Using BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE has Error Message ME038 "No direct postings c

I am using BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE to create PR on Lotus Notes but there are Error Message ME038 "No direct postings can be made to G/L acct. XXXXX in CoCode XXXX".
When I created PR in T-code ME51N on SAP, there are not this Error Message .
I have checked G/L acct. in fs00, the Automatic Posting box is checked.
How do I resolve this problem if the Automatic Posting box is still checked.

Try passing the following fields in the table REQUISITION_ACCOUNT_ASSIGNMENT
PREQ_NO <blank it will be created>
PREQ_ITEM <line item number>
SERIAL_NO '01'

How do you use user defined error messages in Value Help?

I'm currently working on a Modifiable Value Help Selector in Web Dynpro Java, and I want to use a user defined error message when I validate the values entered by a user. Currently, it's returning its default error message ("Character <string> does not match...").
Since the project requires a different error message, is there a way to override the default error message and use my defined error message instead?

Hi Angelo,
I am not sure why message area is showing both Custom and inbuilt messages but you can try the following:
i guess you must be using reportContextAttribute exception for showing Error messages on the input fields as well.in that case you can disable the message area so messages will appear only on the Context level ie; on input fields.
For other messages apart from validation messages you can enable the message area before reporting the exception.
make sure the boolean context variable which will be used for enabling and disabling the message area should have Readonly property set as true.
I am not sure whether this is the only solution for this but you can try and see if it works.

Error message runs in direct contrast to the "spirit' of iCloud

I just tried to drop an old song into my favorite playlist on my iMac. I get this error message:
"iCloud playlists can only contain songs from your iCloud music library. If you continue 'this playlist' will be removed from iCloud and will only be available on this computer."
Am I missing something? Isn't Apple iCloud advertised as a place to store all your stuff? Unless there is some step I'm missing, I consider this to be a strong-arm tactic in direct contrast to what the iCloud is advertised to be.

It is, and generally you can store all your music in iCloud. But occasionally you will find songs marked as ineligible for iCloud, like this:
If you are seeing the crossed our cloud in the status column, you cannot use the song in an iCloud playlist, because it is either a duplicate or in a wrong format, or too large.

I have done some clearing docuemnts b,
each of them clear more than one document with partial payment (fbz1)
I clear completely two vendor invoices with this method.
Then I have 3 clearing documents.
When I try to anull them I can only cancel one of them, the other I cannot doubt to error f0604, "Document number "X" is not a compensation docuemnt "

FBRA only works for documents which contain accounts which are maintained as open item managed. Normally FBRA's used for clearing documents. It can be used for reversal documents as well, if there are lines with AUGBL <> space. AUGBL is filled if a line managed as open item is reversed.
If the reversal document contains only accounts which are NOT open item managed, then field AUGBL is not filled in any line and FBRA cannot be used.
Check your reversal documents if they contain only accounts which are open item managed. In case you have accounts that are NOT open item managed, field AUGBL is not filled in any line. FBRA can't be used.
Instead you can reverse the reversal by use of FB08 again. For that message F5 361 has to be defined as warning instead of the default setting error, otherwise you will receive this second error message. The message can be customized in SPRO.
I believe this resolves your issue.

PP won't open, has error message

I've been using Premiere Pro CS4 version 4.0.0 on a Dell Latitude (Windows) laptop for several months without any major issues. However, I recently installed the 4.2 update from Adobe's website, which, for some reason, caused PP to lag and freeze up. So, I performed a system restore to restore the version back to 4.0.0. However, after doing this, PP won't even open, and displays the error message
"Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your display drivers and start again."
I can't figure out what to do, nor do I know what the error message is referring to. I have a hunch that the problem lies in PP, since all my other Adobe applications (After Effects, Soundbooth, Photoshop, etc.) still work fine.

The error message indicates that PPro either couldn't find or load a player plugin (the core component that hosts your video playback on your source/program monitors).
That usually corresponds to Plug-ins/Common/PlayerMediaCore.prm, unless you're using a third party hardware combination, in which case, the 3rd party usually has their own player plugin.
99% of the time, the problem is that the display driver on your machine is somehow incompatible with OpenGL extensions that the app uses in the player plugin. A common misconception is that a user is using an 'up to date' driver if they get it from their computer system manufacturer, ie Dell, HP, what have you. You really need to get the latest display cards from your graphics card manufacturer, in this case, nVidia.
The other (remote) possibility is that somehow your system no longer has the right Microsoft runtime libraries installed that PPro requires (I'm assuming Windows here, of course. I'm not sure how one can get in that state, but it's theoretically possible.)
If you're geeky, you can use a dependency checker tool to look at the above-mentioned player plugin & see whether the required DLL dependencies are on the machine. If they're missing, you could track down and install the VC redist package for VS2005 SP1; probably simpler though to reinstall the app at this point.

I think that your Mac detects your hard disk, but the problem is that your new hard disk doesn't contain any operating system, so your Mac doesn't find any bootable partition and you see a question mark.
If your Mac came with DVDs, insert the Mac OS X Install DVD and hold the C key while your Mac is starting. Then, just install Mac OS X. If the hard disk isn't prepared to install Mac OS X, you will have to erase it using "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html

Itunes has error message before installation is finished

I tried updating my system to the current version of itunes (vers 10) so i can update my iphone 4. The itunes site directed me to remove previous versions of itunes, which i did, but on loading and installation the following error comes up:

The first thing you need to check is QUicktime, iTunes can't work without it.
What happens if you try to start QUicktime, does it work normally? If not, describe what happens and give any error message in full.

Can't open iTunes - has error message - Hope someone might be able to help

I had everything working about two weeks ago. I was able to download my CD's on the Nano.. Then my computer had to be reloaded with XP.. Lost iTunes..... I reinstalled it at least three times, but it will not work, even downloaded the new edition.....comes up with the following:

the first thing that i check for when people report getting that message when they try to launch their itunes is a broken QuickTime.
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly, or do you get an error message?
if you get an error message, the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

IWeb won't open--has error message

iWeb is on my dock...when I click the icon this error message appears:
Can’t open file “~/Downloads/session-2.cgi.”
I have two large websites on it and can't lose all my work! Help!

Here I am a few years later with this problem: My computer does not have a "domain" file. I have active and running websites on iWeb, able to be edited and published, but there's no domain file anywhere. I used to have it at the time that I wrote this initial post. I had it pinned to my dock just in case I needed it, but when thought I didn't need it anymore (as I assumed I had a copy of it), I deleted it from my dock. Now I haven't seen it since. How is my site able to be manipulated, without a current domain file? Anywhere? Its not in Application Support > iWeb. I even did a spotlight search.
By the way, I searched under "preferences" for "com.apple.iWeb.plist", and its not there either.
Another confusing question: I find the "index" file and all of the other pages to my website, located in Application Support > iWeb, but these pages are not current. They are super old.
Its as if my websites appear to be there and active in the application itself, but everywhere else on my computer its as if my websites, or iWeb even, doesn't exist. Please tell me there's hope. D:

Iphoto won't open - has error message

Hi there,
Since late March I've been getting this error when opening iPhoto. All updates are current as below. Just out of the blue it stopped working. iMac came with iPhoto installed. Concerned that if I re-install from original iMac disk set I will lose all photos. Using iCould and external disk for b/up. Though worried given error of 6 weeks, the error/corrupt files will have saved over.

1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

Office jet pro 8500 has error message

The error message "The following ink cartridge appears to be missing or damaged" continues to appear after cleaning print heads and all other remedies have been tried. Anyone know the solution to get printer back up and running.
