Using MDT and Thin installer on multiple servers

Is there a way to configure the thininstaller.exe.configuration to point to a dynamic path.  We have multiple locations where MDT is deployed, and we don't want the PC to connect over our WAN links when the Thin Installer runs.
I thought I read somewhere that in the file I could do something like this:
<Default Gateway>
     <10.10.1.1=\\Location1\repository>
     <10.10.2.1=\\Location2\repository>
     <10.10.3.1=\\Location3\repository>
     <*.*.*.*=\\DefaultLocation\repository>
I checked the Integrating ThinkVantage Update and Retriever and ThinInstaller with MDT 2010, but the part that talks about configuring the file makes no mention of using multiple servers.
Thanks

There is not a mechansim as you describe built into ThinInstaller.  There are, however, various ways you can invoke Thin Installer which might accommodate your end goal.
Usually people that have this need have some kind of data value on the target device that lets them know which repository they should be pulling from.  Sometimes a network share is used and that share is established earlier in the deployment process to point to a local server.  Sometimes an environment variable is used.  The command line of ThinInstaller allows for you to specify the path to the repository at execution time.  The calling of ThinInstaller can be performed by a script or cmd file that determines the correct repository path to pass to ThinInstaller.
You can find more details on controlling ThinInstaller in this document:  http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/thinkvantage_en/tvsu4_mst_en.pdf
Without knowing a lot more details about your environment I'm not sure how to better guide you.  You might try posting in the Enterprise / IT Management forum and see if any of the folks there have done this already.

  • Home Environment - How to set up Update Retriever (UR) and Thin Installer (TI) in a home environment

    Serenityvalley wrote:
    You need to go to This Page and download just about everything on it -espeically the  System Update Deployment Guide and start reading.  It'll take you a few hours to learn what you need to do and implement it if you are familar with editing system registeries and you have some luck and everything goes well.
    You do NOT need to edit registry, just use Thin Installer instead of System Update on the clients. And there is no need to wade thru the deployment guide if you are setting this up in a home environment for just one or two clients.
    Edit: Note that Thin Installer does not run on Vista SP2 (neither does System Update.)
    Here are the few simple things you have to do:
    1. Download Update Retriever (UR) and Thin Installer (TI) from here.
    2. Install UR on one pc and TI on all clients you want to keep updated. UR installs into the Start -- All Programs -- Thinkvantage folder, TI installs into c:\program files\thininstaller.
    3. To initialize Update Retriever:
    a) specify the download folder, pick a place all clients can access. Create a new folder, TI will be confused if there is other stuff in it.
    b) change the settings to Severity -- Optional (assuming you want to see critical, recommended and optional downloads in the list), License -- Do not display and Status -- Active. After clicking next you enter the machine type, the op system and its language for each client you need to keep updated. Note that unless you change status to active everything will download as "test" and thus not be installed by the Thin Installer.
    4. Run the download, about 1 - 1.5GB for the first type, opsys and language combination  and an additional 0.5 - 1GB for each additional type depending on amount of overlap. You can be selective what you download but if you are an average home user -- just download all the items for your type/opsys/language combination(s) -- Thin Installer is a stripped down version of System Update and will decide what to install on the individual client. This is a one-time download, next time you run Update Retriever it will just download new drivers.
    5. To initialize TI on each client, copy the program from the Program Files directory and paste a shortcut to the desktop. Then rightclick on the shortcut and choose Properties, and in the target field of the shortcut tab after "C:\Program Files\ThinInstaller\ThinInstaller.exe" add the following: -repository your_UR_download_directory.
    6. Run the Thin installer on each client, it will perform exactly as System Update did, down to making the same mistakes that System Update did.
    7. As the date is getting close when Windows Update will start distributing Vista SP2 you may want to consider using Microsoft's SPBlockerTools preventing SP2 installation for up to 12 months.
    8. Debugging Tips
    TI ending with message An error occurred while gathering user information is reported when running under Vista SP2 -- TI will not run in SP2.
    Getting TI to "see" the database downloaded by UR is the main problem. If TI ends with a message saying corrupt or not found database you probably made a spelling mistake in the directory specified in the -repository parameter. If TI ends with a message saying no applicable packages to install it can mean a number of things:
    a) If you are unused to modifying the parameters in a shortcut you may have added -repository to the second field in the shortcut tab instead of the top field labeled Target, the two fields look very similar or you just made a typo in "-repository".
    b) Open UR again and first choose Modify settings on the left and double check that the directory there is the same directory you specified in -repository. Then choose Manage repository -- Update view and double check that all packages have status Active. If they don't it's not necessary to download again, just select all and hit the modify button to change status from Test to Active.
    c) In C:\Program Files\ThinInstaller\logs there are update logs from TI. Open one using Notepad and in edit menu search for the string
    Message: 'Share name' to use:
    This will tell you in which directory TI is searching for the updates. If it can't find a -repository parameter it uses an empty default databse
    d) If you used System Update regularly up to when it stopped working on April 1 and if you have an older model with not so many new driver updates it may actually happen that there are no new updates for your machine (even though you downloaded a lot.) Go to here and enter all fields except model to see what Lenovo shipped after April 1. (Don't click on driver matrices, staying on the downloads and drivers pages will give you a list in chronological order with the ones after April 1 at the top.)  Also  be aware that the database UR downloads from is at least 2 weeks behind when the drivers first become available on the web. Right now, the only new download in the database  applicable to most notebooks after April 1 is the Access Connections 5.22 driver. To check what release you have installed open Access Connections and go to help.
    I just did a clean install of a Vista64 system on my T500 and after installing the first few drivers manually (including drivers for harddisk and ethernet) let Thin Installer install the remaining 36 items for me. The only item left to fix was the known bug in the Ricoh 4 in 1 card driver SU installation. (For a clean install you need to run TI or SU more than once, it doesn't find all drivers the first time.)

    Did you change status from test to active in UR before downloading? If not you can change the downloaded items in the manage repository menu.
    Assuming the items you did download were not already installed on your client with TI it should work.

    Hi All,
    I have configure CRS2008 to using AD and Kerberos with Java application servers. Domain Controller is installed on W2K3 Server. In addition, CRS2008 is installed on another W2k3 Server.
    I have create service account in domain controller: CMSACC
    I have create two user account: CRuser1 and CRuser2
    I have create domain group: CRSGroup

    Actually, I am sucessful to logon Business View manager with CRuser1. However, I fail to logon CMC and infoview and got the above error. Have you any suggestion to solve this problem?
    Ken.

    if you can logon with client tools then that should be an indication that the service account running the CMS IS working! Good news.
    So the problem is likely with the java portion (krb5/bsclogin or java options)
    If the files are in c:\winnt\ (if not copy them there) and perform c:\program files\business objects\javasdk\bin\kinit username
    then enter and password/enter again
    Probably get the same message. To note in your krb5.ini all domain info must be in CAPS (the .com appears to be in lower case)
    kinit works with just the krb5.ini, java SDK and AD (removing BO config and the service account from the picture). Once that works if your java options are specified properly you should be able to login to CMC/infoview.
    also 1 last point. Add udp_preference_limit = 1 to the krb5 lib defaults section
    libdefaults
    default_realm = BD.com
    dns_lookup_kdc = true
    dns_lookup_realm = true
    udp_preference_limit = 1

  • On my Mac10.8.2 using PSE9 and can't convert multiple RAW images to Jpeg

    I am using PSE9 and just put it on our new Mac 10.8.2 from windows 7. It runs fine but things aren't quite the same. On windows if I wanted to covnert a RAW file to jpg and was in the organiser I just clicked on file, save, and selected jpg and could choose mulitple photos easily. On the mac when I am in the organiser and click on file there is no save  button....is it hiding. I can do them one at a time when I'm in edit but that is a very long way about doing it. Is there an easy way to select lots of photos in the organizer and convert them to jpg from RAW? Thanks.

    If you aren't using organizer, just command click to select them in the File>Open window;
    Then you should see this:

  • Using compactRIO and NI-CAN with multiple NI 9853 ports simultaneously

    Here's my problem.  I need to receive and log J1939 channel information on 4 seperate CAN buses IN REAL TIME.  I have a CompactRIO with 2 x NI 9853 giving me a total of 4 CAN ports.  Using the example "CAN Channel Receive" included with the CompactRIO I can see this is very easy to do on one CAN port using the CAN256 and CAN257 virtual interfaces in conjunction with the Channel and Frame APIs.  However, I need to do this very same thing 4 times simultaneously on 4 different CAN ports and I only have available 2 virtual CAN interfaces.  In order to do this on 4 physical CAN ports, I need 8 virtual CAN interfaces apparently.  In other words I need a CAN258, CAN259, CAN260, CAN261, CAN262, and CAN263.
    I know that it's possible to simply log the raw CAN messages and post process them to get channel information, but I'd rather not do this.  I'd rather receive the CAN messages and log the channel data in real time if possible.  Is this even possible on the CompactRIO and is this the only way to do it (using virtual interfaces)?  Why don't the CAN ports on the NI 9853 modules show up as CAN interfaces in MAX.  If they did, that would solve my problem and I wouldn't have to screw around with the virtual interfaces.  What's the use of being able to use multiple NI 9853 modules if you can only utilize the Frame and Channel APIs on one of the CAN ports at a time?
    Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

    Hi,
    Well the driver has only one pair of virtual Interfaces for Frame to channel conversion, so you have to make changes on the cRIO part of your application.
    Try to bundle all messages from all 4 ports in one stream of data and use DMA technologie to transmit the data to the host for processing. If you have one stream of data, you should be able to do the conversion with the virtual interfaces you have.
    The only risk i see is the performance for the virtual interfaces. It depends on your Busload, whether or not the controller is able to convert the streamin realtime.
    Hopefully you work with an R-series Board.  ;-)
    Attached you can find an picture for an example of bundling two ports together for receiving one stream using DMA.
    Hope that helps

  • MDT and Macs running Bootcamp – worked in MDT 2010, now does not in MDT 2012

    I haven’t been able to find much info on this so I thought I would try here and see if anyone can help.
    We’ve been using MDT 2010 for the last couple of years to install Windows 7 on Macintosh’s running Bootcamp and it’s been working fine.
    We recently upgraded to MDT 2012 and the same process we used to use for this does not work anymore and I would like to find out how to make it work on 2012.
    Here’s how the process works:
    First, setup Bootcamp on the Mac.  This creates another partition on the Mac for the Windows OS (partition 3 for MAC OS 10.6 and lower, partition 4 for OS 10.7 Lion because of the recovery partition).
    Unfortunately Bootcamp cannot create NTFS partitions so it formats it as FAT32.
    We then create a standard client task sequence using MDT and the Windows 7 source files (not a custom image) and give it a name to make it obvious it’s for Mac’s – “Windows 7 for Macintosh running Bootcamp”.
    We edit that task sequence and disable the built in “Format and Partition Disk” step since we don’t need to create the partition, only format it as NTFS.
    We then create a custom diskpart.txt file called BootCamp_Lion.txt with the following contents:
    SELECT DISK 0
    SELECT PARTITION 4
    FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK OVERRIDE
    We place this file in the “Extra directory to add” location we’ve specified in the Win PE Customization section so it is located on the root of X:\ when it boots into Win PE.
    We then add a command line to the task sequence:  diskpart.exe /s x:\BootCamp_Lion.txt
    to format the existing bootcamp partition as NTFS.  Then in the “Install Operating System” step we set it to apply to a specific disk and partition – Disk 0, Partition 4.
    This installs Windows 7 on the Bootcamp partition and leaves the Mac OS intact and has been working fine in MDT 2010.
    Now with MDT 2012, the task sequence starts fine, formats the partition, installs Win 7, but when it comes up in the full OS for the first time I get the error “Unable to find the SMS Task Sequencer.
    The deployment will not proceed.”  And the task sequence stops.
    I know the partitioning part has changed in 2012 and have read that you can get this error if you deploy to something other than disk 0, partition 1 but I’m wondering if I can accomplish the same thing that I used to have working in 2012.
    Is there a different way I can do this?  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Robb

    Hi Guys
    I have been having the same problem.
    What I have done to get around it is
    add a custom command as we all did in MDT 2010 to format partition 3 or 4 depending on the version of OSX
    don’t disable the Format and Partition Disk task but tick in create active partition then remove the partition properties and then click on options and check
    continue on error
    then under install operating system change the partition that you want to have windows installed on
    Once the deployment has completed you will receive the message that deployment has completed but with one error
    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Matthew

  • Using SSF_OPEN and SSF_CLOSE, is it possible to print the next smartform in the same page?

    Hi Experts,
    I'm using SSF_OPEN and SSF_CLOSE, to print multiple smartforms. In between SSF_OPEN and SSF_CLOSE, there is a loop at a smartform. The output prints each smartform in different pages. Is it possible to print the second smartform in the first page since there is still space for printing there?
    Thanks in Advanced,
    Jack

    Hi Jack,
    As per my knowledge,
    you can't print  two smartform in single page because smart form having own page-size.
    If your layout page is A4 size then first layout print in A4 page and next layout will be go-to next print page. but if you have different kind of page size for both layout then you can control from printer side then that case both page will be printed in single print page.

    I did not leave anything out from the error message.  It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..."  Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
    How do I repair this issue?  I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse.  I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

    Hi lustyln,
    I'm having a little trouble understanding all of what you are trying to explain. From what I can tell, it sounds like your PC has a lot of software problems and you want to know what is supposed to be there and what isn't.
    For reference, here are your product specifications:

  • Recommended configuration for load balanced Portal with load balancer, multiple gateways and multiple servers.

    Does anyone have a recommended network, hardware and software configuration guide for a Portal installation running with multiple gateways load balanced (ie one URL) that talk to multiple servers?

    David,
    We've used Resonate (software) to load balance the gateways. It allows
    you to group all the gateways under 1 virtual URL and load balance the
    incoming connections over each gateway depending on the rules that you
    define in Resonate. Look in the SUN portal whitepapers there is one that
    talks about it specifically.
    As far as load balancing the calls to the portals, the gateways will
    automatically load balance across all the portals that they know about
    using a simple round-robin rotation. You may be able to use Resonate in
    front of the portals but you may need to activate persistance within
    Resonate to ensure that the user always ends up on the portal that he
    established his initial connection on (if you want that), check with Sun
    on this one.

  • Issue regarding Thin Installer and driver packages

    Hello everybody,
    I have recently started to work for a new company and have been tasked with creating a new Windows deployment solution.
    My company are using Lenovo desktop and laptop and my installation image use Thin Installer to deploy drivers to our workstations during Windows deployment.
    I have been having some difficulties getting everything to work and I want to write about it here to hopefully help someone in the same situation as me and call out for better quality control at Lenovo.
    Here are the command line I call to start Thin Installer from the local computer:
    START /WAIT thininstaller.exe /CM -search A -action INSTALL -repository \\wds\lenovo -noicon -showprogress -IncludeRebootPackages 1,3,4  -noreboot
    Hers the issues I have expirienced:
    1. Sometimes packages downloaded with Update Retriever will be set to "Reboot type: Forces a reboot" as default. This causes the Thin Installer to reboot reguardless of the -noreboot switch.
    Its possible to change reboot type "Requires a reboot" in Update Retriever and than the updates installs fine.
    This causes problem with scripted installs where you cannot have the system reboot "out of order".
    Updates should never be default "forces a reboot".
    2. On my Thinkcenter e93z (10B8) the Intel Displaydriver (v 9.18.10.3220) wont install because the PnPID is not listed in the XML file. (my PnPID is VEN_8086&DEV_041E&SUBSYS_309C17AA (309D17AA is listed tho)). Manualy editing the XML files to include my PnPID solves the problem.
    Lenovo should really have better qualitycontrol here.
    3. On a t440s machine i have the Synaptics UltraNav Driver (v. 17.0.12.60) wont install automatically with Thin Installer.
    This is because the machine i installed failed the "BIOS test" in the XML file of the update package. I manually edited the XML file and replaced the "BIOS TEST" with one from another update that worked on that system and now everything installs automatically and works fine.
    Its possible that Lenovo has detected some kind of problem with my BIOS version and the Synaptics driver but everything seems to work fine for me.
    I hope this post will help someone in the future
    EDIT: Other people have called out some problems with the information provied in this post. You should read the whole thread before making any changes to your systems.
    Kind Regards,
    2bi

    2bi,
    Thanks for posting your findings.  I will investigate and escalate the missing PnP id issue for the Display Driver issue.  We absolutely need to avoid these kinds of escapes.
    For you ThinInstaller command line I would recommend not using the -showprogress parameter if you are using in a scripted deployment scenario with something like MDT and/or SCCM.  These solutions typically will not allow TI to interact with the desktop during deployment which is what -showprogress will cause.
    Also, you are telling TI to include packages that will automatically reboot your system (type 1), requires a reboot which can be delayed (type 3), will shutdown the machine automatically (type 4).  We have very few type 4 packages anymore; however we definitely have type 1 and type 3.  As sclexman mentioned, the -noreboot will only apply to the type 3 packages which leave the execution of the reboot up to TI.  So -noreboot tells TI that even if it installs updates of type 3, it should not reboot when finished.
    Changing the Reboot Type value in Update Retriever only changes how TI sees the package and does not alter how the package itself executes.  So if a package is designed to always automatically reboot, changing it to type 3 in UR will have no affect.  We have recently had a display driver released by Intel that will automatically reboot if the driver installer detects that it is upgrading an older version of the driver.  In a clean deployment scenario, the automatic reboot will not happen so in this case it is safe to change the type to type 3.
    This leads to another point.  All of our content that is available through Update Retriever is also intended for consumption by System Update which is the utility aimed at individual consumers to help them keep their drivers up to date.  Therefore this becomes our lowest common denominator that we have to support.  This leads to situations that may not be ideal for the deployment scenario.  If we had an army of resources we might be able to manage all of our content for both consumers and enterprise deployments; in effect doubling our efforts.  Unfortunately this is not the case and we are trying to do the best we can.
    Regarding the UltraNav update for T440s, I see that the XML has a _BIOS section under the Dependencies.  However it is defined such that any BIOS level will work because the first level listed is a wildcard asterisk (*).  This BIOS section is actually included for a completely different solution which also uses the XML.  It is not intended to control the targeting of the update for System Update or Thin Installer.  Perhaps there was a mistake made initially and the XML was released without the * and has since been fixed.

  • LabVIEW license for terminal servers and thin clients (e.g. LTSP)

    Does NI plan to provide a license agreement for terminal servers and thin
    clients?
    I've been told to purchase a multi-seat license. That doesn't make much
    sense since the thin clients won't be accessing DAQ hardware. They're
    just used for developing the LV source.
    Comments/suggestions?

    Yes, this is a very good point. Quite a unique situation when compared to
    text based languages. Keep in mind I certainly don't mind paying for that
    but I see no need to pay for much of the other features - like running it.
    This is certainly one of the other features you pay for with LV. Since
    we never plan to run the app on the thin client, why pay for that
    feature?
    What we do is crank out source code on the thin clients. We then send the
    source code to this wireless mobile DAQ station running WindowsXP. From
    there we can roll it up to our clients' target systems. That machine is
    used for debugging then compilin
    g so it has its own LV Prof Dev license
    installed on it. Also, it can be operated locally or remotely via remote
    desktop (one user at a time).
    I know it may sound strange but it works great. And as the NI Software
    License Agreement(NISLA) specifies, we have separate licenses on all
    machines that load LV into local memory. The thin clients load nothing
    into local memory, hence no need for a separate license.

    Yes, this is understandable. Installing one license on multiple machines
    is a big no-no. However, that is not what I'm trying to do. Take a peek
    at the "Grant of License" and "Single Seat License" sections of the NISLA.
    > You say "That doesn't make much sense since ..." One of my clients has a
    Ha! How about this scenario: As wireless hardware (bluetooth, wifi)
    becomes more common, perhaps NI will have a peer scanner on all PCs with
    LV installed. That way if you get within 100 feet of a P
    C with the same
    LV serial number, you get locked out and it sends a small message to the
    NI batcave.
    Thanks for the response. I'm hoping NI chimes in soon.

  • Used to be able to print multiple page pdf files on my HP 7310 all in one and then it stopped and would only print the curent page. This is tedious for long PDF docs. I am on 10.6.8 .

    Used to be ablert to print multiple page pdf files on my HP 7310 all in one printer and now I can only print the current page and therefore it takes forever printing them one by one. I am in version 10.6.8. Tried printing as image using the advanced click and that did not work either.  I have Adobe 9.0 reader installed.

    I tried this earlier, and I tried it again today.  Both times it said "Software Missing!"  and "HP Software required to connect to your printer over the network could not be found on this computer."  But when I tried to install the software (AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe, which I downloaded from HP's web site), it wouldn't install, as described above.  In the diagnostic utility, I clicked "skip", and it said "Connection Verified!", and "The printer is connected to the network and the services related to the network connections have been verified and reset to a normal operating state.  Everything appears to work fine at this point.  Please doa test print to verify that the issue is resolved or click Skip to move to the next step."  I clickedthe "Test Print" button, and immediately it popped up a box that said "Test Print Failed."
    I tried again to install the HP software, and it installed, detected the printer, and asked me to select it.  I selected the printer, clicked "next", and it did its network diagnostics.  Then it said "Problem(s) found with your network" and "Problem(s) may exist with the network functions of your printer . . ."  I continued the installation without connecting to the printer.  Then I ran your network printer diagnostic tool again, and got the same result - "HP Software required to connect to youir printer over the network could not be found on this computer."

  • Packaging and deploying jax ws (webservice) in multiple servers

    I am a java developer and new to JAX-WS.
    i got one requirement to create a web service using jax-ws, packaging using ant build and deploying it in JBOSS and WEBSPHERE server.
    The process which i followed to create a web service below:
         1) created a web service class using @webservice annotation
         2) created a client side artifacts using wsimport which is provided by Jdk and created a war and deployed it jboss.
         3) wsdl is getting generated while deploying a war using a URI - (http://localhost:8080/mywebapplication/routing?wsdl)
         4) create client class to call the webservice. everything is working fine for me.
    Need your expert input for the following below:
         1) if i write the ant build script to package the client stubs, how i can use wsdl location in wsimport ant task. should i use URI (wsdl="http://localhost:8080/mywebapplication/routing?wsdl") or
    (wsdl="d:/route.wsdl")? which is the best practice?
         2) i want to deploy my webservice in JBOSS and WEBSPHERE in different machine and different port no?
         for e.g
    *     http://ip1:port1/mywebapplication/route?wdl*
    *     http://ip2:port2/mywebapplication/route?wdl*
    *     http://ip3:port3/mywebapplication/route?wdl*
         how to mention dynamic ipaddress and port no while running ant build script?
         how to change the wsdl location and port number in generated wsdl and RoutingService client stubs class dynamically? (dont want to change soad address location manually)
    *     Do i need to use wsgen to generate server stubs?*
    *     Need your inputs in packaging and deploying jax ws in multiple servers.*
    Thanks in advance.

    how to change the wsdl location and port number in generated wsdl and RoutingService client stubs class dynamically? (dont want to change soad address location manually)
    Your client stub should look like that...
    <code>
    @WebServiceClient(name = "MyClientStub", targetNamespace = "http://www.openuri.org/", wsdlLocation = "http://localhost:8080/MyClientStub/MyClientStubProxy/#%7Bhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.openuri.org%2F%7DMyClientStub?wsdl")
    public class MyClientStub
    extends Service
    public MyClientStub(URL wsdlLocation, QName serviceName) {
    super(wsdlLocation, serviceName);
    </code>
    You can use the constructor above, like that...
    <code>
    URL baseUrl = MyClientStub.class.getResource(".");
    URL url = new URL(baseUrl, "http://your-server:your-port-no/MyClientStub/MyClientStubProxy/#%7Bhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.openuri.org%2F%7DMyClientStub?wsdl");
         MyClientStub stub = new MyClientStub(url, new QName("http://www.openuri.org/", "MyClientStub");
    </code>

  • Can I have multiple TFS instances use a single SSRS installation

    Can I have multiple TFS instances use a single SSRS installation?
    Thanks

    Hi Kim,
    According to your description, you have multiple TFS instances using one Reporting Services instance. Right?
    For installing TFS, to use a named instance with Team Foundation Server, you must install SQL Server by using a named instance, or move or restore Team Foundation Server data to a named instance, or create a team project collection on a named instance. Please
