Warning message in method

Is it possible insert a warning message in a method?
If it is possible canyou send me an example?
Thanks a lot.
CV

Hello
There is nothing special about warning messages in methods, e.g.:
METHOD my_method.
MESSAGE 'This is a warning with MY_METHOD' TYPE 'W'.
ENDMETHOD.
The question is how will your class react if the user pushes the ESCAPE button in order to cancel the further processing.

  • Warning messages from ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST  method CHECK

    Hello All,
I am facing below mentioned issue with BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST
1: how can we issue warning messages from BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST method CHECK?
2: Check method is called twice if I click on check button in ME52N.
    Thanks

    HI  ,
    You can  use  Below
include mm_messages_mac. "useful macros for message handling
    if  ur condition   .
    mmpur_message_forced 'W' 'ME' '083' text-001 '' '' ''.
    endif.
text-001  : text element   for your description  .
BUt Warning Message will not keep the screen on error page  .  it will be  better  to use   'E' for error   if you want
    mmpur_message_forced 'E' 'ME' '083' text-001 '' '' ''.

  • Warning message in ITS MOBILE

    Hello,
In ITS Mobile after entering user name and password it takes me to LM00 transaction.
But before LM00 transaction is displayed I get 4 warning messages. I need to press OK/Close for each message. The same warning message appears when I move between transaction in the RF Menu also. I don't get any warning message if I test the same in the internet explorer in desktop.
Below is the warning message displayed:
Warning message u2018Microsoft Jscript runtime error, Line:304, Character:1, Error: Object doesnu2019t support this property or method, Source :(Null)u2019
I use handheld MC9090 with Windows Mobile 5.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hello Karthik,
Is the logon screen the ITSmobile logon screen?  It sounds like your system is configured to use the standard logon, which would result in a javascript error on some mobile browsers.  Please go to SICF and make sure that your service's settings are the same as for the itsmobile00 service.

  • SSIS package fails with the error as given below. But its warning messages are incorrect.

My SSIS package loads data from access database to SQL Server database.
It's a straight copy. It fails with the below warnings and error message as shown below:
    Error messages:
[OLE DB Source [113]] Error: There was an error with OLE DB Source.Outputs[OLE DB Source Output].Columns[RetentionID] on OLE DB Source.Outputs[OLE DB Source Output]. The column status returned was: "Text was truncated or one or more characters had no

[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED.  The PrimeOutput method on OLE DB Source returned error code 0xC020902A.  The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure
code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing.  There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
There are 3 warning messages even before I run the package. Warnings are all about the mismatch between the source and destination column sizes.
I cross checked the source and destination column sizes. The destination column sizes are fairly high than the source column sizes.
It worked well all the while and when we are going to pre-prod it is throwing errors. Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thank you.

Please check if the dev destination table has same column data types and size as compared with pre prod table

  • How to show warning message in am

How to show warning message in am but not Stop , it still can go ahead.
    Thank you very much.

    jamras ,
If i got you correct you wanna show user a list fo warnings after that have occured in some method in AM, and show them to user collectively, and the processing of the page should not stop in the above. What you need to do for it, is instead of throwing warning message in AM, collect all warnings in a arraylist or vector. when you navigate back to CO, iterate through this arraylist/vector and for each use pagecontext.putDialogmessage(oaexception).In this way you will be able to show all warning messages on page and your processing will not stop!

  • Change of error message into warning message

While doing FBZP i have found the following error.
Clearing acct only allowed for an outgoing bill of exch.pmnt
    Message no. F3029
I am not able to go further, the above message is coming.
I want to make the error message into warning message.
    Please suggest, how to overcome

    Hello BSR,
The Error message F3029 is raised when the clearing account (T042I-VKONT) is filled but the payment method in question is not defined as "Bill/exchange".
I assume that the field is not changable at the moment. You may make necessary changes (delete the entry or delete the specified account) with the instructions below.
    1. Go to Tcd: FBZP -> Click [Pmt methods in country]
    2. Select the entry for the erroneous country(?)/payment method
    3. Change Payment method classification to 'Bill/ex' and save
Now you should be able to change "Set Up Bank Determination for Payment
    Transactions" table.
If you still want to use this payment method, please change back to the original classification after making necessary changes in T042I.
I believe this information would help you in resolving the reported issue.
    Best Regards,
    Vanessa Barth.

  • Pop up warning message while creating PO

    Hi,
How to give a Genral or a POP up Warning Message while creating and checking a PO in ME21n and ME22n.
Even i tried in changing the local setting in the menu bar, but it doesnt work.
Help and suggestions will be much appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards.
    Kumar.

    Hi Jay,
I tired with the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST  in the method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~CHECK, but still i am able to display only error message not Warning message.
    Any suggestion regarding this.....
    Thanks & Regards.

  • Print PDF file using Acrobat SDK - Warning message

    Hello,
We are trying to create automatic program in c# that will print all pdf files located in a specific folder, using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 SDK.
Whenever the application tries to print file, we receive a warning message ("WARNING! A script has requested to print an Acrobat file. This could print an entire document. Do you want to proceed printing?").
If we press yes, the file is printed, but next time we'll run the application, this message will appear again.
Since this application supposed to run automatically (with no interaction with the end users), we want to prevent this warning message from appearing.
How can we eliminate this warning message?
Is there any other way to print PDF files using Adobe Acrobat from another application?
    Thanks,
    Lilach.

joeln3:  I believe the original post refers to a client application, not a web page.  Why use JavaScript from within a client application?  I understood their use case to involve a client app referencing the PDF Library, loading various PDF files, and using one (or more) of the PDF Library's Print methods to invoke Acrobat's internal print routines.

  • BADI/user exit for ME21N - Warning message for "our reference" field

    Dear all,
    I have a problem.
In ME21N, I need to show a warning message (message w... ) when user enter an already-used-before input in "Our reference' field (EKKO-UNSEZ).
    I've tried in two methods.
    1. Using fm EXIT_SAPMM06E_004. But it can only works for Error message. My warning message never shows up.
    2. Tried to implement classic BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, using the PROCESS_HEADER method. Got the break-point spot on, but still didn't show the warning message.
Why is my warning message always got override?
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance
    Ahmad

  • AnyConnect VPN Warning Message

    Hi
I have setup AnyConnect VPN and all works fine apart from the warning messages appearing about the server being Untrusted.
I am not too good with certificates so any help will be much appreciated. When I open anyconnect client and click connect, the warning appears then so I click continue anyway to carry on. Then after entering username//password the warning appears a second time and again i click continue and carry on.
We had a wildcard certificate so I installed in on the asa in the CA certificates section, Now the 2nd warning has gone but the first one still appears.
    Any ideas???
    Thanks

You can simply accept the self-signed certificate the first time you are presented with that message and direct AnyConnect to always trust such certificates.
If you don't want to do that, you need to make your clients automatically trust this certificate from your ASA. You can do that several ways. You mentioned using a 3rd party vendor - that ends up being the method of using a vendor in the trusted root Certificate Authority (CA) list. If you don't use one of the 3rd party ones, you will need to push out the trust via some software deployment method - e.g. a GPO for Windows clients in a managed AD setup or via pre-deploying with yet another 3rd party tool like LANdesk.
If you don't have an internal CA or AD-managed infrastructure for your clients then just telling users to click "always trust" is the path of least resistance (although the least secure).

  • Warning messages creation in VKP5 & VKP6

    Hi  All,
I am creating some warning messages in VKP5 from  BADI " SPC_POSTING_CONTROL" .
1.Warning messages are not stroing in the LOGS , because logs badi is triggering  after executing the VKP5.
2.When i am creating the pricing document from menubar option in the o/p of VKP5  Badi is not triggering .When i click on the save button then the badi triggering but i am unable see the messages in the log .
3.I have found one exit "EXIT_SAPLWVK1_003" this one triggering when i click from menu bar option but it does not have table paramater for storing more than one warning message it contains  structure i can store only one message .
4.When i run the VKP6 also badi is not triggering but exit is triggering when i change any data in the o/p of vkp6 .
Our sytem is SAP-IS retails system ,same fucntionality working in SAP -R/3 . I donot the reason why its not working for SAP-IS retail system .
If any body have the solution please provide to me .
    Regards
    Srihari

    Hi Shihari
Check the BADI 'PWL_SP_DETERMINATION'. You have a sample coding, en method PROCESSCHECK_AND_SP_DETSEQ_SET you have this coding:
    * Assumption: No worklist entry if change of margin is less than 5%
    * Caution: There might be prices that are zero, so exclude that case
if ( not pi_i_kalp-endpa is initial ) and
*--- Only external vendor or internal vendor with sales price (in case
*--- of a two step calculation purchase price can be zero, the
*--- following check does not make sense then)
         ( ( pi_i_kalp-bewrk is initial ) or
( not pi_i_kalp-bewrk is initial and
             not pi_i_kalp-ekpnn is initial ) ).
*-- Determine margin with curr. sales price and new net/net purch price
        workfield = ( pi_i_kalp-endpa - pi_i_kalp-ekpnn ) * proz100
                    / pi_i_kalp-endpa.
*-- Relation of new and old margin ------------------------------------*
        margin_relation = ( workfield / pi_i_wkbp_copy-spabr ) * proz100.
*-- Absolut change in margin ------------------------------------------*
        margin_change = margin_relation - proz100.
        margin_change = abs( margin_change ).
*-- Margin change lower than a certain limit -> Exclude worklist entry *
        if margin_change lt margin_change_max.
          pe_exclude_calc_item = 'X'.
*---- Create message in log -------------------------------------------*
          clear i_log.
          move-corresponding pi_i_kalp to i_log.
          i_log-msgid = 'WV'.
          i_log-msgty = 'I'.
          i_log-msgno = '852'.
          i_log-msgv1 = margin_change.
          i_log-msgv2 = margin_change_max.
          append i_log to pe_t_erro.
          exit.
endif.       " Change lower than a predefined maximum limit
      endif.         " PI_I_CALP-ENDPA not zero
    I hope this helps you
