Executable doesn't want to communicate with my DAQ

I am having an issue getting my executable file to communicate with my DAQ. I am using a Asus Eeebook (Windows 7) to run an executable file that I made in LabVIEW. If I am running the executable on my LabVIEW computer (Windows 7) it works perfectly. However if I take that same program and copy to my Asus all of my displays read as if it was not hooked up. If I replug the chassis into the Asus, the computer detects the DAQ chassis. The chassis with the DAQ is still hooked up straight to the Asus.  I have all the drivers for the DAQs updated from the NI site and according to device manager they are working correctly. Can anyone give me some suggestions to troubleshoot this issue?

I am simply copying and pasting the executable. I also copy the application.aliases file and the configuration settings file that comes with the executable. As for NI MAX I can see the DAQ and the chassis under devices and interfaces. When I run test panels on the LABview computer I get an error message "The driver fail to communicate with cDAQ2Mod5 through self-test. Error -201105 occurred at Self-Test". The DAQs I have are 9203 and 9208. The one that I am using right now is the 9203 DAQ. As far as I know I did not create an installer but just an executable. How to I make an installer?

Having IMEI number cannot help you trace the iPhone.
If you have activated Find My iPhone and your iPhone is ON and have Internet access, you can locate it. Otherwise, report to the police, your carrier and change all passwords that were used i iPhone.

  • Want to communicate with a Transcend Jetflash usb pendrive

I want to communicate with a Transcend Jetflash usb pendrive through VISA USB raw can any one suggest me anything about this

    Hi tanu,
It is possible to use the VISA Driver Development Wizard to create a driver for your USB device, provided you have all the necessary information about the device such as vendor ID, product ID, and communication protocol.  Here are a KnowledgeBase entry and a Tutorial that should help you get started:

If all you are wanting to do is write data to the USB drive, then it might be easier to let the OS use it's own driver and just accesses the mounted drive with LabVIEW.

I'm still new in this area but I will try to help. AFAIK, J1850 comes in
two flavors: VPW and PWM. You can purchase an adapter that converts RS232
signals to those required by J1850 for about $100.
I suggest using an adapter from Scantool.net. I say this because I
have one and it's very easy to use. It's flexible enough to use with a
terminal (hyperterminal, minicom, etc.) or to interface with LabVIEW, as I
have done for you already. Go to OpenG.org for the download:
    http://openg.org/tiki/tiki-index.
    php?page=On+Board+Diagnostic+-+OBDII
Let me know if it works for you. The interface is a little weak but the
VIs should clue you in on how to handle communications. I plan to add
another update in a few days so check the site regularly. I would
    appreciate your feedback.

  • Want to communicate with Atmel's AT9261

    Hi,
Atmel provide a ARM ICE interface names SAM_BA, the programming interface is in DLL, anyone knows if can programming with the dll to communicate with it? how to do this? Thanks.
    David

(Note: This is the same answer, verbatim, that I gave to another poster asking about how to use a vendor's DLL.)
The only answer I can give you is how to
generally use a DLL in LabVIEW. This is done with the Call Library
Function Node function. There is an example that ships with LabVIEW
called "Call DLL" that has many examples of various types of calls.
There are also several articles in the NI KnowledgeBase on calling external code with LabVIEW. I cannot answer how to use their DLL, as you would need to look at the documentation for their DLL.

  • I updated my iPhone with latest update.  I was asked if I wanted to communicate with iCloud for all my devices.  I chose yes.  I than am told I need to check my email to verify my account and there is not an email for apple to verify

I updated both my iPad and iPhone with latest update.  Love it!  However, I wanted to use the find iPhone using iCloud feature.  From the beginning of update it kept prompting me to verify my account when I wanted to use iCloud ???  Apple kept telling me to check my email to verify my account and there is not an email from them.   And I'm not talking about verifying by my alternate email which I was successful at.

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up.  Did you back-up just before your software update?  It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.
    Sorry for your losses.

  • Help, itunes doesn't want to work with airtunes and my airport express!

Strangely specific problem with playing itunes using airtunes. Just connected an Airport express to my time capsule. All the software and firmware is up to date, and I'm streaming from itunes to an airport express connected to a stereo. My itunes is on a laptop. My library is on the time capsule. Almost everytime the song changes, the audio drops out and stays out until I pause and replay the song. It's the weirdest thing. There are no random audio drops, just a failure to keep playing when the song switches (and it doesn't happen every time, just some of the time). This is similar but not the same as the problems other folks are having with airport express and itunes audio drop outs. Does anyone have a solution?

Problem solved. Upgrading to most recent itunes relased yesterday seems to have fixed the problem.

  • Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD doesn't want to work with new MacBook Air

I have a (pre-unibody) MacBook Pro and a Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD. I just picked up a MacBook Air with a MiniDisplay Port to DVI adapter. The monitor works fine with my older Pro but when I connect using the adapter to my Air, the monitor doesn't work. The monitor momentarily lights up and complains that it's not receiving a signal.
    Any ideas?

Hello there - did you end up ever solving this one?

  • Bluetooth doesn't want to connect with Blackberry 8830

I hope someone can help. I have a MacBook and a Blackberry 8830 (Curve). I gone through the Bluetooth Assistant and it shows a passkey which I've entered into my Blackberry but the computer never connects with the phone. I want to have Daylite via Dialectic to dial my Blackberry. The only time the computer shows connection to the Blackberry is when I configure the device but as soon as the configuration process is done and you click Quit - the computer disconnects from the phone.
The phone shows that the computer is a Paired Device.
    Suggestions?
    Thx.

Are you using Bluetooth & AirPlay on your iPhone? AirPlay sometimes can connect you to Bluetooth stereo's.

  • My MacBook Pro doesn't want to open with my password or guess

I was deleting video in my iTunes storage and I received a pop notice to free up some space. I did mange to free up some space but once I restarted my MacBook I couldn't register back in with my password, all I get is a blank screen every time I try to go in.

Take each of these steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
The first step in dealing with a boot failure is to secure your data. If you want to preserve the contents of the startup drive, and you don't already have at least one current backup, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care about the data that has changed since your last backup, you can skip this step.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
         a. Boot into the Recovery partition, or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) When the OS X Utilities screen appears, launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”
    b. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode. Use the working Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
    c. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
    Step 2
Sometimes a boot failure can be resolved by resetting the NVRAM.
    Step 3
Press and hold the power button until the power shuts off. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to boot, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Use a different keyboard and/or mouse, if those devices are wired. If you can boot now, one of the devices you disconnected, or a combination of them, is causing the problem. Finding out which one is a process of elimination.
If you've booted from an external storage device, make sure that your internal boot volume is selected in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences.
    Step 4
Boot in safe mode. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
When you boot in safe mode, it's normal to see a dark gray progress bar on a light gray background. If the progress bar gets stuck for more than a few minutes, or if the system shuts down automatically while the progress bar is displayed, your boot volume is corrupt and the drive is probably malfunctioning. In that case, go to Step 5.
If you can boot and log in now, empty the Trash, and then open the Finder Info window on your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) Check that you have at least 9 GB of available space, as shown in the window. If you don't, copy as many files as necessary to another volume (not another folder on the same volume) and delete the originals. Deletion isn't complete until you empty the Trash again. Do this until the available space is more than 9 GB. Then reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)
If the boot process hangs again, the problem is likely caused by a third-party system modification that you installed. Post for further instructions.
    Step 5
Launch Disk Utility in Recovery mode (see Step 1.) Select your startup volume, then run Repair Disk. If any problems are found, repeat until clear. If Disk Utility reports that the volume can't be repaired, the drive has malfunctioned and should be replaced. You might choose to tolerate one such malfunction in the life of the drive. In that case, erase the volume and restore from a backup. If the same thing ever happens again, replace the drive immediately.
This is one of the rare situations in which you should also run Repair Permissions, ignoring the false warnings it may produce. Look for the line "Permissions repair complete" at the end of the output. Then reboot as usual.
    Step 6
Reinstall the OS. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
    Step 7
Repeat Step 6, but this time erase the boot volume in Disk Utility before installing. The system should automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant. Follow the prompts to transfer your data from a Time Machine or other backup.
    Step 8
This step applies only to older Macs (not current models) that have a logic-board ("PRAM") battery. Both desktop and portable Macs used to have such a battery. The logic-board battery is separate from the main battery of a portable. A dead logic-board battery can cause a boot failure. Typically the boot failure will be preceded by loss of the startup disk and system clock settings. See the user manual for replacement instructions. You may have to take the machine to a service provider to have the battery replaced.
    Step 9
If you get this far, you're probably dealing with a hardware fault. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested. If you can't get to an Apple Store, go to another authorized service provider.

  • Outlook doesn't want to connect with OSX Server on 2 out of 3 clients

I have three computers on which I have installed Outlook 2011.  All three are running Mavericks.  On one of them, a MacBook air, I have established an outlook account connecting to my OSX server with no problems.  On the other two computers when I set the parameters the same way, I cannot establish an outlook account.  When I use Apple Mail on any of the three machines, I am able to establish accounts for iCloud and  the OSX server with no problems.  Can anyone point me to the source of this problem or a method for trouble shooting it?
