Vision M Help Ple

I am thinking of getting a Zen Vision M. I want to know if the charger I have for my Zen Micro will work to charge the Vision M?Thanks

I'm not quite sure about the Micro, but my wall charger for my previous Zen Sleek Photo works with the Vision M so I would assume your's is the same. The charger I have is white and looks kinda big. I hope that helped in some way.

Zen vision problem HELP PLE

I recently bought a zen vision 4gb
but i cannot get it to work, after i've charged it and turn it on it just says "Re-building Library" and stops about half way through
also it cannot pick up the device through USB so cannot transfer songs etc.
my brother has a zen micro 5gb which works fine , we also use the same computer

I'm having problems with my new Vision:M too. Help Ple

I just received a new Vision M which was purchased from an online retailer. My first disappointment was the absence of a charger that plugs into the wall. All that is provided is the USB cable.
I installed the software on my computer (Windows XP Pro) and connected the Vision M as instructed; and nothing. It's not charging, nothing lights up and it shows no signs of life. I tried various USB cables and ports with no different results.
Have I overlooked anything? Why doesn't this thing start up, or start charging? My next step will be to repeat this process on a different computer.
Please help. I have only 7 days to return this device it turns out to be defecti've.

ok new zen vision m needs 5+hrs charging to have enough power for your PC to recognise it. a wall charger would help, especially for new zen. in meantime, ensure your PC is having the preferred system requirements using this tool

GoZen Vision:M/Z500 playdock Help, pleas

Ok, here it goes.
About 8 months ago, I bought a Zen Vision:M 30GB player. I had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever.
At the end of April, I bought a Z500 playdock for it, direct from Creative. After using it about 3-4 times with my mp3 player, I got the apparently common problem of the mp3 player starting in recovery mode and freezing half way. After contacting customer support, I formatted, re-installed the firmware etc, as I was told to do.
This worked for like 5-6 songs, then a message saying "Playback Error" started appearing at random points in the player. I assumed that, after 8 months, my player was about need of a replacement, so I purchased a new one from a site called PortaGadgets.
I put all my music onto it, and put it on my playdock. "Playback Error" appears again, about 9 songs in, for no reason at all. Then it sticks on Rebuilding mode, and I have to format etc.
I contact customer support a second time, and they just give me the same thing about formatting etc that I have already done. I now phone them to explain my problem, and just get the same, plus the guy e-mailed me it, just in case I didn't hear.
The players seem to work fine up to the point that I plug them into the playdock, at which point errors appear.
I have tried adding the music in small blocks, Cleaning and rebooting after each block, to see if it is any of my mp3s that are the problem, but that hasn't turned up any results. In fact, my dad has the same mp3 player, with the same music, with an identical docking station and he has encountered no problems whatsoever.
Can anyone, at all, anywhere recommend something to me? Please. I am honestly fed up with this now. I have about ?500 worth of Creative products and it is all useless. I can't understand why this is happening but there seems to be some kind of connection with putting the player in my playdock.
I really miss having my mp3 player when I'm out walking etc, but at the same time, I bought the playdock for use around the house so I don't want to get rid of it.
I turned about 5 friends onto Creative products when they were considering other brands of mp3 players as I had full faith in Creative but now I just dont know what to think. Support just seems to be pointing me in the same direction every time and I'm left with a fair chunk of wasted money if I can't get them working.
Has anyone experienced similar problems with the Z500 playdock? Or does anyone know what may be causing this?
I honestly appreciate any help or advice you can give because I'm just about giving up with this.

I own the Zen Vision M 60gb & have just bought the Playdock Z500 which I agree sounds amazing .My question is regarding the remote control . I've managed to do most things on it but I was wondering if you knew how to jump to the A - Z listing down the right side of the screen in artist & track search menus ?On the player you normally would press the edge of the touchpad but on the remote I cant find a way of using the A - Z shortcuts & have to scroll down for what seems like ages!Hope somebody can offer some help?Thanks,?John?

New to bt - vision replay help needed

Hello to you all i'm new to bt.
I recently purchased the £17.99 phone, tv, & broadband package. This package was meant to include free & unliimited access to vision replay. Problem is i'm unable to get bbc iplayer programs at all, & it wants to charge me for itv & 4od content!!!. Can anyone here please help me out?, have tried calling the helplines & have got nowhere fast with them. There's only so many times i can cope with pulling out & reconnecting cables (at their request in a day.

I understand that replay is not available with this package now, but during the month of October bt's website was definitely offering replay as part of this package!. Clearly it must've been a one time deal, but this is the package i ordered - but not the one i've received. As i said before, i still have the transcript in my email from the online advisor confirming this. Purchasing this package all hinged on the free replay offer (to save from using the pc for catch up services), & i'm feeling rather conned if bt aren't going to honour this fact.
Is there a helpline number where i'll be able to speak with an English customer operator?, as i'm just going round & round in circles with the Indian operators.

Hello, I just bought a Vision: M today. Ive been charging it on the USB for about 30 mins and it will not start up. Is this normal for the USB charge out of the box? Or do I have a problem with the unit's

A: If this is your initial charge, or if the battery has been completely drained, it can twelve hours or so if using the AC wall adapter, and as much as 24 hours if charging by USB.
nothing new its because trhe player is sooo drained itl take a WHILE to completely get it to charge.

Creative vision m help needed b

Ok so i have a creative vision m and the other day i droped it on the ground. I turned it on and it resumed playin the song i was previously listening to. When i when to change the song it made a funny clicking noise so i reset it, and now when i turn it on it takes me strate to the recovery mode. Is there away i can fix it with out having to send it to creative or am i stuck with a $300 paperweight.

I m adding MATKL field in the selection of MB51 report, when i took matkl in select option and write selection text in the text elements, it is not getting reflect in the output..
eg. select-options matkl for mara-matkl.
text-element->selection-text-> 'Enter material group' -> activate.
This message is not reflecting in the selection screen..
Please help me & have ur points.

Zen Vision:M - help with moving files around once loa

Guys and Gals, i recently bought the Zen Vision:M and need some help. Once i loaded songs or vdos into it i find that i am not able to move these files from one folder to another. I am using the zen vision explorer program that came with it. it allows me to right click then select 'cut' or 'copy' but then when i navigate to where i want to paste it the paste option is greyed out when i right click. anyone have a solution for this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

it sucks... you want a song in one folder like the album into another right? Yeah you have to modify the ID tags to do that.... I took all my songs and changed the album name to ALL for my zvm using snackamp. Look it up it works fine. You can choose the songs you want to a particular album (works for 200 at a time) and choose the album for them all. Thats the only advantage of iPod i'd have to say... the ALL option under songs... so yeah get snackamp, use it, take all the songs off your zen and re-add them and it should be fine.

Just order over the phone. If your broadband contract is up try and haggle them down on that whilst you're at it, find out what other ISPs are offering first

I believe you can accomplish this by setting up separate user profiles for each of you on your Mac (System Preferences>Users & Groups (click the lock symbol if locked and provide the administrator name and password, then click the "+"). That should allow you to sign into separate iCloud accounts and maintain separate iTunes libraries within your respective user accounts.

How to transfer all music in my Zen Micro to either my PC or another mp3 player....help ple

i have a creative micro zen with about 000 handpicked and some very hard to find songs on it...i don't really have trouble with the player itself, just the software and the continous problems seems like everyone is having with something... my question is this..........if i wanted to get another mp3 player as a backup in case this one crashes, then what does everyone think about one of the smaller ipods? what about their software and such? and, if i do decide to get an ipod, then how would i transfer all these 000 mp3 songs onto the new ipod? would there be an issue with the fact that they are not bought from itunes?? would it not be safe to do that? and if it is okay to do that,? how would i transfer the songs back onto my PC, as i have tried everything suggested on this board recently in trying to do that using Mediasource and it just won't work even after downloading all new plugins etc. if someone has an idea about this, please let me know step by step if possible about how i can get these songs that are valuable to me from my zen micro, to my computer, and then onto another mp3 and if ipod (nano for instance) is a wise choice or if there is another player in the same category that others have found they have waaaay less problems with and better support/service with it's?any help anyone gives would be greatly appreciated!? i appreciate all the suggestions to my other questions as well!?thanks,barb
