Want to communicate with a Transcend Jetflash usb pendrive

I want to communicate with a Transcend Jetflash usb pendrive through VISA USB raw can any one suggest me anything about this

Hi tanu,
It is possible to use the VISA Driver Development Wizard to create a driver for your USB device, provided you have all the necessary information about the device such as vendor ID, product ID, and communication protocol.  Here are a KnowledgeBase entry and a Tutorial that should help you get started:
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/E3A2C4FE42D7ED0D86256DB7005C65C9?OpenDocument

If all you are wanting to do is write data to the USB drive, then it might be easier to let the OS use it's own driver and just accesses the mounted drive with LabVIEW.

I want to communicate with a hearing impaired partner who wears bluetooth enabled hearing aids.
Ideally, I would use an bluetooth mic via an iPhone that would work directly with her hearing aids.  This would be done primarily in home and work environments.
Can I do this with an iPhone?  If so, how?

Having IMEI number cannot help you trace the iPhone.
If you have activated Find My iPhone and your iPhone is ON and have Internet access, you can locate it. Otherwise, report to the police, your carrier and change all passwords that were used i iPhone.

  • I want to communicate with J1850 system. Is there any hardware available for this?

I would like to communicate with a J1850 system. I am wondering whether there is any hardware available for this similar to CAN. Is there a possibility to find exampls for this kind of communication.

I'm still new in this area but I will try to help. AFAIK, J1850 comes in
two flavors: VPW and PWM. You can purchase an adapter that converts RS232
signals to those required by J1850 for about $100.
I suggest using an adapter from Scantool.net. I say this because I
have one and it's very easy to use. It's flexible enough to use with a
terminal (hyperterminal, minicom, etc.) or to interface with LabVIEW, as I
have done for you already. Go to OpenG.org for the download:
    http://openg.org/tiki/tiki-index.
    php?page=On+Board+Diagnostic+-+OBDII
Let me know if it works for you. The interface is a little weak but the
VIs should clue you in on how to handle communications. I plan to add
another update in a few days so check the site regularly. I would
    appreciate your feedback.

  • Want to communicate with Atmel's AT9261

    Hi,
Atmel provide a ARM ICE interface names SAM_BA, the programming interface is in DLL, anyone knows if can programming with the dll to communicate with it? how to do this? Thanks.
    David

(Note: This is the same answer, verbatim, that I gave to another poster asking about how to use a vendor's DLL.)
The only answer I can give you is how to
generally use a DLL in LabVIEW. This is done with the Call Library
Function Node function. There is an example that ships with LabVIEW
called "Call DLL" that has many examples of various types of calls.
There are also several articles in the NI KnowledgeBase on calling external code with LabVIEW. I cannot answer how to use their DLL, as you would need to look at the documentation for their DLL.

  • Executable doesn't want to communicate with my DAQ

I am having an issue getting my executable file to communicate with my DAQ. I am using a Asus Eeebook (Windows 7) to run an executable file that I made in LabVIEW. If I am running the executable on my LabVIEW computer (Windows 7) it works perfectly. However if I take that same program and copy to my Asus all of my displays read as if it was not hooked up. If I replug the chassis into the Asus, the computer detects the DAQ chassis. The chassis with the DAQ is still hooked up straight to the Asus.  I have all the drivers for the DAQs updated from the NI site and according to device manager they are working correctly. Can anyone give me some suggestions to troubleshoot this issue?

I am simply copying and pasting the executable. I also copy the application.aliases file and the configuration settings file that comes with the executable. As for NI MAX I can see the DAQ and the chassis under devices and interfaces. When I run test panels on the LABview computer I get an error message "The driver fail to communicate with cDAQ2Mod5 through self-test. Error -201105 occurred at Self-Test". The DAQs I have are 9203 and 9208. The one that I am using right now is the 9203 DAQ. As far as I know I did not create an installer but just an executable. How to I make an installer?

  • I updated my iPhone with latest update.  I was asked if I wanted to communicate with iCloud for all my devices.  I chose yes.  I than am told I need to check my email to verify my account and there is not an email for apple to verify

I updated both my iPad and iPhone with latest update.  Love it!  However, I wanted to use the find iPhone using iCloud feature.  From the beginning of update it kept prompting me to verify my account when I wanted to use iCloud ???  Apple kept telling me to check my email to verify my account and there is not an email from them.   And I'm not talking about verifying by my alternate email which I was successful at.

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up.  Did you back-up just before your software update?  It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.
    Sorry for your losses.

    Hello sir,
I want to communicate with ECU through NI USB CAN interface while i tried to communicate with ECU it gives timeout error. here i am using CCP version 1.0, ECU toolkit 2.1.4 and NI CAN 2.7.2 .if you have any problem that communicates with ECU using CCP version 1.0 Please attach it.
    Thanks and Regards,

So for the fifth time you start a new thread about the same problem!
If you don't get any response to your threads, it could be because you are not giving a lot information about your problem. You could start with giving the vi you have problem with, so that we can see what you are doing.
You also need to give any error code and a description on that you have done, in details!
You also had one response in one of the other threads, it is polite to make an answer when someone is replying to you.

  • Why doesn't SignalExpress communicate with TDS3054B scope?

    HELP!
I have a TDS3054B scope with v3.39 firmware installed on it.  I want to communicate with it using SignalExpress but can't!  I can see the instrument in Measurement & Automation Explorer (v4.2.0.3001).  It shows up as GPIB0::1::INSTR.  I have a USB-GPIB cable going from my laptop to the scope.  The laptop is running LabVIEW 8.2.  I have installed the drivers for the scope from NI's website but still can't get it working...
I can communicate with the scope using Tektronix's OpenChoice Desktop software, but that software is limited in what it can do...
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks again, Kent.
The article helped some, but I still don't have it working...
In MAX, under the IVI Drivers >> Logical Names, I have the name MyScope.  For the General tab, I have the Driver Session listed as tkds30xx & a Description "TDS3054B oscilloscope".
In MAX, under the IVI Drivers >> Driver Sessions >> tkds30xx >> General tab, I have the following:
Initialization Options enabled: Cache, Range Check, Query Instrument Status;     Simulate With: Don't Simulate;     Driver Setup: tkds30xx;     Description: TDS 3000 Series
In MAX, under the IVI Drivers >> Driver Sessions >> tkds30xx >> Hardware tab, I have the following:
Hardware Assets: Name - TDS3054B (checked); Resource Descriptor - GPIB0::1::INSTR
In MAX, under the IVI Drivers >> Driver Sessions >> tkds30xx >> Software tab, I have the following:
Software Module: <None>;  my only choices are <None> or NIDMM.
In MAX, under the IVI Drivers >> Driver Sessions >> tkds30xx >> Virtual Names tab, I have the following:
    Virtual Name: CHANNEL1, CHANNEL2, CHANNEL3, CHANNEL4;     Physical Name: CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4
In MAX, under the IVI Drivers >> Driver Sessions >> tkds30xx >> Initial Settings tab, I have nothing.
In LabVIEW SignalExpress, I go to Add Step >> Acquire Signals >> IVI Acquire >> IVI Scope Acquire.  The Step Setup box is displayed.  On the Configuration tab >> Device section >> IVI session name, I select Create New...  Another dialoge box opens with an IVI session name in it.  I change it to MyScope (same as in MAX), choose the Resource Descriptor GPIB0::1::INSTR (same as in MAX), but can't select an instrument driver.  The only thing available under Instrument driver is a check mark.  I can't select it for some unknown reason.  I hit the OK button & the box closes, returning to the Step Setup screen.  I try to run the step once & get an error stating:
    "ivi_IviScope Initialize With Options.vi<ERR>
Driver Status: (Hex 0xBFFA1207) Primary Error: (Hex 0xBFFA1207) The item does not exist in the collection.
    Elaboration: tkds30xx"

  • Communicating with HID Class using USB RAW

I'm attempting to communicate with a HID class USB device (not a keyboard or mouse).  I've gotten the USB device to enumerate (with some significant effort) as an NI VISA USB device by using the Driver Development Wizard.  I know that I'm supposed to use interrupt transfers to endpoint 1 (index), the Set_Report HID request is 0x09, and the HID decriptor type is 0x21.  I think the value arguement on Control OUT is 0, but I'm not sure.  It seems like I've thought of everything, but the device still does not respond.  I see stuff happening when I probe the bus.  Has anyone done anything like this before?  Are you supposed to use the USB Control OUT VI for an interrupt OUT request?
    See attached .gif of code.

The first answer would be if it doesn't do it when something is one way, then do it that way. Seriously though, what do you mean by corrupted? Gaps in data? How fast are you transfering data? It may be that the processor just isn't keeping up, the UI thread for LabVIEW can take up a fair amount of processor, as do most visual "events" in Windows. It may be that the structure of your data transfer part isn't able to keep up when there isn't enough processor available. There are ways to write LabVIEW code that is more efficient that a similar function written differently. What are you running this on, a multi-core machine by any chance? If yes, then it might benefit from LabVIEW's ability (in the most recent versions) to select which core to run on.

  • Communicate with RS485

    Hello,
I want to communicate with two device (up to twelve). The problem is that the documentation of my device is very badly written (DSP9000 from Riber if you want to know). It says that for a network communicating I should write for an commands : EOD GID GID UID UID STX MN1 MN2 <command> ETX BCC    (for example "r off" is a command). When I write on one device only I use the attached file (ex.vi).
    Someone can Help me ?

The first reason your code won't work is that the string you are sending is "@ABCDEF" which means nothing to the controller.  You have to send the string of characters that are formatted on page 18 of the manual you attached.  I am not sure if you looked at my example code at all.
Your string control is labelled as "String (HEX formatted ASCII" but is actually just normal display with hexadecimal digits and spaces.  As a result you are doing a lot of manipulation of the characters to convert them to hex codes.  All you need is a string control that has its properties on the right click menu set to Hex display.  Then you can type in the hexadecimal string and use the string as is.
I am reattaching your VI with this control set to the example string shown on page 19 of the manual.  Try this to start.
Then the question will be are there just a few commands you will execute which you can predefine the string to send along with its checksum character, or will the VI need to be more flexible to send any kind of command.  If the latter, you will need to code how the block checksum character is calculated.  You would also have to concatenate the special control characters together like I did in the example I attached earlier.
I would also recommend that you attached a serial read function so you can see what response you get back from the controller.  If you are still having problems, double check your serial port settings of baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits.
Also check your wiring.  Your subject says you are using RS-485.  Is it 2-wire or 4-wire?  The manual is a little cryptic in that it starts talking about RS-422 on page 21.  But on page 22, lists the RS-485 2-wire and 4-wire setups.  But it never truly shows the full wiring of an RS-422 setup.

iPhone contacts: file transfer to Windows 7 via USB-cable
My iPhone can communicate with the computer only via USB-cable (no mobile data, no bluetooth, no internet, no outlook). As I want to get the phone to the "doctor" I want to save specifically my contact data and calendar details on the computer (OS: Windows 7). How can I solve this task? I will appreciate your valuable information, thanks.

Using the iPhone, the USB cable, iTunes and Windows Contacts, sync the iPhone contacts to Windows Contacts. That will save them there. They are also included in the iPhone backup made in iTunes, and if you use iCloud.
I'm sorry, I missed the calendar part the first time I looked. For calendar, you need a supported application on the computer (Outlook) or if you use iCloud, you can use the iCloud contacts and calendar app to sync.

  • Can i communicate by the USB port, if my application is set up to communicate with the serial RS232 port???

Hi to all labview users... Please help me with my deadly problem. Last Deadline is on monday next week!.
I got a complete program now, written and tested OK. It communicates with a slave to control a motor. I've set up the program to communicate with the slave by the VISA RS232 Serial Port commuication.  and all works fine...
Now the problem is.. that The communication should have been by the USB port instead. So what I have done now, is that i used a USB to RS232 converter.  So that the USB Plug is plugged to the PC, and the RS232 end to my SLAVE,
When I send a command to my SLAVE,  the SLAVE seems to understand it and it executes the command. But I must read some data at the port after sending my command to the SLAVE, coz, this command ask the SLAVE to start streaming data to me.
All communication to me from the Slave  crashes so that i get ( sometimes if I get data ) wrong unknown data i cant understand.
So the big question is: Can i use USB communication although my Application is set up with serial communication if I use a USB to RS232 converter???  ( the Driver for the USB - SERIAL conv. is installed well.)
    Baudrate :115200.. parity : none,  Data bits: 8, stop bit : 1.
    Please help me.....

    Hi ZamZam,
Thanks for your detalied description of the problem. However I think the problem is how your USB-RS232 converter is converting the incoming serial command to the USB port. All Labview can see is a "normal" serial port. Do you have some information on the converter? You might also want to contact them to see if they are aware of this issue.

  • How to communicate with HID USB device under windows XP with Labview

I have designed a EZ-USB FX2 device and I need to communicate with LabVIEW. I mean I just want to send and receive data. I don’t know how to achieve this goal.Someone have advised me to design a HID device, then use VISA Driver Development Wizards to generate driver(inf file).SO I defined it to a hid device .However when I connect my hid device to the computer, it will automatically be recognized as HID compliance device. I can’t to install the inf file driver. I wondered whether all HID devices will be acquiescently installed the drivers contained in the windows rather than use the inf file driver generated by VISA Driver Development Wizards? If so,what should I do next to communicate with HID USB device under windows XP with Labview? HOPE TO GET HELP!

    Hi,
I am working on a project using PIC18F4550 MCU and USB.
I would need to send and receive data from the MCU thru USB. I have uninstaled the HID and created a new NI-VISA driver for my MCU. this worked fine, and it did showed up in MAX
Unfortunately I was not able to receive data from the MCU, Just sending!
I thought to use HID.DLL but the way I need to use the functions inside the HID DLL is simply too much for me, I am not a PC programmer.
There is any kind of VI that is able to use HID.DLL to comunicate with external devices conected to PC thru USB?
    Please Help

Yes, the email addresses need to be unique to each device. You may use the same Apple ID on each device, but the email address used by each device needs to be different.
