Use of Sender & Receiver Function in Constant Functions

Hi All,
What is the use of "Sender" and "receiver"  function in "Constant Functions"  in graphical mapping. In which scenarios it will be used.

No its does not create "Test_Sender_System" & "Test_Receiver_System" Nor you have to create these business sytems.
At runtime based on your scenario/ID configuartion it will give you the actual sender and receiver systems in the mapping.
But if you are testing your mapping directly in Integration repository->Message Mapping->Test Tab at design time then it will give  "Test_Sender_System" & "Test_Receiver_System"  as a ouput (at design time it does not have actual sender/reciver information).
For e.g. if you have scenario with BS_SENDER and BS_RECEIVER as your sender and receiver business system then
1. If you run your interface end-to-end the the output at runtime will  be BS_SENDER and BS_RECEIVER  for "Sender" and "Receiver" functions respectively.
2. If you directly test your message mapping in IR->MM->Test Tab output at design time will  be "Test_Sender_System" & "Test_Receiver_System"  for "Sender" and "Receiver" functions respectively. (at design time it does not have actual sender/reciver information).

    I know it's not the answer you want, but signatures have to be added in a serial manner. Every time you sign the PDF file you are signing everything that came before the signature was created, and this includes the previous signatures. There is no method to combine signatures from multiple files into one file. You would end up creating a signature over data that wasn't there when the signature was originally created, and in the security world that's a no-no.

    Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it a lot.
    While I test my server, I execute ping www.myclienthost.com -t (my client games are in other office, in the same building, but different ISP) and I don't see anything strange, so I guess network is working perfectly. However, if I use wireshark (sniffer) and I see that my system fails (server does not send acks so client disconnects) is because my acks messages are not sended for 6 o 7 seconds (it should send them every 2 or 3). It seems thread is blocked. and after 6 or 7 seconds one message with 2 or 3 acks together is sent. So, I see that the thread handler blocked for a few seconds and this is doing my server is failing. Why client handler thread on my server is blocked? One question: every 2 or 3 seconds I have a thread that uses sleep that iterates thru client handlers and takes OutputStream and send one ack message for every client handler. My question is, in client handler class I have a method called SendInfo(String whatever) which encrypts and sends through OutputStream, should I protectd this method from accesing from two threads??? as acks thread and client thread can access at the same time. Could this be the problem??
    EDIT: In my previous post I forgot to say what I found out with wireshark. Here I explain it. Sorry.
    By the way, how can I debug threads?? I would like to know if my client thread is blocked in that critical moment.

    if your test data base file is TestDB.mdb you need to give the absolute path of the file to get access to JDBC adapter set so you can replace the file path with the corresponding path on your test system .
    Please place the data base file in a directory where the XI system has share access.

    I have one scenario.I will be receiving the customer PO electronically i.e through IDOC. I will make sales order & send the Order confirmation to my customer electronically i.e through IDOC.
    Now my question is how to configure inbound & outbound IDOC in the system. As far I know this involves more from technical side but I want to know what are the programs to be used for sending & receiving IDOCs. what is the logic by which one can send & receive IDOCs.Please provide me in detail.

    Hi there,
    To send / receive the IDOCs to / from SAP, you will need to have the partnwer profiles defined in WE20. You will define the sending / receiving systems as partners in WE20.
    Then you will define the IDOC message types in WE30. There you can also specify what segmenst you need & what data needs to go in the segments.
    Then you will assign the message type to the inbound & outbound paramaters in WE20. Every message type will have a relevant IDOC posting / processing progs. You will have to asign them to the message types.
    For eg: When a PO is created, SAP will receive the IDOC from an external system. The IDOC posting prog will be called which will post the information into the SAP application doc. Here PO or SO.
    When the sales order is created, the IDOC O/p will be created. The IDOC processing progs will send the IDOC into the partner recciver port. It will call an RFC which will post an application doc into the external system.
    All the posting progs are developed by the ABAP. So contact your ABAPer & explain the functionality. But partner profiles are defined by func consultants.

    I have a problem with the Variables screen of my query. The situation is as follows:
    - I have Query (let's call it Q1) with a "Replacement Path" variable (V1).
    - The pre-query associated to V1 has 3 variables (va1, va2, va3)
    - I also have a Web template (W1) that is used to display query Q1.
    - In W1, the checkbox for attribute "Force Variables Screen Display" is not checked. That is, I want that the variables screen doesn't come up by default. According to the attribute description, if the checkbox is not checked, "...Display only appears if Mandatory variables are not Filled...", and I don't have any mandatory variables.
    - I use a Sender/Receiver assignment (Tr. RSBBS) to jump from another query (Q2) into W1, assigning values for the 3 variables va1, va2, and va3.
    - As a result of the "jump" from Q2 to W1, I get the Variables Screen of Q1 displayed (with the right values for variables va1, va2 and va3), and only after clicking on "Execute" I get to see the data...
    Now, what I need is to display the data first, and not the variables screen... Any Ideas?

    I am facing exactly the same problem except that instead of a RRI, I am using parameterized web template URLs. <b>Damian</b>, If you have solved this problem, can you post how? If not, can someone who sees the problem help ?
    To restate the problem,I have a web template with a query which has a variable which is populated by a replacement path query which has another variable whose value the user enters. I build up the parameterized URL.

    The template PRDPROF is based on a query and has a variable PRDID which is a replacement path which is filled by a query whose variable is PRDTXT and is filled in the above URL. PRDTXT is a selection option variable whose entry is optional and is checked ready for input. 'Change during query navigation' is unchecked.
    For some reason, the variable values are passed onto the parameterized URL and will fill the variable screen but the screen waits for the user to push the execute button.
    Can anybody see what the problem is ? Any input is apperciated.

  • Cant find RTCW send receive.vi

    I have a VI that uses RTCW send receive.vi as one of its several vi's. Since it cannot find it, it remains broken and hence I cannot buiild an exe later.
    Where can I get this VI? and how do I make the parent VI find this vi?
    I am very new at LV hence askign such fundamental Q's.

    Are you using LabVIEW 8.2?  I think the RT Communication Wizard switched from being located in the [LabVIEW]\project folder in LabVIEW 7.x to the [LabVIEW]\resource\Framework\Providers\lvrealtime\RTCommWizard folder in LabVIEW 8.x.  Also, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the VIs were renamed or removed.  Perhaps the old version of your code was written in 7.x, and by moving to 8.x, the VIs the code linked to are no longer there?
    As a general rule, your application should only use VIs in vi.lib or in your own code repository.  Using internal LabVIEW VIs (like those found in the project or resource folders) can cause problems, since there's no guarantee those VIs will remain the same (and have the same name) with LabVIEW upgrades.

    How do send/receive SMS's on iPhone. Is there a "how-to" manual for the BASIC operation functions for day to day telephone use? Don't need pictures, music or computer ********, jst basic mobile phone use at this stage.

  • Outlook 2013 - "schedule an automatic send/receive" NOT functioning

    Here is yet another bug in Outlook 2013 which remains at large.
    Yes, "schedule an automatic send/receive" is not functioning, except in the case of Hotmail/Outlook.com
    The only time new emails  are getting download are when the Send/Receive button is clicked, or when the inbox of the account is selected.
    Other than that Email is not getting checked/downloaded every thirty minutes as it is setup to do.
    Oh, and please none of those generic "create a new profile" answers.

  • Sending/receiving files using SFTP

    Hi,
    Is there a way to use the Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) in ABAP to send/receive files?
    I already used the FTP functionality from the function group SFTP, but I'm honestly not sure whether ABAP also handles the secure version of FTP.
    If there is this functionality, please provide me the necessary function modules, ...

  • Problem while sending/Receiving request using the HttpURLConnection obj

    We are facing the problem while passing the request in Weblogic.
    Looks like there is some problem with Weblogic while sending/Receiving the request using the HttpURLConnection object.
    Currently we are migrating 2 applications to WebLogic. Application1 to application2 request should pass.
    Below is some example we tried:
    "When we send a request to our code using the SSOAdaptor code (which handles the request/session in our application) which is on the SunOne server the request parameters are received by our code successfully. And also in Create User Functionality of application1 we are sending a request to webpass(which is on Sunone Server) using the HttpURLConnection object and the SOAP request is received successfully by the Webpass."
    Looks like when we send request (using HttpURLConnection) from a server other than Weblogic to a servlet in a Weblogic the request parameters are received with out issues.
    Where as when the request is sent from WebLogic to WebLogic the request parameters are missing some how.
    Is there any issue in Weblogic? Please helpus on this.

    Please find below scenario for testing.
    We have tested the SSOAdaptor code (it is the fucntion name which will send the data from source) locally by hittiing the WPS adaptor URL in a Java client program(TestRequest.java) and the request parameters were reaching the WPS Adapter successfully.
    Then we have written two test servlets to test the communication between SSOAdaptor(TestServlet.java) and WPS adaptor(WPSServlet.java).
    Functionality of TestSevlet: It is sending a request to WPSServelt similar to the way we are doing it in SSOAdaptor.
    Functionality of WPSServlet: It will receive the request parameters and write the parameter Map to console.
    We have deployed and these two servlets(in a single webapplication) on Tomcat server and the request parameters are reaching the WPSServlet successfully.

    After this we have deployed these two servlets (with in a single webapplication) on the Weblogic server in Dev machine(path: /apps/usmport/domains/usmport/servers/usmport_admin/upload/ssoAdaptor/WEB-INF/classes/com/gm/gmeportal/security/adaptor) and
    now the request parameters are not reaching the WPSServlet.

    Looks like there is some problem with Weblogic while sending/Receiving the request using the HttpURLConnection object.
    When we send a request to WPSAdaptor using the Old SSOAdaptor code which is on the SunOne server the request parameters are received by WPS successfully. And also in Create User Functionality of Portal we are sending a request to webpass(which is on Sunone Server) using the HttpURLConnection object and the SOAP request is received successfully by the Webpass.
    Looks like when we send request (using HttpURLConnection) from a server other than Weblogic to a servlet in a Weblogic the request parameters are received with out issues. Where as when the request is sent from weblogic to weblogic the request parameters are missing some how.

  • Send/receive IDOCs to SOLMAN system using AS2 protocol!

    Hi All,
    I want to send/receive IDOC file to/from web based SOLMAN system. Currently I'm using FTP server to send/receive IDOC file.
    As of now the current process is to send the IDOCs from ECC to FTP server and from FTP to third party and vice-versa. But due to some constraints, I'm bound to use web based SOLMAN system. Please, can you let me know how to send/receive IDOC files to SOLMAN. Is there standrad FM/method to connect to SOLMAN from ECC as in case of FTP we have FM 'FTP_CONNECT'. Heard that same functionality in case of SOLMAN can be achieved  through AS2 protocol.

  • HT5225 unable to send receive mail using Mail 2.1.3

    Ever since iCloud took over, I am no longer able to send/receive mail using Mail 2.1.3 on my 10.4.11 version.  I didn't think it would affect it.  Someone please help as to how I can rectify the issue!

  • Tuning a procedure and using dbms_job.submit proc that call's functions

    I have Procedure that have 3 curosrs which are nested one below with in each other
    and it looks as below
    it's structure will look some thing look like this

    Here deu_process cursor is opened ,assume it fetches one record
    Here another cursor dup_all is used for fetching the records and assume it fetched 400000 then
    Here another cursor is opened name where it fetches 10 rows
    Here logic is if first row then
    call's stored function which has following functionalty
    it compares fields such as address of outer most cursor i.e deu_process with all the address of the other rows i.e 400000 rows and return a number
    if second row then
    call's another stored function which has
    compares other fields such as first name,last name
    if third then other field
    so on ....
    up to 10
    and then finally ends
    so if i comment all the rules loop then it takes only one min to execute .If it validaes all of them if takes 14 minutes to execute .so there is problem in that 10 procedures to execute
    So i found an approach to run all the rules simultaneously using dbms_job .But i face a problem that i can't uderstand how to send the input and out put parameter's to calling procedure.And these parameter's must be passed by variable from called procedure to calling procedure
    Please suggest me what is the syntax of dbms_job with input and output parameters with variable's that must be passed as formal parameter's
