What happened to my N82's screen?
I recently replaced the screen on my N82, I bought an official Nokia OEM screen, and now a few months later the top 1/3 of my screen has problems. Like fine black lines across the top of the screen. I can still read the screen but it is a bit difficult sometimes. I put the phone in a case all of the time and I don't know why
@ blacklash and what do you think a LCD display is, a software issue, it's considered a part of the hardware since it is the phone's physical aspect and not software.

Sony Vaio Windows XP ProThese defects on the screen are clearly on the inside of the housing on the LCD itself. What makes me wonder are the diagonal lines that are so symmetrical.
I'm assuming it could be three things that could have caused this, because it wasn't like this a week ago:
1. I did buff it using Brasso (not the first time)
2. Manufactures Defect
3. I took it to the beach, no where near the water though, just set it on a table between two chairs
I always keep it in its sleeve when I'm not using it. I'm a perfectionist and this is driving me nuts!

What happens after 3 failings?
hello...
i have white-spot for the third time now. my powerbook is currently at apple repair center. i still have apple-care on it. what happens if i get whitespot again? i guess it will happen again cause all repairs failed jet. i am gonna have the fourth display after that repair and i guess it will fail as the other ones.
my apple-dealer told me, apple will offer me a new book after 3 failed repairapproaches.
did anybody have this situation and what kind of machine will i get? the same as i bought or a new, actual one?

sepoeI'm also interested in this answer. My daughter's PB has had the deadly grey screen for the third time! AppleCare said "it's no problem because it's less than a year old" (what kind of answer is that!!). What happens the next time her screen goes grey? Do they replace the PB, extend her warranty, or whatever????

Help! I just installed the latest update on my IPhone 4 and now I can't access my podcasts. When I hit the podcast I on, the screen goes blank for a second and then opens to the home screen with all my icons. What happened?
Try a reset which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously you see the Apple logo and then release.

I installed the latest update to my phone. Half way through it asked to connect to itunes. After updateing it had some type of error and wanted me to restore the phone. After restoring, another error box popped up and said that it could not be restored. Now it won't connect to itunes or my computer at all and is nothing but the black start up screen with the apple logo, or it's just a white screen. What happened?
DFU mode? How do I do that? So far the only thing I can do is hold down both buttons to power it on and nothing is on the screen and it wont reconize on my computer....

My iPod was working just fine, and then when I went on YouTube, it flashed a blue screen (for like one minute) and then restarted and shut down. Should I be worried? What happened?

I recently updated my iPad to iOS 8 and still checking on the settings. When I happened to swipe on my screen for too long, it zoomed and I can no longer see what's on it. I can not even unlock it. I can not use my iPad anymore. What shall I do?
Try double tapping with three fingers and see if that reduces the screen image. If it does, unlock the iPad and go to Settings>General>Accessibility>zoom>Off. If double tapping with three fingers doesn't work, try triple tapping the home button instead.

Yesterday stopped working camera application turns on but the screen is black. It does not work too flashlight. It is gray in the control panel. Maybe somebody know what happened if I need to return my phone service warrants.

To troubleshoot issues with your iPhone camera, please follow the steps below.
Camera
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

Firefox 8... Unable to create PDF files from screen using Adobe Acrobat X...what happened?
I'm no longer able to use the Adobe feature to create PDF's from the Firefox screen.
Unable to find any information on correcting this issue.
I would not have upgraded to Firefox 8 if I knew the loss of the Adobe PDF feature would be effected.
I reinstalled the standard Adobe Acrobat X with no results...
What happened?Firefox Support - I even create a Firefox account just to agree with [email protected] I appreciate the word "Thank you for being awesome!" when I registered the account and I certainly do hope you all guys being awesome to. I got my iPhone 4s screen fixed, now in my Photos it shows nothing, although in my memory usage it shows 10.5gb of photos, thats 2000 photos not showing up. What happened?! Where did all my photos go?!
WOOHOO!!! i finaly fixed the problem. Here is what to do:
Chances are if you did the same thing as me you either have
A) No album names at all for ALL your songs in your library
or
B) Have the same name for every album for ALL your songs in your library.
Here is how to fix it (yah it will take a little work but its worth getting your iPod functioning properly).
Unless you dont want to have to go and actualy set al lthe album names for every song here is what you can do:
Go through to iTunes and arange your songs by Artist name. Click the top song for your first artist, hold Shift and click the last song for that same artist (to multi select all the songs for the artist) go into get info and check the Album box. Copy the name of the artist to the Album box and hit ok.
Now when u update your ipod and go into ur Artists section the actual Artist name should show up instead of the song names.
For some reason having the same album name for all your songs messes up the organization of the iPod.
Hope this helps anyone else that is having the same problem -
I want to know what happened to my ipod, cause after a while that it was off when I want to run in on it gets lines, like if that would be broken and I have to turn off again..
What generation is your iPod? My sister's 2g/3g(I'm not sure which) was doing something similar, but it would put a different graphic on the screen every time. We took it in to the apple store and they didn't determine what it was. One thing they said to try was to restore it and gradually add content on to see if it's an app or something loaded on it. If that doesn't work then they said it's probably something in the software or firmware. They gave her the option of getting one exactly like the one she had or getting the new one like I have. She ended up getting the new one on sale at target.

When scrolling vertically there is an horizontal line which causes distorsion of the screen. I do not have noticed such concern on my iMac or on my macbook. What happen with the macpro ?
