hahaha what you're doing is taking a photo of your device screen..That's not actually a problem, That's Normal..
here's what you should do.
Try pressing the restart/off button only, wait for seconds until the "Slide to Power Off" appears. Do no press the home button. After you turned off your device, try pressing once the Power button again to turn your device On. -

- Reset all settings

i did a factory reset on my ipod touch but now when i try turning it on it just goes to the apple screen with a loading sign, ive let my battery die and tried reconnecting but it still wont work. it doesnt even come up on itunes.
Why won't it let you sync? What happens when you try to sync it? Any error messages from iTunes? How is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library? In other words, what options do you have selected from under the iPod's Music tab in iTunes? To access this tab, plug your iPod in, select it under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes, and over to the right locate and select the Music tab along the top.
Or are you trying to manually manage your iPod's contents? In other words, is the Manually manage music and videos option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab?

You must initiallly activate iCloud from an IOS device or a Mac. You cannot inititally activated from a PC.

ThanksNo body knows about the next gen of any Apple products, other than they always advance. There are still many much older products in successful use so that should not be a problem. My iPad original cannot use iOS 6.1.3 but it still does what I want and works great.
If you have the 4th gen, use it aa long as it meets your needs. If it doesn't look at the options for a new one at that time. -

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
