    I have configured Basic Pay and 0014 and 0015 Infotypes. Still what are the steps to be learned for  compleate USA PAYROLL Configuaration.

    Maintain the work tax company infotype 210 at FEDERAL level.
    Then you can run the program RPCALCU0 for the pernrs in transaction se38 or you can navigate through the easy access menu to US payroll
    SAP Menu->Human Resources->Payroll->Americas->USA->payroll.
    IT008 is enough . In case you want to give any additional payments or one time payments you configure IT14 and 15.
    Rest all settings are fine.

  • Wagetypes for USA Payroll

    Below are the wagetypes of Basic pay My senior has given two screenshots to go ahead and do that in  Sandbox Server before I start doing in Development Server
    I didnt understand the terminology Salary Non Exempt, Retiree Pay, Lead Premium and Shift Premium . I can also see below wagetypes are valuating from ANSAL.

    This table is nothing but just like a indirect valuation I mean In this table you can find 2 methods  one is for PRZNT & ANSAL.
    PRZNT:
    On this wage type % amount has to be given to another wage type
    Exp: 10% on basic pay to HRA etc........
    ANSAL: You can find annual salary field in info type 0008, To default annual salary in info type 0008 we are going to use ANZAL feature.
    ANSAL Wage Type for Annual Salary
      Object
        Feature
      Task
        This feature is used to calculate the annual salary.
      Use
        Infotype 0008, Basic Pay
      Procedure
        The return value of this feature is a technical wage type which is read
        by infotype 0008, Basic Pay, to calculate the annual salary.
    Wage type description: If you don't know any thing about your wage type directly you can ask your client I mean what is the logic for those wage type.

    1. Entering of time - T-code CAT2
    2. Approval of time - T-code CAPS
    3. Transfer of time to HR- T-code CAT6 ( FYI :- it goes to IT:- 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2010.
    4. Time evaluation - T-code PT60
    5. Payroll simulation
    6. Release Payroll Area ( HR>Payoll>Americas>USA>Payroll-->Release Payroll)
    7. Start Payroll ( HR>Payoll>Americas>USA>Payroll-->Start Payroll)
    8. Corrections ( HR>Payoll>Americas>USA>Payroll-->Corrections)
    9. Pre-Program DME test
    10. Posting to Accounting test.
    11. Exit the payroll ( HR>Payoll>Americas>USA>Payroll-->Exit Payroll)
    12. Pre-Program DME Live
    13. Create DME or Print check.
    14. Posting to Accounting Live
    There are many Subsequent Process which we have to Carryout along with this. For deatiled explaination also refer to notes provided by Arun.

    Hello Ram,
    The transaction for US Payroll outsourcing is PC00_M10_OTEM. I have attached a document to this reply that can be found as an attachment to SAP Note No. 1135822 - "OT:  Outsourcing FAQ Document". Outsourcing is similar to running payroll except the data is exported instead of being calculated.

    Hi Rakesh,
    There are many USA payroll related compliance reports but major ones are Tax Reporter (PU19 transaction), Garnishment Reports, 401K reports and New Hire Reporting.
    You should be able to find them under Human Resources-->Payroll--> Americas-->USA under different sections.
    For you further assistance I have SAP link mentioned below which tells you more about these and many other US Specific compliance reports.

  • Payment Advise multiple banks RFFOUS_T

    We have a scenario( USA Payroll )  where we have payment( salary ) going to main bank and other bank. SAP standard process( RFFOUS_T) generates two payment advise in this case.

    We are looking for a SAP report that display 'Net Pay' by Employee for current and previous period in USA payroll module. If you know of any, pl let me know.

    We knew about this report, however, it gives information one below the other if we run, say for 2 periods, but what we are looking for is something as shown in example below
    Empl #      Empl # Name    Prev Pay period Net Pay        Current Pay period net pay.
    123              XYZ                     $ 1200.00                                 $ 1200.00
    256              ABC                    $  2000.00                                $ 3000.00 
    We want to run for 2 periods at a time and get the results as above. That way, payroll dept can run this report and compare if we are paying too much in current pay, compared to previous pay. This is basically to avoid any typos when they create new pay records in infotype 0008.

    Hello All,
    Where do we maintain Time constraint assignment to subtypes of an infotype. I am looking to subtypes of IT 0210 ( Tax With holding ) " where do we create the subtypes and their characteristics for this infotype in IMG? I tried in view V_T591A but there is no entry for this 0210 infotype but I can find the time constraint assignment for the rest of the infotypes in this view.

    Hi,
    Wagetypes depend on the users requirement for Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time Management normally range around 40-50 approx.
    Payroll dont terminate or activate any employee, thier records are delimited by PA and automatically reflected in Payroll.
    you may like to check SAP_PAYSLIP_US form for reference, but maily depend on client requirement.
