Users can't add items to their agendas - Module errors

There was a server crash recently and now some users are getting errors when
they try to connect or make any updates to their Calendar. Some of the errors
that are getting displayed to a pop up box are:

"Module agenda fr.cpp label 4334"<br>
"Module agenda vw.cpp label 124,service error #0x13201"
<P>
Whenever the server is abruptly shutdown, there is the likely probability that
there has been some database corruption, especially when errors start appearing
on the client.<br>
There is a tool, called /users/unison/bin/unidbfix that will need to be executed
when the server is down that will clean up the database. Please refer to the
Calendar Server Administrators Guide for details on this command, as it should
be used VERY CAREFULLY.
<P>
If problems still persist afterwards, check which version of the tool that you
are using:<br>
     # unidbfix -v<br>
     A.01.20<br>
and contact Technical Support with this information and the dbfix.log that the
tool creates.

The Dock did not return to default on that command?
Try again and also delete username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
If it's still no-go create a new User go to System Preferences >> Accounts >> "+" (make it an admin acct) and test the Dock in this new account, if it works the problem is isolated to your User and not systemwide.

EDIT: Also are you running any enhancement software?

    I am using a DataSocket connection to read/write through an OPC Server (GE SRTP) to PLC software (PME).  Everything works fine on my 2 different development PC's in my office, both in .vi form, and executable.  I have distributed my executable on our network, and 2 of the 4 PC's we use to test product work fine.  The other 2 PC's have the same problem, error -2147467259, can't add item to OPC server.  When the OPC Server is called by LabVIEW, it launches successfully, but immediatly shows the 'can't add item to OPC Server'.  I believe that it has to do with the registry.  I registered the opcproxy.dll, and it still fails.  LabVIEW 7.1, Windows XP machines.

    I would like to echo Sam's inquiry about launching the OPC server outside of LabVIEW and verifying that it can be connected to.  Also, under what user name is the OPC server being launched?  Sometimes you can run into trouble if the user name is not the current user logged onto the system, but I haven't heard of it causing this error.  You can see what user launched the service under Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services.  You can verify the default user running the application by going to Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Component Services and navigating to Component Services >> Computers >> My Computer >> DCOM Config  Right click on your DCOM server and select Properties.  Then go to the Identity tab and make sure The Interactive User is selected.

  • Obsolete and batch users can receive work items

    Dear Experts,
    Currently, we have found a problem that obsolete and batch users can receive work items by manual forwarding from someone. The roles and responsibilities of obsolete users were removed and users have been locked. For Batchuser, it's only created for some certain job with limited roles.
    Could you help advise if this's a behavior of workflow or it's from some authorization problem? We have concern for business impact since no one is really handling work items and important messages are out of sight.

    This is standard behaviour. It is even possible to send work items to users who do not yet exist (e.g. someone who is due to join the company).
    The easiest way to workaround is to set up a substitution for any users that get locked and for background users. Personal substitutes can be maintained directly in table HRUS_D2, you could possibly write your own maintenance transaction for this if it is to be an ongoing issue.

    I should add that, I click the lock icon and it shows locked, but the + sign to add a printer is not greyed out and still allows printer drivers to be installed.  It then allows the printer driver to be deleted.  I have tried quiting System Preferences and rebooting the system and still have the same results.

  • User can't see items to add to worksheet

    Hello!
    I have a problem with some user who does not see any items from business area when trying to create workbook in Discoverer Dekstop.
    Environment:
    OD:XP Prof SP2
    DB: Oracle XE 10.2.0.1.0 Production
    Desktop Clinet 10.1.2.48.18
    EUL Library 10.1.2.48.18
    EUL 5.1.1.0.0.0
    The testing scenario was:
    created a user in Oracle XE and 4 tables imported in this schema, create joins, indexes... Created 5 users with select granted on this tables. Each user has his own EUL and all can work with no problems except one user. This particular user log into Discoverer Administrator and creates an EUL and Business area. But when the user logs into D.Desktop and tries to create a Workbook, at setp 2 of the Create Workbook wizard there are no items to add to the Worksheet. All the users have the exactly the same clients, privileges and were created in the same way. All off them can work normally in D.Administrator. Any ideas why this user can't see any items from BusinessArea?

    You might get better luck if you post questions about Discoverer into the Discoverer forum: Discoverer where I am one of the principal answerers of questions.
    With regards to this particular issue it sounds as though the user does not have the correct EUL setup inside Desktop.
    To check and fix, use this workflow:
    1. Log on to Discoverer Desktop
    2. When prompted whether to create or open a workbook, click the Cancel button
    3. From the toolbar, select Tools | Options
    4. Click the EUL tab - it is the last one so you will need to scroll across
    5. Look at the value for Default EUL
    6. If it is not the one the user created, use thr drop-down to select the right one
    7. Click the OK button
    8. From the toolbar, select File | Connect to Database and reconnect
    9. The user should be able to see the items now
    When an EUL is created you have the option of creating a public or a private EUL. If any user creates a public EUL then all users will have access to that EUL but not to the business areas and items in that EUL, not at least until the owner grants access. New connections to Desktop will pick up a default EUL which will be one of the public EULs, and not always the EUL just created by the user on that machine.
    Could this be the case with you?

  • Tfs - user can't add files

    hi!
    i have the following problem:
    my team consists of two members with (seemingly) equal project permissions.
    however, only one of the two can add new files to the project. (compare folders, "add file" is greyed out for user a but works for user b)
    i compared the security settings for both users in the tfs admin console, but couldn't find any difference.
    where is the switch i'm looking for?
    any help would be appreciated.

    Add Files button is greyed for user a in Folder Difference
    window, but if user b compare the same two folders, he can click the Add Files button inFolder Difference
    window?
    I tested this scenario on my client and found that: the Add Files button only available in
    Folder Difference window, when user selected the local item(folder/file) which not stored in TFS Source Control in
    Folder Difference window, please ensure the user a selected the right local item in
    Folder Difference window.

    I'm working on different OPC servers and
    I'm able to connect to most of them without a problem (using DataSockets
    as well as OPC Data Access Automation
    Interface v.2.02). So, my DataSocket example works fine for National Instruments
    OPC servers,and ICONICS servers,and others but only for Siemen's
    "Softing OPC Sample Server" and "OPC.SimanticNET" I get a "can't create item
    error" or "cant
    add group error" when I OPEN connection.
    The connection works fine if I use other
    methods then DataSockets or If I use
    other server.
    Does anybody know why is that?

    You didn't mention what version of DataSocket you are using. Upgrading to
    DataSocket version 3.0 should fix this problem. (If you are a ComponentWorks
    user, check out www.ni.com/mstudio for upgrade information or to download
    eval software)

  • Can not add items to the dock

    I can not add icons to the dock, I am able SOMETIMES to edit the dock (moving icons around or delete them), there is no rule, sometimes I can grab the icon on the dock, and sometimes I just can't (I have the pop up when I can't) , I deleted users/username/library/preferences/com.apple.dock.plist and issued a killall dock command, with no difference.

  • User can not add more then two products against one order

    My requirement is in CRM while creating order using CRMD_ORDER transaction. The user can not be entered more then two products against one order.
    I am using CRMD_ORDERADM_I_BADI badi to give error I am unable to use this badi. Is there any other options are there.

    One of our iPhone users once in a while gets this response in e-mail from our mobility server since we updated it to Mobility 2.0.1.

    Plenty of free space on both the Mobility and GWIA server.
    Update order: Data Synchronizer 1.2.5 to 2.0.0 (CD update) and then through yast-patterns to 2.0.1 everything according to the upgrade manual.
    Update date: 26/may/2014
    All hard disks in SAN are fine, running on VM SLES11SP2
    Any ideas what might be causing this?

    Has your administrator had a chance to look into this yet? Backups do
    need to respect databases better than just locking their files, it needs

  • Open Directory Users can't add printers

    Hi all,
    I've set up my teachers on OD on OS X Server 10.5 but now when they log in, they cannot add any printers. I've tried many different things to get the lock on the Print & Fax System Pref to be unlocked by default but nothing I've tried works.
    When I log into the computer as an admin, the Print & Fax is unlocked. Logging in as a user via OD locks it. I've checked to make sure that the users are not being managed via OD prefs. Even if they are the lock still appears. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

    Ah! Thanks! No wonder I cannot do this...
    Unfortunately, the printers are all USB shared printers connected to computers on the network. Is there anyway to preset these printers? They don't show up in the Print manage settings at all.

    Hi, I have a hub app and need to give users the option to purchase various add-ons. For each such ad-on, I need to download a new set of files. Where would such files be stored, and how does it work when a new purchase is made? I cant seem to find any

    You can definitely store your file somewhere in your server when the customer buy your product, your app validated, download from that place.

    Sorry I'm a novice to this.
    Say I have a video in my iTunes library and I would like to add it to my iPad so I can watch it when I'm not at home without hooking the iPad up to my PC and syncing.

    Sorry, I miss-typed in my previous post. I meant to say you can't use homesharing to transfer content. (dictation got it wrong, but I should have checked). In order to transfer content from your iTunes library to your iPad, you would need to connect it to your computer via USB or Wi-Fi if you have Wi-Fi syncing enabled.
    To enable Wi-Fi syncing you must first connect your iPad to your computer with the USB cable and then turn Wi-Fi syncing on in the settings within iTunes.
