What if I don't want my daughters' iTunes libraries syncing to mine?

Hi all,
I've searched for an answer to this, but couldn't find one I can understand.
I have a MacBook Pro and an iPod Touch 4th generation, and I'm diving into iCloud.
My daughters and my wife all use my Apple ID (they have Windows laptops running, I think, Windows Vista).  I've painstakingly sorted out a library for each one of them on their own laptops (and they have iPod Nanos (5th generation), so they don't have iOS devices.)
What I don't want is for their Windows laptops to reach into iCloud and being downloading into their (small) libraries everything that's in my (gigantic) library, just because they use the same Apple ID.
I'm hoping that doing nothing will make sure that this doesn't happen, but I'm afraid that when they turn on their laptops, iCloud will begin sending tons of stuff to them.  Is there a way to prevent this?  If so, could you please explain it in v-e-r-y simple terms?!?  Thank you!
