Want ONE copy printed of an Excel sheet - printer wants to print 72 pages.

I'm trying to print ONE copy of an Excel worksheet (HP 4500, all in one printer) I've tried numerous times and different ideas, but it STILL wants to print 72 copies (and I keep having to cancel printing, but can't get the problem solved.)

What excel version are you using?
Perhaps you can try this;
Open the Spreadsheet with the data you need and hold down the Ctrl key while highlighting the area of the document you want to print out.
GO to Page Layout go to Print Area button andSet Print Area… .
go to Print Titles… I think is the last option on the ribbon but I can be wrong,
click on Print Preview. Now you should be able to preview the area that you are trying to printout.
You can actually add by selecting the area and using add to print area option.

I came across something similar recently where it printed the left hand side only!
If I want to print an email, instead of File > Print ( does not print properly ) I click on the print icon on my email webpage ( do not use applemail and access gmail direct) which then takes me to print preview showing the complete email which prints ok.
Some webpages ( File>Print) do not print properly and some do. Those that do not generally have their own printer icon (path) that needs to be clicked on.
Maybe something to do with encryption but don't know.
Hope this helps in some way.

HP All-in-One 2100 Prints Blank Pages

Anyone had this issue where an HP ALL-IN-ONE only prints blank pages, or only parts of the page? It worked great for years, now after a few clean installs, it's junk. Sometimes it works somtimes not. Now seemingly always not.
Any suggestions?

I have had this problem FOREVER. I even paid the $59.95 to HP for "Support time" to fix the problem, which they never could do.
For the last year or so I've been using GIMP print drivers, which work, but I have even better news.
Every few months I check the HP site to see if they have released new drivers. This weekend when I checked there was a new driver, version 7.9, as a Universal binary. So I gave it a shot.
I have an OfficeJet 6110xi, but I bet they updated it for all the All-in-ones. Here's the link to the drivers I am using:

To my amazement and surprise everything is working again!
Another great surpise is that scanning multi-page documents under "PDF to Adobe Reader" now actually results in one file with N pages rather than N 1-page files.

Hp all-in One remote prints test page but cannot find printer for anything else

The HP All-in-One application can print test pages on my 8610 but when I go to any document or photo and try to print I get the following message "This Printer is not available." I have checked and have the latest version of the HP All-in-one Printer Remote application and the HP Print Service Plugin applications from the Google Play store. I am using a Samsung Galaxy 5 running Android 5.0. If I print a page from my laptop using wireless to this printer, I can see the All-in-One application tracking my printer status so I know it can see the printer. The app on the phone will show the status under the printer name going from Ready to Unavailable to Ready as a document is printed and then finished. I am printing directly with local WIFI and am not using the ePrint feature.

I hope you have a pleasant experience here. I'd like to help you with the issues you are having printing from your Samsung Galaxy S5 to your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One printer. Firstly, do you have the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet? The printer has a power moderator built in, so if it is plugged into a power surge bar or battery backup it may be getting inconsistent power. This can cause all kinds of firmware glitches (like the printer status not being broadcast properly). If that doesn't immediately resolve the issue, please follow the steps below: Network Power Reset: Let's leave the router on and unplug the power cable (NOTE: Do not reset the router.), then do the same with the printer, and shut down the computer. After a full minute, plug the router back in, wait for it to fully power up, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light to become solid. Once both the router and printer are on, go ahead and turn the computer back on. Doing this will refresh the network connection. Restore Network Defaults and Reconnect: 1. On the front panel of the printer, touch your wireless icon at the top2. Select Settings.3. Select Restore Network Defaults.4. Restart your printer.5. Once it's booted back up, touch the wireless icon again.6. Select Settings.7. Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to enter your wireless network details.8. Try enabling the web services again. Another thing I would suggest, would be to download the HP ePrint app, rather than the All-in-One Remote. The Remote is moreso suited for scanning to your phone from your product, so I would suggest trying the ePrint app (you can download it from the Play Store). HP 3510 All In One only printing blank pages after cartridge replacement

Recently replaced my blank ink cartridge after supply level showed low, and printed output looked faded.
Using genuine HP product - check
Cartridge supply level good - check
Powered on and off twice - check
Installed, removed, re-installed cartidges - check
Good paper - check
Alignment prints blank page - does not print partial or low quality, just produces a blank page.
Printing from my computer, a word document, also produces a blank page - not parital - blank.
Was printing before the HP cartridge change.
Did I buy a bad HP cartridge?
Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention that I am not getting an error message either, except when I go through the motions of scanning the (blank) alignment page. That error is related to the fact that it is blank though.

Copy-paste values from excel sheet into variable screen of SAP BI 7.0 query

Report has selection by material in the variable screen. Users would like to to run a report for a set of materials (100+ items). He wants to copy-paste materials into material variable to avoid manual entry.
I know its impossible. Are thee any ways to allow user not to enter this materials manually and run the report.

You might want to try with a text file (.txt).. place all the 100+ values into a text file.. like the notepad.. make sure you have only one column with all these number.. no headers or no blank spaces in the beginning..
then, in the variable (variable should have been defined as "select options" or "multiple single values"), if you can go the screen where we can make multiple entries, we will have an option to import from a file.. and select the text file you have created above.. then all the 100+ values will be imported..
we do this all the time..

HP 3180 All-in-one will print test page but nothing else

Hi,
I have a HP 3180 All-in-one connected to my desktop PC which runs on Vista OS. The printer seems to be perfectly happy to print a test page but with all other documents it feeds the paper as though it's getting ready to print, then the cartridge moves to start and nothing happens. The programs I have tried printing from include Microsoft Word 2003, Opera (to see if it was just an issue with Word) and Notepad. Google Chrome won't print either, and pops up with the ONLY error message I have recieved from any program which states : "Something went wrong when trying to print. Please check your printer and try again."
Notepad seems to print fine, as with the test page. With all the other software nothing shows up in the printer queue at all when I open the Printers and Devices window. I have run HP Diagnostics on it and that says that nothing is wrong.
Is this a problem with driver versions? I believe my boyfriend has uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Bexytea - I noticed you mentioned you had run the HP diagnostics on it. Not sure which one, but if it wasn't the print diagnostic utility, I'd definitely recommend running it:

If you've already tried that utilitiy with no success, you might try installing one of the drivers that comes with Windows Vista by going into the Printers window, right clicking and selecting add printer - follow the prompts, choose HP and there is a selection for HP Photosmart 3100 series. It may not provide full functionality, but it would help narrow down the issue and might provide a workaround for the short term.

Unable to print more than one copy at a time to any printer

I've had this issue for a while but have just been dealing with it but I ran into an issue where I needed 50 copes of a document and I had to print the document 50 times......
First, the issue; Through any of the applications I've tried (Preview, Adobe, Pages, numbers) to print multiple copies, I can't get more than one to print at a time. Even if I set the number of copies to 2, 5, 10 or whatever, only one copy prints.
I've tried multiple printers, One connected via USB, one shared through an OS X Leopard server and the other through an IP port all with the same result.
All of the printers are various HPs but I had this issue with a Lexmark one in the past. I am running 10.5.5 and am really hoping someone has a solution to this.

Please note that this example maybe slow at filling the excel table
(perhaps four fields per second on a 900 MHz machine - almost 30 seconds
for a short example).
To get the data on properties and methods - there is a bit of smoke and mirrors
going on here; they are EXCEL properties and methods, not sap ones - so you need
to look at excel help to determine how a particular function is structured. then
build the block in sap, as shown in the example.
If you only want to transfer the data to Excel like when you transfer the data from
ALV to Excel simply use the Function Modules:

If you want more modifications when you transfer it to Excel use:
XXL_FULL_API

we have two excell sheets, we r copying content of first excell sheet into
second one by using paste special option
so it makes OLE connection,whene evere we change the content in first sheet that will effect on second sheet.
we need second excell sheet in web Browser
we tried using jsp but it displaying in diff format like byte code

Look at the below thread, i posted complete code in this one, just copy that Program and past in your SAP and run the Program, it will create 3 sheets with the names also, then look at the Sheet name in the code, you will understand where to add the code

I am using the type pools OLE2 to put colors in the Excel sheet.
What is the property to fill color in the Excel sheet cell.
Also I need to merge cells in the excel sheet.

SQL Loader Excel Sheet Work book Issue!

Hi Everyone:
How can my Excel Sheet convert into CSV or whatever format where I can able to load data into oracle.
Rigth now I do copy and paste from excel sheet into notepad.

If you have seperate sheets in your workbook then you're going to have to save each one out as a seperate CSV file and load each one into Oracle either using SQL*Loader or using External Tables (this latter will require that the files are located on the database server).
Or...
You could set up an ODBC connection to your Excel workbook and, provided your data is is a suitably table type style and your database is running on a windows server, you will be able to set up an external database connection to the Excel workbook and query each sheet as a table e.g.:
1- Go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Data Sources (ODBC)>System DSN and create a data source with appropriate driver. Name it EXCL.
2- In %ORACLE_HOME%\Network\Admin\Tnsnames.ora fie add entry:
