Validation Order

Hi all,
Is possible to define the order of Validation of a Entity?
I've defined a entity ProductEO, and it has Id, Description fields. Both are required, but Description has a Declared Validation Rules associated to it. It verify if Description contains invalid characters as *%$@, the problem is that my custom validation is executed and Description contains a invalid character, so a Exception is throw, after this the field is validated again and a Exception to Required Field is throw. In my GUI (Web Application) is show two messages, one to Invalid Characters and other to Required Field.
Anybody knows a solution for this?

Add the first validation in the setter method, and the second validation as a method validation for that attribute.

    Some body know  if there is an user exit to validate  production order  before  execute the  Settlement (KO88)???

    As an addendum to this thread, I have to say that the flushing order has been set not to be sorted; that is, 'getCacheSortedFlush()' on the environment object returns false. That way, I would have expected that the objects would be created in the database in the order they were created in my OCCI application, so foreign key constraints would pass.

  • Error while deleting an order

    Hi,
    In the planning book  i could see an order displayed as a Replenishment delivery(stk trsf del)in the distribution demand(TLB Confirmed) KF and in the requirements view also i could see the same.
    the order was transferred from R3 and now is in the past, i want to delete this order now.
    i tried to delete it using /sapapo/RLCDELETE report but when i execute it says "order not in the live cache", when i try to delete it from the requirements view it says "no valid order selected" but i could see the order(for a past date)in both planning book(displayed in grey color) and in the requirements view.
    can you pls help.

    Hi Dhanush,
    I suppose there is no need to run any consistency jobs for this issue(as per my understanding).
    As specified above by Senthil just try first running //CCR for the LOC_PRODUCT with category as Sales Order (also tick the VBBE table option) and Purchase Order. I think this will solve your purpose. Also please make sure that the IMs for the LOC_PRODUCT is active.

  • Error while Goods receipt for rework order.

    I have created one Rework order through TC CO07.
    While doing Goods Receipt it gives Error Msg as following.
    "No valid order items exist for order 200000203"

    Dear,
    There is only confirmation CO11N for the rework order. And good reciept MB31 for main order.
    There is no GR for rework order. Once you confirm rework order,you need to do the GR for the balance qty of  main order or parent order.
    And you need to priliminary settlement of rework order first in CO8B, hence the cost will be moved to parent order, then you settle parent order in KO88.

  • Shipment Document, No Purchase Order & Service Entry Sheet generated

    Hi Everyone
    We have transportation & shipment module configured in our company.
    We are running this process from the last 3 years without any problems whatsoever.
    But suddenly from the past 1 month we are facing a very serious issue while saving shipment cost document, i.e *no purchase* *order and service entry sheet* is generated on saving the service entry sheet.
    A purchase order and a service entry sheet is generated automatically whenever a shipment cost document is saved. All the congifurations & customisations are correctly done as per sap standards and no request have been moved to production which will disturb the above process.
    I have scanned the almost all sdn.sap queries for solutions and have incorporated all the suggestions which will help to solve this issue.
    But still the problem persists, i.e still no purchase order & service entry sheet is generated automatically after saving the shipment cost document.
    All the settings mentioned below are checked thoroughly.
    -- assign puachaging data
    --maintain acc. assignment cat.
    --automatic G/L acc. determination
    --automatic determination of CO assignments
    Check the following prerequisites for shipment cost processing has maintained or not
    -Shipment must marked as relevant for shipment cost
    -Shipment must have the required total status set in shipment cost type
    -Shipment must have transportation status planned
    -Shipment must have service agent
    -Maintainiing and assign shipment pricing procedure to shipement cost
    -Maintaining condition records,
    Please suggest some solutions to the above issue.

    In tcode t_56 generate PO is "C", I.e generate po for a validity of 1 month, the item category settings are the same since as before.
    But for some reason the system is not generating any purchase order from the past month.
    The error message is shown below.
    No purchase order item was generated for shipment cost item 0000014950 000001
    Message no. VY633
    Diagnosis
    You have marked the shipment cost item for transmission to the finanacial accounting department. For this transaction, you need an order item. The system has attempted to create an order item, but has not succeeded in doing so.
    System Response
    Transmission of data to financial accounting without a valid order item is not possible. For this reason, all items that you have marked for transmission are reset.
    Procedure
    The log displays further information as to why the system could not create an order, although all the settings in Customizing were configured. You can also create an order manually that corresonds to the shipment cost item and then transmit this again.

  • Good receipt for production order

    Hi experts,
    When good receipt for production order 60003408 , it shows error "No valid order items exist for order 60003408" like this how to resolve this...
    In diagnosis they were specified as change into good receipt in production order screen but in default it shows GR Non-valuated.

    You can create production order directly from sale order at CO08.
    You can create the production order without material in CO07.
    CO07 specially meant for Rework order (Production order without material)

  • Hung during upload, had to force quit - do I re-order?

    Not sure of the status it hung at 27% upload status (the internet connection was and is fine).
    I could not quit aperture while it said I had a book order pending so I had to force quit as there seemed to be no way out.
    Now how do I re-upload? Do I have to go through the Buy Book process again? I have a valid order, how do I re-send the file?

    Question answered:
    Under Help / Ordering Books and Prints in Aperture menu was a link for order status (keyed to my Apple ID). As no order was listed I went ahead and went through the "Buy Book" process again and it went through the upload fine. Followed by an e-mail confirmaion back to me.

    Iamloading the data for my delivery ZODS from 2lis_12_vcitm from PSA , but getting the following error :
    No order was found for delivery 0000014019 /000100 .
    Can any body help me out.

    Technically, only when there is Header data in VBAK the delivery can take place, there should be record in VBAK, someone may have done a hard delete on that record. The question is, I am not sure BW system internally validate if the record has a valid order number or not. As long as the data gets to PSA fine, then that should be loaded to ods without problem. It seems like may be this record has some invalid char... seems like the order and line item attached, but the line item is too long, try to confirm if that is valid record specially the line item.

  • Not able to delete orders in APO

    Dear Sir,
    We are facing problem during deletion of certain Purchase-Orders and Production-Orders in APO . Before deleting the Orders , we had first deactivated the Integration Model of the reference Material in R3 .
    During the Dletion in APO (using Tcode RRP4) , we are getting the error message as below...
    No valid orders selected for deletion
    Message no. /SAPAPO/RRP246
    We would like to mention that Pp_Firmed is appearing as Ticked against these  reference Orders .
    We request SAP experts to kindly guide us as what steps need to be followed for deleting these Orders in APO .

    Hi,
    You can follow these steps to delete any inconsistent orders or you can use /SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER
    1. Goto /SAPAPO/RRP3 for the product and loc combinations.
    2. Enter gt_io in the area where you are entering tcode.
    3. Find out the internal order no and copy this internal number.
    4.Go to SA38 or se38.
    5.Enter the program /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS.
    6. enter the internal order number and planning version.
    7.select the check box delete order object.
    8.execute.
    Now these orders should be deleted.

  • Orde Flow - Generic is failing in Validation (Vision R12.1 Instance)

    We have installed Vision Instance at client place to do basic research before implementing it into the Development instnance but the issue is
    Order Flow Generic workflow is not validating. It is throwing the error like
    Please correct the following reported Errors/Warnings, if any -
    Validating Order Type : Mixed (1437)
    1. Please verify that the value for attribute WAIT_RELATIVE_TIME of activity WAIT in process R_STANDARD_HEADER ( Order Flow - Generic ) is greater than the average time it takes Workflow Background Process to complete.
    2. Please verify that activity SHIP_LINE precedes FULFILL_LINE in process R_CONFIGURATION_LINE ( Line Flow - Configuration ).
    3. Please verify that the value for attribute WAIT_RELATIVE_TIME of activity WAIT in process R_CONFIGURATION_LINE ( Line Flow - Configuration ) is greater than the average time it takes Workflow Background Process to complete.
    4. Please verify that activity SHIP_LINE precedes FULFILL_LINE in process ADS_R_STANDARD_LINE_OM_SRV_CUS ( ADS Line Flow - Activate Service ).
    There are similar kind of 30-31 more errors are there.
    Any help will be highly appereciated....

  • Not valid Explosion Date for Production Version

    Hi Experts,
    I am creating a production order for a new item and I am getting the following error.
    version: xx
    is not valid on explosion date
    no other versions are available
    should the document link be transfered anyway?
    What is the right approach to correct this?
    if I choose yes, the production order does great created,
    but is it going to be a valid order?

    Hi,
    I believe it should be a warning message, else system would not allow you to proceed, so do a re-check on that.
    Coming to resolving the issue, this would occur when the valid-from date of the production version is later than the date on which bom & routing is exploded in the order. So before proceeding to make any changes, analyze the valid from dates of the BOM & Routing, now create the production version valid from that date.
    This would at the very minimum ensure that the production version will be valid. If you still get a warning message, it implies that validty dates of the BOM & Routing needs a re-visit as well.
    So go to MM02, MRP-4 / work scheduling view & modify the valid from dates of the production version. Once the same is done create a new order & system should read the production version.

  • Tpdequeue rollback vs message ordering in queue

    I am trying to adopt tuxedo queue subsystem to my application. I have a tuxedo queue created with command:
    qcreate -d persist dummySvc fifo none 9999999
    When I enqueue (TPNOFLAGS) three messages foo1, foo2 and foo3 I can dequeue them in order foo1, foo2, foo3.
    But I need this (fifo) ordering also when I sometimes rollback dequeue operation:
    enqueue foo1 -> commit
    enqueue foo2 -> commit
    enqueue foo3 -> commit
    dequeue, I get foo1 -> rollback
    dequeue, I get foo2 (I want foo1 again!) -> commit
    dequeue, I get foo3 -> commit
    dequeue, I get foo1 -> commit
    ordering: foo2, foo3, foo1 instead of foo1, foo2, foo3
    What you can see above is that foo1 jumped out of order because of application rollback.
    How can I configure tuxedo queue and/or enqueue and dequeue functions to ensure that when
    I rollback dequeue operation the rolled back message will be still first message to dequeue next time?
    checked on tuxedo: 11.1.1.2.0 Patch Level 022 and 129 on Aix 6.1 64 bit

    When I've been testing this issue with two simple services: svcEnqueue and svcDequeue, calling them from script+ud32 (sometimes forcing it to fail and rollback dequeue operation) I noticed that when I make sleep >=1 second after each rollback then It results with valid ordering. Sleep is issued in bash script
    outside transactions and queue operations.
    bad ordering:
    dequeue with commit (got foo1)
    dequeue with commit (got foo2)
    dequeue with fail (got and rolled back foo3)
    dequeue with commit (got foo4)
    good ordering:
    dequeue with commit (got foo1)
    dequeue with commit (got foo2)
    dequeue with fail (got and rolled back foo3)
    sleep outside transaction at least one second
    dequeue with commit (got foo3)
    Is it a bug? how can I be sure that tuxedo (TMQUEUE?) finished it work related to rollback and I can safely dequeue message with proper ordering?

  • DO NOT BUY AN IPHOTO BOOK!!!!!!!

    I have been going at it with Apple now for over a month! I ordered a book and it came back with blank pages and with photos not scaled properly. (This was my second iPhoto book. The first one also had several minor printing flaws which we overlooked) I sent three emails via the iPhoto support page and received no replies. Apple promises a response within 48 hrs. Then some two weeks later they had the nerve to send me a survey thanking me for using the web support function and please rate "how we did!" You can only imagine how I responded. I next tried contacted a live person at Apple Care to help me out. I provided them my order number. They indicated that was not a valid order number. Turns out that Apple Care cannot track orders made through iPhoto! No one at Apple Care was even familiar with what an iPhoto book was. I then called Apple corporate hq's and spoke to a "customer care" rep. She assured me I would be contacted within 48 hrs (sound familiar) and my problem would be resolved. I heard nothing for over a week. Calls back to Ms. Graser of customer care were met by voice mail. Finally this week I received a canned response back from Apple. They noted that they would credit the charge back to my card. They also asked if I were interested in reordering my book and if so they would "assist" me. I replied that I was interested in trying to reorder the book. So what does Apple do? Without any further contact to find out why the book came back incomplete (such as a corrupt file or incomlete file transfer), they reprinted the same screwed up book and recharged my credit card for the full amount (including $15 for express shipping)!
    BUYER BEWARE! Apple provides no support or quality control for this product. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Welcome to the forums, and I'm sorry about your book. I too have ordered a book very recently and also found several photos to be on the dark side, and several too red as well.
    But I believe that there's a "but" here.
    I don't know your professional background -- I work in the print industry (I design pages) and I know how hard it is to get the color correction on images just right, EVEN if your monitor is calibrated and your particular version of image processing software is optimized for use with your specific output device. And that's when a professional is behind the wheel, which I am not.
    My iMac's monitor is not calibrated, I am not trained to make images look their best for reproduction, and I am using a consumer-level application. With a little bit of research on these forums (which you have done), anyone can find out that the reviews on the iPhoto books' quality are mixed... At the very least you'll know you're taking a calculated risk -- as you said yourself.
    I would consider myself a picky customer, but I am not disappointed with the quality of these books, especially considering the price, and knowing how difficult and unpredictable color correction can be. If you have some photos that are good (even if it is only 25 out of 142), then I would suspect the problem is with the "pre-pressing" of these images, not the printing. If the printing was to blame, they would ALL be bad.
    That said, I am still sorry about your negative experience. We anticipate these books to be great, and it's a bummer when they aren't.
    Full disclosure: I am in fact asking for a refund as well on my recent book, and I too don't like the fact that there is no phone support for iPhoto orders. I sent my e-mail 24 hours ago, so it hasn't been 48 hours yet. The reason I am asking for a refund is not due to print quality (I think I am responsible for the color/darkness thing), but because my $57 softcover 8.5x11 book arrived in a flimsy envelope and got bent during shipping. The (cheaper) calendars I ordered the same day arrived in sturdy boxes, so the logic behind that escapes me.
    Anyway. For the future, if you've got a project you really care about, I'd recommend spending a little extra and ordering a "test book" with the minimum amount of pages, using only your most challenging photos, so you'll know how to tweak them for the final book. If it matters that much, the extra money will be well-spent, and in the end, the price/quality factor of these one-of-a-kind books will still be more than acceptable.
