Webex APP from BB.World throws all users out of running Webex

Hi folks,
Until recently, I could log into Webex calls and enjoy telephone and screen conferences using the BB Webex app.
Received an OS update due to the Outlook issue ( KB35813 )
I am now running a Z30 (OS 10.2.1.2941 / 10.2.1.3175 ) and the Webex App (3.5.0.443 )
Yesterday I joined a running conf call using the app and upon joining
ALL people were dropped from the call.
Subsequent tests with colleagues confirmed this behaviour !
Whenever I use the App to join a call - the call is immediately closed.
Any suggestions or tips where I can get the developers to check this out ?

  • Airplay ceases to stream iPod app from iPhone4 to ATV2, all else works

    So, I have been running the new ATV since it came out, streaming without any issues from the get-go, all streamable / Airplay content, from my iPhone4. All apps / software is UTD on all devices.
    After updating to the new Apple remote app, I can no longer stream the audio from the iPod app. The airplay button is there, it turns blue, but nothing comes through the ATV. This also applies to Pandora.
    All the other apps (Youtube, pictures, Macbook etc) are completely fine via Airplay, ie this seems to be isolated to Ipod app / Pandora ie audio only.
    Help!

    Same here. See below. I think we need to send a trouble ticket to apple:
    Have Apple TV, Macbook, iPad and iPhone. All updated to the latest OS versions.
    Movies (including youtube) streams fine from iPad or iPhone to Apple TV using Airplay.
    But music alone won't. So if I play a song on iPod or Pandora, I get the Airplay icon, I select Apple TV, but no audio comes out of the apple tv. It thinks it is streaming, but it isn't. But movies (with the corresponding audio) streams to Apple TV fine.
    On the other hand, music from my macbook goes to Apple TV fine.
    It is just streaming music from iPad and iPhone that doesn't work.
    Note, my problem is not that I don't get the Airplay icon-- I do. It just thinks that it is streaming and nothing is happening.
    I've rebooted Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. No success.
    Anyone else seeing this? Any thoughts?

  • BP Choose From List became Blank, All users affected

    Dear all:
    I hope anyone had the similar problem before.  Our BP list became blank and B1 has to be restarted from frozen state whenever any users select this function. All users are affected.
    What can be the root cause of this?

    Dear Gordon,
    Please check the following :
    1 ) whether there are lots of records for the Business Partners?
    2) Whether in the form Settings some Grouping is being done which needs time to display.
    Chances are for the second option. If you check by restore defaults for the Form Settings in Choose from List, it may work.

  • Block all websites apart from the homepage for all users. Citrix environment with Server 2003.

    Citrix Xenapp 5 and Windows server 2003 environment. We want to force Firefox to kiosk mode with a pre-set homepage for all users. I also want to lock this to only one website. I have managed to set up the kiosk mode with R-Kiosk addon and Mozilla.cfg file. I am trying to use BlockSites to block all internet sites and only allow the one site with the whitelist option. I can get the addon to install for all users, but can’t get the default settings across. I have tried to add this with the Mozilla.cfg file, but it looks like this addon is getting it’s settings from the profile folder. If I set the preferences for the addon in Mozilla,cfg file, it actually picks it up but it doesn’t apply it to the addon for some reason. Does anyone have any other ideas on how I can lock this down to the one site?

    I'm not sure about the apps, but to prevent theft, you'll also need to disable the power button and the ability to restore the ipad. You might also want to superglue in your Sim card because if they remove that, it wont be tracked unless they connect to WiFi.
    Also, I'm not so sure it is an app on the iPad. I think it is built into the mail, calendar and contacts options if you have a Mobile me account.  http://www.apple.com/ipad/find-my-ipad-setup/

  • How to sign all users out of my account?!

    So I logged in to a freinds PS4 recently with my account and now I don't want them to access my PSN account anymore as it logs me out of my PS4 when they go onto my account and it's annoying me. I've tried changing my password and that didn't help as they could still login which makes no sense what so ever as I thought they would need the password to login! (which I changed)Any suggestions Plz!?

    What we do is have a shell script wrapped around the maxl. In the step before the drop we loop a shutdown app and test the log file for errors (if the app can not shutdown because the user is still doing something it will error). If an error is read it will wait for 30 seconds and attempt to shut the app down again. and so on until the app is down. Start the app up again and then drop the partition.

  • Mavericks upgrade from Mountain Lion deletes all user accounts

    This is a lesson for upgrading too early (and too eagerly).
    Today I tried the Mavericks upgrade from Mountain Lion on my 2007 Macbook Pro, after going through all the pre-installation/pre-upgrade checklists.
    I don't think I have gone from a very high to a down low in such a short space of time.  I really wanted to move on from Mountain Lion and when the installer finished the upgrade to Mavericks and re-started my MBP, I was super excited.  When the restart completed and I was presented with the login prompt, I tried entering my user name and password.  First time, it shaked on the password... OK, you'd think that is a typo.  Re-entering the password... same thing.
    You can imagine what ensued.  After entering my password v-e-r-y slowly many times, I started realising that something went very VERY wrong.
    Just for information, I used two different user accounts on my MBP under Mountain Lion.  The one account had administrative priviledges and was only used for installing applications and a few other administrative tasks.  Then I have a second personal account, which does not have administrative priviledges and is the account I use daily for Mail, Safari, iTunes, programming etc.
    None of those accounts worked under Mountain Lion.  Basically, there is no way in.
    I then proceeded to boot with the startup option Cmd + S (command-line access).  Once that was completed, I was in as root and checked the /etc/passwd.  None of the user accounts were there.  I was only able to find two user accounts: root and nobody; and a long list of user account that started with an underscore (I think these are some sort of esoteric user accounts).  So, it appears that the Mavericks upgrade did not accurately bring over the user account information from my Mountail Lion installation.
    Then, I went into the /Users directory and there I could see the home directories for all the users as they were defined under Mountain Lion.  The contents were intact too.
    It seems to me that the Mavericks upgrade from my Mountain Lion forgot to bring over the user accounts but it did preserve the contents of all the users' home directories.
    Unless anyone can spot some sort of user error here (please let me know), I am heading back to Mountain Lion pretty swiftly.  Otherwise, I suspect there is a bug in the Mavericks installer.
    Any assistance is appreciated.

    The reason this occurred is a mystery and has not been commonly reported. Consider the following. It may or may not help. You should probably print these instructions before proceeding.
    Boot Single User mode again and do the following:
    (You can skip the first step. It will check your boot volume for errors and correct what it can. If there were errors the installer should not have proceeded, but the possibility exists that directory corruption may have occurred during installation. That seems unlikely to me but could explain what went wrong.)
    In Single User Mode:
    At the :/ root# prompt, type fsck -fy and press Return or Enter. It will take a few moments to complete. If you are concerned that nothing is happening just press the Return key until you see the :/ root# prompt again.
    Once the disk check is complete and the prompt returns, type mount -uw / and press Return / Enter.
    Type launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.opendirectoryd.plist and press Enter. If you get an error message you may ignore it.
    Type ls /Users and press Enter. All of the usernames on the computer will be listed, which is helpful if you don’t know or remember what these are.
    Type dscl . passwd /Users/username password while replacing username with one of the users displayed in the previous step and replacing password with the new password of your choice. Press Enter. You will likely get an error message about a file or directory not being found. You may ignore this.
    Type reboot and press Enter.

    My requirement is to remove the expand/collapse icons from the overview page for all the user but administrator can have those available.
    I have set the show tray property to NO , this has made the complete tray invisible for all including the administartor as well.
    I want the only icons to be inviisble and not for administrator.

    The best practice in Portal is to create 2 different design, one for users, one for administrators. I mean design : Desktop, Framework Page, Theme ...and so on.
    This allows you to manage two ways of displaying or not informations, for sure user view should be different of administrator view.
    And you also in your case you should have tow different "overview" iViews, one for users one for administrators.
    The "show tray" property should be yes (otherwise you won't see anyting ), but the property "Show Expand/Collapse icon in tray" to NO.

    I know you can drag an item to the trash can but i have heard there are files left on the computer that don't get deleted.  So how do i get rid of them?

    If the app has an uninstall routine use that. If it doesn't you can use a utility such as AppCleaner. BTW if you have come from the MS Windows world uninstalling apps Macs is really simply just drag them to the trash. Any files left behind will not affect the performance of the system and are normally so small (KB's) that they can be ignored. Tools like AppCleaner are not totally necessary to be honest, they're there to just make us feel better.

    Unfortunately software always moves faster than hardware.
    Apple's not going to change things. You can try talking to those two app developers and have them make their older versions available.

    You could restore the Touch, which might get things going again. You shouldn't need to upgrade.
    Check that your settings in iTunes haven't changed (that you're syncing all calendars etc.). When I upgraded to iTunes 9, some settings seem to have changed.
