  • Service PO close which is not delivered

Service PO close which is not delivered, I want to close Service po made wrongly in this current year. it is not closing.

    Hi,
you can set then EKPO-ELIKZ directly in the PO item: in transaction OMF4.
For example:iIn order to make this field (EKPO-ELIKZ) editible, you need to change field status for it in field status group 'PT9F' in 'Define Screen Layout at Document Level' in SPRO for PO.  (The note 30316 can help you to get the relevant field status groups to check)

  • Service PO Closer

    Hi Everyone,
I would like to close the partial open service PO for the balance services. How do i do it?
    Regards
    Nitin

While crating the SES, if you are aware that this is going to be the last SES against this PO item , then during SES creation, you can set the "Final entry" flag.
This will automatically set the Delivery complete flag. Also, you will not be able to create further SES against this PO item.
But if you donot set the "Final entry flag" and then try to set the "delivery completed" indicator, then the system will close the PO, however, you can still create a SES against this PO.

  • Service Call Close

    Hi Experts,
Can we close Service call in SAP 8.81 PL 7. I have closed the Service call through DI API(SDK). But its not reflecting the SAP , even though I have given resolution . Kindly help me on this.
    My code
    Dim Service As SAPbobsCOM.ServiceCalls
            Dim RetCode As Integer
            Service = objSBOAPI.oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oServiceCalls)
            If Service.GetByKey(CallId) = True Then
                Service.Resolution = "Closed this call"
                Service.Status = -1
                RetCode = Service.Update()
                If RetCode <> 0 Then
                    Application.SetStatusBarMessage(objSBOAPI.oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
                End If
            End If
    Regards
    Tomy

    Hi Tomy,
Judging from this code, you are not closing the service call.
The only thing you are doing is updating the Resolution and Status.
    Try this:
    RetCode = Service.Update()
    If RetCode = 0 Then
'The update succeeded, now we can close the Service call
         RetCode = Service.Close()
         If RetCode <<> 0 Then
              Application.SetStatusBarMessage(objSBOAPI.oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
         End If
    Else
         Application.SetStatusBarMessage(objSBOAPI.oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
    End If

    Hi,
1st check  Delivery completed indicator activated for service PO or not.
Make "Delivery completed" indicator is "Opt.entry" in GR/IR control segment for Field Selection Key PT9F( OR your Field Selection Key you are using for Frame work order document type) in following path:
SPRO-> MM--> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level
Then you can use concept of using  MEMASSPO for closing service order.

  • Service Station closes after starting after install of 3 Toshiba patches

    Hello there,
there was recently a "patch day" in Toshiba Service station. I believe from my memory the patches came out earlier but I installed them on 23 april 2010. There were three patches and as far as I can reconstruct from the system recovery it were:
    - BIOS flashing
    - HDD/SSD Alert patch
    - HDD Recovery patch.
So, besides that I had problems getting the BIOS flashing patch to run, eventually succeeded by extracting the installation files to a different location and run it with administrator rights.
My problem is, that after this patch session, my Toshiba Service Station does not start up any longer. When I start my system, after logging on it seems to start up but then always closes again with the windows error report saying "stopped working" and that's it. I am not sure of which patch this could be. Also I believe that one of these patches said in the description that it will update Service Station itself?! I downloaded Service Station from the Toshiba Website but it will not turn out to the better, doesn't matter if I uninstall it before, start the installation with administrator rights or not.
My system is Satellite A500, Windows 7 64bit.
I hope you can help. Unless I cannot access updates any longer!
Note: Some days before I installed a graphic's driver for my Nvidia GT 230m FROM THE NVIDIA WEB SITE. Why did I do so? I experienced literally HOURLY an unwanted system restart and as I can see from the problem report it was always due to the graphic's driver. In the following I installed the two patches from the Toshiba Website, the older and the newer but the problem persisted. Luckily at some day I recheched the Nvidia website and there was a new driver.
Although it said BEFORE (not now any longer) that this graphic card should rely on a manufacturer driver, I nevertheless installed it because it coulnd't become worse. The positive thing is, that I had not a single system crash until now even if I leave the laptop switched on for hours.
I am not quite sure if the problem with Service Station started right after this graphic driver installation, but it can't be because I installed the three patches mentioned above THROUGH Service station some days later.
But it might have affected the software after these patches? I am not sure.

    Hi
Simply said; Toshiba Service Station crashes and new installation of this tool didnt help.
    Right?
Well, because you are not sure whats wrong and according to the posting, you have got some other problems related to the software, I recommend to recover the notebook using the HDD recovery option!
This will set the notebook to factory settings.
Of course you should backup the data if you have important files.
Run HDD recover and after that check how the notebook would functions!

  • Service to close Year End POs

Is there any special process or utilities or any transaction to close all the open purchase orders at the end of the year?
Or do I need to handle this through a report?
Please let me know your thoughts.
    Thanks
    Kiran

    Hi Rob,
Currently there are numerous pld POs in our system which are inactive and should be closed. So our business thought of starting close them. Since the number is quite large, they thought of automating the process and continue that process towards every year end too(They will determine the period to call it as old or inactive period).
So this is kind of cleaning up. Thats the bottom line.
Beyond this, below is the technical resons given by functional team:
    1. During the fiscal year carry-forward process, some additional staff time and effort are needed to resolve issues that are caused by some of these old and inactive orders.
    2. Budgetary reporting is not accurate. Commitments appear that never will be released.
    3. Old funds that could be discontinued must be kept active if there is still a commitment against it.
    4. Eventually old inactive orders will need to be closed so they can be archived from the tables for system efficiency.
    Thanks
    Kiran

  • Ipod service could not be installed

Installing update to iTunes on PC and getting error "ipod service could not be installed" and now my ipod shuffle is not being recognized.

steps below worked for me ( windows 7 x86/32bits )
close SysInternals's Process Explorer ( if you have it and it's open )
    close all Task Manager(s)
    close Windows Services console ( services.msc )
    close all command prompts ( cmd.exe )
    open a cmd.exe as Admin
run: sc create "iPod Service" binpath= "C:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe"
    close all command prompts ( cmd.exe )
    open Windows Services console ( services.msc )
look for "iPod Service", see if it's not Disabled. If so, start it
    close Windows Services console ( services.msc )
Run iTunes.msi again ( previously downloaded via the Apple Software Update's Only Download function )

  • Web Service to upload large files

    Hi Guys
I'm want to create a Web Service that uploads large files (excess of 100MB). Can some help me with the best way I can do that, either C# or VB.NET.
    Thanks

I've done this before with a web service. It wasn't that hard. As jdweng alludes to, you need a web service and a client that knows how to repeatedly transfer the file sending it in chunks.
The web service needs to take the file name and a byte array. It needs to return the number of bytes it received. The client calls the service endpoint passing in the name of the file and an array populated with x number of bytes. This should/could be tuned
based on the size of the file and available bandwidth. 10 MB is a good upper limit but that may not be practical over a really slow connection... you could potentially time-out the call. The service endpoint receives the byte array and the file name. It creates/opens
the file and appends the byte array onto the end in a synchronous manner. (You need to do it synchronous to avoid any potential race conditions with multiple calls overlapping.) When the server side is done, it returns the number of bytes written to the caller.
The web service should close the file handle after each call since there is no guarantee that there will be another call.
The caller then uses the return value to increment the offset pointer into the source file. When the call returns, the caller increments into the source file by the number of bytes returned then refills the buffer with the next chunk. It then re-calls the
web service sending the same file name and the new byte array. The process continues until all of the bytes in the source file have been transferred to the server.
I uploaded 4GB disk images to a Sharepoint server doing this so it works great and totally avoids the HTTP max payload problem.
    Good luck!

  • Application Services

    Hi,
We are in the process of selecting an app server for our upcoming project. I have a couple of questions regarding weblogic. I would appreciate if you can give one or 2 line description for each item.
    1. Does the appserver allow storage of content in rdbms
    2. Does it have an integrated full text search engine with dynamic indexing
    3. Can the documents be version controlled
    4. Can the appserver store word or excel files in the database
    5. Is it open to 3rd party html editing tools
    6. Does it have built in email facility for notification of events.
    I would appreciate your response.
    Thanks

    Hi dba1
My question is Some time its happen that any of application service like form, CM, listner is suddenly down and you don't know that until some one raise a call or some one come to you and let you know.Firstly you have to check related log files for what is reason for those services somehow close, secondly you have to check its related wiht your hardware or network etc...
So I just need to know is there any way to automate such things like whenever any service goes down an alert come to you and let you know about that.....For your question it can be way You can create one script and can check all services(db+apps) up or not and than you can send those info with email.( you can put script crontab and run every 15 min or 1 hour).
    Hope it helps

  • What Apps & Services Can I Turn OFF Safely?

I looked in on what was currently running on my BIONIC. There had to have been 20 or more apps or services running. Whenever I attempted to turn off any service or close an app, I'd get a message saying that if I close, or stop this app or service, my phone is going to start acting erratically (or something similar).
What's up with that? I know that every one of the "currently running" in the list were not essential to just use my phone and connect to a WI-FI?
So, does anyone know what essential services and apps should stay running, just to get basic services (as mentioned above). I believe these things were killing my battery and eating my RAM.

I tried to answer, but apparently it violated the TOS on here, so let me go about this another way...
Here is a list of things that would be safe to turn off, if you are able to turn any of them off. Not saying you can, just saying these things shouldn't affect your phone's essential functions...

  • How to enable Bonjour Services to get iTunes videos to play?

I have been having trouble downloading videos from MIT OCW which , before ,I could download to iTunes or Real . Before, I was using IE9 and more recently Firefox for this purpose .
I began experiencing problems downloading these videos in iTunes so I uninstalled it , then had problems trying to install it (I have Vista 64-bit Home Premium) , the system would'nt download it until I tried it under Google Chrome , and it did install iTunes......
But the problems persisted when trying to download individual videos from a given course . I went through Mozilla and found out it needed an important update (downloaded on Jan. 1,2012)
and I also installed the free trial app TuneUp Utilities , which seems to have done well all of its functions . In its second module , it gave me the choice of disabling several programs to reduce the load....one of them was "Bonjour services" (or close),
and later , i found out it is needed to share iTunes files, etc. Another disabled file was a complement to QuickTime....I suspect5 that is why the video files will not open under Mozilla or IE . I have yet to try Google Chrome .

There is a free browser called Dolphin and it plays m.youtube site just fine and it's free at the IStore, safari is just getting left behind right now it seems ...

  • Touching edges of X220 IPS display causes hibernation. Horrible customer service!

When I touch the edges of my X220's IPS display, the machine goes into hibernation/sleep. Adjusting the tilt angle of the screen can also cause this. Problem is really bad and unpredictable. I called this in to Lenovo support to have the screen replaced and I am getting the royal run-around. The operators taking the service call info have absolutely no idea what they are doing! And I don't mean technically! They just keep making excuses! It has been 3 days and I have yet to have a tech call me to meet to replace display. I keep calling Lenovo and the operators don't have a clue as to how to handle this! "All I can tell you sir is I will make a notation".  "You'll have to wait until Monday for a tech". What? First, has anyone had this problem with the IPS display, and second, this is my first Lenovo product and I love it but what's up with the warranty service? Does Lenovo have a reputation for this?

Here's 4 service providers close to you.  You could try calling them direct. What number are you calling anyway?  Do you have onsite warranty?
As far as your problem goes, it sounds like the lcd cable might be chaffed or kinked.  Or maybe a loose connection on the cable. It's not a common problem, but it happens.
