Direct Sales Order :
If company A places order on company B directly without any dealer in between is called as direct sales order.
Normally if a dealer comes inside the network , then they will do an even sales.

    For example : If the Wait activity in 'Close - Order' process encountered first time on 09-May-2013(Any time in the month of May), then Wake up time will be last day of current month I.e. 31-May-2013 00:00.

    How the Created Sales Are Cancelled and How does
    What happens a Sales Order is cancelled at Header Level...technicall speaking all the line items in that sales order will also be cancelled
    When i checked the Change Logs are Header Level for a particular Sales Order it is displaying that sales order is cancelled
    But when i check the Change logs at litem level the cancelled info is not replicated
    How does this whole sales order is processed.......
    In which tables (I checked CDHDR,CDPOS)...THESE SALES ORDER ARE SAVE

    hi,
    the first option is the right one. the FM invoked makes a direct input, so all the functionalities in S.O. are the standard one in the same way as if you are making it manually.
    Also you can have some exits in the Idoc FM, so you can manipulate data there before loading the sales order.

  • Issue between PO and Sales order

    we are having a serious performance issue in one certain circumstance.
    we have a sales order with 1800 items on it. of these 1800 items, 21 have generated a third party PO, for the goods to be shipped directly to the customer from the supplier.
    When we make a change to the purchase order, for example, to update the confirmation, and hit save, even for a single item, it can take more than a minute to do the update. It appears it is looping through the VBUP table for ALL items in the sales order, and any follow on documents, and pulling in first all VBUP records for the order, then all vbup records for the item. So it appears we are reading the full VBUP for the entire order 1800 times! THis is regardless of the fact that we have the sales order and item, so we dont need to read the entire VBUP for the sales document, and also regardless of the fact that only 21 of the items on the sales order have anything to do with our purchase order!
    I have tried a trace to see where VBUP is getting read and it is 90% of the response time of the save being used just read these records, over and over and over.
    Has anyone ever seen this or found a fix? i have searched google and here and OSS.
    What ties the PO to the sales order, other than the account assignment? what about the sales order is getting updated when we change a PO item, especially, just a confirmation?
    I have checked for user exits, etc, and we are running this vanilla.

    I guess it might be hard if this is std code all along that takes that much time to process operation you describe.
    You might try some to do some things to speed this up if you are sure that reading VBUP is taking most of the time:
    1) add an index on some fields of this table (this might not be needed as the logic should know the key which is sales order no and item no
    2) try to archive some old data that will free the VBUP from some records and will speed up reading
    Of course you might also ask SAP via OSS channel but I guess if it's only a minute they won't really treat it as any bug and will answer "work as designed" and suggest creating smaller sales order (split the big ones).

    Open means usually that the ordered quantity - GR quantity and 'IR does not equal.
    You have to analyze the situation in detail.
    I guess it is a 3rd party order. What is the sales order quantity?
    how much was ordered in the PO? how much was received, how much was the invoice?
    Why does the PO have a deletion indicator?

  • Sales orders ONLY in APO and not in R/3

    Dear Friends,
    I have this peculiar but very critical problem wherein:
    APO creates an extra schedule line to an ALREADY EXISTING sales order only in APO with a quantity in decimals like 130.320 PCs or whatever. Also, important to note is that this line has a required date very much in the future starting from 12-2009. Also, this sales order schedule line is non existent in R/3!
    - I have checked the R/3 SD tables but nothing which relates to this qty.
    - I have checked the sales order changes, but nothing in the history which suggests that someone might have changed it.
    - I checked the UOM both in R/3 & APO but nothing.
    Now, the problem is that:
    How & what created this sales order?
    If it is in APO, then y it isnt being sent to R/3 like all the other normal sales orders?
    Most critical: APO sees this reqt & automatically creates a planned order (bckgrnd) which is then sent to R/3 as a recpt!!

    You say you ran LC consistency (which would be /SAPAPO/OM17).  Did you also run CCR as I mentioned earlier?
    Although there are no Queue errors, it is possible that someone has deleted the item from the queue.  So, continue.
    You can try to delete the order in APO using program /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL.   Select Delete on database tab, deselect test, select the appropriate product/location(S).  Select 'without check'.  Select both boxes in Additional functions.  Since you are not using GATP, you are not using allocations, but it is OK to select these items too. Execute.  Stay away from the 'Delete all DB Sales order Data" tab!, or you may have to re-cif all your orders across.  Now redo your LC consistency.
    As far as your models are concerned, you need to assure yourself that there are no ATP (transactional, not material independent) models open.  Use CFM5 to search.
    As for the material independent CIF, it is a good idea to inactivate this model after the initial transfer.  If you ever do any ATP config within APO, this model can overwrite some of the settings you created in APO.  Usually this is undesirable.
    Let me know if any of the above steps allow you to delete the APO order you don't want.

  • Close Sale Orders via DTW

    Hi,
    I want to close Sales Orders using DTW but I got an error:
    Document rows Cannot be closed concurrently.
    I read some threads:

    I disabled all formatted searches and it didn't help.
    Need help.

  • How to make a sales order item deleted in ECC while in CRM just status changed?

    Hi expert,
    I have a requirment, that is:
    1. the user will change the USER STATUS in a line item of sales order to "CANCEL".
    2. When the order was replicated to ECC,the item should be deleted totally and the ITEM in CRM should not be affected.
    How can I implement this? Is there any resolution by just make some configuration?

    Hi Jerry,
    As per standard SAP, the line item is not deleted (in ECC) based on the status changes at the line item (in CRM)
    You need to do the development to achieve this.  Following points to be considered if you are doing any custom enhancement.
    1. What triggers the sales order replication ? Is it status change at header level ?  If yes, then you need to define a program which will first check the line item status in CRM Sales Order.
    2. Wherever a line item status is CANCEL, it may store in some internal table and then it will call an RFC to delete these line items in the replicated ECC Sales Order.  (without deleting the line items in CRM Sales Order)
    3. Mind you that, this will be a complex enhancement and may give lot of challenges in the sales order replication to ECC.
    Drawback of this requirement -
    1. If your client prefer to have this scenario, then it is fine, but I could see the data inconsistency in all such sales orders.  There will be a mismatch between the sales order in ECC and CRM

  • Shipping point determination is not happening for CRM sales order in ECC

    Hi,
    When we create direct sales order in ECC, shipping point determination is happening automatically that means all the relevant settings are properly maintained in ECC for automatic determination of shipping point.
    But when we create sales order in CRM and replicate it to ECC, shipping point field is empty even though we use same master data.Hence we are unable to create delivery document.
    All the master data (Org structure,Customers,Materials and plants) downloaded from ECC to CRM.

    Hello Nagi,
    Shipping point is determined by the following three factors:
      1.shipping condition 2.loading group 3.plant
    So please check your customization by the following steps:
      1.Use T-code OVX6 to check if you have assigned the plant to your CRM order's sales organization.
      2.Shipping condition is usually taken from CRM order directly. Please check whether you have CRM order shipping condition set to the same one as creating ECC order VA01
      3.Use T-code SPRO then press F5, go to Logistics Execution  Shipping Basic Shipping Functions  Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination  Assign Shipping Points to check the shipping point is assigned correctly.

  • Sale orders lost after SGEN ????

    Hi there,
    I am just wondering about something.
    After we installed support packages, users created sales order without to get any error message and I we could only see an error message via SM21 which says:
    Run-time error "LOAD_TYPEPOOL_VERSION_MISMATCH" occurred.
    So after we regenerated the ABAP report: RSM13000 after that everythings seems to be ok.
    When now the user try to get those sales order we do not find them.
    Now the question is: When we try to find the order numbers which the users created before the regeneration we find nothing.
    What about this numbers? Did they have not been created at all or what hapened?
    As I know the generation of any ABAP report  via SGEN or (RSM13000) will not delete anything.

  • Archiving - Sales order status change to archiving

    Hi Experts
    I tried to archive an old old sales order.  It gave the error as the sales order does not have the right status.
    Firstly, I have changed the settlement profile of the order type, 'not to be settled' as they have unsettled data on them.  We do not need this data and just want to archive these old orders off.
    1. Could you please tell me what status the sales order should have in order to archive them  and, -
    2. Which table/s contain this status: i.e. field name and table.
    We would like to programatically close these off so that they can be archived (never to be used again).
    Your help will be most appreciated.  Points will be awarded.

  • Sales order do not create after SAP upgradation to package EHP7

    Dear Experts,
    SAP client is recently upgraded to EHP7. Since then we are observing difficulty in Sales order creation [VA01] manually [with or without order reference].
    When click on SAVE button, entire screen display get freezed, without any message [Error/Information/Warning] pop-up. it seems as if system was trying to display message; caused due to any kind of event occurrence; but unable to show up.
    Moreover, when we click on "BACK" or "EXIT" button, then it prompts choices to save the data. Yet again we receive the same freeze response whenever chose "Yes" option.
    Please note:- before up-gradation, we were able to create orders with the same data, what we are using to create now.
    Any help or clue on this subject would be highly appreciated.

    I might consider starting with sales order documents, then retrieving any prior documents based upon the prior (originating and reference) document entries in VBAP (and NEVER by reading VBFA backward).  But I would almost never start a sales report from VBAK; that's the wrong place.  Read SAP NOTE 185530 on how to do efficient SD reporting.

  • Sales Order Account Assignment when Creating w/Reference?

    When a sales order is created with reference to another sales order and line items are copied in from the referenced sales order, what causes the Sales Order and Line item to be populated in the Account Assignment tab as the CO Object? 
    This only happens in some cases in our system.  I have not determined why.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.  I would prefer for the Profitabilty Segment be the CO object in all cases.

    you can transfer again the infoobject from business content,
    rsa1->business content, choose 'object type' in left, middle panel look for infoobject and expand, choose 0doc_number and transfer,
    choose grouping only necessary objects, and install.
    couldnt find the datasource 0doc_number_attr in r/3, from the attributes it has (0CAMPAIGN 0LOGSYS 0OPP_NUM 0SAL_PROM 0SLS_ACTIV) looks like it's from crm system, it's under SD-IO application component.
