Hello,
Please take a look at this related thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5661340#5661340
In addition to what has been said already in the post above, with the release of Muse 7, you now have the capability to make full screen slideshows with just a drag and drop, in addition to the capability of having full screen images filled inside a rectangle, which was available earlier as well. You can now, also have full width text boxes etc. which may also be useful.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Parikshit

  • CSS Problems: Extra "margin-left: 8px" being added to bold face command.

I'm having a unique and frustrating problem with a RoboHelp project.
When I apply Bold face to text in a numbered or bulleted text, RoboHelp applies the following code: <span style="margin-left: 8px; font-weight: bold;">
I cannot understand why the style="margin-left: 8px clause is inserted into the code.  It's causing a large amount of white space before and after every bolded item, and fixing it manually is not a great option for various reasons.
When I apply Bold face to text outside of lists, the style="margin-left: 8px clause is not inserted.
When I click the Bold button (or press Ctrl+B) on selected text, I'd like RoboHelp to add the minimal code necssary: <span style="font-weight: bold;">
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Notes: I inhertied this project with multiple style sheets, including old .kadov styles and at least seven CSS files. I condensed this down to one CSS file and tried to clean up the file as much as possible. I'm using RoboHelp 8.0.2.

  • Very new to using flash in websites: browser display issue

I am very new to flash ads and we are on a new platform after a website redesign.  I'm having trouble with flash display settings I'm guessing since the ad displays fine in IE, but not fine in Firefox and Chrome.  Images to follow (for the curious it is a YWCA ad):
Here you see overlap on the current version of Firefox.
This ad has wings! Current version of Chrome.
This is IE. What? IE is right and the other browsers aren't? What gives!?
Additional details:  The position is a plugin position for Wordpress.  The ad is being placed via Ad-minister with the following code:
    <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0">
    <param name="quality" value="high" />
    <param name="wmode" value="opaque">
    <param name="movie" value="http://www.vbjusa.com/wp-content/uploads/110107_ywcc1.swf" /><embed pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" quality="high" src="http://www.vbjusa.com/wp-content/uploads/110107_ywcc1.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed></object>
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

test with the html published by flash.  if no problems, the issue is the embedding code.

  • Z10 Website or Browser Issue

    Hi,
I am looking for help relating to an issue I have when accessing a particular website and I am unsure if the issue is related to the website, The Browser on the Z10 or the Z10 itself... I shall try to explain.
I am a photographer and use the Z10 as with several previous Blackberry's to check my emails and also check things out online on various model/photographer websites. Most of these sites have worksafe or image filters so that any photographic images with 18+ or adult content can be blocked if the screen is in public view for instance...  It is a user determined filter which can be turned on and off at will.  On two of te three sites I use i have no problem enabling the filter f required and disabling it again when I want t view all content however on one of the sites called 'PurplePort' I am unable to operate the filter either way and as it defaults to onI can't see much of the image content on the site.
I contacted my carrier (EE) about the problem and although they spent a while on the line with me trying various things the problem could not be solved and they stated it was either a phone setting issue or an issue with the site.
I contacted the site and their support staff stated they use modern web standards and that most mobile devices do not adhere to those standards and that blackberry is opne of the worst offenders... but without having a Z10 to test the problem all they recommended is to try usng a different browser on the device.
Does anyone have any any answers or constructive ideas re this problem and is it possible to use other browsers with the Z10 if so which and are they available in the app store?
    Regards and thanks in advance
    Evna
Remember the days when the phone was attached to a wire in the house or housed in a red box at the end of the street... and when you were out, you were out and no one knew where you were or when you'd be back... Those days were Bliss!!

perhaps someone with www.purpleport.com can assist in making their site more mobile friendly?

  • Go daddy website builders ipad issues

Does anyone know about the display problems on the ipad for Go Daddys website builder version 7 ??
The support line tell me that its an issue with Apple rather than at their end.
The site I have built displays fine on a desktop and am HP tablet.  On the ipad it includes a large white column on the right hand side of the page. Basically cutting the end off of the background picture ??
Has anyone had this problem ??

Making a website and using a Mac vs Windows should not make any difference.  I've heard good and bad stories about Godaddy hosting.  I use them for a registrar but wouldn't touch them for hosting personally.  The only thing to recognize with Mac development is that you probably want the PHP/mySQL option and not the .NET option since you would need to run a VM to program for .NET on a Mac.

  • Ios 5 update website email account issues

I upgraded to iOS 5 to end up having my website email accounts affected.  Each account can recieve email.  None can send email.  I have already reset.  I have already deleted to reset.
The issue seems to be that the accounts now demand an active WIFI connection to go though that wifi's server.  It no longer tries to go through AT&T's server nor will check for that server after determinining there is no wifi connection.
My yahoo account was not affected.  I can surf the internet.
Are there some settings that have changed?  Has anyone else had these issues?
    Thanks,

I believe this is because of a security update described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4999 :
"Impact: Support for X.509 certificates with MD5 hashes may expose users to spoofing and information disclosure as attacks improve"
"Description: Certificates signed using the MD5 hash algorithm were accepted by iOS. This algorithm has known cryptographic weaknesses. Further research or a misconfigured certificate authority could have allowed the creation of X.509 certificates with attacker controlled values that would have been trusted by the system. This would have exposed X.509 based protocols to spoofing, man in the middle attacks, and information disclosure. This update disables support for an X.509 certificate with an MD5 hash for any use other than as a trusted root certificate."
The SSL cert used by Rackspace at secure.emailsrvr.com uses MD5 signatures, which are no longer trusted in iOS 5.  Rackspace would likely have to update their cert.

  • Mobile Website Aligning Left (Cut off)

How do I fix my website which is aligning left and cutting off in the "mobile version"? I've tried some of the suggestions made by the community, there is no empty boxes hanging around in any layers, however the content does go past the page width as I'd like those boxes to scale full screen. If I should be doing it another way any ideas?

  • Crazy page turn margin - image issue!

    Hello everybody!
I am experiencing a really strange - funny issue. (Although it should not be funny since there is a dead-line for this project )
When I add an image to a particular page this page's tap-to-turn-page-margin gets wider.
Now I am trying to identify this potential bug by resizing the image / changing settings on this widget.
Any suggestions? Maybe its something obvious to you and not to me...
    Thanks,
    fotinos

Maybe, but if the software was consistent then I would not need to compromise. Now l have to find a way to make these pages beautiful again.
Thanks for the interest - really appreciated!

  • MRP & schedule margin key issue

    Hi All,
My client is running MRP on daily basis they have maintained schedule margin key 001 with opening period as 0010.but while running MRP & MD04 they
    found below are the issues.
We have tested many times using SMK as 000 & 0010 but every time system displayed below errors.
Some times they are not getting the purchase requisition created in time (System should drop the purchase Requisitions according to parameters maintained in material master).
Some time system creates planned order instead of Purchase Requisition (Their requirement is to create purchase requisition always)
They get the exception message past due planned order
As per my understanding there will be problem in buffer period. How can we avoid these exception messages & how can we create always PR instead of pl order.
I will appericate if anybody suggest me how can we rectify above mentioned causes.
    Thanks,
    Ravindra.

    Hi Caetano /Ram
Thank you for replies.I have following doubts on your reply
I understood if I create Variant including only PR system will display always PR in MD04.
1.If I run MRP using option 2 PR in opening period in this case system behave like same or do I need to include this parameter in variant
2.How can I avoid exception message"Past open due" for Ex :- 10,20,30 etc... permentaly in MRP run?
I have not tested solution yet I hope if I create MRP group & during background MRP run if I create variant with parameter 1 (PR only) it will create PR.
Can you pls assist on SMK? For your clarification check below is my actual scenario
if I assigned SMK with 000 (All periods like opening period,FAP,FBP & release period is 000) then what happen in MRP run if I made your suggested setting is system means it will always create  PR.
    If I assigned SMK with 001(opening period 0010,FBP 5,FAP 2 ,release period =5) also
    if I maintained GR time= 2 days,
Pl.delivery time =10 days  in this case will above setting  work? if i run MPR using opening Period as well as PR only.
Kindly correct me if i am wrong.
    Thanks,
    Ravindra

  • Dept of Worforce Website and Safari issues

I was using the website, most everything works, but I get this on hyperlinks:
    Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found: /CSSWebHelp/CSS_Field_Level_Help/CSS_401K_MonthlyDistribution.htm>>cap=Field Level Help>>pan=1
    any ideas?

No, 404 errors happen all the time, usually with the redesign of a web site, pages that were previously there are taken out or given a new home and people might still have the old page bookmarked, or the site designers didn't update the site navigation to redirect requests for the old page to the new one. It's definitely not a Safari issue; you'd get the same result with Firefox or any other browser.

  • Website Updates DNS issues

My company had someone add a word press section to their website.
Externally I can ping the domain name without WWW, but internally I can only ping it with WWW in front.
The IP address of the site has stayed the same, but I believe the developer has set it up to only be accessible without the www in front of it.
What do I add in terms of DNS records to make the domain name ( domain.com) pingable
( again www.domain.com is pingable, domain.com is not)

    Hello,
in your domain DNS zone you could create an A record named "www" without quotes and point it to the ip address of the web server.
