What is max number of bits supported by the 2nd argument of DAQmxCreateDOChan()?

The example file WriteDigChan.c is very helpful, but it only handles 8-bits. I need 16 output bits. In that example, could I simply change the second argument from "Dev1/port0/line0:7" to "Dev1/port0/line0:15"? Or is each port limited to 8-bits?

Thank you for using NI forums. The number of bits for each port is device specific, but most devices do have 8 bits for each port. One thing you can try is to specify multiple ports i.e. "Dev1/port0/line0:7, Dev1/port1/line0:7". You can then create an 8 bit array with two elements (1 element for each port) and specify the values you would like written for each line. Try this out and let me know how it works for you.

You don't say which version of the database you are using. In 10gR2 the maximum limit on users and roles is 2,147,483,638.
I think this is more users than any sensible DBA would want to manager :)

I tried all possible solutions through apple online support and then went to apple store as a last resort and they turned me down that there is no support in the 2nd year. Only option is to pay 160 pounds and get replacement. When I argued further, they said that if I had bought the iphone directly with them, they would replace me without any cost. This is even more frustrating.
THIS IS TOTALLY UNFAIR as its not my fault. If the release of faulty 7.0.4 software is timed in my 2nd year of contract and since I didnt buy the iphone directly from Apple, how is it fair to ask me to pay for replacement. Its not my fault after all.

Because you are outside the one year hard ware warrenty, Apple covers for the first year on their dime, if you had a two year contract why not make sure you have a two year insurance on your phone?
Either way as I can see/assume you are from europe you can look at your consumer laws to see if you qualify for anything there, beyond that it isn't the software that broke the device, it's a hardware failure because thousands upon thousands are happy and content with iOS 7.0.4

There is no real size limit. (except for the natural limits of arrays because the size is a 32bit integer, etc.)
... of course if you ever plan to convert it back to an integer using "boolean array to number", you better stay below 64 bits.
Can you explain what you want to do in a bit more detail?

Max Number of files supported by new Zen Touch Firmwar

I used to have about 34gigs of music on my zen touch with the old firmware. But now it will only accept about 20 gigs. Does anyone know what is the max number of files that zen touch supports with new firmware ?

Max Number of apps allowed on the phone

I heard some where that the max number of pages is 9. So, if you download a bunch of free apps and some paid apps, where does the apps go after 9 pages? I wish the next update from apple includes a filing tool. It would be nice to put apps in a folder in a similar catagory in the app store. For examples, all games in the game folder.

It will slow down the backups when you sync. Having lots of apps will not slow down the iPhone, since only one app can run at a time, and the size of the apps are tiny - most are less than 1 MB (i.e. you would be hard-pressed to come anywhere close to filling your iPhone with apps).

64-Bit Support for the rest of the CC apps?

As I am new to the CC suite, I noticed that not all the app are available in a 64-Bit version. For instance Muse and InDesign are not 64-Bit. Also parts of Adobe Acrobat are still 32-bit like acrotray.exe.
I was wondering if this will be addressed with the relaunch of the CS\CC suite as the new CC suite on June 17th?

The LabVIEW FPGA Module uses the 32-bit version of the Xilinx tools, even on the 64-bit OS.
There is no 64 bit version of LabVIEW FPGA and you must have LabVIEW 32 bit
installed on your 64-bit machine to use the compatible version of
LabVIEW FPGA.
NI LabVIEW FPGA Module will run within the 32-bit emulation layer, Windows on Windows (WOW64).

Im looking for a system to power 10 LCD display TVs.
With 5 PCI-E bays, this should be possible on the Mac Pro, but would OS X support it?
It would be a text / graphical display it shouldn't be too demanding.

What has happened to audio/midi support in the Quicktime plugin?

I have a six-month old iMac running Mavericks (10.9.3) with Safari 7.0.4. I use midi a lot when I'm trying to learn a new piece of music, which is often. I don't want to have to download a midi file into another app just to audition the file.
Why has the support for audio/midi been removed? (again)
What can I do about it without spending money? (again)
I seem to be in a cycle where over a period of years, additional software is needed for some time and then the feature reappears with an update to either the system or Safari, only to again be deleted. Is it just me?
The outrageous thing is the cost of the Quicktime Pro which in Australia costs AU$37.99 which is more than the cost of the entire Mavericks or Mountain Lion operating systems. I'm sure I've bought this before, but junked it because the feature reappeared, and now it's gone again. I don't want to have to buy it again, particularly not at this price.

Apple has ended support for MIDI in browser playback but they can still be played with QuickTime Player 7 once you download the file to your machine.
QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later
The free version is all you need and MIDI files are tiny and quick to download.

What is going on with tethered support for the canon 70D?

I just saw the release of Lightroom CC, and it appears that the Canon 70D is still not supported for tethering. This camera has been on the market for almost 2 years, and there have been several releases of Lightroom, including this major one. What is going on here? This is a major feature that is missing and a huge inconvenience to workaround. When will this be fixed? What is holding it up?

This information is a couple of years old, so I can not vouch for how current it is. But it may be worth a try.
