" and not the "MDAction". Having the "Completed" fields
    confuses the users.
To our surprise, when wh remove "Completed", also the behavior with overdue Dates in red disappears.
How does this work, and how can we have "red over due dates without the completed column in the view"?
    Thanks,
    Jorgen

    Hi Jorgen,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to remove ‘Completed’ column and make the Due Date red when the date is due.
As a workaround, you can customize the task form with InfoPath, and remove the ‘Completed’ column in the form view. For the Due Date with Red, you can create a rule for the Due Data column, the rule is like:
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks,

  • Possible to set a system status that has been deleted again

    Hi,
In the status profile, we have mapped the user status 'Approved' to '  CFAP Approve".
When we set the status of the transaction to 'approved', the system status of "TBAP To Be Approved" gets deleted in the system (this can be seen from the transaction BS33 by entering the system status CFAP).
As part of my requirement, I need to be able to allow the user to bring the status of the document back to 'To be approved'.
The lowest and highest status numbers are set such that the user can set the status of 'to be approved' from a document in the status 'approved'.  The authorization key to set the status of 'to be approved' is also assigned to the user's role.
However, in the system, I do not see the option of selecting status value of 'to be approved' when I go to change mode of the transaction. Is it because of the fact that 'TBAP' system has been deleted? Is there someway I can allow it again?
    Thanks
(will gladly award points for useful answers)

    Hello Jaya,
The problem seems to be caused by the lowest/highest status number set in the user status profile.
Based on the rules and user status profile settings:
    - The status currently active determines the upper limit of the subsequent status.
    - The status with status number which was the highest one ever active for the object determines the lower limit for the status number of the subsequent status.
For example, if there is the status profile set as following:
    Number   Status     Lowest    Highest
    10           AAAA     10            40
    20           BBBB       30           40
    30           CCCC       20           40
    40           DDDD       30           40
Whent status DDDD is set on, then CCCC and DDDD should be available in the drop down list.
Once you move back to CCCC, now the lowest and highest allowed status is 30(from DDDD's lowest)~40, so you will not see BBBB in the drop down list.
I hope this could be helpful.
    Best regards,
    Maggie

    Hi,
    Try transaction BERP.
It will give  you the following info.
    1. See the business events available and the pupose they are meant fot
    2. Documentation for that particular event (here you can know where exactly it is called)
    3. Interface parmeters required in the custom FM
    4. A sample function module with the export import parameters.
There are few more transaction which are usefull in Bte
    FIBF --> Maintenance transaction BTE
    BERE --> Business Event Repository
    BERP --> Business Processes
BF31 --> Application modules per Event
BF32 --> Partner Modules per Event
BF34 --> Customer Modules per Event
BF41 --> Application Modules per Process
BF42 --> Partner Modules per Process
BF44 --> Customer Modules per Process
and Bte is attach to a process it works in similar way like workflow do, you can't exactly know the tcode by looking into the event but you can know it with the process for eg.
This event is called while invoice printing.
    00705000     Invoice print: Exclude contracts
and we can get more info by checking its description.
    Hope this will help,

  • Prevent User Status from being set by System Status

    Hello,
I wonder if there is a standard way to prevent  setting some User Status as long as activity network is not released.
    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards.
    Nir

    Hi Nir,
Go through the link mentioned below,
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/a9/8a853488601e33e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm
Once you have read it thoroughly create a user status. Dont forget to select the object types for which this user status should work. Once you have created the user status, in the business transactions list, for the transaction Release check the radio button under Forbidden. This should fulfill your requirement. When you assign this user status to a Network or an activity it should prohibit the release transaction.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to set a user status (complete) when ever system status is set complete

    Experts,
We have configured status profile and few user status (say open, pre-release, complete) and assigned the status profile to the item category(zxxx).
The problem we have is if we have a service order that is created with the item (item category zxxx) -- Say the header status is open and the item status is pre-release. Now end user comes and sets the header status to completed - then the item status is still set pre-release. It is not changing to complete as expected.
Yes,  the Item system status is set to completed but not the user status. How do I configure to set a complete user status when the header and item system status are set to completed.
    Thank you
Edited by: ram on May 4, 2010 8:51 PM

I am not sure if this can be "reverse engineered" in Status profile.
But here is some hint. You can use the BAdI CRM_ORDER_STATUS mehtod AFTER_CHANGE and actually break when the Header status is changed, and set the item status as desired.

  • BADI to set task and checklist status based on phase status

    Hi,
We have a requirement to set the system status and user status of all the task and checklist to complete when the phase that they belong to is set to status complete.
I have implemented the badi DPR_EVENTS which gets triggered when Phase is completed.
My issue is this badi does not work when the phase is completed as system does not allows the change any data of  tasks or checklist items since the phase is complete. I get a message stating "you cannot change the status of this task".
I tried reseting the complete status of teh phase and setting the tasks status and then setting the phase status back to complete. But this does not seem to be working.
Is there any way to achieve this requirement?
    Thanks,
    Simmi

Since we could not do it on Phase complete event we did it for some other event

  • Setting System Status for CRM Contract

    Hi

Please guide me how to set the system status for this scenario.

  • PCUI: Setting system status in sales documents

    Hi experts!
For sales documents (e.g. Quotations, Complaints) in PCUI, we lack the possibility to enter the system status. In PCUI, only the user status can be changed. In SAP GUI, both system and user status can be set.
For replication issues, we need to set the system status for quotations to "Released". Any idea how this can be achieved? Is there a way to do so via action profile or so? Any other ideas?
    Thanks,
    Sebastian

    Hi,
thanks for your answer. What you describe is correct for the status complete. If I set the user status complete, the system status is also changed to complete. But if I set the user status released, the system status is "in progress" (and not released).
Do you know where I can set the relationship between user status and system status? Or what do you mean by "the user status that corresponds to the 'Released' system status"? How can I check the correspondance?
    thanks,
    Sebastian

  • Set order status to completed if subsequent document is a proforma invoice

    Dear Experts,
I created a debit memo request to create as subsequent document a proforma invoice only. This special business case has to do with customs purposes and should stop after the creation of the proforma..
Now the debit memo request is still open and the next batch run is picking up the DMR again and create another proforma invoice.
What I have to do to set the order status to completed after the first proforma invoice is issued?
    Thanks for your help.
    Kind regards
    Frank

    Hello,
Check for the possiblilies of the following.
In VOV8, slect the debit memo request order type, make the Order related billing type as F5 (Proforma - Order related).
Check the item category for the Debit memo request item, standard is L2N. Maintian the billing relevency field as
D-Proforma , maintain the completion as Colpleted after the first reference , if required.

  • Systeme status complete Errors

    Hi every one,
I have created transaction, its having errors. even with errors iam able to change  the system status to complete.
I want to restrict in such a way that if errors are present, the user should not be able to change the system status to 'completed'.
    please help in this gurus
    Thanks,
    jeff

    hi jeff,
you can validate the status via BADI implementation.
based on my experience, there is 2 BADI that can be used for this validation :
    - ORDER_SAVE -> will validate the changes if user save the transaction
    - CRM_ORDER_STATUS -> will valiudate the status changed so the status that not pass the validation will be disabled.
in my opinion, the CRM_ORDER_STATUS give a better solution.
    hopes it helps
    cheers
