We can go for asynchrounous updates in call transaction , whenever there is no dependency for the statements to follow.
For example, if you are doing a BDC to create a sales order and then another BDC to Change the same sales order, you cannot use Asynch update. The reason for this is the Sales Order Creation itself is not yet complete by the time you try to change it.
For all other scenarios, where there is no dependencies, you can go for Async updates, which is faster for obvious reasons.

could you try to use dynamic set or create statics set but with fixed member for example:

, DISPLAY_FOLDER = 'Relative Period Sets';
Personally, I think your set is dynamic set, because the currentmember is changed base on current selection. You can also submit this issue

Here is the difference between the Session and Call Transaction method.
Session
Session method supports both small amount of data aswell as large amount of data
2) data processing is asynchronus and data updation is synchronus.
3) it process multiple apllication while perfomaning validations.
4) in session method data will be updated in data base only after processing session only.
5) system provide by default logfile for handling error records.
6) it supports both foreground aswell as background process
in bdc we use FM ... bdc_open_group " for creating Session
bdc_insert " adding transaction and bdcdata table for updating database
bdc_close_group " for closing Session
Call Transaction
Call transaction exclusively for small amout of data
2) it supports only one apllication while perfoming validations
3) there is no default logfile, We can explicitly provide logic for creating logfile for handling error records.
we can create logfile by using structure....BDCMSGCOLL
4) it doesn't support background processing.
5) data processing is synchronous and Data updation is Synchronous( default), in
this method also supports daya updation in asynchronus process also.

How to handle the call transaction in method of a custom business object

There is a custom report " RPTCORAPP" for approving leaves . As per my requirement i have develop a copy of leave workflow and for approval process i have call "RPTCORAPP" in Custom method of custom object. i have made a transaction for this custom report for approving attendances. I am calling this method though call transaction statement within method.
Problem: while approving the attendance workitem is not disappearing from the portal. Problem is due to call transaction statement.
               once workitem come to the user, user click on it. control goes to the report, which display all the leave to approve on
               the portal.
               If after approving/ rejecting attendance user close the screen.workflow remain in the "process" status.Control wont come back after call transaction statement in the method.
             At the same time if user clicks on back button inspite of closing the screen. it is working fine. workitem disappears from the portal.
How to handle the scenarion. if after approving/rejecting, i want the control to come back to the NEXT STATEMENT after call transactionstatement in my method.
Please help it out........:)

Requirement
After calling the transaction, If the user changes the Item delivery date (EINDT) at the ME22 transaction screen, the new date needs to be reflected in the ALV grid.
Plz help it is very urgent.

The first method (using selfield-refresh = 'X'.) didn't work as the internal table doesnt get modified when the user make changes in Item delivery date(EINDT) at ME22 transaction screen. The 2nd method is OO,which can't be used in my case.
I tried calling the subroutine for populating the itab (G_T_PORD) and the subroutine for displaying the alv grid immediately after calling ME22N transaction. Still it is not reflecting the new date in the output alv. The code is given below.

Deallocate unused space clause is used to to explicitly deallocate unused space at "the end" of a segment and makes that space available for other segments within the tablespace. Internally, Oracle deallocates unused space beginning from the end of the objects (allocated space) and moving downwards toward the beginning of the object, continuing down until it reaches the high water mark (HWM).
Datafile resize add/substracts physical operating system bytes from the datafile .

Pooled Tables, Table Pools, Cluster Tables, and Table Clusters
These types of tables are not transparent in the sense that they are not legible or manageable directly using the underlying database system tools. They are managed from within the R/3 environment from the ABAP dictionary and also at runtime when they are loaded into application memory.Pool and cluster tables are logical tables. Physically, these logical tables are arranged as records of transparent tables. The pool and cluster tables are grouped together in other tables, which are of the transparent type. The tables that group together pool tables are known as table pools, or just pools; similarly, table clusters, or just
clusters, are the tables which group cluster tables.Not all operations that can be performed over transparent tables can be executed over pool or cluster tables.
For instance, you can manage these tables using Open SQL calls from ABAP, but not Native SQL.These tables are meant to be buffered and loaded in memory, because they are commonly used for storing internal control information and other types of data with no external (business) relevance. SAP recommends that tables of pool or cluster type be used exclusively for control information such as

The dictionary includes many functions for working with tables. There are five basic operations you can perform on tables: display, create, delete, modify, copy. Please do not confuse displaying a table with displaying the table entries (table contents). Standard table:
The key access to a standard table uses a sequential search. The time required for an access is linearly dependent on the number of entries in the internal table.
You should usually access a standard table with index operations.
Sorted table:
The table is always stored internally sorted by its key. Key access to a sorted table can therefore use a binary search. If the key is not unique, the entry with the lowest index is accessed. The time required for an access is logarithmically dependent on the number of entries in the internal table.
Index accesses to sorted tables are also allowed. You should usually access a sorted table using its key.
Hash table:
The table is internally managed with a hash procedure. All the entries must have a unique key. The time required for a key access is constant, that is it does not depend on the number of entries in the internal table.
You cannot access a hash table with an index. Accesses must use generic key operations (SORT, LOOP, etc.).
Index table:
The table can be a standard table or a sorted table.
Index access is allowed to such an index table. Index tables can be used to define the type of generic parameters of a FORM (subroutine) or a function module.

How do I use the same SubVIs in the different VIs? Those VIs have to run at the same time.

If I have two VIs.And both of them has the same SubVIs.
For example
VI1 contains:
SubVI1: Initialize Instrument
Data acquisition
SubVI2: Close Instrument
VI2 contains:
SubVI1
Monitoring the Board and VI1
SubVI2
When I run those two VIs at the same time, why can't I use SubVI2(which is in the VI1) to close the Instrument?
The function has been run correctly, but it didn't work. The VI1 did closed, but the instrument didn't closed, neither did data acquisition.
In order to close instrument, I have to run SubVI2(which is in the VI2).
What I want to do is that when I run SubVI2(which is in the VI1), then, the instrument closed and data acquisition stopped.
Is there any problem between the thread? Or anything wrong with SubVI's VI property?

That makes me think about the number of doing init & close. My project calls on that there must be a strict requirements about the number of calling those function in one process.
That is to say,when running them, if VI1 and VI2 are in different process but not in the same one, the program is going to run successfully. But now, VI1 and VI2 are threads which in the same process, so my project's strict requirements makes them run failue.I used SPY++ to analysis, and found those two threads are actually in one process.

They are very, very different beasts.
Firstly FAST Search for SharePoint is the old name for the product and is only relevant for SharePoint 2010 not 2013. It got merged into the standard SharePoint search for the 2013 release.
SharePoint search is aimed at providing a Bing or Google like experience for your intranet content, as well as providing some nifty features that are purely SharePoint releated along the way. That means it can crawl SharePoint content, file shares,
outlook mailboxes, internal and external websites and probably fifty other different things if you really tried. Whilst i'm not an expert on SQL full text search I believe it's intended to provide a search feature for content held within SQL databases
and tables.
Can you run SharePoint purely for Search? Yes, definitely.

Websites such as MSNBC, MSN, Most visited, that entire strip is no longer visible. I tired resetting Firefox and still nothing. Can anyone tell me how to get them to appear again? It's a hassle every time that I want to go to one of those sites I have to type it in the search bar, instead of just clicking on it as I did before. On Windows XP Firefox shows the menu bar by default and not the orange Firefox menu button that is shown when the menu bar is hidden. 
The menu bar is the toolbar at the top that shows menu items like File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help. 
You can press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily in case this bar is hidden (View > Toolbars or Firefox > Options).

I am doing a project. I have finished my jave source files and compiled them successfully. And I also wrote a main method to test my classes, they also worked well. Now I am trying to use my jave code in the jsp files. But I meet a problem, in my method of java source file, I can generate a object of a class, and use it in the whole main method. But in the different jsp files, how can I do same thing?
For example, in the .java file,
Vector vl = new Vector();
While ...{
vl.add(...)
In each of my .jsp file I want to do one loop of the above, meanwhile I want to do that in the same object.
I hope you can understand what I mean. Really need your help!

put your object into a session and you can the use it in all the jsps as long as the session is valid. Or you could create a static variable in the class that only creates one instance off an object and then create a static method to return this object.

Text in accordionwidget 'wobbles' in the different states

Staggered text. I cannot seem to keep the text in textboxes in place in the different states. What do I do wrong? I work with a Wacon tablet pen. Do I translocate textboxes in different states little bits unnoticed? To keep the text in place I try to fix it with padding, but that is an timeconsuming hopeless effort. So I start all over again with a fresh accordionwidget, but it keeps on happening. Should I not copy&paste text perhaps, does it have to do with styles used?

How can I move all my bookmarks from different Firefox profiles (would like to move whole bookmark folders at once if possible) into one area to organize them and then place them into the different Firefox profiles? Just a note about the difference between these two things:
* "export" and "import" use an ancient HTML document format that all browsers can understand. When you import bookmarks, Firefox may place them into an Imported Bookmarks folder, or into Unsorted Bookmarks. This does not displace existing bookmarks, and Firefox does not automatically remove duplicates.
* "backup" and "restore" use a more comprehensive JSON data file, which contains extra information about your bookmarks (such as tags) not contained in the traditional export file.
