Wanted an option "ALL" in LOV's which shows us at time of prompt

Hi, i am getting problem while doing the following process. Can anyone plz help me to do this ?
When the List of values are populated for an object (web intelligence) in a prompt there are distinct values which are displayed .
For example for  Object Year  it would be 2001 , 2002, 2003 , where an end user can select single or multiple values.
We  are looking for a value which will be displayed as u2018ALLu2019 in the lovu2019s and when selected will take all the values for the query.

Hi,
We had to create list of values like this in the old days before the optional prompts.
Which you have to do in the universe by the way, it's not possible in WebI.
But... Now that we have optional prompts, why not use them?
Create an optional prompt for the year and if you do not fill it in you get no filter value, so all years
(it does state it is optional to fill it in, so it shouldn't be that hard to figure it out for an end-user).
If you really want the old-school solution...
change your LOV query from the original to select the string 'All' from a small table (sys.dual is ideal in the Oracle world).
original select
UNION ALL
select 'All' from sys.dual
Now use the familiar logic to take the 'All' out of the real filter when selected.
instead of column_name=@prompt() use
(@prompt()='All' or column_name=@prompt())
dont forget the brackets!
