Using UDFs from gloabl library
Hi Experts,
I have used in my mapping some UDFs which I have referred from the local namespace (like local UDF Library) , now I want to use the same UDF from a Global Namespace . And suppose this UDF is used more than once in my target message fields in different context, so in that case shall I need to change all of this mapping where the local.UDF is used to Global.UDF manually? is there any short way to change this quickly?
for e.g---
Source field- Name
Target Filed- Detail name
UDF- check
Name--> Local.check--
> Detail name
now this needs to be changed as Global.check for the target filed.
P.S I am concern with changing the UDF location, in both of the location (Local and Global ) same UDFs are written.

You have to change it manually at each of the places it were used...
As an alternative, you can export the mapping file to .mte & change it the references appropraitely & re-import the mapping file...

If it is only at 5-6 places, i will do it manually. But for more than 7 i will export inot .mte & then import it..

Erasing unused, (never-to-be-used) images from the Library. How, please?
Is there a way to Globally-Delete a subset of, or all of, the images in the Library? I want to erase all images that are NOT being used in a Album, Slideshow, or Book.
I take many near-duplicate shots and later select only one or two for use. The accumulated never-to-be used images are becoming overwhelming. doing it manually will take many hours and there is no way to be sure that a Library image is not used in a Album, Slideshow or Book...at least that I am aware of.
I really do not need to keep 8445+ images in the Library

and delete from there in groups of 100 or so emptying the iPhoto trash for each group - command-option-delete deletes photos from the library while you are in an album -- or you can flag 100 or so and control-option-delete deletes flagged photos

Using music from iTunes library to accompany slideshow
Hi
I would like to be able to use music from my iTunes library to accompany a slideshow in iPhoto 6. However, when I try to do this, all I can see is a small icon saying 'iTunes' but nothing happend when I click it...
Can anyone tell me how to get round this?

For example, when I go to views from main application it will use its own skin, but when I go to views from imported adf library I want it to use skin imported with adf lib.

at runtime you can switch easily. At design time you need to have the skin in the project to show it in JDeveloper. Here skins in ADF library don't work

Why can't I just use songs from my library as ringtones?
If iTunes is so fundamental to the iPhone even being able to be turned on and iTunes already has a built in function to limit any song to any snippet of time shouln't it be a simple call to the same underlying iTunes function to play a song (possibly with a parameter of how long/start and stop points since apparently the mpr files are only like 45 seconds long) to have the iPhone play a song for a ring tone? Haven't we already paid for the right to play the song once off iTunes why should we have to pay it again to buy a ringtone? And why do the ringtones still cost $1 if they aren't even the full song?
There is a technical reason... because that feature is not built into the phone. As for why, no-one here can comment on that.

I am trying to put together a slide show for a trip my wife and I took to England. I would like to be able to use music from both our itunes libraries in the slide show. I am using Aperture to create the slide show since it seems to be more versatile than iPhoto for this. Only trouble is that when I log into my username on the iMac I only see my iTunes library and similar when logging into her username. We have different music but would like to use some from each library in the slide show.
You can only use one library at a time in an Aperture slideshow, so I'd suggest to simply collect the audio that you want to use in a folder (export the songs from both iTunes Libraries) and then import this folder to Aperture. Now you have a project containing the audio files; you will see it in the Aperture Audio section of the audio Browser, right above the iTunes section.
You can use the Apperture audio just like the audio in iTunes to drag to the timeline of your slideshow.

Menu Templates missing from the library
I am a member of the new Creative cloud. I have downloaded and installed the CS6 applications including Encore. I went to use items from the "Library" only to find that there are none. I have since discovered that these "Library" Sets and Items are found on the Media Disk when you buy a retail box set. One of the training videos on Lynda.com suggests one can download these library items.
Does anybody know where I can find the download page for them?Stanley,
I wonder if the MOD's can do something to join all these Library Threads?
I can see potential problems with such, but to have a half-dozen (or maybe more) such threads, with mostly the same responses, is a bit tough to follow.
It would seem that new posters, with the same exact problems, would Reply to one of the existing threads, rather than start a new one, where they will only get links to all of the other threads.

Unable to refer to StandardPasswordFields from Password Library in my form
I am trying to use 'StandardPasswordFields' from Password Library in my custom form. But, these fields are not displayed on my form. I tied debugging and found that the 'password.targets' attribute is not set and hence these fields get disabled.
I am using a the form within a worflow task and I do not know how to set 'password.targets' attribute before the form associated to the workflow task is displayed.

2. What’s the version of operation system you are using? Is it Windows Server 2003 or Vista or XP?
If the answer is yes, please try to copy and paste a file which has smaller size to see if it will work. If it works, you can refer to this KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/900900
to modify the registry keys to solve the problem
1. Click “Start”, click “Run”, type “regedit”, and then click “OK”.
2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters
3. In the right pane, right-click the “FileSizeLimitInBytes” value, and then click “Modify”.
If you cannot see the “FileSizeLimitInBytes” value, right-click the blank space in the right pane, click “New”, click “DWORD Value”, type “FileSizeLimitInBytes”, and then click “OK”.
4. In the “Edit DWORD” Value box, click to select the “Decimal” option. In the box under “Value data”, type a value that is larger than the size of the file that you want to download. Click OK.
Note: The default value for the file size limit is 50000000 bytes.
5. Quit Registry Editor. Restart the computer.

Both my mother, father, and I recently got iPhones. We've all had iPods in the past and been able to survive under a single Apple ID/iCloud account. Now that we all have iPhones, we've heard a couple horror stories about parents and kids contacts and calenders merging when they are registered under the same Apple ID. What steps should we take to avoid this problem? We would still like to be able to share the same music, apps, videos, etc. If we all get individual Apple IDs, can we still all use the same iTunes library we have on our computer without any pitfalls?

A response would be much appreciated(:You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

I have a Macbook Pro operating system OSX 10.7.5 My Itunes version is 12.01.26. Here's the problem: with the older versions of ITunes I could connect a device and highlight and drag whatever music I wanted to load from my library to the device. Now, there's a different process which I cannot fathom. I don't want to sync my i-pod every time i want to add music; i don't want to restore my iPhone to do the same or to add photographs which were sent to me and then uploaded to my computer. You should still be able to manually manage the music on your iPhone within iTunes. Make sure that when your iPhone is plugged in, look in the Summary tab to see if “Manually manage music and videos” is enabled and you can even you turn off Automatically Sync when this iPhone is connected. Take a look at the first article below to give more information on that. As far as your other questions about calling someone, I have provided two options for you. If it is for feedback on iTunes, you can use the second link to give detailed feedback on what is going on. I upgraded to iTunes for windows on my Windows 8.1 64 bit laptop. I have not done any iTunes manipulations for many months. I just purchased a new song. I now have IOS 8.1.3 on my iPad Mini and I tried to move the new song from my library from my purchased file to a playlist. I can no longer click and drag the song from anything to the playlist. In addition, when I sync my iPad to my laptop none of my music from the iPad shows up in iTunes on the computer. Why does Apple continuously mess around with the simple actions of the program. It is very disheartening to be treated like this as a long time customer. This has happened so many times that I am getting the feeling that they seem to enjoy screwing up the users ability to use the program
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Write down what it says about "version"and report that here. Now continue to "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).

The main issue might be having too little RAM. Most computers run newer systems more smoothly with more RAM than Apple says is a "minimum" for running that system version
After installing 10.6.3 run the updater to 10.6.8, then upgrade iTunes.

The new system should install on top of the old one. That said, things have been known to go wrong and it makes sense to do a backup before installing the new system. In fact you seem to care about your files and things so you need to always have a backup because one day you will wake up and you hard drive will be dead and everrything on it gone. Buy an external hard drive and start using Time Machine or something to back up. The other risk is when you install the new iTunes. It doesn't happen frequently given the millions of users but there are daily posts here from people who for some reason the installation wiped out their whole library. If you have a backup then there's nothing to worry about.
This is well within what many people can do at home. It's a matter of inserting an optical disc and clicking you way through menus. -

Based on the title of your post, seems like the application you were using was "My Sketch". This forum is for Adobe Photoshop Sketch: Adobe Photoshop Sketch on the App Store on iTunes. If you have not tried Adobe Photoshop Sketch, please give it a try. Hopefully, it will be a better fit for what you want to do. You are allowed to select any of your images from your photo gallery.
