Weblogic failed @ startup

How r u doing folks,
I am using WL5.1 with JRE1.3 in Eclipse for my application. I have to start weblogic from a java file and for that I am using:
weblogic.t3.srvr.T3Srvr.main(args1, args2, args3)
But I am getting an error while running as a java application from eclipse as below:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com/beasys/CORBA/pool/weblogic/PoolStartUpProp
at weblogic.t3.srvr.T3Srvr.configure(T3Srvr.java:815)
at weblogic.t3.srvr.T3Srvr.main(T3Srvr.java:872)
Exception in thread "main"
Any ideas? ?:|

  • OBI EE 11.1.1.7.0 configuration issues (fail at Weblogic domain startup)

    Hi,
I am installing OBI EE 11.1.1.7.0 on Windows 7 64-bit. Followed below steps:-
    1. Install WLS 10.3.6 - Success
    2. Create RCU for OBI - Success
    3. Install OBI with "Software only Install" - Success
    4. Run "config.bat" to configure OBI - Fail
The configuration fails at Step-1 , when setting domain for WLS. Would appreciate if someone can help me out here.
Below is the content in log file from where it started to fail - *"install2013-05-31_11-44-29PM.log"*

  • How to specify the webLogic server startup script to use different config.xml  file ??

    Hi,
I have 2 weblogic startup scripts (startWebLogic.sh and
    startWebLogic_recovery.sh) for the same domain.
    startWebLogic.sh uses config.xml file.
I would like to use config_recovery.xml as the configuration file for startWebLogic_recovery.sh
How would I do this ?
    I am using WebLogic Server 6.1 on SunOS 5.8 / HP-UX 11.0.
    Appreciate any help.
    Regards
    Gunaseelan Venkateswaran

I guess you're using Weblogic 6.1 with WLCS 3.5. I think you're supposed to work with one config.xml for the same domain, and not have a different config.xml.
To start up different applications or EJBs, use the "target" property to control which applications to start up for the particular instance.

  • OIM 9.0.1.1 on Weblogic Failing

My installation is failing and I cannot seem to get to the bottom of it. Any pointers / help here is appreciated.
XIMDD does not report any problem prior to running the installation. The database operations all seem to occur successfully, but there are problems deploying to WebLogic. The myserver.log content and the Java VM System Properties Report from the XIMDD is included. The environment is:

    Ryan,
I'm starting to set up the same environment as you. The purpose is to learn as I'm a newbie to IdM. What are all the components I will need to install? From the tutorials/docs on this site I was able to conclude:
    Oracle DB
App Server - tutorial uses JBoss...I'd rather use WebLogic to learn it as well
    Oracle Identity Manager
Does sequence matter? Unfortunately, the tutorials aren't as detailed as, for example, Microsoft's Walkthroughs for MIIS 2003.
Thanks and sorry to bug you with newbie questions.

The database details and URL are correct and i am able to test the connection and the DB is up and running.
    Sol2:
I dropped RCU and created again but it didnt resolve the issue.
    Sol3:
I have renamed the folders tmp, cache and data folders to in the below location
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\SOA_domain\servers\AdminServer
After starting the weblogic server, these folders are created again but problem is not solved.

    Hi Swati,
    When you see this error
    Cause: weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceDeadException: 0:weblogic.common.Res
ourceException: Could not create pool connection. The DBMS driver exception was:
IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Action: Check the stack trace for more details.
That means Datasource Connection Pool is failing to create a pool either due to DB is down or no connection made by Pool resource.
Try to tune the Datasource with following parameter will help you.
    1. Eanble Test connection on reseve
    2. Connection creation retry frequency second set as 10 these two parameter make reconnect back to you DB and Pool start executing correctly.
After enable still have problem please provide complete stack.

  • JAAS authenticate from weblogic fails

I'm trying to use JAAS to authenticate a login from a webapp in weblogic, and by
using the t3 address of another weblogic server (the portal).
    The result is :
LoginException: no LoginModule configured for WokupPortal
    (translated from french)
"WokupPortal" is the name I'm using in a file jaas.conf declare both in -Djava.security.auth.login.config
and in java.security and using the weblogic.security.auth.login.UsernamePasswordLoginModule.
So, I really don't know why it fails since the same code from a simple Java client
    works (with weblogic.jar).

    Hi,
    Thanks for the links.
I followed the blog and configured it using oracle/wss_username_token_service_policy.
Now my requirement is to send the username, password from proxy to business and to the BPEL. (the bpel needs this username /password & and in header)
The issue I am facing is the proxy service is not sending the soap header details to business service.
I dont want to make the proxy as passthrough. (ie set Process WS-Security Header to NO)
I have to authorize on proxy level and then send the same credential details to business service?
So the question is, how can I retrieve the header after osb process it?
Can anyone please help me here?
    Thanks
    Ganesh

  • OIM Domain on Weblogic Failed to Start

I was able to install WebLogic, Oracle Database and OIM.
Before installing OIM, I was able to start the domain I created on WebLogic at:
Start -> All Programs -> Oracle WebLogic -> User Projects -> oim_domain -> Start Admin Server for Weblogic Server Domain
where oim_domain is the name of the domain I have created.
However after I finished installing OIM, the same domain failed to start.
There is a security service runtime exception and the wls does not start

In addition if any one has detailed steps to do oim on weblogic server install successfully beyond just the oracle docs that would be great, thanks

start weblogic admin console with script xlStartWLS.bat which is created in directory "bea_home\user_projects\domains\oim_domain\bin"
That should start your weblogic admin console correctly.

An error occurred while initializing the Embedded LDAP Server. The exception thrown is java.lang.ClassCastException: com.octetstring.vde.backend.BackendRoot cannot be cast to com.octetstring.vde.backend.standard.BackendStandard. This may indicate a problem with the data files for the Embedded LDAP Server. If the problem is with the data files and it can not be corrected, backups of previous versions of the data files exist in /orcl/oracleBI/user_projects/domains/bifoundation_domain/servers/AdminServer/data/ldap/backup.Looks like LDAP issue...do you have any external authentication setup ?? You can think investigation issue in that direction..Check the complete error code.

  • Problem with OEPE Weblogic Server Startup

I am trying to start a WebLogic 9.2.x server in Eclipse without much success.
I have the very latest version of the OEPE Plugin for Eclipse.
When I attempt to start my WebLogic Server from within Eclipse, I get an error (without a stack trace) that says "Start script cannot be found".
I'm not sure exactly which start script it is talking about, but I believe I have the correct ones in my server domains bin directory, specifically, startWebLogicEx.cmd and startWebLogic.cmd.
Could this be a pathing issue within Eclipse that it cannot locate my domains bin directory?

Is there any way to specify directly to look in the bin/ subdirectory? I've modified the run configuration to use the startWeblogic.cmd in the bin/ location, but it still fails.
    Thoughts?

  • OSB Server fails startup port in use

    Hi fellow Oracle members,
I am trying to install Oracle Service Bus on Weblogic Application Server 11G (10.3.3.0). I first created the weblogic domain then later extended it to also include the OSB functionality. After extending the domain I changed the nodemanager.properties using the setNMProps.sh file then restarted the nodemanager.
The osb_server1 is created succesfully in the WL domain however I can not start it up due to the following exception in the servers osb_server1.out file:
    <content osb_server1.out>

ERROR: transport error 202: bind failed: Address already in use
    <end content osb_server1.out>
I checked several forum threads for this exception and learned from them that the normal cause is the double usage of the Debug port 8453. I changed this port both in the setDomainEnv.sh file as well as in the nit-info/startscript.xml and the init-info/startscript-unsub.xml. Stopped all the weblogic components (nodemanager and AdminServer) then restarted everything again. This solution unfortunately does not work as the above exception keeps appearing even when different ports are used.
Has anyone seen the JDWP Transport dt_socket exception when they installed the osb functionality and knows how to solve this?
    Thank you in advance,
    Rene

What is your point of view about what the cause could be of this exception? I used the supplied JVM that came with the Oracle Fusion Middleware Weblogic Application Server so my expectation is that the JDK version is not the cause of this exception. It looks to me to be something in the configuration?
